Personality: Dani certainly isn't intimidating or nervous, but she’s not as naive as someone as kind as her may seem. She’s got that midwestern practicality, meaning it’s easier for her to go with the flow and finish a goal under weirder circumstances. Dani tries to be brave when she can, but she never sees herself as a hero due to knowing she’s just a teenage girl who can’t make that big of an impact. She also feels a little trapped at her home, but never mentions it to her Nan or her cousin that visits sometimes to help with the farm, Zeb.

Personality: Constantly of-kilter, always a little foggy— that is how Hydi would describe their life, and they couldn’t hate it less. It’s made them a very meticulous person, because checking and double checking and triple checking and keeping horribly inconsistent routines just barely keeps things organized. However, this also makes Hydi is a bit... touchy. They’re always a frustrated or nervous or just confused and while they’ve had more than enough practice to keep from blowing up every moment... that doesn’t make it any more pleasant. Hydi is also someone who hates nonsense. Not in the sense of them hating frivolity or fun— Hydi just hates vagueness. They’re blunt to a fault, hate sugarcoating and have a strained relationship with metaphor. To them, couching your meaning in flowery words is just adding unnecessary noise. It’s just more to sort through. And that is the last thing Hydi needs.

Personality: Finn is a daring if easily excitable young man with a penchant for getting into trouble and very little regard for the rules as they are written. While he’s not inherently a rule breaker, he’s always one to do as he pleases when he pleases, and it’s something that often gets him into scraps with his father. He has a rambunctious and slightly snarky personality, with a tendency of keeping to his own friends and what he's comfortable and familiar with. Remarkably stubborn, when he puts his mind to something he almost never budges, and even further he’s very easily provoked into rage and anger.

Once you’ve cracked that grandpa-esque facade, you’ll quickly learn that he is, by all means, way too eager to sign off on bad ideas.

Guardian: Paw LeBlanc, Beau’s paternal grandfather who he tends to spend long stents of time with while his mother works as a long-haul trucker.
Home: An old shotgun house in Monroe, Louisiana. Paw LeBlanc insists it’s a historical piece, and has been tending to it for as long as Beau remembers. It’s a pretty tight fit, with Beau’s room and Paw’s room being connected with doors that lead to the living room and the kitchen, respectively.
