CS Guide:
A/N: I know this all looks kind of intimidating, and it looks really long, but trust me it's not! You can be as descriptive or as un-descriptive as you want, but please let it be enough so I can approve you! This CS is also going to serve as a template for side characters/NPCs, however NPCs only need "At a Glance" and "Superpowers" (optional) to be filled out.

{O} indicates that it is optional and need not be filled out for the CS to be complete.

Please indicate that a CS is incomplete by writing (WIP) on the top, then tag me and quote your CS when you have it completed.

Reserving powers is NOT allowed, but if I see someone blatantly copying your character I will pull them aside.

Name: Alex that's it
Alias: most just look at me with sad eyes honestly though some call me, grim.
Nickname(s) {O}: Is Alex so hard to say?
Age: a while
Gender: Male-ish
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Affiliation: Independent
Appearance:
320

Height: 6'6"
Weight: 52 lbs

Personality: Alex is a very hospitable type, he deeply enjoys company, in fact, one could note that Alex is normally pretty lonely. He Likes Celtic things including kilts and the music, he thinks of them as lively and warm, something Alex likes to think he is. He is pretty sad looking normally he will be found walking alone this is somewhat due to his power which makes the company and fleeting thing and movement or seclusion a must.
Backstory {O}: He was born in Texas near the bottom in his memory though he couldn't name exactly where. He was a relatively normal child never cowering away from his life even as hard as it was. The supposed farm he lived on used flint tools and the work was extremely hard, not to mention lifespans around that time were pretty short. He died in spring after having two children and growing old with a woman he can't remember anymore.
He woke up a year later in winter, honestly, it was a rude awaking he was suddenly yanked from the cold embrace of death and thrown violently back into the light. He originally thought he was a ghost, but after noticing his own footsteps in the snow and the animals that were nearby staring at him he got the impression he was still alive in some form or another. He never was able to find his people again, not that he looked the hood that was permanently affixed to his head and the skeletal reflection he had seen in the water would give off the impression he was no longer a pleasant sight.
Regardless life continued, one would think being brought back from the dead as a never aging spirt would mean you had a purpose. One would be mistaken, Alex looked for a reason for his existence for many seasons, but the search was in vain, the truth is it was an accident, whatever had given him his life had not had a purpose in doing such. In effect, he was doomed to immortality, and even that came with a price. He found that people who stayed within 20 feet of him began to suffer from visions of the dead. Souls would scream out and seek life a new with them, not that they could, their attempts are in vain since honestly, they have no way of connecting with these people they bother. It is disturbing though and only those blessed with superhuman abilities can avoid its wrath.
He has explored far and wide in the attempt to find a way to have long-lasting company and only succeeded once. A medicine man who had the ability to cure ill children just by having them wear clothes of his making. He found out this way who he could find company with those with abnormal abilities, and that their presence suppresses his curse. He left when the man died of age, honestly, he had watched a generation grow and die in the time it took for the man to die but those years seemed like fleeting moments to the old immortal.
He had devoted some time to study, for a while the pursuit of knowledge filled him, even gave him clues to what had happened in the form of a syth and cowl that never grew old or dull much like himself. Though in the end his endless study only made the knowledge worthless, by the time he had learned more a few years had passed since he had first begun the pursuit so he had forgotten. In the end, all he wants is company someone to spend a few passing moments within before he is forced to move again. Perhaps if the blood of the abnormal remains in this city he may be able to stay a long time, perhaps he will finally find rest in the people of this town.

Strengths:
Linguist: he can read and speak most known languages, with the exception of ancient Greek, Galic, and ancient Japanese

Experience: he is experienced with a wide variety of sicknesses and tech. Making him pretty useful just to have around.

Hospitable: he likes company, and will go to almost unreasonable stents to keep it. Making him very kind to those who will chat with him.

Experienced again: he has spent years wondering this world and sometimes that meant to fight for his life. He is a master of the blade, gun, and fist making him a reasonable tuter for a warrior.

Patent: his years have given him an almost unlimited amount of patients for people.

Arts and crafts: pretty good at sketching and wood working, he has had a lot of hobbies.

Weaknesses:

The grim: he is an odd one even for this city getting strange looks and even violent reactions when he walks around

His curse: he while not in the accompaniment of a super hero gives people visions of people who have passed. These people normally fit their description of horrifying. Example: he once sat in a room with an elementary school teacher for 10 min she began suffering from visions of children who had been beaten yo death trying to crawl on her.

Loud bones: he can't sneak around his feet and movements bring very audible clanks as his bones hit the ground and each other

Bothersome: he will follow superhuman people around, to the point he is bothersome. Having a grim reaper looking guy following you around isn't fun.

Abilities: He can make cook, make drinks, perform surgery, or repair most mechanical issues due to an incredibly long life of doing almost nothing he picked up hobbies.
Equipment: The cloak of the ethereal, The harvester of souls

Powers:
Soul tear: his syth can go through theoreticly anything and what ever it hits it shuts down. Meaning if it slips through your lungs they shut down and start to decay as well as the skin it went through to get there.

Ethereal: he can go through 6 objects in a half hour this includes attacks aimed at him.

Airwalking: he can walk on air, but that's it it's just him walking but higher up.

Immortality: he does not eat, sleep, drink, breath, or age. Not to say he can't do any of those things but it serves no purpose.

Catalysts {O}: cemeteries, mortuaries , and crematoriums allow him to remain in entherial form indefinitely

Blockages {O}: churches, and temples of any religion mean he is just a skelton in a robe and holy items such as well made crosses, and bibles can negate the catalysts.

Limits: he can only face through 6 things every half an hour meaning after the 6th swing you can hit him.

Occupation {O}: he's a handyman not that anyone would hire him.
Extra {O}: He is decently wealthy and knows the locations of a few treasures left here by the Spanish. Not that you could extract that from him unless your willing to talk to him for a little while and even then he, him self would want to show you the location personally.

Weaknesses: He is very lonely and will almost always go where company is promised.
Abilities: He can make cook, make drinks, perform surgery, or repair most mechanical issues due to an incredibly long life of doing almost nothing he picked up hobbies.
Equipment: The cloak of the ethereal, The harvester of souls

Powers: He is a never aging skeleton looking ghost, He can phase through walls and his syth can slip through armor. When the syth passes through organs they stop functioning permanently and decay while inside a person. He can also fly, kind of, it looks like hes walking on air and goes at the same speed so its just his normal walk just higher up.
Catalysts {O}: Normal humans, they make the spirts of the dead in the form of their worst fear try and occupie their body. It's not a physically harmful thing but it is not ok mentally for most people.
Blockages {O}: Abhumans, the effect doesn't take hold while they are around.
Limits: he can only face through 6 things every half an hour meaning after the 6th swing you can hit him.

Occupation {O}: he's a handyman not that anyone would hire him
Extra {O}: Anything else I missed?

Sorry, but this character type seems a bit...too...Death-God-like. 6 phases is enough to kill someone before they can even reach them. Sorry, but...this character might not work. You can keep the appearance but the powers comprise of these

-Undead Physiology
-Intangibility
-Air-Walking
-Decay Inducement

Undead Physiology doesn't go with Intangibility or Air-Walking unless he straight up IS a ghost, in which case he'll ALWAYS phase through things. Decay Inducement is a death god's power, so if that came alone then that would be fine however the fact that he can phase and do all those other things means the powers aren't necessarily themed together, unless you're making a real death god.

charles-snippy-mr-romantically-apocalyptic-coat-fire-m63568.jpg

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 126 pounds

|| Persona ||
Personality: He's the type that always tries to irritate the opponent as much as possible no matter what condition he's in, using the powers of bad puns and sass. With friends, he's goofy and childish, wanting to entertain his friends as much as possible so they don't leave him out of boredom since he's got abandonement issues. With strangers, he prefers to not get too involved since he's socially awkward and wants to leave as soon as possible...like a ghost.

Strengths:
High endurance
High pain tolerance
Strategy

Weaknesses:

Underestimates most opponents
Easy to mess with his head
Lack of focus in most fights

Abilities:
Engineering
Strategy
Melee combat

Equipment:
Insulative and hydrophobic jacket
Gloves with hardened knuckles
THUNDERBALL (An 8-ball attached to a chain)
Night-vision goggles
Respirator mask

|| Superpowers ||
Powers:
Ectoplasm Synthesis- His adrenal glands have been given the extra function of synthesising ectoplasm to secrete into his blood flow. Ectoplasm is what ghosts are supposedly made of, and having a synthesised form in his blood allows him to use abilities commonly attributed to ghosts as his sub-powers, along with helping him stay calm, enhancing his senses and overall helping to maintain sanity if a substantial amount reaches his brain...as long as it’s synthesised properly. More on that topic later. Heavy use of his sub-powers results in more synthesised ectoplasm entering his blood, with high amounts causing his veins and eyes to glow blue. He doesn't actually know that the thing causing his powers is ectoplasm considering the fact that he doesn't even know ectoplasm is a thing let alone what it's properties are. Even if he knew what regular ectoplasm produces by ghosts looked like, it would still look different to his form of it since it's synthesised by a living body.
He can move around objects with his mind. The power is developed like a muscle, becoming more effective through practice.
He enters a state where electromagnetic waves, including visible light, do not interact with him which makes him invisible. This also means that he cannot be seen by other electromagnetic waves like Infra-red or X-rays.
Less of a power and more of a “thing that can happen” since the cons far outweigh the pros. If his adrenal glands were to become damaged in some way, it’s possible that the ectoplasm could be synthesised incorrectly. This results in a purple colour rather than blue. His telekinetics would become harder to restrain and using invisibility would make everyone appear like nightmarish phantom figures in his mind. If the improper ectoplasm hangs around his brain too much, it can have very negative effects such as sudden uncontrollable urges to self-harm, lapses in common sense, heightened aggression, and possibly a straight up crazed suicidal mentality.
Catalysts {O}: Glucose, intense emotional fluxes, adrenaline rushes

Blockages {O}: Fatigue, high pain, lack of self-confidence, hopelessness

Limits:
-He can't produce infinite amounts of ectoplasm. Much like how you need to drink water in order to keep sweating and avoid dehydration, he needs to consume high-energy substances like redbull or very sugary candy to help him produce excess amounts of ectoplasm when needed.

-Using telekinesis against objects that are too heavy can result in damage to himself, which extreme cases leading to bone fractures and internal bleeding.

-Invisibility can only last for 10 minutes at a time, with a 5 minute cooldown time

-Invisibility can be countered with Ultra-sound and Sonar systems

Occupation {O}: School student
Extra {O}: This is the most poltergeisty incarnation of poltergeist I have ever conceived, enjoy him.

My theme was wrathe like a ghost but I could go for death god. Honestly I'm just grabbing a powerful character before the next thousand shows up. I feel like him being this powerful is acceptable due to what he does, he wants to talk to people action wise he is pretty weak

No, you don't get it.. I'm not allowing death gods. Or gods of any kind. Characters are supposed to be at least a fair bit powerful, but they shouldn't be able to induce death in hundreds in the blink of an eye.

And no there won't be a Thousand here :P

Name:
Kenneth Reyes
Alias: God's Barrier
Nickname(s) {O}: Kenny
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Affiliation: Independent Villain (for now)
Appearance:
fa747a33b5ad13a4d62d78c8732f86b5.jpg

Height:
6'1
Weight: 170 lbs

|| Persona ||
Personality:
Kenneth is a mostly arrogant, annoyed, and pissed individual. This is due to his upbringing of being a perfectionist at heart. However, this doesn't mean he's anything different from regular people. He can still make friends, and will be extremely loyal to them to no end if they prove themselves as something worth keeping around, or someone being nice to. Kenneth also keeps a villain hierarchy in his basement, meaning he's very particular about things.
Strengths:
-High Pain Tolerance:
Kenneth's pain tolerance is seemingly infinite due to a passive manifestation of his barrier.
-Regulated Emotions: Kenneth is able to keep calm even under the most stressful of situations, even if he's under fire, or his power has been breached.
Weaknesses:
-Social Expectations:
Kenneth expects certain things out of human beings, and when they're not met he'll often find himself annoyed or doing something else to rectify an uncivil being rather than attempting to finish his original goals.
-Passive-Aggressive: Kenneth is incredibly passive-aggressive, giving him an unlikeable tone even in general talking. This is a serious flaw, meaning he's incapable of becoming a leader since he's hard to like.
Abilities:
-FIrearm Usage:
Despite having superpowers, his powers have limited offensive capability. That's why he's capable of using firearms to shore up his weaknesses.
-Prop Usage: Kenneth can only construct forcefields in a circular or spherical manner, meaning he has to use certain reflective chips to manipulate forcefields into other shapes. And he's very skilled with timing the tossing of these chips and shooting a forcefield into them.
Equipment:
(Pack of 10) Reflective Chips
(Pack of 2) Pistol Ammunition
(1) .50 Desert Eagle Pistol

|| Superpowers ||
Powers:
Force-Field Generation - Kenneth's power revolves around the generation of a powerful forcefield that is capable of blocking physical as well as energy attacks. The force-field is blue in color and causes distortions in the air.
  • Aversion Field - A passive manifestation of Kenneth's power is an aversion field, which averts incoming projectiles (not energy) into the downwards direction no matter where it comes from.
  • Dermal Armor - An active manifestation of Kenneth's forcefield is that the forcefield can be compressed against his skin and made invisible, giving him the appearance of having no powers until he's attacked.
  • Circular Shield - A high-energy manifestation of the forcefield, Kenneth forms a circular shield in front of him that is capable of disintegrating even the engine block of a semi-truck.
  • Dome - A lower energy manifestation of the forcefield, Kenneth is capable of surrounding all sides with a forcefield. While this doesn't have the ability to block a truck, it is still rather difficult to break.
Catalysts {O}:
  • Semiconductors - Specialized chips can cause forcefields to manifest in unlikely places that Kenneth normally cannot make them appear in.
  • Low Air Pressure - Under low pressure conditions, such as higher up or on top of a building, forcefields manifest much quicker.
Blockages {O}:
  • Dry Air - It takes longer for forcefields to manifest under heat or dryness.
  • Imbalance of Mind - When Kenneth is angry, pissed, or distressed, forcefields take MUCH longer to manifest. Aversion field and dermal armor will both fall apart at this time as well.
Limits: While the forcefield can be held up for an infinite amount of time, it is not unbreakable. Breaking a forcefield will cause a couple of things.
  • Internal Wounds - Since the forcefield connected to Kenneth, destroying a forcefield will cause him to bleed.
  • Recharge - After a forcefield is destroyed, the forcefield cannot be conjured up for another two minutes.
One-Track: The forcefield can only be manifested in one form. While the aversion field is up, no other forcefield can be generated. When a forcefield is generated, the aversion field is gone. When the dermal armor is present, there will be no forcefields or aversion fields.

He doesn't have any like abilities that he could do that with he moves as fast as a human and can only walk through 6 objects or attacks honestly if someone were to Sprint away from him the best he could do is run after them shouting "stop" someone with a pistol who is a good sprinter could take him

You will come to learn that she is always, always observing and always, always analyzing.

Soul Bind: Ari can connect her soul with anyone else's. The boundaries of what they can do all depend on their trust and their relationship. Ari isn't sure what exactly she can do, as she's never been this close to anyone. But WE can know what she can do, because we're safely behind the fourth wall. With no limitations, those soul binded (EVERYONE soul binded):
1. Can communicate with telepathy
2. Can gain temporary control of another
3. Can swap bodies (this would probably be more annoying than anything)
4. Can feel each other's feelings (pain, tickly feeling, pleasure, whatever)
5. Clairvoyance (see what someone else sees)
6. Audio-voyance??? (hear what someone else hears)
7. Seriously just sharing senses
8. Combining abilities

Some explaining:
When Ari controls Bob's hand, her own hand goes dead. When she controls his legs, her legs go dead. If Bob mentally resists, Ari won't be able to control him. If he doesn't (or if he's taken by surprise), she'll be able to control him.
Swapping bodies has to be COMPLETELY voluntary. Both parties have to be willing, and they cannot stop until they have completely swapped.
When Ari sees what Bob sees, she can't see through her own eyes.
When Ari hears what Bob hears, she can't hear through her own ears.
Ari can, however, feel through her own nerves and taste through her own tongue as well as through Bob's.
Combining abilities can be powers, strength, speed, etc etc...
Most of these can be toggled

Levels of friendship required for each ability...
To soul bind in general: You gotta at least know each other.
1: Immediately after soul binding
2: Close friends
3: CLOSE friends
4: You gotta like each other and have a small level of trust. Not quite friends, but not quite acquaintances.
5: You gotta like each other and have a small level of trust. Not quite friends, but not quite acquaintances.
6: You gotta like each other and have a small level of trust. Not quite friends, but not quite acquaintances.
7: You gotta like each other and have a small level of trust. Not quite friends, but not quite acquaintances.
8: Gotta be friends

Don't even think about lying about friendships, cause that ain't working.

is this too op

Catalysts
F R I E N D S H I P
3094225.png

also strong passionate feelings
Blockages
Lack of trust
Limits
I already listed most of them, but every ability takes some getting used to and using Soul Bind for too long causes exhaustion for all parties.
Basically you can stay Soul Binded, but it's best if you unbind at the end of the day.
The max amount of souls she can bind is four.
Josefina is the only one who can bind, but anyone can unbind. Unbinding requires a conscious decision to unbind. Only one party needs to do this. Or death. Death works.

Strengths: He can read and speak most known languages except Japanese, Chines, or Mongolian, He is an expert combatant with his syth and cloak, He can find ways to go almost anywhere without being seen directly.

I suppose this is actually okay because he isn't actually immortal. But just remember a skeleton is probably not going to be very strong. No muscles and all. Heh.

Height:

Weight:
88kg/194lbs

|| Persona ||
Personality:

Due to his appearance, many are surprised to find out that Derrick is a kind and considerate young man, who is a fierce fighter and values both honour and justice. As a dutiful man Derrick has made a vow to save whoever he can with the powers that he has been gifted, therefore he is not afraid to throw himself into harms way if it means saving the life of another. Derrick is extremely brave, willing to take on anyone no matter the situation and refuses to back down from a fight

When taken away from all the violence many consider Derrick to be a soft man with a good heart whose only wish is for the world to be just that much safer so that the citizens of Empire City can live their lives in peace and harmony. It is also worth noting that Derrick is very against any sort of hero association as he sees it as an easy way for justice to be corrupted and changed to better fit and help those with power.

Backstory :
Derrick was born into a small working class family which consisted of himself, his mother and his maternal grandfather. He did not know who his dad was, or where he was but for Derrick that did not matter. His mother and grandfather were there for him, that is all that mattered.

Growing up his mother struggled to provide them, as she worked multiple jobs to try and scrape enough earnings to get by Derrick was forced to learn how to look after himself. Growing up his mother was an inspiration to him but so was his grandfather, who was a veteran of the military and would tell stories to Derrick of his service. Growing up Derrick struggled to focus on his education, he was not a very intelligent boy and so found school difficult. However what Derrick lacked in some areas he was blessed in others, as a child born with superpowers Derrick would spend most of his time focused on training and developing not only his powers but also his body.

Derrick was encouraged to get into sports rather than academia by his guardians and so he began to train in a variety of mixed martial arts and football. It was not until Derrick dropped out of highschool that he would begin his life of crime fighting. To begin with he went no larger than muggers and petty crimes, but even as his powers developed and took on larger scale crimes and fought more powerful opponents he always preferred being a street level hero. He felt a closer connection to the people and felt like he was making more of an impact.

Strengths:
Brave:

Derrick never shies away from putting himself in personal danger, he is the kind of man to be the first into battle and the last to leave.
Kind:
Derrick is known to be compassionate and full of empathy, he is rather popular in his community and is well liked for his activities as a hero.
Just:
Derrick also has a well developed sense of justice and follows a strict moral code, this gives him a lot of respect among the hero community and even to some of the villains.

Weaknesses:
Intelligence:

Although considered to be a good and honest man... Derrick is not one someone would call smart, he dropped out of school with no qualifications and never really took on any proper academic education. He is also known to be rather rash and foolish at times as he is ignorant of many things.
Emotional:
Although big and tough in appearance, Derrick can sometimes struggle to compose himself when others are in danger, his temper is known to shoot off on its own at times which can cause Derrick to lose focus of his goal. He also does not handle seeing others in pain well and upon failure he is plagued with a guilty conscience. He always regrets that he is not able to save everyone and believes what he does is simply not enough.

Abilities:

Combat: Heavily trained and experienced in; boxing, tae kwon do, wrestling, judo, jiu jitsu and muay thai
Street Smarts: Derrick knows empire city like the back of his hand and uses this to his advantage in order to fight crime.
Excellent Driver: Derrick is exceptionally gifted at driving vehicles, whether they be cars, motorcycles or trucks. He is just as at home on the road than he is on his feet if not more. This skill also extends to boats, trains, planes, helicopters, ect. Although he is less experienced with vehicles off the road.

Equipment:
Motorcycle (just consider this to be so high quality it counts as 5)

|| Superpowers ||
Powers:
Electricity Manipulation:

User can create, shape and manipulate electricity, a form of energy resulting from the movement of charged particles (such as electrons or protons), allowing control over electric fields, all charge carriers (Ions, Electrons, Protons, and Positrons), electronics, and electromagnetic forces.
  • Electrical Aura: The user can release and surround themselves in/with electricity for defensive and/or offensive purposes.
  • Electrical Healing: The user can heal themselves or others by using electricity by absorbing the electrons and using them to stimulate molecules, renewing damaged cells. Electricity can also provide energy to reduce fatigue, allowing optimal health, as well as restarting the heart and helping to repair brain damage.
  • Electrokinetic Combat: The user is able to utilise electricity manipulation with physical combat, granting them impressive offensive capabilities. (Enhancing Strength, Speed, Agility and Reflexes through electricity.)
  • Electrical Immunity: User is immune to electricity, being completely invulnerable to direct and indirect effects.
  • Electricity Attacks: The user can release/use electricity to attacks of various shapes and/or intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks.
Limits:
Derrick is limited to generating 150 Million Volts at a single time.
His max for enhanced speed would be 270 MPH.

Approved. Not only is this approved, but

The message within this CS is a shining star. Not only did this individual come to me to get the powers refined, they also asked what was okay and what was not. Therefore, now we have a character that everyone can work with, and enjoy. Special thanks to Mion Mion for going through this somewhat excruciating motion and getting a full character out. You should all follow their example.

You will come to learn that she is always, always observing and always, always analyzing.

|| Superpowers ||
Powers
Soul Bind: Ari can connect her soul with anyone else's (4 is the max i guess i might change this number).

Inb4 the Heroes of Today try to recruit her and use her as a network for X-rate heroes.

You may want to specify some more limits, like if someone no longer wants to be soulbound to her, what can she or they do, etc. Though I think her powers are fine as it is

I suppose this is actually okay because he isn't actually immortal. But just remember a skeleton is probably not going to be very strong. No muscles and all. Heh.
Ok I'm done and I think he's about as strong as the average guy not Terribly so but not bad

Weaknesses:

Lonely: he will always go where company is promised, even if it isn't safe.

No transport other than his feet normally: he can't use public transportation normally, and he doesn't know how to drive so walking is normally his preferred form of transportation.

What I notice

He's undead at this point, but he can still die. So I'm getting a ghost, skeleton vibe from him.
He is virtually unable to deal with anyone with powers, since they fall under the category of "abhuman" and therefore he won't be using his powers on them.

Problems:

I said there are going to be up to 3 strengths for every 2 weaknesses. Those weaknesses you provided aren't even real weaknesses. He doesn't have to worry about things being "unsafe" since he's practically immortal anyways. He has 6 strengths and only 2 weaknesses, so, you would probably want to lower his strengths or add more REAL weaknesses.

I'm really iffy on accepting this character because there are only a very few number of people that I'd allow having this level of power in a character...so...as long as you don't go around killing swathes of people with his scythe then we're good.

Ok so how is being forced to walk every where unless accompanied by a abhuman not a weakness

|| Persona ||
Personality:
The most important person in Vicky’s life is Vicky. She does what she wants when she wants, and anyone that tries to stop her better be prepared for the smack down of a lifetime. Her own wishes come before the wellbeing of others, to the point where most find her unreliable at best and a downright hazard at worst. She is unbelievably persistent when she works toward a goal, though her interests tend to revolve more around people than things. It doesn’t happen often, but the things that tend to motivate her more than anything else is the desire to help out people she finds interesting, even if their goals aren’t something she’d normally be interested in.

She’s energetic and persistently cheerful, even when a situation calls for a more serious attitude. Tending to treat everything like a game, she can easily become infuriating to her opponents, especially when what they’re fighting over is important to them. She is rather intelligent, though it never really shows through since planning is for people with no sense of fun. Because of that she’s straightforward and is rarely manipulative, preferring to brute force her way through obstacles.

Weirdly enough, Vicky very much appreciates consistency in other people. Due to her own nature, she finds it incredibly strange that people would not only set rules for themselves but also follow them regardless of the situation. If she can easily figure out why someone is doing what they’re doing, and then also accurately use that information to predict how they might react to a different situation, she’s more likely to want to stick around. This is partly because she subconsciously wishes for a constant in her own life, since she could never be one for herself, and partly because she highly respects people who know who they are without fail.

Backstory {O}: Always a bit of a strange child, Vicky never had many friends growing up. She often came off as creepy due to strange habits and impulsiveness, causing others to keep their distance. This never bothered her much however, and she lived her early years in relative normalcy. Fortunately, her powers didn’t start to really get out of hand until after she was already out on her own, and by then she’d already forged a strong enough sense of self it didn’t really matter to her. She tried to go to college for a few semesters and actually did pretty well, but her general strangeness made it hard for her to really settle down. Quitting, she took up self-study, finding it much more pleasant to learn whatever at her own pace. Currently she works a variety of odd jobs, whatever happens to strike her fancy, less for the money and more because the jobs seem cool. When she sees something she likes, she’s just as likely to buy or steal it, though what she goes after can change on a dime so no one’s been able to catch her yet.

Strengths:

Unpredictable – Changing up tactics and targets on a whim keeps her opponents on their toes, it also keeps her enemies from figuring out where she’s going to strike next

High Pain Tolerance – Injuries are all part of the thrill for her. If she gets hurt, it just proves her opponent is worth fighting and makes her want to keep going.

Extensive Combat Experience – Her impulsiveness gets her into fights a lot, sometimes with regular civilians, sometimes with heroes, and sometimes with other villains. She likes fighting, it’s fun, and she’s got lots of practice

Weaknesses:

Ignores her limits – Even when she’s lost so much blood she should be unconscious, or has broken too many bones to move without excruciating pain, it only makes her want to keep going more. A fight with a strong opponent can often take a fatal turn because the thrill makes her forget her body can only take so much.

Doesn’t plan – Her goals can change on a dime, making any kind of planning useless, so she just doesn’t bother. It more often than not lands her in situations she doesn’t know how to get out of, or can cause her to end up in more confrontations than she otherwise would have. It makes her fall back on brute force, usually because it works, but sometimes pure strength isn’t enough.

Easily distracted and unfocused – She’ll drop everything in an instant as easily as a bird can fly by. She forgets what she’s doing or why she wanted to go someplace as soon as something more interesting comes along, even if the current situation is dire.

Abilities:

Deceptively high speed and strength – She’s small, and because of that, people tend to underestimate her. Years of all kinds of fights have filled out her small frame with dense muscle, and her generally low mass makes her faster than most people expect.

Uniquely developed fighting style – While Vicky was never formally trained to do anything, she has developed her own sense of what works in a fight and what doesn’t, and even has multiple different styles depending on how strong someone is compared to her.

Unnerving personality – Most people don’t know what to make of her. Her priorities are more ball-shaped than any kind of recognizable list and it’s hard to figure out how she’s going to react to something. As a result, folks generally just give her what she wants. If it’ll mean getting away from her sooner it’s worth it.

Equipment:

An empty backpack, for carrying things she finds when she’s out. Does she even really need anything else.

Fire manipulation – Only her own though

Handyman/assistant/hired help for basically everything. If she doesn’t know how to help you, she’ll figure it out.

Approved.

I'll approve this on a probationary basis. Meaning if I see it getting too overpowered I will ask for a legitimate nerf.
