So, I have already made the RP, because I know some of my friends were interested, and some of them have already spoken to me about making characters and are already making them, but the RP is also open to the public and I invite anyone who is interested to join!
It's a Heroes role play, based off of the Heroes original series by Tim Kring. If you haven't seen it, that's okay. You don't really need to see it in order to RP - there won't be that many references to the series. Only some of the basic things like the Eclipse and what that does. It also includes some components of the new series, Heroes Reborn. I saw the trailer and took some things from there.
I don't know everything about the new series, obviously. Only what they showed. So I took a few liberties with my own interpretations and I'm adding a few things.
There are 3 factions. In the beginning, every role player must be in one of the three. There is a government faction, Exousia, which is mainly normal humans who make sure every Evolved Human (Evo) is tagged to later be identified as evolved. They also deal with criminal Evos, working to hunt them down and take them out.
Then there is Primatech, which is the same as in the original series. It's split pretty evenly between normal humans and Evos and follows the same motto as they do, "One of us, one of them", meaning one Evo is paired with one normal human. They are partners for their time at Primatech unless something happens to change that, such as death. They work on making sure potentially dangerous Evos are kept harmless and keep criminal Evos on lockdown (if they can before Exousia gets to them). They work as a branch of the government, since they are government funded for the most part (though they are also privately funded), but do not answer directly to the government. Fun stuff.
Last but not least, there is Guro. Guro is known among many Evos as the 'Freedom Fighters' or the 'Vigilantes' of the whole situation. However, among Exousia and Primatech personnel, Guro is mostly a nuisance. Guro works to hide Evos who aren't tagged. If an Evo is untagged, they are known as a human until they are tagged or they show their powers and are captured. They do not work with criminal Evos, and may even turn them over to Primatech (not Exousia, because Exousia would kill them) in order to keep their reputation as clean as possible.
There is a chain of command for every faction, and is explained within the RP thread, with the exception of Exousia, but that's explained in the Organizations tab.
