Hello all my SWRPG lovers I am seeking individuals for an rp that is to grab heavily from the Star Wars Rebels (animated series) and Jedi survivor, while just altering the timeline a bit speeding up certain events in on Jedi survivor and grabbing concepts from Rebels. Our characters will be responsible for building and maintaining civilization on a planet hidden from the Empire in an abyss nearly impossible to navigate, finding its inhabitants while keeping the world safely hidden from the empire, They are the Guardians of Tanalorr.



The Roles



The Chosen One: Taken

The One Destined to walk between the dark and light and knows without evil there is no good though the evil shall not flourish,

passion yet peace, serenity yet emotion, chaos yet peace, these ideals is what the chosen one lives by.



The Jedi: Open

this character is one of the founding members of the group and their sole purpose is to rebuild the Jedi order sought out by Cal, and helped him acquire the chosen one.They are also an order 66 survivor being either a padawan or a youngling at the time, They are also the co-leader of the guardians alongside the chosen one.



The Marksman: Open

Blaster cannon, even a slingshot, this character holds the best accuracy in the outer rim able to pick off targets with ease there won’t be a time where he isn’t the trigger man practically best friends with the pilot keeping enemies at bay any time he’s in the gunner seat, and the Armstech for obvious reasons ( hopefully a mandalorian character)



The Pilot: Taken

The truest of aces, an expert at piloting any vehicle or starship, as well as dog-fighting and navigating the universe.

Smuggling is a breeze and can get their illegal cargo through checkpoints and around the galaxy in no time.



The Navigator: Taken

A Traitor to the empire knowledgeable of all imperial bases, checkpoints, patrol patterns and certain military procedures that will reward the group heavily.



The Technician: Open

A master level engineer, this character build, repair, and sabotage nearly any piece of machinery with enough time, the group relies on their expertise to keep their ships, equipment, and defenses in tact.



The Armstech: Taken

crafting crew skill. Armstechs can craft ranged weaponssuch as blaster pistols, blaster rifles, sniper rifles, assault cannons and shotguns; melee weapons such as vibroblades and electrostaves; and item modificationssuch as barrels augments and augmentation kits. They can reverse engineer their crafted weapons and item modifications and possibly discover new ways to improve their creation.



The Medic: Taken

A Force sensitive individual adept user of life force who is skilled with many healing tactics alongside the technician they’ve developed life saving technology.

Personality: Dax is a very charismatic individual, he has a Dark sense of humor with a straight forward mindset he has a balance of separating passion, from duty, and refuses to deny himself attachments to mortal beings, different from Jedi and Sith of old.

Background

History:Dax was born to a family stricken with poverty on a backwater planet in the outer rim named Socorro, he had a twin sister named Dakari. When Dakari and Dax were 9 years old they were sold by their parents to a slaver after exposing their force abilities to their parents. They would go to spend three years there Dax growing stronger in the force being dumped into the slavers fighters ring. His sister doing the opposite suppressing her abilities in a hope to be bought and escape. When the two were twelve they were rescued by the Jedi, Dax the more developed of the two went on to become a Padawan while his sister became a youngling. Now with the Jedi he began to train as one facing many indifferences around him but excelled in the field a great combatant but lacked the standard Jedi values little did they know it was their doing bring him in proximity to the dark lord Darth Sidious.



Being sentenced to guard duty at the temple for unorthodox conduct in the field by his master, Sidious constructed a a plan through the force causing Dakari to be assaulted by three Palawan’s in front of Dax. Drawing his saber he killed all three, watching his sister in pain opened the door for the darkness to affect him,and ultimately caused him to lose control. Saying goodbye to his sister at age fifteen he fled the order stealing a Y-wing.



Now seeded in the boys mind Sidious and the dark side led Dax to a planet strong with the force, Dathomir freshly stricken by war it was easy for him to settle down unnoticed that was until Sidious began to visit Dax in his mind causing visions, and nightmares that was until the Sith Lord showed up in the flesh before his eyes. Sidious began to train him in the dark side making him into an apprentice after a year under the dark lords wing he was given two red lightsabers and a ship, questioning the gifts he was informed of the upcoming events of order 66 and the role he would play when everything was over.



Afraid for his sister Dax pleaded to go along to capture her and turn her to the dark side and Sidious allowed it knowing what would follow would only help his cause. Returning to Coruscant for the first time in over a year next to the newly christened Darth Vader. Once the siege began Dax was set to find Dakari before it was to late breaking away from the main assault group in search for her, breaking too far ahead he found himself surrounded, calling upon the dark side he began cutting down Jedi and temple guards in a fury just for him to look up and see Dakari watching it all. Disappointed she called him a monster and refused to hear his reasoning and turned her light saber on him, dueling with her defensively he couldn’t bring himself to going on the offensive until he heard the boots of clones approaching and refused to Watch someone else take his sister’s life and did so himself.



With the Order shattered Dax returned to Dathomir and would only receive orders from Sidious to carry out his deeds for the next 8 years, hunting Jedi, destroying strongholds, all while butting heads with Vader and inquisitors alike until he was found by Cal on Dathomir and after an extensive battle cal had cleared the hatred from Dax’s mind but not his heart giving him the strength to fight for something new, a place that would be out of the empire, and sith’s reach a place needed by the universe to begin the work of restoring balance.

Distinguishing Features: Enja has facial tattoos given to her by her sisters. They are a dark grey color against her skin, and run across her cheeks, nose, and jawline.

Scars: Enja has many small scars on her body, but their stories have been forgotten over the years. They most cover her hands and legs.

Modifications: Currently, Enja does not have any body modifications, now even lobe piercings.

Personal Items

Weapon: While Enja is skilled with a dagger gifted to her by her sisters, her true weapon is her magick. Night sister magick is harnessed through the use of the dark side of the force and is a practice that has been passed down within the Night sisters for many, many years. They are considered to be strong and force not to be reckoned with. The use of their magick is what lead to the purging of sisters with very few surviving the aftermath. Unlike the Jedi, who used the Force to serve the galaxy, the powers of the Nightsisters' magick focused on deception, illusion, and manipulation, serving only themselves. Magick can also be used to heal, create portals, or in some cases resurrect the dead.

Ship: Enja currently does not own a ship. She simply rides along in the crews ship. She's not much of a pilot.

Notable Items: A charm on a metal chain Enja has kept since the day her sisters were purged, as a reminder of those who came before her. She won't tell anyone whats in the charm. The story usually changes whenever she's asked.

Personality: Enja spent the first 20 years of her life on Dathomir, never leaving the planet for any reason. As such, she's become a bit naive to what the rest of the galaxy is like. And after the purge of her sister it's left her wondering if anyone else can truly be trusted. If someone was capable of wiping them all out, what else could be done? Staying on Dathomir was no longer an option, which had led her to Dax. Enja tends to keep everyone at arms length trying to understand their desires and motived before letting them a little closer. It's hard for her to trust right away, and she'll only do so if she's getting something out of it.

Enja has an "act now, think later" type of mindset. She often feels that her magick is something that will always keep her safe. Due to this line of thinking she tends to be stubborn, or push back when told that probably wasn't the smarted idea. It's not that she thinks she's smarter than her crew but sometimes decisions can and should be made on a whim.

Personality:
Meet the sassy smuggler with a heart of gold, she's sarcastic, skeptic, and only slightly abrasive. Expect a heavy amount of sarcasm, witty remarks, and light hearted insults depending on her mood. Her moderate distrust of others makes it hard for anyone to get to know anything about her past her what she calls herself. Getting her to lower her guard borders on the impossible, even those who she seems close to can sense her watchful gaze when they're not looking. Being a smuggler, trust isn't always in large quantities, no honor among thieves and all that, and being around sketchy criminals did not help her trust issues. She doesn't have the personality of a dead fish, all thing considered, she is quite sociable and easy to talk to when she wants to be. She could charm the claws off of a wookie with effort, in her line of work, that kind of charisma takes takes someone far. Tricks of the trade has given her that ability and she uses it quite often, part of the job. The only way to get past her defenses is to out charm her, but once those walls are down, a more sensitive side can be can be seen.. She has a soft spot for children, especially for orphans being one herself and will go out of her way to help if she can.

Being an orphan herself, she has a special place in her heart for those children who were left to fend for themselves.

Background

History:
V was born a little before the republic fell and the empire took over. She was born to two farmers turned slaves as the youngest of two daughters. If asked about life before being a slave, she couldn't say. She was just a baby when she was on her home world and most of her memories were of the slave quarters she grew up in with her sister Yunra.

She spent most of her childhood as a slave until her the age of what would be considered six in human years. An unfortunate yet opportunistic accident would give her and her sister freedom when the ship they and other slaves were on crashed on a jungle planet named shieth after a pirate attack. The slaves and most of the slavers survived, which gave the opportunity for a slave rebellion. The slaves attacked the slavers and while the slaves had numbers on their side, they were unfortunately out gunned, but they still fought on.

Killing most of the slavers before their numbers dwindled, the slaves were either killed or recaptured. Unfortunately her parents were among the dead, but before they died, they made sure their daughters were able to escape. They spent days in that forest trying to live off of what they could in the forest until they were separated by a man who claimed to be a jedi and wanted to teach her older sister. Yunra would abandon her sister for her new fate leaving her to fend for herself.

V (Vahsetta) would have likely parished had she not met Rana, another girl who managed to escape from the slaver ship. She would become her new older sister, yet their parental figure would come in the form of a young adult wookie named Zhadrr who would save them from an akk dog attack. Most would have questioned a wookie raising two young girls of different species, well, not out loud, but it worked.

It would be some years before she touched her first ship, but her first time was for a spice running ring on corellia with what used to be her old crew. Taught by one of the most infamous smugglers in the criminal underworld, captain Treyjos Cortjan, she became one of the best spice runners around along with her sister. They kept this from their father of course, but eventually, the two girls parted ways. Rana stayed behind on a planet with a group of what V could only assume were gun runners while V left with her crew to enter the world of smuggling.

Things would take a turn for the worst in regards to her luck in the form of one botched job, or rather one turncoat who caused the botched job. It was simple steal a few containers and deliver them to a specific location, no questions asked. Too bad no one told them the containers were stolen from a hutt who in turn stole them from someone else. The backstab came after most of her crew were killed and their ship was destroyed, only her and her old navigator survived. She made a deal with the hutt in order to save her own skin before they were caught when the hutt got a tip about their heist.

She would spend the next six months under the service of the hutt who had her crew killed while her teammate got off scott free until she met Dax and Kir. Freeing her from her servant position by disintegrating the hutt courtesy of the chiss bounty hunter, her newly made allies offered her a job. A job that at that point in time she couldn't refuse. With her newly gained freedom, she stole a ship and hi-tailed it out as fast as she could with her new "co-workers."

Description: 7'6 ft. Bright green skin. His eyes are a brilliant orange reptilian-like. He's a very muscular somewhat stout man with various scars across his body.

Weapon:
- A modified acp array gun that allows the user to use plasma and slug ammunition interchangeably.

- A trandoshan hunting rifle for ranged combat

- Trandoshan suppressor pistol with a trandoshan doubler attachment he often uses with his trandoshan slaver knife. Both of these weapons were passed down to him by his father and his father before him.

- Lastly he has thermo grenades. Usually only three at any given time.

Ship: Trandoshan dropship. Hesssyk took the ship when it's previous owner, a trandoshan slaver he fought alongside died at the hands of liberated wookie slaves. Hesssyk survived the ordeal and kept the ship as his own.

Personality: Hesssyk is very unusual sort, a simple man and d straight forward but bizarre at times. He has his own way of doing things, his mannerisms and etiquette in conducting business or interacting with others. He enjoys hunting and wishes to make the great scorekeeper proud. Hesssyk loves guns in any shape or form which leads to his odd and peculiar behavior. Such as talking to the guns that he is working on or performing unnecessary extra steps when fixing them.

Hesssyk is an honest man, he will never lie to you. Hesssyk will never say anything behind your back he won't say to your face. Hesssyk will also sometimes dance around the truth as he enjoys telling stories and setting the mood. He likes to picture himself as a great storyteller.

Likes:
Weapons - Big guns, little guns, fat guns, loud guns. Knives, swords, tanks, turrets, landmines, artillery, ESPECIALLY slugthrowers.
killin' time - For the great scorekeeper.
Story time - He loves the sound of his voice and sharing his most precious moments in life.
meat to eat - He's a hungry boy. He don't want plants, he needs to kill to eat. It needs to be bleeding to call food.

Dislikes:
Humble behavior - He doesn't like humble behavior. He sees that as a waste of time. Strong men and women work hard and it shows!
dishonesty - Hesssyk dislikes nothing more than a liar. Someone who goes back on their word is scum and deserving of death
Quiet people - Why are they not talking? What are they hiding? There's something they aren't telling you, and Hesssyk dosn't trust them nor will he accept shy or introverted as an excuse.
Interrupters - Hesssyk is telling story. Stfu and listen. Grab a snack and sit down, he does not care, just don't interrupt him.

Hobbies: weapon callibrations, creating experimental weapons and writing in his story book/journal.

Vices/Virtues: 3+: (Virtue) Hesssyk is a hard working man, and believes in getting the job done right the first time. He does not cut corners and he does not slack off. He finishes his tasks to the letter, and double checks to ensure no flaws. (Vice) Hesssyk is loud and proud. He will shout to the great scorekeeper above to hear and louder if possible. He does not hold back his enthusiasm and has no problem doing it at 2am when everyone is asleep. (Virtue) Hesssyk is a thinking man. If a problem arises, He looks for ways to solve it. (Vice) He is usually a shoot first ask questions later type of guy. While he does seek different methods to solve problems, violence is usually his first option. It's how he was raised and what he understands. (Virtue) Hesssyk is an open minded individual. Although he is a violent creature, he tries to look at situations from different perspectives. His father before him and his father before him and so on taught him to be ruthless. However now that he no longer influenced by his family, he has become more compassionate. (Vice) Sadistic. Even though he's slowly becoming a better person, he still enjoys bloodshed and screams of agony. Reveling in it even.



Background

History:

Hesssyk's backstory begins with his parents. His father was an unusual huntsman. Even for trandoshan standards. Where many Dosh would fight with claws, fangs, knife, and gun. Hesssyk's father, Hesssha fought with machines. Hesssha was a strong hunter who embodied Dosha culture, but his tech savvy skills is where he gained his prominence. Hesssha created elaborate hunting mazes where Dosh would hunt prey for sport. He also made traps that were designed to cause as much excruciating pain as possible without killing the victim. His father loved hunting but he his love of hunting was more sadistic than honor.

Hesssyk's mother, Shaa was a medic. Shaa met Hesssha when he was injured in one of their hunts. Despite being a cruel man, Hesssha also had a passionate side as well which is why Shaa put up with him. Both of his parents shared their skills with Hesssyk. Hesssyk grew up tinkering with more robots than traps. Hesssyk was also gained basic medical skills from his mother.

Hesssyk was a thinker just like his father. Hesssyk might have been a fully capable of using brute force to get by, but he also relied on wit a d cunning prowess. It's not enough to win, but you must also dominate. Barely winning might as well be losing. It needed to be an undeniable win. Hesssyk spent the first few years of his life as a hunter, but was extremely bored. He took his talents to becoming a smuggler and a bounty hunter. With his tech savvy skills he also picked up scavenging. Hesssyk thrived in the black market dealings. Nar Shaddaa was one of his favorite planets to get illegal tech from.

He even got all sorts of droids; a ST- series super tactical droid nicknamed Overseer as it usually takes command of Hesssyk's other droids when Hesssyk isn't around, KX- series security droid Hesssyk keeps around to load cargo, and ship security. Its nickname is Guard since he's a security droid. Hesssyk rarely goes anywhere without his ID10 seeker droid as he usually likes to have his ID10 seeker droid to scout nearby areas when he travels on foot. Its nickname is also very original, its Scout. Hesssyk does a lot of ship repairs himself, but also uses the assistance of three pit droids to help with repairs. They are nicknamed scrap, debris, and rubble. Scrap has a red circle on its head, debris has a yellow triangle on its head, and rubble has a blue square on its head.

He keeps his droids at a small well hidden fort inside a cave wall. A single room with various trophies. From dangerous animals to sapient species across parts of the galaxy. A hunter's mancave. His droids made sure the place stayed clean, and no uninvited guests would mess with it. Now these days he goes around applying his weapon crafting skills where he can. Occasionally hunting marks. He hadn't been apart of the slaver work in years, and had no intention in looking back at that line of work.

Family: Hesssha - Father, hessshkah - Grandfather, Morshah - Mother, Five unnamed brothers - two slavers, one bounty hunter, one scavenger, and one mechanic.

Relationships: Shaer Kadov - Crazy devaronian ex-girlfriend he believed to have died in a star ship explosion.

Distinguishing Features: Patches of pale skin around her left eye, extending up into her hairline and on her hands. Freckles dusting the bridge of her nose and cheeks.

Scars: Scar across nose, a few crisscrossing on her lips. A few old blaster and stab wounds on her torso.

Modifications: Body is augmented with cybernetic enhancements to improve physical capabilities and senses. Right hand replaced with natural looking prosthetic. Left arm from shoulder down replaced with natural looking prosthetic with augmented strength and a monofilament wire garrote built in. Left leg from just below the knee is retrofitted droid leg.

Background

History:
  1. Mal Jerycho was a young woman when the Clone Wars began. With her world becoming a battle ground for the war, she joined a local volunteer regiment loyal to the Republic. Once the war was pushed off her world, her regiment shipped out to continue the fight against the Separatists.
  2. While the Separatists were led by greedy corps and power hungry despots, Mal soon saw that the Republic was led by incompetence/ The only one who seemed to get anything done was Chancellor Palpatine. Even the Jedi seemed like ineffective and arrogant has-beens, which was reinforced by her serving a brief stint in a campaign where her regiment were aiding the Jedi General Pong Krell.
  3. While she grew to distrust and dislike the politicians and jedi, Mal did form a deep respect for the Clone Troopers she served with. Some of her best friends were clones, including a Clone Commando named Revs who she had a romantic attachment to. The two had plans for after the war, but Revs went MIA after Order 66.
  4. The Clone Wars ended with her in hospital for battle wounds. From her hospital bed, she was glued to the holo net watching the news of the Jedi assassination attempt on Palpatine and the announcement that the Republic was being reformed into a Galactic Empire to ensure an era of security and peace.
  5. When recruitment began for the new Stormtrooper legions, Mal was one of the first to sign up. Her aptitudes and above average physical capabilities got her selected for special training and deployment under Imperial Intelligence as a Death Trooper. She gladly went through the grueling training and physical augmentation to better protect the citizens of the empire.
  6. Mal spent the next few years as part of a black ops team under an ISB Agent eliminating sedition in the empire. While there were many corrupt targets that she felt deserved the punishment they got, more and more of them seemed like ordinary people. Mal tried to push away these doubts, quiet them with assurances that it was all worth it to protect innocents, but the doubts never really went away.
  7. Stories of the spookie enforcers of the Empire like Lord Vader and the Inquisitors abounded in the ranks, but Mal didn't fully believed them until her squad was put at the deposal of an Inquisitor. Her team was put onto helping track down Jedi survivors. Raids with the Inquisitor and the Purge Troopers unnerved Mal, finding the apparent glee they took from their work distrubing. One mission ended with the Inquisitor ordering the execution half of a batch of force sensitive youths as a lesson to the rest of them. Mal followed her orders, but something inside her broke.
  8. After a little over 9 years since the end of the Clone Wars, Mal was on a sweep of a mining world for a Jedi Fugitive when she got a message from Revs. Finding a way to break away from the patrol, she rushed to meet her old lover in an abandoned factory. After a tearful reunion, Revs explained what had happened to him. He told her about the bio chip that was in his head, what really happened with Order 66, and what happened to him afterward. Abandoned by the Empire, other clones had helped him get the chip out of his head. The guilt of his betray of the Jedi weighed Revs so heavily he couldn't bring himself to face Mal. He had spent a few years as a drunk, trying to wash away the memories. He found salvation in The Jedi Underground, acting as a guard and pilot to get kids away from the empire. Revs begged Mal to help him get the Jedi kids he was sheparding out of the Empires net. Though conflicted, Mal agreed.
  9. The duo arrived too late to find the Jedi and the kids already cornered. The Inquistor was locked in battle with the Jedi, with her Squad commander rounding up the kids for execution. Revs charged in to save the kids, but was gunned down by her commander. Enraged, Mal beat her squad mate to death with her bare hands. She took explosives off one of the speaders and began lobbing them at her own lines, killing more of the Purge Troopers to cover the young ones' escape. She was about to make her own run for it when an injured Inquistor appeared, throwing his lightsaber at her. She diived out of the way, but it still took off her left leg. With the Inquistor destracted by calling his lightsaber back to him, Mal caught up a flame trhower off one of the dead Purge Troopers and incinerated the Inquistor.
  10. Injured and heart broken, Mal had the presence of mind to swap her identity tags with that of a mangled and charged trooper before making it to the Inquistor's TIE. With TIE's sercurity codes, she made it off world and started a new life on the run.
  11. After getting a replacement for her leg, Mal tried the whole mercenary shtick, but found it unfulfilling. A couple of months later, she intercepted an Imperial signal saying a local patrol found signs of jedi activity. Mal made her way to the source of the signal and cleaned up the situation, killing the soldiers involved and purging the data from the computers. With a copy of the data, Mal made her way to the Jedi in hiding and offered her help to get him out of this.

Weapon:
Kir never goes anywhere without at least four different weapons, and usually carries more. What he takes varies, depending on the needs of his task. He does, however, tend to carry a few weapons often enough to consider them "tools of the trade." Here are a few:

-Westar-35 Blaster Pistol. Carried often by Mandalorian law enforcement and Deathwatch before the Night of Tears, these weapons became highly praised for their reliability, power, and simplicity, often going for exorbatent prices due to the manufacturer refusing to sell the model outside Mandalorian space. Kir has modified the blaster to improve it's heat efficiency, alongside the choice to overcharge the bolts to penetrate tougher armor.

-EE-3 Blaster Carbine. A mainstay of any respectable bounty hunter, Kir uses this as his all purpose weapon, able to perform whatever task is required without much issue.

-E-110 Watchman Ripper, a sniper rifle that used a hybrid energy/slugthrower system. The design is ancient, dating back to the time of the Old Republic and the Mandalorian Crusaders, but it serves it's purpose well. Kir uses this as his primary long range rifle, the ability to both pierce armor and shields making it an excellent choice

-A simple, durasteel knife. While not as advanced or effective as his other weapons, it was personal significance to Kir, being the first weapon he ever used.

Hobbies:
-Scrimshaw. It started out of necessity, being unable to be choosy about materials, and bones generally being easy to obtain. But over time, he began practicing it for more artistic purposes, decorating the various bones and teeth he wears.

-Singing: Being a Chiss, and having a naturally deeper voice, Kir often sings in his spare time, usually just to pass the time and keep his mind focused. Usually old Mandalorian war songs, though he does quite enjoy jazz music as well.

Vices/Virtues: Kir is an...odd fellow. He seems cold, unemotional, callous, even a bit disconnected from reality in general. If you just met him, he speaks rarely, and often in only a few words. "There." "Stop." "Yes." "No."

But despite his stoicism, and perhaps almost worrying love of hunting and weapons, Kir is a massive softie. Like, you'd think he wasn't a hardened warrior once you got to know him. He shows an unusual softness to those he cares about, and a great deal of emotional awareness and introspection. He enjoys music and art, and despite his hobbies, shows a natural love of nature and animals.

But from this softness comes something...darker. Savage, feral, hidden behind years of disciplined training and familial love. All it takes is an especially brutal poacher, or an off kilter comment about his daughter, or an insult to the Mandalorian people. And then something snaps inside him. Like a switch. His eyes narrow like a predator, his muscles move on their own. All conscious thought leaves as he loses all control and essentially goes feral.



Background

History: Whatever Kir's name was before his adoption, he's not sure. And frankly doesn't care.

He was found aboard a derelict, unidentified starship, found drifting through space. Those onboard had deep blue skin, black hair, and red eyes. Similar in practice to the Pantorans, but something else entirely.

Unfortunately for the boy, he was not discovered by a Republic patrol ship, or a cargo freighter. He was found by Trandoshan pirates.

They mistook him for a Pantoran, and, having never hunted one before, took him prisoner, to one of their "reservations."

How Kir survived is a mystery, being he was only seven at the time. But he did. For two years, he survived, with nothing but his wits, and a sharpened bit of metal he'd fashioned into a shiv. Over time, the Trandoshans began to almost respect him, how readily he was able to evade them, and even kill a few, with great effort of course.

But one day, the hunters simply...stopped coming. Ships stopped landing with more "prey."


And then the metal men came.

They were clad, head to toe, in metal. Their voices muffled and distorted. The Chiss watched them, observed, waited for one to split off before he pounced and-

Most of the Trandoshans he'd targeted were amateurs, essentially teenagers looking to claim a few cheap trophies before moving onto the "real" prey. Arrogant and inexperienced. But these metal men were neither. Kir was immediately restrained, kicking, screaming, biting even.

The "metal men" were in reality Mandalorians, contracted to deal with the Trandoshan slavers in the area. Though their job was complete, they had made the decision to check the surrounding jungle for any survivors. They were mercenaries, but not heartless monsters.

The leader of the group, Cassus Ordo, personally saw something in the strange boy. A fire few had.

On that day, the Chiss child would be known as Kir, meaning "knife" in the Mandalorian tongue. And he would be a son of Clan Ordo.

Following the final Crusades, and the blessing of Mandalore, there was a schism in society.

On one side, there was the newly instituted Pacifist government. While seen as weak and ineffectual, they did ensure the survival of the Mandalorian people.

On the other side were the Traditionalists, not so keen on abandoning a way of life that had existed before the Republic itself. But unlike he Pacifists, the Traditionalists were unable to be united. The were split into two more smaller factions. One was the infamous Death Watch, extremists bent on returning Mandalore to the old ways, where the Mandalorians were conquerors, and the galaxy was at their mercy. Opposing them were the True Mandalorians, made up of those that wished to uphold the old ways, but avoid the mistakes of their past.

A small civil war erupted, and both sides went into hiding.

The True Mandalorians spread out across the galaxy, hiding in smaller cells usually led by the last surviving member of a great Clan of old. There was the famous Fetts, on Concordia, for example.

Clan Ordo had long, storied history, dating the way back to the Crusades. It's said that one of their members even counted among the Mand'alor, "The Preserver," they called him.

Kir was raised as the Clan's next heir, earning his keep first by assisting his father, then as a freelance bounty hunter, specializing in tracking elusive targets.

As he grew, he saw the Death Watch attack Mandalore, and the ensuing chaos the Clone Wars created. As the Empire rose, many of the Clans were hunted down, the new government consolidating any and all Beskar they could find.

Kir's father was killed during this hunt, leaving him the sole heir of his Clan.

He would spend the next few years alone, taking jobs, and generally staying out of the Empire's eye. It was during this he rescued a young Twilek girl from Trandoshan slavers. Seeing himself in her, he adopted the girl, naming her Shae, after a previous Mand'alor.

Background

History:
  • Terrik Bal was born to a wealthy Mirialan family from the mid rim. His connection to the force started to show itself before his 5th birthday.
  • Terrik was scheduled to be tested by the Jedi when Order 66 was enacted. Fearful of what might happen to Terrik, the Bals did there best to scrub any connection to the Jedi and began pressuring Terrik to suppress his connection to the Force. The same happened to his younger sister Bes.
  • An emotional outbreak from Terrik that sent a parked speeder bike flying caught the attention of the neighbors, who sold the Bals out to the Empire. The family tried to go on the run, but only Terrik escaped.
  • To survive, Terrik joined up with a street gang who used his brains and uncanny insight to expand there territory. The gang boss had suspicion Terrik was Force Sensitive, but tried to keep it on the down low to give the gang an edge and keep Terrik safe.
  • Things fell apart when the old boss was killed by an ambitious lieutenant. The death of the boss caused another one of Terrik's "little moments", causing damage to the gangs main base. After he was subdued, the usurper decided to sell him off to the Inquisitors for the reward money.
  • The meeting with the Inquisitor went poorly after the usurper attempted a shake down and ended up losing her head literally. Terrik resigned himself to a grim fate when the Force seemed to intervene. Another lightsaber wielding individual ambushed the Inquisitor and killed him and the troopers he brought. The white haired man gave Terrik a choice: come with him and learn the ways of the Force, or remain prey. In Terrik's mind, there was only one answer.
