This earth is similar to ours but notably different in a variety of ways. Due to the existence of immortals technology developed at a much faster rate with electricity being availible in 1193, and Cars coming in 1227. Airplanes took a while as the dangers of the sky were rather great but by 1446 The America's produced the first commercial plane thanks to The efforts of Quetzelacoatl. However this advancement in many ways caused the Dark ages. Starting in the early 1500's pantheons of gods began to encounter one another as their influences and territories grew. A global war would break out that lasted a whopping 411 years. During this war many species went extinct, and many others were pushed to the verge of extinction. Humanity however thrived as all pantheons helped to spread the human population and help it grow as they would make up the bulk of the forces of each side. The war finally ended in 1917 and humanity was for the first time considered to be an equal by social standards, after all billions of them had fought and died and in total humans were able to kill more kinds of creature than any other species.

While humans are Legally considered equal in all god owned territories, demon held territories still view them as fodder at best and disgusting animals at worst, even still humans face prejudice in most facets of life. As such 2 years ago the rise of humans with strange abilities attracted attention. Upon tracing the problem back to the mysyerious human Rory the gods and demons alike have begun to negotiate between another establishing peace and alliances as they anticipate problems from this new rising human faction.

Many different kinds of creatures exist in this world myths legends and monsters from all different kinds of mythology. Not all are playable but the vast majority are. All creatures have the ability to take a human form that nerfs them but hides their power among the vast human population. Certain creatures are different than you may know them so here are a list of important mentions.
Humans- possessing the largest population and possibly the most potential, humans can become other creatures through a variety of means and can learn any kind of magic though their short lives and weak individual power seem laughable at first get a mob of cometent and determined humans after you and wether a god or a monster you will learn why they are still alive today. They can be found in every settlement in the world with a few exceptions in demon owmed territories.
Dragons- in this world dragons are powerful magical beings possessing innate talent for sorcery and they are usually very intelligent due to extremely long lives. The various breath weapons they possess are among the most powerful elemental attacks. They draw their origin from the Four elemental planes which predate the universe itself.
Demons- Creatures born of darkness from one of two sources, the oldest and most powerful are born of the primordial darkness, whereas most are born of mortal souls turned by that primordial darkness. Demons are not only powerful sorcerers but possess vast knowledge and personal power. While not all demons are evil it does come a bit more naturally to them than others.
Gods/Demigods- Born of the First light to pierce the darkness gods different origin stories only explain their entry into the material world after their initial creation. Gods and their children have the ability to tap into the power of the universe itself in a variety of degrees depending upon their godly nature. While capable of being killed a god can never be truly destroyed their essence will simply morph and they will be reincarnated into a new life if killed, demigod while sharing the same power source and many of the same attributes do not possess the same reincarnation ability. Only humans can produce demigods, the offspring of a god and any other form of creature will be a monster of some kind.
Non-eternals- Monsters that do not draw origin from the forces predating the world, and instead have their origins tied to the world around them. These include Vampires, Werewolves, Druids, Witches, Ghosts, Ogres, Wendigos, and so on. Though they typically are less powerful than eternals like Dragons, Gods ,and Demons some have grown to proportions allowing them to match some of the higher beings.

Throughout this earth similar to our own there are several nations built by powerful beings and organizations. The true number of factions is unknown due to a vast amount of sub factions and even stand alone gods. Ruling small territories. Like Pele and her domain of Hawaii. Despite the fact that a few pantheons fell many of the gods from fallen pantheons opted to ally themselves with their neighbors. Due to the physical undesputed existence of the Gods from many pantheons monotheistic religions never bloomed in this world. Sadly most of the southern hemisphere was thought to be destroyed in the last century of the great war. Cut off from the rest of the world by a membrane of darkness that no magic or force can penetrate most of africa, south america, and all of Australia have seemingly vanished.
Azuit Empire- the Azuit empire is a coalition of the Aztec pantheon empowered by the great spirits and natural forces of the Inuit and Native american tribes. They have a large population of Both Wendigos and werewolves, with moderate sized skin walker populations. With Quetzelacoatl serving as their leader, boosted in his knowledge by the pressence of Imhotep and the Knowledge of Thoths Emerald book, this nation has remained the most technologically advanced for the past several centuries. This Empire is from where Rory and His human organization are growing.
Asgalympus- The strongest nation in terms or raw magical power, this nation was formed by the merging of the Greek and Norse pantheons with the Marriage of Baldur and Aphrodite. Possessing the largest demigod population and one that still grows to this day they are only hampered by their various Subfactions and the infighting they bring. The Trinity of Germany Formed By Ares, Hephestius, and Loki who disagreed with the terms of the merger. The Asgalympian's access to The Bifrost is another powerful advantage they possess.
The Freed- Owning Greenland and Iceland the Freed Was started by the Independant merging of The realms of Hades and Hel in the year 1344. They were not involved in the great war that lasted from the 1500s to the 1920s however they did expand their empire during that period when Anubis and Osiris Made deals to merge the Egyptian pantheon afterlife with Hel, Hades, and Valhalla. Despite not having much territory or influence in the material world they actually possess the greatest sized empire as it is basically 3 realms overlapped into one. Recently both Hercules and Odin have become refugees after they were denied their status as heirs to their respective thrones in order for Balder and Apbrodite to take the throne as the symbol of unity. Their nation has the highest population of spirits and even demons who flee unpleased masters.
The Helvault- Taking over the area once ruled by the egyptian pantheon and spreading into the majority of the middles east is the demon run empire controlled by the Primordial demon Apophis and His shadow demons. Beneath Apophis serve 12 demon lords and one traitor god Seth. Here might makes right and the weak are subservient. Humans have absolutely no rights other than the right to die. This nation also boasts the highest Vampire population and bold mages will come here to find their familiars but many die trying to do so.
The Great Golden Kingdom- the oldest of the Factions formed after the Asian and Indian pantheons fought to a stalemate nearly 2000 years ago. Since then the two factions have grown into one twin headed behemoth. Each building in their own interests but allied together during times of durress and often offering aide to one another. With one half now Ruled by Sun Wukong, and The other Now Ruled By Ganesh, these two independant nations share a flag. They boast the largest dragon population, the largest human population, and the largest territory owning all of china and her surrounding nations, India, Bangladesh, the phillipeans, and more than half of russia.
The Rising Dark- The name given to Rory and his Faction and happily adopted as their temporary title. Currently a small faction growing within the Azuit empire they show signs of exponential growth and the few members they have, less than a thousand, seem to possess impressive personal power despite being humans. Their leader seems to draw power from an unidentifiable source and is willingly spreading that power others. Attempts to locate and directly confront this organization have proven difficult. They possess disadvantages in every category but two they possess the advantages of anonymity and unpredictability.
