A series of perplexing murders have taken place in the fictional town known as North Eden, all involving teens and young adults from the ages 18 all the way up to the mid-20s. The only connection between all victims were the personal struggles that ate away at their lives and have ultimately lead them to suffer as a result. No signs of struggle were present on any of the victims and it has lead the police department at a dead end.
A group of friends gradually become the focus of this phenomenon, one of the victims becoming one of their dearest friends named Rose. As they mourn, a strange girl by the name of Lilith comes to town; as she is introduced, she admits to having the ability to see the secrets, lies, and darkness within a person's heart. She is invited to Rose's funeral and suddenly reveals that the deceased girl had severe issues of her own and it eventually lead to her demise. At this epiphany the group of friends realize that not all is as it seems between all of them and hidden feelings and desires begin to plague them, tearing friendships and relationships apart as a result.
Lilith comes from a family of a special breed of magic practitioners known as the Veritanians that have the ability to delve into the mind of the human psyche in order to purify the soul and uncover the secrets from within. Someone in this town has a vendetta against the town and they won't stop at nothing until they uproot the once peaceful town and letting the secrets and lies plaguing it tear it to oblivion.
