Alexander Nikolayevich. ❞
His Imperial Highness the Successor Tsesarevich and Grand Duke of All the Russians. Heir to Rome.
❝ Basics. ❞

full name— Alexander Nikolayevich
nickname(s)— Alexi.
gender— Male
age— 20.
sexuality— Homosexual.
nation— The Russian Empire.
titles— Tsesarevich, Duke of Belarus.
ethnicity— Russian.

❝ Biography. ❞

Alexander was born to Tsar Nicholas III and Empress Désirée of Sweden, their second son and third child. The birth came as somewhat a surprise to the family, as the Empress and her husband had been publicly estranged for a significant period of time. Though of course the tabloids threw around their doubts, they were quickly dismissed. The birth prompted the pair to settle their differences, a divorce following soon after. A rather amicable one, by the standards of such things. It was messy for all involved, and what could of been a joyous affair became tainted with the Imperial family suffering for it.

In comparison to his brother, Konstantin, there was not too much responsibility on the young Alexanders shoulders. Due to the drama with his mother, his father mostly kept him out of the spotlight, hiding him away. It was peaceful, in some respects, with his time spent between tutors at the Peterhof Palace and with his mother in what was essentially normal suburban life. The custody arrangement allowing him to live in two worlds.

By the time he had reached an age of maturity, his life was spent away from the royal side of his life. Abdicating that side of himself in favour of something more normal. He had his own apartment in Paris and attended École Polytechnique for higher education. The independence was exhilarating for him. His days and nights were filled with nightclubs and drunken fights. Liberation. Yet as all good things tended to do, it came to an end.

Konstantin had been involved in a car crash. He did not make it out.

Alexander was summoned back to Moscow for the funeral, and he never left. The titles associated with the heir to the Russian throne were conferred upon him and his duty made clear. He would one day be Tsar of Russia.

He did not embrace these duties well. The conflicting nature of a human and a monarch clawing at him day and night.

He does his best to do his job, his responsibility, but in doing so he can't help but feel he has lost himself. In more ways than one.

Scandal: Rumor's circulate throughout the press that Alexi is in fact gay. Whilst there is no concrete proof of this, newspapers often dig up stories from his time in Paris.

❝ relationships. ❞

Désirée— His relationship with his mother is by far his most prominent. She has taken on a somewhat "common" role ever since her divorce, and she is more than aware of his concerns and his thoughts.
Nicholas— His father is a stubborn man. Alexander has no great animosity toward the man, but in turn no great affection either. He is obsessed with keeping his crown, and has been since the restoration.
Konstantin— The death of his brother impacted Alexander deeply. They were close in their youth, and remained so up until the end, even with the estrangement. His death was unexpected, and in some ways, quite unfairly, Alexander blames him for being so selfish.

❝ psyche. ❞

vices— irresponsible, distracted, conflicted
virtues— charismatic, sociable, intelligent
fatal flaw— dismissiveness
fears— judgement, hatred, suffocation
dreams— independence, faith, beaches
personality— Alexander is an outgoing man, ever eager to smile and shake a hand. Ever eager to go out for a night, or have some fun. It's in everything he does. The power to simply speak to others as equals is the thing he desires the most, needing the oxygen to bounce off. In response to the trappings of royal life, he has swung in the opposite direction, almost abandoning responsibility and good reasoned duty. He is someone stuck between two worlds he was forced into from birth. The ability to reconcile those two sides of him is beyond him, and they fight in him like a tropical storm. The outcome of which has yet to be determined.

❝ visage. ❞

Height: 6'0"
Weight: 153lbs
Build: lithe
Eye Color: blue
Skin Tone: pale
Hair: brown
Face: Andrey Martynov

Crowned Princess of Ukraine

Basic:
Name: Alina Aleksandria Volk (Lina or Aleks)
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Title: Crowned Princess
Nation: Ukraine
Ethnicity: Caucasian

Appearance:
Height: 5'5
Weight: 120 lbs
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Brown
Face Claim: Katerina Sitak
>Most have told Alina that her expressive eyes are her most defining feature.

Psychology:
Sexuality: Asexual
Virtues: Brave, Friendly, Ambitious, Charismatic
Vices: Stubborn, Insecure, Sleeps in (a lot)
Fatal Flaw: Excessive Curiosity
Fears: Ruling, her father, thunderstorms

History:
Alina Aleksandria Volk was born October 30th in the Mariyinsky Palace in Ukraine. She was the only child to Queen Yulia Marie Volk and King Dmytro Evhen Volk. As the only child she knew from a young age what her future held. She was to grow up, marry some prince, and rule over her country. This had been made clear to Alina at the young age of five, when she overheard her parents discussing her future. Alina strongly disliked the idea of having one path in life, and, throughout her childhood, she rebelled the idea of ruling, much to her parents dismay.Instead of studying, Alina explored the palace, learning all the secrets held within the walls. When she wasn't exploring the palace, Alina was out on the grounds helping the staff with the jobs. Because of this she had gained respect among the servents, who would later help her to sneak out beyond the palace walls.

As she grew older, Alina got bored. She was tired of constantly being locked away and treated as a prize to some man. Alina had made the discion to break free of her parents control and explore beyond the palace. Afterall, how was she expected to rule when she had never met her people? With the help of the servents, Alina donned many disgues and snuck out into town. It was there she learned of her parents poor rulings. The people were displeased with how they were being treated, and, in some cases weren't happy about Alina's future rule. They feared she'd make the same mistakes as her parents. Their talk only added to Alina's anxieties, making her less and less thrilled about inheriting a crown.

Though Alina didn't want to rule, she was aware it was the only choice as the only child. So, she cut back on the sneaking out, deciding to use the time to study up on her lessons. Her hard work payed off in the end as her parents were thrilled to see their daughter finally taking her title seriously. Alina was never excited to rule, and she doubted she ever would be. But she became content with her future, wanting nothing more than to make her people happy.

From the outside, the Volks were untouchable. The King and Queen were happy, and their daughter was working hard to inherit the crown. No one would have ever guessed anything could go wrong. Until it did. One cold December morning, Alina was woken by one of the maids. She learned that her mother had passed away the night before. Her father made the announcement of the Queens passing that afternoon, leaving the country heartbroken.

Alina was confused though, her mother had been fine the night before so there was no reason for her sudden death. Not one to let things go unsolved, Alina began digging. It wasn't long until she discovered the truth, Queen Yulia had been murdered by her own husband. After that day, Alina was weary around her father. She knew that if word got out their image would be destroyed, but she could never understand why he had done such a thing.

To distract herself, Alina resumed her old habits. She began sneaking into the town more often, now going further into her country. Though she still excelled in her lessons, her heart had been closed up. Alina was back to square one of not even wanting to look at the crown that would one day be on her head.

Scandal:
The King murdered his wife in cold blood, but covered it up as a sickness that finally got her.

Extra:
Alina enjoys ballet and musicals.
She always smells like vanilla and honey.

【Dreams】— Living the Hollywood lifestyle without any kind of responsibility.
【Personality】— Irresponsible and lazy, Rudy has shirked any responsibilities that he had ever been given from an incredibly young age, and refuses to be blamed for his actions, even when it is quite clear that he is the one in the wrong. As a newly minted Hollywood Star, many of the eccentricities that he had been condemned for as a Royal are now lauded as brave and rebellious against an old fashioned, and outdated system, and he will often play into this persona of a rebel standing up for himself, even if he still largely benefits from the privilege of his youth. Rudy has an incredibly charitable opinion of himself, with a large ego, though he is also incredibly social by nature, loving to meet new people, especially in the form of any kind of social gathering or party.

History
【Biography】
Though Kronprinz Rudolf was born to the traditional royal fanfare at the Palace of Hofburg in Vienna, he has often contemplated that his life didn’t truly start until much later on, when he had finally shed the pretentious and rambunctious company of his noble peers, and instead carved an equally ostentatious, though largely less respectable niche of his own. A civil union between the two greatest houses of them all: the blue blooded aristocrat, and the new-age Hollywood star.

As a boy there was little to say about the young Prince, his youth collected and documented as a series of photo opportunities with his most noble parents in the tabloids. Publicly, he would be seen going to church with his mother, or accompanying his father to the christening of a new vessel for the Imperial Navy, though whilst the papers might trip over themselves attempting to guess which shade of black the Prince might wear to the next royal function, such trivialities of pageantry never really concerned Rudy very much. A blatant disrespect for the series of traditions and formalities that made up the backbone for modern royalty.

Lazy, is what some might call it: entitlement. A boy uninterested in carrying out his royal duties, whilst still more than willing to indulge in all of the luxuries brought about by his heightened station, disrespectful to the very notion of monarchy itself. At the time, some royal scholars had argued that Rudy would merely grow out of such tendencies with age, and that the Kaiser would help to mould Rudy’s character into something much more befitting a Royal Prince, those folks simply had too nostalgic a view of the Prince’s father.

In many ways, Kaiser Leopold III was the perfect leader for a nation such as Austria-Hungary, a country of great contrasts and divide. To the Kaiser, being inoffensive is very much an artform: almost a way of life, and the popularity of the House of Habsburg had benefited greatly from this middle-of-the-road approach to Kingship, never alienating any one side too much. Always treading the line. Some might have assumed that this was merely a public facade in order to remain in the good graces of the press, though those that knew the Kaiser well understood that this wasn’t the case. At his heart, Kaiser Leopold was a people pleaser, not wanting to upset anyone, or cause distress or harm to others. The same notions that he applied to his country, he also applied to his kin: practically allowing his son to walk all over himself and his legacy without real repercussions.

As he grew older, the Kronprinz’s disrespect only seemed to grow. He had refused to enroll in a Naval Academy as his father had wished, and instead spent the majority of his time engaging in recreational activities with much frivolity and not much value. The tabloids seemed to adore him, for he provided them with endless content to plaster across their front pages, though those with a greater interest in royal activities thought that instead he would be the end of centuries of Habsburg rule in Austria.

Some have argued that these scandals were the reason that at eighteen, Rudy was sent off to America, to study at the University of Stanford in California, though others would say that the Kaiser would never be bold enough to send off his son in such a dramatic fashion. Whatever the case, Rudy would only spend about five months pursuing his education in the states before the next flight of fancy took ahold of him, though this one seemed to have developed a much greater hold upon the young prince than the hobbies of the past.

At Stanford, Rudy’s roommate was an aspiring actor, from a long lineage of that same profession and upon one fateful occasion, the Kronprinz had accompanied this friend to an open audition. Of course the filmstaff were greatly honoured to have a real life prince amongst their midst, and in the end it took very little persuasion to convince Rudy to audition for the role himself. He managed to wow the casting agent (or at least, his extensive titles did) and was immediately given his first role as a leading man. The real start of his life.

Not long after that, Rudy dropped out of Stanford in order to pursue acting full time, an event which rocked the Vienna papers at the time. Publicly, the Kaiser made no comments about this, and privately father and son never discussed this sudden change, a massive awkward cloud hanging above them whenever the Prince would phone home.

It was almost overnight that Rudy adapted to the life of a star, much more akin to the life of frivolity that he wanted to live, than all of the duties that came with being an official royal of a whole country. He would star in several more movies, and even take part in talk show interviews, and promote himself under the credit: ‘Kronprinz Rudolf.’ Where the Austrians had had mixed opinions about the Prince, the American market seemingly loved him, enamoured with the idea of the scandalous and wayward prince-turned-star.
【Scandal】 Kronprinz Rudolf hasn’t been back to Austria since his last visit in 2019, and there are many that say that despite milking his royal lineage for fame, he has forgotten his roots. There is a very famous clip from Stephen Colbert in 2018 in which Rudy failed to locate Bohemia on a map, despite that being a part of his father’s realm.

Relationships
【Kaiser Leopold
Rudy's relationship with his father is fine. They will still talk over the phone on a semi-regular basis, and Leopold has never uttered any words of scorn against his son, no matter how far Rudy veers from what is traditionally expected of a royal. Despite this, there is a lot of unaddressed tension and awkwardness between the two, that neither is willing to talk about. It is almost as if both men seemed to think that if they ignore their issues for long enough, they will simply cease to exist.

BASICS
Name:
Heinrich Wilhelm Konrad Hohenzollern VIII
Nickname(s): Rich, Henry
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Title: Crown Prince, Fürst, Grand Duke of Baden-Württemberg, Hereditary Heir to Prussia
Nation: The German Empire
Ethnicity: German

APPEARANCE
Eyes:
Blue
Hair: Dark blond
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 195 lbs

A hulking man of broad build and honed muscle, Heinrich cuts an intimidating figure out on the pitch and likewise in court. Nothing about the sombre Heir speaks softly, from his rumbling bass of a voice to the calloused palms that ensure a rough albeit steady grip. Dark brow and austere expression exhibit a soldier's surly nature, professionally bad-tempered with a wry smile; the kind that dances upon the lips or precursors biting insult. Blond, near-brown hair remains cropped and well-groomed, bearded jaw emphasising high cheekbones and angular, almost scholarly nose. A heavy signet ring bearing the Hohenzollern arms weighs on Rich’s right hand, often dressed in high-collared formal wear or clothes that have a plain, warm motif. Though glaringly, it's a well-known fact he's missing his left leg.

Body Modifications: N/A
Physical Disabilities: Heinrich's leg is amputated below the knee, requiring a prosthesis or crutch.
Distinguishing Features: A thick mane of hair with prominent curl, heavy brow and intense eyes.
Faceclaim: Kivanc Tatlitug

PSYCHOLOGY
Sexuality:
Heterosexual
Vices: Brazen, Obsessive, Cynical, Obstinate, Impulsive
Virtues: Modest, Courteous, Assertive, Undaunted

Personality:
Presenting a cold front, Heinrich is unusually charming in relation to his dour expression; though that may just be his resting face. As far as first appearances go, one may note the German Prince still holds much of his mischievous quintessence, playing off of people with a sincere sarcasm, wry jokes, and dry humoured attitude. That and his ever-persistent adventurous spirit which is easily persuaded to join in on grand schemes, great escapes and late-night capers - no matter how vehemently he denies it. For all his natural spite and grump, Rich has true grit and determination which carries over to his friends and companions with extreme loyalty and brazen defence.

Between his better traits, as a humble and understanding figurehead, Heinrich suffers by his anger greatly. A persistent and growing problem since youth and emphasised from active service, his blood runs hot. Impassioned, incensed and often seeing red, getting in and out of arguments looks to be his favourite hobby. Whether or not they become physical altercations is an often fine line he tries not to cross, especially in the years since his incident. However, siblings and friends like to push his buttons over far less serious qualms.

The Crown Prince, regardless of sin and preferred vices; smoking, morning whiskeys, and avoiding truth, is surprisingly soft and devoted at heart. Much like his father, he’d do anything to protect those he loves - anything to protect the family. An intense man to his core, whether or not he decides to devote his time and energy can be counted on through the full and unflinching attention offered.

Dreams/Aspirations: Engage more veteran charities, succeed his father, and support apprenticeship programs for young disenfranchised students.
Fears: Bringing his father to further shame and that one day, people may call him hero for the lives taken abroad; murderer for the one taken at home.
Fatal Flaw: Hot-headed, aggressive temper

HISTORY
I. Birth & Childhood

Born to Kaiser Georg Friedrich I and Kaiserin Sophie Johanna Maria in the late summer of 1994, Heinrich would be the first child of four. Groomed to be an heir from the cradle and sought to chase family legacies, he was a rambunctious youth of adventure and wargames, being never one to sit still and study but rather preferred sports and getting into more trouble than he could handle. From the ages of 5-9, he was placed into private nurseries and homeschooled under numerous tutors, nannies, and attending staff. Yet, once considered old enough, Prince Heinrich found himself shuttled off to Schule Schloss Salem boarding school.

Due to a growing distance from his father, younger siblings taking up more space in his parent's eyes and pressured by harsh expectation, Heinrich developed a taste for real mischief. Nothing like the runabouts he used to set palace attendants on, but genuine disruptive behaviour. The crown prince has always lacked an academic mind and often fell behind in his studies due to a series of learning difficulties and short attention span but excelled in sports and hands-on activities.

Not wanting to let him disappear completely through the cracks, both boarding school and his parents put him into further classes, helping to scrape past and attend Glenalmond College for A-levels in Scotland. Unfortunately, his deviancy would continue into his college years and he was reprimanded for smoking, alcohol, driving dangerously, and one settled dispute over apparent cattle-rustling while under the influence.

II. The Military Years
Overshadowed by his younger brother in terms of academic excellence, lost in what he ought to pursue and viewed as something of a layabout, Heinrich did what he knew best. Following in grand footsteps of past monarchs and settling on the army. Taking a brief stint at Bundeswehr Command and Staff College, Heinrich joined an undisclosed Panzergrenadier unit serving his first tour into active service of which his father tremendously approved - having been a military man himself. Rigorous training, fair treatment and slumming it with people from all walks of life, the German heir was thoroughly changed for the better.

Unfortunately, he signed into being treated as a soldier and all potentially deadly scenarios that may carry. Accompanied by a special forces commando with Rich’s best-kept secret being his whereabouts in high conflict zones, what happened in that firefight was a cruel turn of bad luck. Hitting a landmine, their tank was thrown while guiding it to safety.

Heinrich had his leg caught in the turret gear, believing it was broken until he pulled it away to assist other wounded members of the crew - where the limb was discovered to be degloved and mangled. Immediately evacuated to the nearest field hospital, stabilised and having what was left of his leg removed; as well as managing to save his remaining joint, Rich would be flown home and discharged with honours. German surgeons commenced his physiotherapy after months of recuperation, regaining the ability to walk unaided via prosthesis. Meanwhile, the news story broke international headlines.

He would be awarded the Combat Action Medal by his father, but for some years afterwards, avoided public events and ceremonies with much of his whereabouts and mental health disputed.

III. Scandal
Even after his amputation, Heinrich would go on to pursue his love for sports behind closed doors at the family’s country estates. Particularly favouring equestrianism, the crown prince had once said it helped clear his mind. A mind which was full of heavy copper scent, crackling radios, and numb agony. He had believed his next years to be calm, collected - to inherit the imperial throne without another front-page debacle. However, fate dislikes being made a fool of when it comes to promises and demands.

He would often visit one of his close private school friends for, as boys do, shooting clay pigeons and discussing what the future held. Engagement was on that little Lord’s mind, though he’d never ask the question. Heinrich fought with him, their wildly differing political views a cause of contention, though perhaps it was a girl they were conflicted over. Money? Land? Who knows? In the heat of the moment, Heinrich had a gun in his hand.

For a Banker’s son, his blood was redder than any he’d ever seen.

The royal family did what they must to protect their own, but a witness had been out that night. They covered it up as suicide, Heinrich parroting alibis, whereby a note was uncovered detailing the reasons of such tragedy. Even his body was found far in the woodland, undetected for days, and nothing could point to otherwise. After all, Heinrich had supposedly left seeing him alive and well.

A correspondence soon began, nevertheless, blackmail. The royal household initially refused but few details were leaked, questioning the authenticity of Heinrich’s whereabouts and intentions that night, drawing all eyes back to the veteran. Questioning how unstable he truly was. Then, the payments started. He hasn’t looked his father in the eye since.

IIII. A Place in this World
Adrift. Lost. Somewhere between neither here nor there, loved and hated. Grieving but angry. Guilt weighs on his soul and as a born Protestant, sees no way of removing it. Preparing for ascension to the throne is difficult, relationship with his predecessor strained, and his siblings have no idea what he's put on the line.

Public Reputation: Viewed as a valiant war veteran, though in recent times has come under suspicion for his link to the apparent suicide of an old friend.

EXTRA
Favourite Dessert:
Bienenstich, a german dessert of sweet yeast dough, caramelised almonds and cream filling.
Theme Song: Fleurie - Soldier

Dauphine de France
I am, like, begging for you baby, makes you wanna party, wanna wake up, baby, it's violence
01. basics.
Name: Antoinette Estelle Marie Celene Bourbon-Orléans

Nicknames: An, Anne, Netty (she prefers no nicknames)

Titles: Her Royal Highness Mademoiselle la Dauphine, Princess, Duchess d'Orléans, Mademoiselle

Age: 26

Nation: Kingdom of France

Gender: Cis Female

Ethnicity: French

02. appearance.

Height: 5'4"

Weight: 135lbs

Build: Lean, Mesomorph

Eye Colour: Hazel

Skin Tone: Medium-Light Olive

Hair Colour: Dark Brown

Defining Features: Near ever-present smirk, unyielding eye contact and naturally curly hair (without product or heat)

Misc: Big fan of wearing tall heels (refuses to be the shortest person anywhere), great posture, hidden tattoo of a small sparrow on her left shoulder blade

Face Claim: Beren Saat

03. psychology.
Sexuality: Pansexual

Personality: Afforded the privilege of being the middle child of a rather small pool of daughters, Antoinette was always desperate for attention and validation. While she was coddled in her youth, and this is evident in her behaviour toward her mother and other female figures that she cares for, an element of insecurity lingers beneath the surface of security. At one point she was always the mediator between her eldest sister and her youngest, but that has now dissolved into a sense of self-righteousness, pardoned by her own self awareness that even though her actions are either malevolent or selfish, they are her choice and therefore the right one. She's terrible at taking accountability, though with enough poking and prodding and general grandstanding you might elicit a sincere enough reaction. Antoinette is aware of what awaits her, and what her responsibilities are, but she is very easily taken over by vice and laziness-- until you question or debate or about it, that is. She will fight tooth and nail to show someone up, especially if what they are saying about her is correct. There's nothing that Antoinette wants to protect most than her own public appearance, although that's been slowly tarnished by her own licentious behaviour anyway.

The Dauphine is flirty, coy and a mixture of serious intention and half-joking implications. She keeps rather light-hearted, especially in more serious moments, and is known to laugh in the face of sincerity, unfortunately. Not that she entirely means to, but a certain disconnect exists for Antoinette between the people she interacts with and her own over-thinking about their impression and their usefulness to her. One wouldn't think that the lazy, attention-seeking middle child of the King of France would have any considerate thoughts in her head, but surprisingly she is quite aware. It's a matter of her using that awareness for good, rather than her own good.

Beneath the bubbly, smiley exterior is an angry, frustrated core. Along with that overthinking comes severe doubt, deprecation and fear that often gets smothered beneath fine gowns and jewels. Though rare to see, there is a certain rage to Antoinette that speaks to her occasional rudeness. It's not intentional, she's just French. The anger is something else, however, and thankfully only triggered by repeated jabs or a personal vengeance she may have against someone. The bitter, petty layer to the Dauphine is unstoppable and only motivated by getting back at someone. If it means getting personal, and sometimes too personal she will do it. Will she regret it afterward? No. Will she regret it in a week, after staring in the mirror for too long and noticing a small flaw? Definitely.

Dreams/Aspirations: Now that the pressure is on she's convinced herself that she's going to amount to something really great for the sake of the kingdom, be it by marriage or by some self-made conquest (though she's far from being any kind of combatant). If all things pan out, Antoinette dreams of both luxury and decadence, all without the pressure of bearing responsibilities. Family making is not on the menu, but maybe if the right person exists, she does dream of having someone to truly rely on and depend upon in times of trouble.

Fears: Eventual death of her Father, Commitment (in all forms, particularly duty or relationship related), Failing on promises made and those vowed to be kept.

Fatal Flaw: While most would contest it is her hidden scarlet shades of anger and lust, it is really a severe cowardice. Not latching onto any one commitment in fear of many things, and in consequence, running when the tides get high.

04. backstory.
Bio:
I. Childhood
Born middle child to King Auguste and Queen Charlotte, Antoinette was another daughter-- and though not unwelcome, a severe disappointment to her father's ego. At that point he'd figured that a son would be inevitable, of course, though the Queen couldn't care less what her children were. She cared for Antoinette and her elder sister, Adrienne, with all that she could. Queen Charlotte was always far more hands-on with her role in the regency as well as raising their children. While there were nannies and tutors, of course, most of the care came from their mother entirely. Adrienne and Antoinette were only ten months apart, and nearly twins at that point in mannerisms and dependency. Only about two years or so after Antoinette's birth did their youngest sister, Thérèse, come into the world-- a third girl, and perhaps a curse to King Auguste. He knew better than to blame his wife, or perhaps his own seed, but it did not stop the man from displaying his disapproval. He tried, in front of Charlotte, but in private he paid little attention to his daughters. They would pull each others dresses and hair to get close to their father, who would simply lock the door to his private quarters, leaving the three to bicker over who was to blame.

Charlotte tried to convey the reasoning to her daughters, but the impact was clear enough. It was Thérèse's birth that was the complicated, near-death experience for their mother, who had sworn off having any more children to protect her own life. The King had obliged, of course, but the lack of a son weighed heavily on his mind. For the first five years, he traveled and busied himself to avoid his family. Indeed, being King had a lot of roles-- especially with the intertwined political system that France had adopted-- and it was a legitimate excuse for some time. Eventually, when Antoinette was about eight, he made an effort to be more active.

Adrienne, Antoinette and Thérèse managed to get into their own trouble from a young age. Like the three facets of one's psyche, they represented their own patron saints of mischief. Adrienne was the morality, of course, with her oldest wisdom and her graceful demeanor. Thérèse was a spitfire in her own way, often clashing with Adrienne. Antoinette, as vivacious as she was in her youth, always ended up mediating these fights. Rather than accept bruised cheeks and bruised egos, Antoinette would try to compromise. She was a dreamer, an idealist and resourceful even as a child. Her disposition was much kinder, though there was always an edge of something else. She had little opportunity to capitalize on it, circumventing her own feelings in order to make sure her younger sister was not attacked too harshly by Adrienne. Since she was in line for the throne next, by the time that she was just barely out of her girlhood, she was whisked away to shadow her father in the workplace. This left Antoinette and Thérèse, who by themselves, managed to get into very little trouble.

They still managed, however.

Visiting princes and dukes and other nobility often made the girls giggle and gossip to each other, but for a long time they didn't even think much of it. Their mother and father lectured the girls on skipping out on public events, but they were young and naive. By thirteen, Antoinette began to gain eyes from the other boys her age, which made Thérèse jealous. Perhaps it was due to always feeling as if her own identity was stolen by Thérèse, but once those times came, Antoinette happily pushed her sister to the sidelines in order to claim her true self.
II. Teen years
Springtime came, and with it the summer of Antoinette's fourteenth birthday. She would recall that one especially, from the first kiss she experienced in the Versailles gardens, to the general sense of growing up that she was excited for. New attention was turning her way, and with it a new way of looking at the world. While she continued to learn more about being a Princess, she also discovered that she didn't have to think about the throne with Adrienne set as the Dauphine of her time. Taking that in stride, Antoinette acquainted herself with the luxuries of life. She slacked during her lessons, babbled away on her phone to friends, and was caught smoking once or twice on her bedroom balcony. No one could quite trace why Antoinette was acting out, while even Thérèse was shaping up on her own time. The youngest was proving to be a musical prodigy, her piano skills above extraordinary and her singing voice something else indeed. Antoinette supported her sister-- of course she did. Unfortunately that was where the interest ended, with Antoinette giving her bare minimum in favour of galavanting around.

Adrienne would occasionally try to impart wisdom on her sister, but Antoinette could recognize the words as careful scripts from their mother and father. It only made the girl lash out more, and become enveloped in her own greed and fear. In truth, Antoinette was growing worried-- that growing old, and maturing came with duties that were impossible. Despite being one of the Princesses, she happily found her way out of the chateau and off into the countryside with friends, crashing and pretending she wasn't a royal at all. She met a few romantic interests at these events. Once sixteen rolled around, she was fully into this new lifestyle of hers. While her parents had tried to intervene, Antoinette would shake them away. She was eighteen when they broke the news that Adrienne was sick. She'd been diagnosed with Lupus, one of those late stage discoveries. There was still hope, however, so only brief worry was placed on the girl. Antoinette had only worried in the brief moment that she had no idea with the disease was.

With the weight on her consciousness, Antoinette continued to flirt about and wander. Escapism came in the form of sneaking out to Paris, going to underground clubs and drinking wine til she was cross eyed. Her parents had brought up the idea of engagements, for her future, but Antoinette'd done all but reject them flat out. She'd entertain the engagement for a bit, usually in the dating phase, and then leave them cold on the ground. Finding it amusing was an understatement; Antoinette loved the power trip that came with being desirable and sought after. Not all cases were the same however, which slowly but surely encouraged her toward being a little more flexible with her rights.

Her first big engagement was to a Duke, just to keep land affairs undisturbed, but Antoinette had ruined the whole thing by becoming very close with the Duke's sister, and well... things happened, and the man was mad. Another time after she'd gotten tangled with a married Count, sleeping with him and delighting in the gifts of jewelry he gave her, only to receive a very angry letter from his wife. Rather than be ashamed or embarrassed, all of Antoinette's attempts for attention had finally culminated to a lustful display of extending her power and reach. She became obsessed with her newfound prescription to life.

Her parents were... mad was to put it plainly-- they were enraged. Once the laundry list of Antoinette's transgressions against fellow politicians, royalty and important figures' kids began to add up, there were forced to make drastic decisions.
III. Early Adulthood
As soon as she reached her twenties, Antoinette was given Duchy of the family home in Orléans-- a good reason to duck her head in shame and avoid any further contact. It was also, according to her father, a good way of instilling a bit of responsibility and duty into her. She ran the house, or so they thought, but in reality she shirked all the duties to the cousin that was currently holding the home. Being free of most of the family's watchful eye lead Antoinette to establishing most of her public representation, attending events and dinners, weddings and press circuits. She'd always have some new beau on her arm, if not for sake of company then for another type of company as well. In this situation she kept her dates to high profile celebrities and the like rather than actual members of nobility or politicians, on the severe instruction of her father due to the mounting pressure of allegations of ruining a handful of marriages and important liasions.

In the last few years, Adrienne's health took a turn for the worse. Fearing the worse, Antoinette was relocated back to the palace, and back up plans were set into place to prepare her for the role of heir. With all the luxury and laziness ripped away, Antoinette very nearly rebelled against it all. She was half tempted, but seeing her ill sister made her rethink everything. Sitting at the side of the bed, holding her older sister's feeble hand, Antoinette was forced to think about all she'd amounted to in the last twenty four years. Nothing. She'd been so obsessed with threading herself into the private affairs of others, with little regard, and hardly spent a moment to cultivate herself. She felt ashamed, truly, for the first time.

It was worse when Adrienne finally passed. While old habits were hard to shake, there was a new part of Antoinette that was realized that evening. She was going to achieve greatness, bar all the past transgressions, for the good of her country and her family.

Scandal: Although they've been steadily leaking over the years, Antoinette is generally hated by the fellow nobility of France (a few other countries possibly) for her licentious and lustful relationships with several of their engaged sons (and a few daughters). They've villainized her to the point that if this were to break fully to the media, it could damage her eventual ascension to the throne (as well as tarnishing her reputation to the point of social ruin). As much as she hates the power that this holds over her, and refuses to accept it as a bad thing, she is fully aware of the way that scandal attaches itself to a sexual, unmarried woman. The reason none of this makes the media, however, is due to several promises that her Father has stored in with the fellow nobility-- but should he die (which may be soon, unfortunately), it's up to Antoinette to forge those bonds of trust alone.

Public Reputation: For the most part she is well-liked, though the rumours that spread about her private life add an air of mystery and fear to her person. Antoinette does enough for the people that it tends to overwhelm the negative reviews, but the cameras that snap are far too close for comfort these days. She attends almost all public events, dressed impeccably, and makes sure to show her support for allied countries. She's known as a flirt, and most can count on her to keep parties and events lively.

Extra:
+ Her favourite lover was a man named Frank (the son of a Duke), and he had six fingers
+ Her love language is acts of service and affirmation
+ Antoinette likes gold, and necklaces especially
+ Her zodiac sign is a Pisces (cusping close to Aries)
+ Favourite dessert: "French Touch" Crepe-- toasted brown sugar, Grand Marinier, drizzle of heavy crème and roasted orange peels and zest.

PSYCHE

Though the initial impression Lovisa too often gives off is one of icy contempt, she is quick to offer her warmest smiles and flattering pleasantries. In most cases, it's her tendency to get lost in her own thoughts coupled with a particularly intense resting expression that gives strangers the wrong idea; the moment Lovisa is engaged in conversation, she's all too happy to engage with all of her energy. Throwing herself into everything and giving it her absolute all is one of her great strengths, but also her vulnerability-- as a hard-working perfectionist, Lovisa finds the concept of failure impossible to cope with, and struggles to set realistic expectations for both herself and others. Catching her during a time of stress and pressure, when things aren't going quite the way she'd anticipated, is when Lovisa's demeanour turns from soft to sharp: in defence of herself, she will resort to catty insults and sometimes empty threats. Still, this drive for success makes her a formidable opponent and a wonderful ally; no matter whether or not she's available, if there is a problem to solve or a favour to fulfil, Lovisa won't be able to rest until it's carried out.

— backstory.
BIO.
In truth, the throne was never meant to pass to Lovisa, but ill fortune befell her House: she was little more than a baby when her eldest brother Nils, an already sickly boy of five years, passed despite the doctors' best efforts. Only a year later, his twin followed him into a too-early grave through similarly natural causes.

Still, there were two siblings, one last brother and her elder sister, between Lovisa and succession: rather than burden herself with what seemed like a very distant possibility, she threw herself into a child's whims instead. Pageantry was one of her favourite things, she lived for the theatre and for music and for dances and parties. Though originally she had begun to train as a ballerina, when she was just shy of nine years old she discovered a passion for figure skating, and with it, her stubborn streak. Despite her talent, puberty had crept up on Lovisa early and she was already tall for her age. It wouldn't work, people told her, by the time she was an adult she'd be too tall, her body wouldn't handle the impact that a shorter athlete's could, her limbs would be too long to have control and speed with her spins. Even her coach at the time suggested, gently, that while she didn't have a problem yet, if she grew to much she might be too heavy to be efficient. At eleven years old, Lovisa fired him.

Everything in her life so far that she could remember had gone her way, and she couldn't see why this couldn't too. She threw herself into the sport out of devotion and spite, pushing herself to prove her doubters wrong, wondering in all of her vain naivety if she might compete at the Olympics. Naturally, she grew. Then her family's misfortune struck again, and her remaining brother Alfred was killed: the doctors couldn't give them an answer beyond a sudden cardiac arrest. He'd been perfectly healthy. Of course, this death hit harder than the twins' had: Lovisa was old enough to understand, old enough to have built a relationship, old enough to grieve. She was thirteen and suddenly, nothing was going her way.

Genetics had taken Alfred and threatened to ruin her future career. At thirteen, she knew she couldn't control that: she could, however, control her weight. It was a downward spiral from there. By sixteen, she looked like a ghost. Lovisa became so obsessed with her own image, her own faults, her own goals, that she didn't notice her sister Klara's change in personality until the authorities found her car abandoned by the bridge. All gone, all of them but Lovisa. Her parents' heirs dead, their line riding on the hope that Lovisa would marry.

Her eating got better when she realised her muscle was gone and she was too weak to skate, but it was never healthy. When news of Klara's death broke, Lovisa stole away to her sister's room, where she found half a bottle of whiskey beneath the covers of her bed: she'd curled up beneath the duvet and drunk it all hungrily, an therein began a new way to cope. With the discipline of her diet and exercise, she took control. With the alcohol, she let it go.

At eighteen, Lovisa injured her hip on the ice. Because of the concussion she'd received in the fall, and her mother's pre-existing worries, she was banned from skating altogether. It was time to grow up, and to focus. For a time, she felt empty without a sport to consume her every waking moment, but she soon found a new obsession: celebrity. She wanted her picture in magazines, her name in headlines, and for people to gush about her beauty and her poise and her altruism and her good nature. There are more ways than one to be a champion, she likes to reason, more than one sort of competition to compete in, and more than one type of prize to win.
SCANDAL.
After her injury, Lovisa's relationship with her pain medication became more intimate than she'd care to admit. Paired with her past history of drinking, she fears the public would whisper that her personality makes her ill-suited for a position of responsibility. What's more, she's concerned for her own health: there is a possibility, or so she's heard, that restrictive eating in her teenage years might've ruined her fertility. There's no way she'll ever see a doctor to pose the question, though, for fear of his response-- after her family has lost so many, she wonders how she could ever explain to her parents that her own choices might've ended their line. Finally, there are plenty of staged acts of charity she's partaken in: the houses for the homeless she posed beside, for example, but never laid a finger on.
REPUTATION.
Lovisa's reputation varies. Many feel sorry for the number of funerals she's had to attend. Some know very little of her personal life, instead recognising her face from a short-lived modelling career. Others have seen her beginning to slip into the world of volunteering and donation, but opinin regarding her sincerity is very divided. Because she remained largely out of the main public eye until she became the heir apparent, to those who don't fit the previous categories, she is either irrelevant or mysterious.
EXTRA.
Red velvet cake.

She has medium brown to hazel eyes. Her eyes have a darker black limbal ring but have patterns of brown, green and amber floating in her iris. She has double eye lids but has softer eyes which she often sharpens up with eyeliner.
    Skin
Araya has light cream coloured skin which is smooth and has the occasional beauty mark or mole on her body and face. She has a birth mark on her shoulder, which resembles the shape of butterfly to some degree. She is known to get significantly tanner in summer months due to the sun and heat of Thailand.
    Distinguishing Features
She is known for her bushier eyebrows. She has two lobe piercings on both ears and significantly long eyelashes.

"Take the crown, brother" -
Matheus Ekalaka in letter to Midas.

"You are a wicked boy, Midas. I must have made an error in your name because all that you touch turns to coal," - King Hugo.

Full Name:
Midas René Ekalaka.

Title: Crowned Prince of Acadia.
Nation: Eastern Canada and Maine.
Ethnicity: French Acadie, Métis.

Visage

Weight: 174lbs. Muscled and reminiscent of consistent daily exercise and diet.
Build: Athletic Mesomorph.
Eyes: Downturned amber-brown eyes with flecks of a deeper shade of brown within.

Body Modifications: One small hole in each ear usually adorned with a gold hoop.
Distinguishing Features: Although not obvious, upon closer glance Midas' knuckles are usually a bright pink or red color. Swollen and often not given any time to heal. He masks this with a vast wardrobe of formal gloves.
Over his right brow is a very noticeable scar, a jagged line that curves over it, the remnants of stitches obtained during school.

Face Claim: John Boyega.

Personality

Midas can be described as somebody that is very intense, especially when it comes to working. He thrives when there is a goal placed before him, and quickly pours all of his might into perfecting all that he can. Due to this, first impressions are often difficult for him. Not that he despises small talk, it is simply that he isn't accustomed to discussing impertinent matters. Sometimes this forces Midas to come off as aloof and distant, which poorly coincides with the dormant frown that he sports and the foul whispers that circulate concerning who he is.

Beneath the awkward exterior is simply somebody that is awfully misunderstood. Midas isn't purposefully mean, and after a moment of analyzing whether somebody new is friend or foe (since he has much of the latter), he tends to flow into conversation relatively easily. While he might not be the most tantalizing jokester himself, he understands plenty of the references and honestly knows how to laugh.

Still, when faced with work or an overarching task, Midas finds it difficult to deviate and focus on other relationships. The task at hand is what is most important. Asking for forgiveness is much easier than asking for a break in the first place. Midas gets lost very quickly in what concerns work or needs planning. He does still hold a very big place in his heart for loved ones, and so when he does have the time to settle down, he might come off as overbearing; all in hopes of making up for the lost time.

Midas is quick to take on the challenges that hurt those that he loves onto himself. He is a loyal hound in that facet, quick to make your problems his; even though he strictly handles his own problems by himself. He struggles in private and makes sure that others believe that everything is going well for him, even in situations where they might not be. Midas frequently lashes out at himself in private, shouts into pillows, and punches plaster walls to let out his anger. While he tries to always at gentlemanly and de-escalates situations, his medium-short fuse might not always let him achieve this.

Vices: Domineering, Demanding, Controlling, Aggressive, Emotional, Stubborn, Intimidating, Quiet.
Virtues: Compassionate, Ambitious, Brave, Charming, Disciplined, Reliable.

Aspirations: Never become like father - Make both mother and Matheus proud in his actions - Relatively strong moral code as he despises what was done to his brother.
Fears: Death, Failure, Insects, Losing Control.

Fatal Flaw:
Midas' fatal flaw is that he is a control freak. Throughout his life, he has been side-lined and cast to the side. Born second, silenced by his father, and unable to avenge his elder brother, Midas' attempts at exercising control and fixing situations have almost all resulted in failure.

History

"childhood"

Hugo Ekalaka, the only son of the Acadian Monarch and her husband, was thrust into international politics at 16 following a car accident that claimed the lives of his parents and elder sister. Once known as a rambunctious bachelor in his youth, the new Monarch settled down quickly with supermodel and the daughter of a Canadian oil magnet, Clérisse Marinette. His wife quickly became a favorite of the nation due to how independent she was of the staple mandate rules in a more progressive era. Many believed the joy ever captured in her bright smile to be what aided in Hugo's early reign.

The twins, Matheus and Midas (born in that order) were born on New Year's Day in Montréal, Quebec. Identical in appearance, size, and stature, the two boys were inseparable in their youth, often mistaken for one another in the media. Their family grew up in the limelight, and it was with age that it soon became apparent that Matheus and Midas' personalities were each reminiscent of that of their parents. Midas quickly adopted his father's seriousness and focus, capable of switching tones when between public and private in order to convey the proper appearance of a gentlemanly heir. Matheus had always found it difficult to adopt a "switch," and struggled with the contrast of their lives. Due to this, he often received more attention from their mother who knew that he was in need of more help growing accustomed to their lifestyle than Midas.

With his father often absent with administration, and mother busying herself with his brother, Midas grew more and more independent (and lonesome). He berated his elder brother during their childhood and believed himself to be the twin better fitted to rule. In only three minutes over Midas, Matheus had stolen the life that was rightfully his. Alas, deep down, Midas didn't blame his brother for his unfortunate difficulty. He loved his brother and mother dearly in spite of what their actions conveyed, and instead threw himself entirely into his academics and athletics for distraction. He excelled with his tutors and was a proficient tennis player too.

"her royal highness' death - brother vs brother"

Queen Clérisse's death struck the nation almost as quickly as it struck the royal family. Matheus was hit the hardest, as their mother had passed only when they were aged 14. Midas on the other hand could not find it in himself to grieve. He had discovered in the weeks his mother was restricted to bed rest that Hugo was an unfaithful bastard that carried a mistress at his side. He'd threatened his father that he would deliver the news to his mother, though that threat was washed away as soon as Clérisse passed. He would not use Matheus as some sort of bargaining chip. His brother was too mentally weak for that.

The twins were shipped off to boarding school after that. A feeder school in Germany that would prepare them for Primrose Naval Academy, the school their father had planned to attend before his parents' untimely death. Matheus and Midas' natures truly diverged at that point. Midas continued to portray the image of the perfect son; both a scholar and an athlete, whereas Matheus found refuge in those that smuggle contraband to school and got high in the deepest cellars. Midas' attempts to stop his brother's bad habits only resulted in arguments, and Matheus shouting on just how he could have been so cold. Just how he could simply carry on with life as normal, when it so certainly was not, "Like father." Those words pierced Midas deeply especially with what Midas knew about Hugo. Unlike any playfight they'd had before, Midas struck his brother again and again.

Matheus did not return to their dorm that night or the nights afterward.

He would not understand...

... That Midas was only a product of what he had been taught.

The bigger picture was all that mattered. Showing the public the image of a perfect son in hopes to usurp his father and avenge his mother. Matheus had always been too frail to do what needed to be done.

tw; rape and suicide

"primrose scandal"

Studies continued normally for Midas who felt that he didn't need his brother. The twins saw each other only in passing, even hen they returned home for the summer. The longest time they spent in the same room was during orientation for Primrose Naval Academy in Berlin, Germany. Midas succeeded well on the tennis court, and as a passionate member of Model U.N. at the academy. On the other hand, Matheus quickly became fond of the older potheads and druggies, similarly to what had occurred in their earlier institution.

The brothers had refused to share the same dorm at the school, but when Midas began hearing lewd whispers concerning his brother and being used to ridicule him, he quickly scorned Matheus and urged him to leave the elder students be. He needn't their validation. Several weeks later, Matheus' body was found hanging in his dorm, a letter left planted in Midas' own schoolbag.

As per Primrose Mandate, as the relative of Matheus, Midas was excused on mental leave for 4 weeks and returned home to Montréal. It was on the trip home that Midas discovered that his father had wed a new bride, the mistress he'd seen Hugo with whilst his mother was very ill, and that she was with child. He wouldn't make a fuss of things as Matheus' funeral was coming underwear. Alas, Midas made it absolutely clear that he had a strong dislike for his father and his bride.

Midas' return to Primrose was one of vengeance. He found the bully that had been taunting him when Matheus' ordeal had first begun in the locker room and forced him to share the story of his brother's death with him. At the lowest depths of Primrose was a brothel of sorts that was being organized by the elder students; preying on those beneath them for the sexual pleasure they were starved of at the school. Matheus had stumbled into this group because of the drugs that flowed through it. They saw him as the most miscreant of all first-years and ridiculed him publicly in spite of all they did to him in private. Midas collected the names of those most in charge.

With his tennis racket, he snuck into the boys' showers whilst the seniors wrapped up; stealing the clothes of the four men in charge so that they were forced to stay in humiliation and confusion. In spite of the four or five years that the other men had on him, Midas was a promising athlete with anger coursing through him. With the element of surprise, Midas struck the first boy. Then the next, and so on. His eyes went red with each strike. His tennis racket bent and broke with each racket, taking on the shape of a jacket scythe as he pierced and wounded his brother's abusers. Still, he was lesser in number, and in spite of working those elder than him to start, Midas was ultimately overpowered.

It was only when the cleaning crew entered the boys' showers that they discovered the five wounded bodies sprawled all over the pristine tiles. Midas explained just what was going on beneath what the school faculty was aware of. Nobody believed him. Not only was it simply his word against that of four other boys, but each boy also had wealthy parents with enough money to pay for Primrose's silence. All of this paired with Matheus' notoriety for skipping class made it easy for them to sweep the scandal beneath the rug, and simply expel Midas from the school grounds. He returned home to the berating of his father and fought with the monarch too. The two were separated from one another by the royal guard as tensions between them bubbled violently.

"aftermath"

Midas refused therapy following the loss of his brother and expulsion, completing his education at Britannia Naval College in Portsmouth, U.K. In an effort not to return to the palace, Midas relocated to Columbia University in the City of New York. He graduated with a dual diploma in Business and Leadership and Management. For the sake of appearances, Midas has been made key advisor of Acadia's Monarch, though his father rarely heeds his educated suggestions.

Scandal:

The most prominent Scandal of Midas' life is the Primrose Scandal. The assault and cover-up pertaining to Matheus Ekalaka's death. Many of the perpetrators have since gone on to become heirs of large businesses and honors of their parents, hiding the truth of what truly occurred at the Naval Academy.

With that swept under the rug, the large population has pointed fingers at Midas for his brother's suicide instead. They claim that with how similar Midas appears to his father, in his intense and focused disposition, Midas murdered his older brother for the throne in the same way Hugo is suspected of killing his father for power, masking the murder as a suicide. Midas does not acknowledge these horrible rumors, but with the four men responsible for hurting his brother describing him as an emotionless scholar itching only for power, it has not been difficult for people to see him in this poor light.

Many also notice how little Prince Midas and King Hugo are pictured together, hinting at trouble in paradise (especially with his new wife and child in the picture).

Reputation:

Midas is not known for the bachelor lifestyle that is usually associated with the next-in-line. Instead, many see him as the next coming of his father. Someone who can adequately lead the country forwards, but lacks in the emotional relationship with the nation. He has a very private life and rarely addresses the public or paparazzi. Still, he is often compared to his mother and brother as those under the Acadian Royalty wonder what life would have been like with the rays of the joy of the royal family still alive.

The few celebrities and significant figures that Midas has come across describe him as initially aloof, but simply a misunderstood kind soul. He does things for himself, and the honor of his loved ones, not for a nation that has painted him as some sort of criminal.

Extra:

Midas was in a short-lived summer relationship with Team Egypt women's basketball player, Sofya Adel.

To pay homage to his mother, Midas regularly volunteers at a New York City soup kitchen under a false moniker and in disguise.

In memory of his older brother, Midas has donated funds to organizations trying to help address mental illness in young people.

He usually sports a golden locket with the image of his mother smiling as she hugs a younger Matheus in their courtyard.

Midas bears no ill-will towards his ten-year-old stepbrother, Adrien. He is the only royal that he regularly confers with.

Midas' favorite dessert is a tie between "Tarte au Sucre," a classic Sugar-cream pie best served in its city of origin, Quebec. The second dessert in the tie is a Canadian classic fried snack, Beavertail, served most often during summer and fall on the side of the road.

Psychology:
Sexuality: Bisexual
Virtues:

  • Fiercely Loyal
  • Intelligent
  • Open to advice and Criticism

Vices:

  • Stubborn when he decides a course of action
  • A harsh perfectionist, nothing but perfection will do
Fatal Flaw:

  • Constantin appears as cold, both from being pushed to be perfect, and the loss of his wife he had not quite gotten over. The media gave him the title of “Ice king” in reference to him being cold and due to take the throne one day. Up to now Constantin has done nothing to shake this appearance to the media.
Fears:

  • Despite his seeming cold attitude, Constantin’s biggest fear is anything happening to his daughter. The revelation of his marriage and her birth shook the kingdom. Being as forward thinking as he is, he already has plans to have the succession laws changed going forward so that any firstborn child can inherit the throne regardless of gender. It still does not stop him from fearing for her.

History:
Constantin was the firstborn child of King Mikael II and Queen Vanya in Sofia, Bulgaria. From a young age he was given the finest training, pushed to be the perfectionist. During his formative years Constantin was pushed to be the best academically as well as physically. Sent to Military school, any student that was pushed to succeed, Constantin was pushed harder.

Due to this ongoing pressure, he internalized it. Demanding nothing but perfection from himself. Once he graduated University with full Business and Law degrees, he was sent on a tour of the kingdom. Making stops at each capital city starting with Belgrade and finishing with Sofia. It was during this time that Constantin met Eleina. He fell hard and fast for the common girl.

After the tour, Constantin took up a role with the Army in Montenegro. He took the time to be with Eleina. However, this was not to last, only 1 and a half years, Eleina was pregnant. He married her in a quiet ceremony and despite the frosty reception from his father, he was happy.

However, the happiness would not last, as his wife would soon pass away from complications soon after the birth. Leaving the Crown prince distraught and a single parent.

Putting her to rest, He soon left Montenegro and headed back to Sofia, losing himself in his work as the Crown Prince, taking on charities for his patronage, working with the Military, anything to keep himself distracted on work instead of his deceased wife. Life at home is becoming harder as his daughter begins to grow and look more like her mother.

Scandal:
The big scandal that hit the Royal family was that Constantin had married a common girl.

The royal family had no idea when it broke in the media; it had been treated as just rumors by a hungry media. Until the palace got word that the prince was on his way and he had a new born baby with him, word had spread that the Royal family had not known about anything regarding the marriage or child.

Extra:
The Yugoslavian Royal family can trace their Blood all the way back to Alexander the Great, which is a source of pride for both the family and the kingdom at large.

Media Perception:

The Royal Family is looked at favorably, with the 3 princesses being seen as “Sweethearts”. While Constantin is seen as cold and unfeeling.

Despite this, the media and public at large have high approval in his ability to lead as King when the time comes so it’s a double edge sword.

This has recently begun a shift when the Crown prince is seen with his daughter, and that Cold appearance takes on a warmer look. Because of this he is starting to be seen as a Single Father doing his best by his daughter.

Royal Family:

King: Mikael II

Queen: Vanya

Crown Prince: Constantin IV

Princess (Daughter): Illinca

Princess: Marija

Princess: Polina
