"It's easier to take care of plants than people"

Quincy wasn't thrilled with his parents when his parents moved him from their small home in Georgia, to the bustling city of New York. It was freezing in the Winter, and there was no room in their small apartment for a garden, and he was forced to take his seeds to the balcony, knowing that they'd wilt away in the cold season. His parents thought he was quite strange, a boy his age shouldn't be so weird. Quincy was always a loner. Other boys being into sports, or other things rather than keeping plants for company. He never attended school basket ball games, and he didn't participate in any clubs. And ever since his family had moved him away from that beautiful garden in their backyard....away from his grandmother who supported him so much in his love for flowers....he truly had nothing. No flowers, no friends, no anything. "You'll like it here!" his parents had said. "A fresh start!" they promised. "You'll make friends here!" they told him. Lies. All....lies.

Quincy groaned, walking to school that day with his mom. Two days before the hell would begin. He looked down at his bandaged legs, and his scuffed sneakers. He didn't want to see this school. He didn't want to meet the principal. "It'll be good for you!" his mom had told him. Lies. Always the lies.

@The Queen of ScrubsIt's the first day of school, the hallways are busy and everyone seems to have their own agenda excited for this new school year.

Jenithan peeks in the glass at the students walking through, she wanted to go to school for a long time, but she was scared she couldn't disguise herself enough as a normal girl, and the teachers might find out about her...this year is different she made up her mind , and she snook in the back door, making her way to the bathroom, she tired freshening up, brushing her teeth, and rinsing her face, she still looked a little rough , but much better, especially without her coat looming over her, but still she couldn't help herself , she had to wear her boyish spacious black jacket , and she walked out into the hallway, trying to figure out where everyone was going.

Quincy shuffled through the halls. He was drained. He hated everyone here. People were putrid, and they weren't even green. He noticed a girl wearing a headband with flowers, but they were fake, and it was cheaply crafted. The boy was disgusted. He had made it to his locker, but he mostly just spend a few minutes there to waste time, make it seem like he was busy. He carried all the books he needed in his backpack. It was simple that way, then he didn't have to run back and forth. But even so, he hated all of this. It was the first day, and he already wanted to rip his intestines out. 'You're just being overdramatic!' his mother had said. But Quincy knew he wasn't. He took a seat down in his first class, and pulled out a notebook. Not to take notes, but just to entertain himself. He arranged it to the side, and drew little doodles all over the side. He waited as the rest of the class began to come in, keeping his eyes glued to the paper.

@The Queen of Scrubs finally Jenithan pushed her way through..literally , pressing and clawing through with tunnel vision, she didn't realize she knocked a couple jocks over though that's how focused she was on getting in the classroom.

When she got in the door stepping in front of a couple people, with no clue what so ever, she took her seat in the way back She didn't want people asking questions, that would be hard to get out of. While class was settling in, she started looking around..whispering"no sticky fingers...stop stop sticky fingers.." she had her eye on that same girl Quincy noticed,

She wasn't interested in her crown of flowers, but her purse and her jewelry seemed appealing ,  the gold bracelet shimmer in the perfect light of the sun. Jenithan started to lose focused and her eyes wonder rapidly around the room, when she noticed Quincy glued to his paper  like a fly in Orange soda, he didn't seem to have anything , but he did remind her she forgot

her books, pencils, everything she needed for school. And she thought "oh..oops" feeling like a bum" excuse me um, I want that pencil" she taps him before pointing to the pencil beside his note book.

Quincy narrowed his eyes at her. He hadn't turned around at first, and he bore his eyes right through her head. The girl was dirty. He moved his backpack away from her. "It's the first day of school," he pointed out. "Buy your own damn pencil." He didn't want to talk to any of these people. He kept a twisted face, brown eyes looking sharp and deadly. He made his point clear, he wasn't going to share with this girl. He didn't even know her! The girl was weird looking, and not the good kind either. Quincy wasn't here to make friends, or acquaintances. He was here because he had to be. He gripped his pencil tight, and eyed the girl wearily. She hadn't even asked nicely! 'I want that pencil'  Yeah, Quincy was so sure she did want it. Because she was so stupid that she forgot one. Maybe he was being mean, thinking rude thoughts, but he was already stressed out. He didn't even want to go home after the school day, there was not garden waiting for him. Quincy pursed his lips. "Ask someone else."

"...your mouth.." she muttered to herself , with her chest pumping .she started to clinch her fists that were hidden under her long sleeves..boy she feels angry ...then she thought , she shouldn't say anything else, normally on the street she'd push him and take it, but again she had to remember not to do that, so she just got up from the situation, and set further to the left, hoping it would ease her anger,  and instantly her breathing wasn't as thick, and she could think about what just happened... after all her tone wasn't rude, but thinking about her english , it was kinda bad at times because she's spoken German mostly, maybe that was it, either way she just couldn't tell, she doesn't really understand others emotions very well. She figured she'd just sit there the whole day without a pencil, she didn't want another moment to test her temper .
