In a city where the greatest heroes are both born and raised, two unlikely individuals will come together to unveil the truth behind the curtains. What they find may not be quite so heroic, after all.
Has true justice lost both its face and name?- Main
Justin Tang: A man who has yet to grow out of his boyhood dream to become a superhero. He is currently employed as an IT guy at Hero Corp and operates as an unlicensed hero under his own banner of justice and equipped with homemade (and partially stolen) technology that he may or may not have gotten from a company dumpster.
Camila Greene: A former cop/homicide detective who turned in her badge and after becoming disillusioned by the current hero society, following an incident with a certain superhero. She has since been independently investigating a variety of suspicious activities and has developed a reputation as an antihero among some circles.
Supporting
- Venture City: the hero capital of the world, located in the bay area of California.
Prometheus Inc.: the largest and most profitable conglomerate in the world.
Hero Corp: a massive franchise subsidiary under Prometheus Inc. that trains and employs the world's greatest heroes.
Venture City Law Enforcement Department: commonly known as the LEDs. They fulfill all of the cities law enforcement needs and are often first-responders in the event of an emergency, even when an enhanced individual or incident is involved. Currently, the department's relations with private hero corporations is frigid at best.
Enhanced Response Division (ERD): a branch of the Venture City Law Enforcement Department that specializes in dealing with enhanced criminals.
Enhanced Individuals: people who have developed supernatural abilities as a result of a naturally, but rare, occurring genetic mutation. - --
