there was a time in which peace was plenty in the kingdom. there were no wars, no impoverished people. yet, it was not enough. evil coursed through the veins of a man with a powerful form of magic. a dark magic that was too much for his mind, and so he lost it.
a war was sparked that no one expected, and it carried on for twenty years before cataclysm brought the world to its knees. after the discovery of an affair between the princess and the son of the rebel leader, the rebels planned an attack that would wipe out the monarchy in its entirety. they did not succeed, as a handful of them escaped. star crossed lovers' eyes met, their hands reaching for each other as she ran.
the surviving members of the royal family and their inner circle found themselves hiding from the world, in the presence of the messiah. the only one who could save them all. on the rebel side there lies a prophet who holds the answer to unlocking the messiah's potential. will the heavens move for the two sides? or will the sky fall at their feet?
