Spoiler: Regulations

1. While gods are playable their power is not infinite, no God modding will be allowed, all characters have weaknesses and limits to their power. No one is unbeatable, not even Rory.

2. Certain beings required for plot purposes are off limits. Typhoon, Apophis, and All other Pantheon Teir mythological figures are non playable.

3. Try to Avoid one line responses. Id like to see at least a 5 sentence paragraph per post.

4. Killing other Players characters is expressly forbidden without permission from them, that said we have gods of the afterlife so death is clearly not the last stop.

5. Try to Jive with the Plot, i dont have a overarching plan besides one or two big bads and events. Try to leave room for others, keep in mind if you make yourself a antagonist early game you will likely be defeated prior to the big bads.

6. Keep it Cleanish, torture porn backstories kinda bother me so try not to make every bad thing have happened to your character.

Name: Rory Schwab
Age: 27yrs

Faction: The Rising Dark
Status: The Deal Maker & The Mortal God.
Abilities:
Sealed- Rory's Mind, Soul, and Body are all guarded against influence by a mysterious red energy. His mind cannot he read or telepathically influenced, nor can his soul be manipulated or transformed even by things like death deities, reapers, or vampirism. Nor can his body be controlled by any force other than his will. He is still succeptible to physical damage however.

Empowerment- Every contract that Rory manages to forge increases the overall power of his abilities by the amount of power the beings soul possesses. This does not weaken the being who was contracted in any way. Nor will it be able to grant him abilities he does not already possess. Due to this he has moderate levels of superhuman strength, Speed, and Durability, along with enhanced senses, reflexes, and mental acuity.

Deal maker- Rory's main power of concern is his ability to fold reality and fortune to his will when making a deal with another being. While it is incapable of effecting other beings so he couldnt say weaken someone not associated with the deal he can and has imbued people woth a variety of superpowers ranging from superhuman strength, to telekinesis, even luck. While this ability does show its limits they are constantly being pushed as new deals allow for more powerful deals in the future and those who have made deals with him grow stronger as he does...if they worded it right.

Broker of Souls- Those who make a deal with Rory add their soul to his Account. They are still alive and will continue to live out their lives enhanced with whatever they negotiated the deal to obtain, furthermore they becone whats called "Red souls" meaning like rory their Souls are protected from manipulation, though their bodies and minds do not receive the same protection. Those who find their bodies killed while bearing a contract with Rory will become a disembodied spirit unable to be destroyed by any known force. Rory is just now discovering that he can Place these souls into objects or other bodies to revive the contract holder into a new form. Prior to this understanding he would simply absorb red souls to increase his power.

Weaknesses:
Human physiology- while he is notably more powerful than a human being he still possesses many of the same limits. He cannot fly, he requires food, water, oxygen, sleep, most of his blood, and regular health management. On a more personal note, he requires Social interaction, lavish amenities, and respect he quickly will lose his cool without them.
Goals/Ambitions: To upset the balance of power and put humanity in control for a change.
Fears: Traitors and Not making a mark on history before he is inevitably killed.
Recent History: Born in 1993 in the Azuit Empire Rory was used to people not expecting much from him. After all he was a human and not even a magically gifted one. He and his family struggled to get by narrowly avoiding their own demisw on several occasions. Yet try as he might he never seemed to get ahead in life. He would study and learn all he could only to be made to look a fool by a teacher who has several lifetimes to do the same. Hell even the local authorities seemed to look down on him often turning a blind eye to him when he was in need.

It would be nice to say that things changed as he grew older but lies are not history. The issues he had with his place only grew worse as his father was killed by a wendigo. Granted the creature was sentanced to 60 years in prison, that was hardly a problem for an immortal creature. He learned then that he would never see justice. He fell in line and like a good little human began his dreery life as a typical worker. When things finally did start to look up he jumped at the opportunity.

It began with a flash, literally, he was walking home from another day of waiting tables and was struvk by a bolt of red lightining. He chalked it up as strage good luck that he survived until he encountered his first deal. A man who was complaining about being hungry. He felt an urge to shake the mans hand and tell him that it would be fine and he would get what he asled but not for free. He felt a surge of power and moments later a pizza man on a bike was hit by a car and his delivery landed at the mans feet. From that day forward he has made a point to stretch his ability and see how far he could go. Eventually when he discovered what was going on he decided he would build a new kingdom. A kingdom of true Equality and peace, acheived through the spreading of power. He knows this will eventually bring the gods down on his head but he beleives that if he plays his cards right he can be ready when they come.
