Tera had woken up, embraced with Lena. That was the first night in a long time that she had a good night's sleep. She smiled as she looked at Lena. She sighed getting up. She looked over at Nika's bed to see it vacant. She wondered where her roommate was. Was she alright? Tera contemplated Nika for the next few hours while getting ready and grabbing breakfast. She had finally seen her in class. She wanted to say something but didn't do to the fact that the class had started.

After Tera walked through the portal, she concentrated on the protective shell and felt it materialize. She opened her eyes to see that she was wearing a long black trenchcoat. It was from her favorite movie, the Matrix. She heard Blake's words. Damn Zeus's bossing her around. She was going to put her in her place after they were done. She readied her weapon and stood by. If anything was going to attack she would protect her team.

NIGHT BEFORE ZEUS'S CLASS
The plants surrounding them as they kissed grew in size and blossomed. She used the kiss from the God of the Sun, healing, light, poetry, and so on. She was definitely feeling as if she was healed and she DEFINITELY felt hot. Hikari broke the kiss and Jasmine felt her head feeling pretty light. "That was better than the kiss in the illusion." She gasped when she realized what she said and her face turned red. Did he go through the same thing in the illusion? Was there first kiss IN an illusion?! "Can we... What happened to YOU in the illusion?"

Kera Aetos

"Now ladies and gentleman. Have fun!" Zeus's words range through her head like a bell, forcing her into action, her head twisting and turning to spot the encroaching beast. It wasn't hard, the massive creature already charging, a disgusting fume drenching from its many mouths as it ran. "Toxic breath?" Kera attempted to recall what her father had told the class, but she was under immense pressure, there was no time to form a plan now, they needed to address the immediate threat.

Kera's eyes glanced between each of her partners, chosen of Hades, Boreas, Ares, and... Her mind was suddenly cut short as Casey approached, introducing himself with what seemed like eagerness, though Kera wasn't sure he had noticed the situation they were in. "No time for that!" Kera suddenly announced toward him, before looking back toward the Hydra growing ever closer. "Think... Think!" She began to plead with herself, they were running out of time, at this rate they would all end up failing before they had even begun. Suddenly, she stopped, looking toward the ground for a split second, before looking up toward Ivan. "Chosen of Boreas! Keep that smog coming from its maws from us if you can!" She noted with vigor, her voice booming even above the stomps that shook them, before looking toward Crystal. "Hades chosen, anything you can do to slow it during the fight will aid us!" Kera continued, doing her best to retain her composure through the stress and adreanelin which began to fill her very core.

"But for now..." Kera began to point her spear toward the approaching myth, a large charge of electricity forming at its tip. "Shut your eyes!" She roared commandingly, a flash of static erupting from the tip of her spear, a blinding light flying toward the centre of the beast's many heads, before erupting into an explosion of light. A dragging sound became obvious as the Hydra began to slow, shaking its many heads from side-to-side, the many eyes that adorned them blinking, as their maws released a violent roar of pure anger. "We'll need to try to split the heads among us, don't let it bleed on you, or breath in that putrid gas!" She shouted out once more, the beast already beginning to start up once more, not far from striking range, at least it wouldn't have such a running start on them. Kera looked back at the group momentarily. "No decapitations!" She quickly added, before readying her weapon once more, three giant heads moving down to slam onto her, though it had more than enough to attack some of the others all the while.

--------========++++++++========--------

Alaric Swift
Alaric sat in the class as he listened to the newest mission debrief. Zeus was leading an instruction on the proper way to deal with specific mythical beasts from Greek legend. The power point that Zeus was showing really stuck with Alaric. The weaknesses of each mythical beast, how to exploit those weaknesses to your advantage if you come across said mythical beast. They just made sense to him and he stared attentively as the slides went by.

When the presentation ended and Zeus presented them all with their ambrosia and coffee filled mugs, Alaric was quick to comply with Zeus's words. Downing the coffee quickly, Alaric was shook awake by the rich black flavor. Fully awake and ready, he walked into the portal with the rest of the students, unsure but ready for whatever Zeus had in store for them on this mission. And it seemed like the first thing he had in store was a massive titan. In an instant his pistol was drawn, but it only faced open air. The titan had just been a display by Zeus. Alaric felt foolish.

And then they were to don armor formed by their minds. Alaric was skeptical about it, but when Zeus donned his set of bronze armor his doubts were erased. If Zeus could do it so could he. Thinking of a protective shell around his torso he also thought light. He wasn’t about wearing something heavy that would slow him down. And with those thoughts in mind a plain leather breastplate formed over his chest. It was indeed light, and after doing a few torso twists, it didn’t appear to impede his movement.

"Now ladies and gentleman. Have fun!" Were Zeus’s parting words as Alaric’s surroundings suddenly changed. They were now in a valley, with a hydra barreling towards him and his team. Zeus’s chosen was quick to take charge of the situation and when she yelled for them to shield their eyes, Alaric turned from the hydra without hesitation. With a crack like thunder, he turned his head back towards the beast. Poisonous blood, putrid breath, and and regenerating heads, it truly was a challenging beast to down.

Alaric broke from the group, heading to the left and towards the hydra. As he ran he fashioned his shemagh around his face to offer some protection from the hydra’s breath. The young Zeus had said to split the heads up amongst them but not to decapitate any of them yet, so he kept his xiphos secured to his hip and instead drew his handgun, shots ringing out as he tried to draw the attention of some of the hydras heads.

Crystal, a little curious as to why Lena never came back that night, was greatly discouraged when she heard that there was a class today. She didn't feel like she would be able to manage much, especially if it was a combat class. Forget her willpower after the wave of depressing developments during the potion class, even after she had more of her tattoo filled in she still had barely any power or control. She tried manipulating earth, and that didn't go so well either. A nagging voice kept haunting her throughout the night, whispering if she was really big three material, and she did her best to shut it out but couldn't.

She only half payed attention to the power point, wallowing too much in her circumstance, and though the coffee was a cheer-up of sorts it didn't do much in the grand scheme of things. She thought it was kind of cool that when she thought about something protective these metallic, bony, claw-like gauntlets appeared on her hands, though the metal only covered her hands and her lower arms were covered by the padded underside of the gloves extending beyond the metal. The cool moment was instantly blown away by the newest installment in big monster movies, the giant scaring her half to death before she realized that he had already disappeared. It wasn't funny. Apparently, she was supposed to be fighting the Hydra with a few people she didn't know. Also not funny.

The girl shooting lightning everywhere, presumably Zeus's chosen, had ordered her to slow the hydra, but Crystal was just despairing. "I can't do anything against that!" Regardless, she charged forward, holding the black harvesting scythe that was her god weapon yet obviously not designed for fighting. She summoned the giant bone golem from capture the flag, the highest summon she could control at this point, and as if to laugh at her the hydra scooped the 3 meter tall bulky amalgamation of bones into it's mouth, tossing it up into the air before swallowing it like a small snack, not even chewing. Her concentration freed, she tried to wrap the hydra with it's own shadow, but she couldn't even wrap one leg before overtaxing her concentration and watching as the hydra easily tore through the half-baked restraint. "See! Look at all the nothing that did!" She hopped up and summoned a skeletal horse below her, riding it out of the way of a head that attempted to devour her. She pulled her horse the long way around, not wanting to get into the fight she was too powerless to be of affect in but at the same time knowing that her helping would be better for her team mates regardless. She planned to escape the hydra's notice, and ride under it's belly, hopefully making it show it's guts with her oversized weapon since there was no power at her disposal capable of hurting the thing.

--------========++++++++========--------

Ivan didn’t expect his fight with the Hydra to begin so quickly after the explanation. He was still swallowing his coffee when the thing appeared and the other began fighting it. Taken aback he turned to wind and retreated for a moment. He needed to calm his mind and don his armor. Wind spirits didn’t really have a need for armor, but his father had shown him his godly armor so Ivan figured it would work for him as well. A thick layer of ice covered Ivan making him look more like a creature than a person. As the others fought the Hydra head on Ivan flew around it. Trying to slow it down with blasts of his icy breath.
--------========++++++++========--------

Casey Edgar
Casey had hoped they would have at least a little time to introduce one another but just as quickly as they had gotten there the hydra was attacking. Out of no where there was a blinding light and the crackling sound of lightning as Kera blasted the creature. From his left Casey heard gunshots being fired off towards the beast, it seemed some of the heads were occupied with that. A girl looked like she was struggling to slow down the creature and even slid under it to its back. Lastly Casey noticed something flying around, it looked like a human shaped ice cube, and it was spraying the hydra with some sort of frost.

Casey looked at his sword, and then to the hydra which was flailing its head around. There wasn't much he could do against the creature, but something had to be done. Casey ran towards the side of the beast with his sword at his side. As he got closer one of the heads snapped at him forcing him to jump into a roll to dodge. After regaining his balance he got up to the hydras leg. With a powerful swing Casey slashed the hydras front leg. Casey kept running to make sure he didn't get hit by any of the blood. From what Casey could tell the wound hardly effected the hydra, it seemed more like a paper cut.

Everyone around Casey was giving their all to taking down this hydra. Casey began to feel stronger than he did before. He could feel everyone's feelings of rage and vengeance flowing through him. 'This must be Nemesis' Casey couldn't explain it well. But he had the feeling that Nemesis had given him some sort of power over his mortal abilities. This was the first time he had experienced any of his own godly power. It felt AMAZING! Casey felt his feet carry him faster, his sword felt lighter in his hand, and he could feel the presence of everything around him without even thinking about it.

Casey shouted back towards Kera, "It's to tough, what are we gonna do!?" Casey hoped that his leader would have come up with something about now.

Big thanks to Onion for the great recreation!

*SMASH!* The sound of the Hydra's skull crashing down toward Kera was audible to all, dust spewing viciously from the ground as the earth shook from the impact. The two other heads stared downward, only to see Kera's frame leaping backward from the collision, narrowly avoiding the beast. The other heads wasted no time, however, and as Kera looked up toward the creature, two more heads began barrelling toward her. She had only just hit the ground when they struck, only just having enough time to raise her weapon toward their vicious maws. "Nnnngh!" Kera grumbled as the full face of their oversized craniums came down upon her, her body pushing down almost a foot into the soil from the sheer force of it, their jagged teeth stuck on the shaft of her prize weapon.]

One again, the tip of her spear lit up, the bolt releasing from it quickly shocking the inside of the head to her left. The resulting shock sent the neck of the beast jolting back in pain, though it wasn't about to flee, the pure expression of rage on its face made that obvious. Toxic breath, visible even to the naked eye, began to seep from each of the hydra's mouths, and into the vicinity of the chosen. "Eugh!" Kera revolted, pulling her face back with a disgusted expression, still pushing against the right head that clung to her shaft, before quickly pulling the weapon back, smashing the blunt side of it into the side of the beast's head, physically jolting the creature to the side, its long neck swinging around at full radius, before returning back up toward its core.

Kera pulled up the shawl that hung around her neck in an attempt to block the fumes from entering her system, though it did little to protect her. She began to search for Ivan, though Crystal's calls for her own uselessness cut into her attention. She had barely noticed the bone construct with all that was going on, it was like they were fighting multiple beasts at once. Kera outstretched a hand as the girl began to run off, another head slamming toward Kera. Dodging to the side, and bringing her right fist up toward the bottom of the beast's jaw, a hearty crunching sound escaping as it was pushed backward, Kera attempted to make chase, only able to watch as one of the heads almost devoured the girl, though another head slithering down toward her made it clear Kera was going nowhere. "Damnit! Hades Ch-..." Her furious yells of command were cut off as she struck another head on its dome. "Get back here you idiot!" She screamed out toward the girl. What did she expect to accomplish alone?

The young demigoddess's attention was soon captured by a flying Ivan ice-block, as well as a putrid cloud of foul gas from the hydra's maws. He was slowing the beast's movements, that was clear, but that wasn't the biggest issue they faced, and for Kera... He hadn't listened to her. A vein in the side of her head was almost popping out, the combination of inadequacy and failure to follow basic commands striking deep within her. "Are you deaf!? Clear the smog!" She managed to choke out, her eyes starting to well from the pure intensity of it. She turned back to Casey. "Now... We-!"... *SMACK!*

Kera's eyes opened, her body flying through the air, a tense pain in her side. In her distraction, one of the many heads had swung down, striking her with its massive jaw. The girl let out a short cough, a slight bout of blood erupting from her lips, as her frame tumbled over the soil some distance away. Wiping her mouth, the girl looked up with fury. Alaric and Casey seemed to being doing well, distracting the many necks that sprung from the beast's oversized body, but how long would they last? Kera pulled herself up from the ground, slightly slanting over to her bruised side, before standing up straight. She couldn't rely on these lesser gods, that was obvious now, she needed to act before they all failed.

The demigoddess's feet dug into the ground, before propelling her quickly back toward the scene of the battle. If she could manipulate lightning like her father, this would be simple, but she couldn't... She was in too much of a rage to think it through, to think of the level of power of the lightning that came from her spear. "You filthy spawn of Typhon!" Her voice boomed toward it as she grew withing striking distance, her tone filled with rage and disgust as she sliced diagonally into one of the many necks.

The two heads either side began to hiss and roar, waving into the air frantically. A large slam could be heard as the decapitated head lifelessly dropped like spaghetti to the ground, blood spewing from either end. Charging her spear, Kera took aim at the now fresh wound, before unleashing as powerful a bolt as she could toward it. As the bolt struck, the wound began to singe, a terrible stench of burning flesh unleashing. Kera stood for a moment, weapon ready, watching intently at the sight of it, a smile slowly creeping on her face... Until after a short moment... "Screeeeeeee!" Two heads slowly began to emerge from the wound, the singe not enough to cauterise. Kera's eyes popped open in shock, her smile falling to an open mouthed expression. "No..." She simply muttered at the sight of it. They flailed, screeching into the air as they birthed, fangs popping from their gums as they prepared to strike alongside the other heads. "Rggh! Keep it distracted!" She yelled out once more to Alaric and Casey, still needing time to think of a proper plan, small bouts of the Hydra's blood burning up as it came into contact with the field her helmet produced, though the same could not be said for some patches of clothes on her body. Kera's eyes darted back over to Crystal menacingly, though not for long, as she stared up to the multiple heads preparing to strike once more.

"I'll get back alright!" Crystal mentally commanded her skeletal mount to turn around, and she stood up in the saddle, demonstrating wonderful balance as she held the harvesting scythe behind her by the two handles sticking out of the shaft. The Hydra had stopped paying attention to her since she had gone so far away, and when it noticed and tried to smash her with one of it's heads it was already too late. Crystal lifted her scythe, cutting deep into the belly of the beast as her mount ran as fast as it could. Blood sprayed behind her and she could hear the beast roar in pain while she made her pass, inflicting real damage upon it on a level that couldn't be shrugged off. As she came out from under the Hydra she looked back, smiling in elation as she managed to do something, only to see a head flashing towards her with it's jaw open.

The newly born head from the stump that Kera had made shot towards Crystal, easily smashing through the fragile pile of bones that was her horse, and smashing her into the ground below with it's open jaw. Maybe because of the pain it was in the monster had forgotten to shut it's jaw in a bite to end the life of the one that had caused it so much pain, but that didn't matter too much with one of it's enormous teeth sunk into her stomach and it's noxious breath spreading around.

James was sitting back watching all the groups take on their assigned beasts. He had a knot in his stomach, and it wasn't a good feeling. He looked over at one of the screens and found it. One of the students had taken a pair of horns to the chest. In a fit of rage, he snapped his fingers and was there within seconds. He looked to his students. "Stay here."Was all he said. His anger was easy to tell. The aura around him was hot, almost like a volcano. Within seconds he had the minotaur and Argus. Seconds later he was gone with Argus. The beast was still alive.

Seconds later, James was standing within the infirmary. He set the student on the table as water nymphs and other healers started to work.

Ivan had been so focused on making sure that the Hydra couldn’t advance on them that he had failed to notice the toxic smog that had been billowing from the Hydra. A mistake that the Zeus born Kera was more than happy to point out. In Ivan’s defense it was kind of hard to hear commands from the girl when he was moving as fast as he had been. Nonetheless Ivan silently obeyed the command as the las thing he needed was to have the others choke out on that gas. Because Ivan hadn’t been quick enough to deal with the gas too much had accumulated to be dealt with in a single breath. Ivan turned to icy wind and barreled through the team creating a current on wind that would force the stagnant low hanging gas to follow his path away from the others. With the gas on its way out the next thing Ivan did was keep near it’s heads and try to always keep at least one head frozen shut.

Nia wasn't about to fight this beast, that's what her team was for. She didn't really know what to do.

That's when it hit her.
"No one's steering the ship..." She quickly ran over to where the wheel of a ship would be, only, there was no wheel. 'WHY ISN'T THERE A WHEEL!?' She thought quickly and soon realized there were just two big oars to steer the ship. She grabbed hold of one of these oars and managed to position the ship so that it was traveling with the wind. The ship began to move at a slow pace, without somehow powering the oars this old ship wasn't going anywhere fast. Meanwhile, Nia was humming the tune of some sea shanty, ready to spring into action as soon as something else to required her attention. Alaric let out a breath of exasperation as he watched his teammates flounder with the hydra. Things were not going well for them. He had been ordered to distract the beast, and he had, at least with a few of the heads. But as he dipped and dodged around the hydra's snapping jaws, firing at those heads that got a little to close for comfort, He noticed the spawn of Hades getting pinned to the ground by one of the heads, a new head. A head that had sprung from his groups fearless leader's battle cry. 'What a fucking mess.' He thought to himself as he body checked the head pinning the Hades girl to the ground. A Greek aspis had formed over his forearm as he contacted the Hydra's head, turning him into a fairly effective battering ram.

"Useless" he muttered as he passed over the Hades girl. Normally he wouldn't have done anything for the girl, she had failed her mission. Why should he jeopardize his mission to save her. But as he had yet to determine a way to vanquish this beast, and she was a member of the same team as him, she might still prove useful to the mission in her wounded state.

Having freed up the Hades girl, Alaric soon realized that he hadn't been giving proper attention to the heads behind him. As he spun around he threw the aspis up in front of his body, the shield coming up just as the gaping maw was about to slam into him. And while he was able to get the shield up in time, it did nothing to slow the impact. A sickening crack resounded across the battlefield as Alaric rolled away from the head, the aspis shattered along with his forearm. "Fucking useless" he muttered again, to nobody in particular, and began taking pot shots at the heads again.

Marina followed Aqua, swimming around the beasts legs as fast as she could. To which both of them quickly formed a vortex around the creature's legs.

With that part of the plan done, Marina made her way to the surface as well. Looking towards the ship, to where the rest of their team stood. Watching as Zane quickly jumped into action, entangling the sea creature within vines. Though the creature was all tied up, Marina kept herself on alert.

Kyle found himself in Zeus's classroom, due to being half asleep through the goings of his morning. The PowerPoint was dreadfully boring, but he managed to pint point out important details. That's when coffee appeared in front of him. Oh thank the gods. He downed it quickly not caring about the temperature. He felt energized suddenly and moved to head to the portal. When he stepped out, fuzzy gloves appeared on his hands. He looked on the team listings and saw that his team had a few people he hadn't met yet. Sighing he stepped forward and saw himself in an abandoned building now. Surrounded by his team mates he squeaked when he heard the mighty roar of the Minotaur.

Erebus
Erebus had stepped out of his office after working on the next lesson for his class. When he spotted two kids lollygagging around. He guessed they just arrived. He moved up to them and cleared his throat. The girl was distinctly like his wife, Eris. So this meant this girl was his step-child. "Eris and Notus chosen." he said simply. "Welcome to Godling Academy, where blah blah becomes gods. Come with me." he said and turned on his heels expecting them to follow.

Well he's serious. Zack thought. He followed the mysterious man. "So who are you? You seem like a dark god. Hypnos? Hades? Erebus?" He named the dark gods off the top of his head. That's right, he studied. ((This is so short I am so sorry I'm trying here but tbh this is your tour Neeks)) Olivia Kasen Olivia Kasen Nico Nico

Olivia just stood there not saying anything but watched zack try to guess who this person was. She looked around them looking at the mystical school wondering what kind of trouble she could cause there. The grin on her face grew as she thought of all the things she could do but she stopped before it was noticeable. This will be fun she thought as she curled her hair in her fingers biting her bottom lip. Ganymede Apathy Ganymede Apathy Nico Nico
