Zombies are fictional undead beings, said to be from the reanimation of human corpses. It is commonly believed zombies are man-eating, unintelligient, slow-moving monsters that weren't real and, that was the truth for a very long time. Just a myth, just fiction, just some video game enemeis, blah blah blah... Never has anything like this, however, happened before.
The Infection
A tragedy has bestruck humanity just over night. In 8 hours, an unknown disease of unknown origin has struck the state of New York, the means unknown. Nobody was prepared.
The undead apocalypse has begun. The rabies-like disease spreads through skin-breaking bites, body fluids (especially saliva) and internal contact through the living AND the dead.. There are three stages. Stage One includes mild headaches and fatigue. After twenty minutes Stage Two causes occasional pass-outs, bursts of anger and severe headaches. After 1 hour, Stage Three is the final stage. The victim experiences vomiting, extreme fatigue, extreme headaches, and eventually death.
If the brain of the victim is still in contact after death, expect them to ressurect from 20-50 minutes. The diseased walking corpses are highly aggressive to uninfected humans, and are sluggish, stupid yet dangerous in close quarters.
You are a normal person who has lived a normal life in a normal place. You wake up one morning, ready to start your daily routine. You are not yet aware. You are unprepared for the new world, for a new age. However, the dark, inevitable future has already started.
