HEROES OF TOMORROW | LORE
Tab One: THE JUSTICE LEAGUE.
A global phenomenon, known worldwide as the saviors of our planet, The Justice League are the trusted heroes that have served and protected Earth for years. There are five main members of the League and several smaller satellite teams of heroes throughout the country and even around the world. Many of these heroes have taken sidekicks throughout the years, and with the retirement of heroes coming one after another, the League has decided to create a training program to ensure that Earth would still have a group of great protectors. Some League members even nominated their own children to replace their mantle.
As of late, many heroes have slowly fallen out of commission, whether it be old age or even finally falling to the sword of their many enemies.
ACTIVE MEMBERS... Martian Manhunter, John Constantine, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Dr. Daring, etc.
Tab Two: THE HALLOWED.
For as long as humanity has existed in the light, its counterpart has existed in the dark, waiting, biding its time. The League has defeated many villains, but it seems that their enemies are endless. Villains typically don’t work together, but several have banded together in the last few years as the heroes have aged out of their prime and become easier targets. With this, they have formed the Hallowed. An amalgamation of the most depraved, the most evil, and the most powerful of them all. With the creation of the Heroes of Tomorrow initiative, the Hallowed have realized that this instability is their chance to eliminate the heroes for good. To take out the Justice League once and for all, the Hallowed have decided to sabotage the up and coming Heroes of Tomorrow to wipe them out permanently.
NOTABLE MEMBERS... The Angelslayer and the Snakecharmer, also known as Iessenia and Judas Cage. Notorious leaders of an isolated religious sect known as the Acolytes of the True Deep.
Tab Three: THE HEROES OF TOMORROW.
As of now, the world does not know just yet about the Heroes of Tomorrow initiative. In a hush hush attempt to keep details on the down low, its name and mentions of the initiative are scrubbed from the public's media and news, waiting until the right moment to announce their new heroes once they are deemed ready. Not only that, but to prevent anything to happen to their new, young recruits. The Heroes of Tomorrow initiative is humanity's attempt at ensuring the next generation will have their own heroes as well, made up of handpicked recruits who will, eventually, bear the weight of the world on their shoulders.
Each recruit has received a letter, whether it be at their place of work, placed somewhere in their home, anywhere that ensured it would be found. How it was placed there? Nobody knows. But the letter details a brief overview of what they would be getting themselves into, and prompts them to respond with their answer and instructions on where to leave it. Now, they must wait and see.
The Heroes of Tomorrow will be staying inside the Mt. Justice base once the initiative begins. Much like a training boot camp, trainees will be placed together in pairs in dorms, with a communal eating area, training centers specifically focused around each of their special skill sets, as well as rigorous training schedules both for team exercises and individual needs. They are permitted to leave only for missions and on outings with their mentor's approval. Each trainee will be appointed a League mentor to advise them specifically. The program is supervised by Black Canary, who will be in charge of day to day training and mission assignment.
For now, once the team is introduced, a day to day look at a trainees life would include:
Wake up times at 8 A.M. sharp, breakfast, and their first individual training session of the day. Training will include both a focus on personal skillsets or honing their abilities, but also expanding what they can do and what they need to know. Not only will there be physical training, but mental as well, and they will need to know essential information about the League's enemies, whereabouts, etc. Afternoons will be set for team training sessions, and then dinner, recreational time, and bedtime at 9 P.M.
Tab Four: OUR WORLD.
The year is 2052, further into the future and far past the golden ages of our beloved heroes. Technology has advanced far past the human imaginations, with new and innovative ways of living. Currently, our roleplay will be set on the East Coast of the United States. Major cities have technology integrated with living - it is typical to see holographic billboards, neon lights, majorly advanced technology both in the streets and supporting our way of life. Flying cars, advanced speed rail travel, accessible public transportation - you name it. Much of the public now have devices considered more advanced than the typical smartphone - small, intelligent, holographic devices are the regular, and its not abnormal to see humans with small cybernetic inclusions as well, such as fully operational prosthetic limbs, or replacement eyes.

Mission Codename: The Prodigal Son. With the advancement of technology in the last thirty years, cloning science is within reach, though outlawed by most governments. This hasn't stopped those with resources from meddling with DNA science. One such person is Lex Luthor, CEO of Lex Corp.
With DNA stolen from Superman, Luthor created the Prodigal Son, the perfect weapon to do his bidding. Conrad Luthor has recently inherited Lex Corp after his father's retirement, as well as recently joining the Hallowed. With excessive money and connections, Conrad Luthor has created an army of AI robots specifically to take out a certain group of heroes and anyone who tries to get in his way. The Heroes of Tomorrow have been sent on an emergency dispatch to stop the army of bots.
