It's real. And that's not the only one coming out. Legendary is also making a new Godzilla movie with Rodan, Ghidorah, and Mothra.

No. I the reason that Godzilla looks like that is because he was either recently radiated, or he just recovered from the Oxygen Destroyer. So he's actually healing, which is going to have three stages from what I read.

Yeah, either of those are probable the reason why he looks like this.

That's quite an intimidating look for him. Granted a giant, radioactive fire breathing monster of a creature would always be intimidating.

Was SO excited a few months ago, when it was announced that Toho was making another Zilla movie. But I am really disappointed with the product so far. They are basically remaking the story of the first ever Godzilla. Its such a step back for the monstah. But Ill see it anyway. Haha.

I'm so hyped for Resurgence. I love the new design, and I love the path they are taking with it

It's not really a new incarnation. It seems like a remake of the original.

It is a reboot series though, similar to Heisei and probably more-so consistent with the Millennial trend of new Godzilla backstories. But I digress. I don't know enough about it really, been keeping myself in the dark about a lot of news.

Recent news has confirmed it as a reboot to the franchise as a whole entirely unrelated to the original franchise by Toho. No Oxygen Destroyer. No Godzilla from 1954. Nothing. All new Godzilla for a new age.


Honestly, I prefer it that way myself.
