Queen Eowyn is the queen of the faeries of Rhindeval. Her primary residence is of the kingdom Traumet, but her subjects live all over. Also she rules her own kingdom and she nor her subjects are subjective to the rule of any of the other kingdoms. She did work alongside with the other rulers. It was this women and her subjects that not only helped seal off Traumet but the other palaces around Rhindeval once Ivelda killed the rulers. She enchanted the palaces so time would stand still within them and all would fall into an enchanted sleep. Only her own kingdom wasn't put the spell so they could keep an eye on Ivelda. Eowyn herself is very powerful but due to the rules of an ancient treaty, she can only offer assistance under certain circumstances since Ivelda is a follower of one of her foes. Lilith will reach out to her prior to her and the princesses returning to Rhindeval. Eowyn IS the creator of all of the kingdoms though after the great war with the Evil Forces ended. She in turn created all of the royal families that ruled over each kingdom and granted them magic to help safeguard the land. As such if the rulers go against her or do something to harm the land, she can (and has) taken them off the throne to find better rulers. She is also immortal.

Iris is one of Queen Eowyn's most faithful followers. A clever little fairy, she loves pulling pranks on mortals and loves playing matchmaker. She was actually responsible for matchmaking Aurora's parents together. She's always had a bit of a temper on her though and was devastated when Ivelda killed all of the rulers. She would love nothing more then to see the evil enchantress pay. She'll be one of the faeries who assists Lilith and the princesses when they initially come back to Rhindeval. It should be noted that other fairies aren't immortal but do age slower than humans after they reach a certain age (which is 13). So Iris looks like she's 16, but is a LOT older than that (try well over 100 years).

Queen Selene was once the Queen of Traumet and Aurora's real mother. She was the royal in the family before marrying Aurora's father. She was always wise beyond her years and was a very graceful yet mysterious person. She also carried a burden though, Premonition. She when she sensed an impending danger she warned the sorceress Lilith, even though she didn't know exactly what that danger was. She also made plans with the fae to not only protect her kingdom but the others in some way. One of the methods was creating the pendants for the princesses and weapons for the princes. The princes' weapons were to be kept in Traumet though until needed, which the other rulers agreed to since Selene's premonitions were never wrong. When she and the royals were killed and their children kidnapped and their memories locked, the fae did their part in sealing off Traumet and the other palaces and their nearby kingdoms. While Selene wasn't the most affectionate mother to Aurora, she still loved her dearly and did her best to be a good mother.

The late king of Traumet and Aurora's father. Aurora gets her looks from him and Helios adored her. He actually wanted to spend as much time with her as he could and would purposely bring her into meetings to keep the atmosphere calm since Aurora tended to have a good affect on guests. However, he still did his duty as king. Even before he became king, he was knight of Traumet and did have magical powers of his own. He actually fell for Queen Selene the moment he laid eyes on her, but it took Iris's actions to get the two together for both were shy when it came to courting. He fought valiantly to protect his wife and daughter from Ivelda, but his power was no match for hers.

Cecilia, Aurora's maternal grandmother, was the former queen of Traumet. Her marriage to Selene's father was an arranged one and while the two did have a mutual respect for each other, they never did love each other. Who knows what might have happened though if the former king of Traumet lived though. Unfortunately he died of a rare disease when Selene was only 5, so one will never know. Cecilia was quick to take the reins of the kingdom though and instilled in her daughter the determination to be the best ruler she could be. Only downside was this didn't lead mother and daughter to be very affectionate toward each other. She was very impressed with Helios and did approve of their marriage. She did soften her attitude after Aurora was born. She was watching over Traumet when she felt the death of her daughter, which devastated her to her very core. When Eowyn tells her of her granddaughter's fate and her plan, Cecilia reluctantly goes along with it and goes into the enchanted sleep, along with the rest of Traumet. Cecilia is a master dreamwalker, a power she would pass onto Aurora.

Aelius is the younger brother of former King Helios and is captain of the guard of Traumet. Like Helios, he was also a knight and joined soon after his brother joined since the two are only a year apart. The brothers were close, although their personalities did differ since despite being the older brother, Helios was more laid back and social, and Aelius was quieter and more studious. Both took their duties serious. Aelius stoic demeanor did melt a bit when his niece Aurora was born though and he often spoiled her. He was engaged at the time of his brother's death and was shaken to his core when he felt his brother's death since he too was a magic user. He followed Queen Miranda's lead in going to sleep, waiting for Lilith and his niece to return.

The late father of Richard. It's easy to see where Richard got most of his looks from, only difference is the eyes. King Henry was definitely a charmer growing up, very gallant and mysterious in some ways. He was also the only child of his parents and thus was spoiled a bit. Henry though would soon meet his match when he met Richard's mother, Lady Bianca. This would happen after he become king. They matched wit for wit and soon, Henry found his greatest challenge was in courting Bianca, but eventually managed to win her heart. In Richard he instilled the same desire to be a true leader too help keep all of Rhindeval safe, not just Lostein. He also had some magic ability in the form of his speed for he was always fast. He was quick to defend everyone when Ivelda confronted them and one of the first to fall sadly.

Richard's late mother. Bianca was born into nobility. Her family served the Livingstones as mages in the court. Bianca's own father was head mage to Henry's father. Bianca though spent most of her childhood and teen years traveling all over Rhindeval with her other relatives. However, her father grew ill and she wasted no time in returning to Lostein to take up his spot. However, this would bring her at odds with the newly King Henry. She had a mischievous streak to her and enjoyed putting the young king in his place. It was this clever and witty behavior that won over Henry. Apparently her clever nature passed down to her son. She always got a hoot out of his behavior since it reminded her of her own childhood. Richard could never get anything past his mother though. Her magic revolved around fire mostly. Like her husband though, she too stood her ground against Ivelda until her last breath.

The late Queen Kerrigan is Meridian's mother. A strong and stubborn woman, she preferred that her daughter do 'lady-like' activities. The 2 did have 1 thing in common, both loved music so it was one thing they bonded over. Her biggest reason for not wanting Meridian to be an 'outdoor' kind of person though was because she constantly worried she would get hurt. These fears are not completely unfounded as her own mother died when she was young doing outdoor backbreaking work that was meant for men. She's wonderful when it comes to playing music and it was this talent that drew then Prince Hector to her. She was playing at a local pub in the capital when he showed up. It was love at first sight for him, but it took some good persuasion to get through to her stubborn nature, but when she did fell, she fell HARD.

The queen did have magic abilities to heal. She would actually give her life to save Meridian after the girl suffered a mortal strike against by Ivelda after attacking her, leaving Meridian traumatized by the incident.

The late father of Meridian. Rector came off very physically intimidating and he was when doing his job as king, but on the inside he's one big teddy bear, especially when it came to his wife and daughter. He encouraged Meri's independent nature, claiming he'd rather his daughter be someone others could depend on then the other way around. He did have knowledge of some earth magic, being able to enrich the soil of the land and help produce good quality produce. Still like most royal men, he learned how to fight, only his specialty had been the bo and axe, rather than the sword. Despite his physical prowess, he still proved to be no match for Ivelda. It was his death that would spur Meridian to attack Ivelda.

Shannon Linder is the current Overseer of Angalais. Originally from there, she was a servant in one of the Nobility houses. She fell for one of the sons, but he took advantage of her naive nature. He used her for his own purposes but eventually crushed her heart by telling her he was betrothed to someone else and said she was only a 'plaything'. Outraged over this, Shannon schemed. Eventually she killed her ex-lover and his wife on their wedding night. She became a wanted woman after that, but using her shapeshifting ability, she was able to get away. Loving the power and thrill she held when she killed, she became known as "The Widow Maker" when she started targeting other newlywed couples, low born or high born around the kingdom. Eventually she was caught when she got careless. Lucky for her, Angalais didn't believe in sentencing anyone to die. Regardless, she was placed in their best prison, for no one had ever escaped from there. It would be several years before the fortress would be breached, by Ivelda herself. She had heard of the infamous "Widow Maker" and knew she'd be an asset to her plans for taking over Rhindeval. Using a summoning spell, she broke Shannon out of the prison. Swearing a blood oath to the sorceress, Shannon was eventually made a noble and an Overseer of Angalais. It was her idea to institute slavery in the kingdom. She also personally takes pleasure in 'playing' with both men and women (so yes, she's bi). She's become proficient with a whip and a hatchet. She loves playing around with her shapeshifting too. She can't shapeshift into animals though, just other people.

Griffen is the leader of the biggest rebel group in Angalais. His family was originally a part of the nobility of the kingdom. His own father was a knight in the realm but tragedy strikes his family even before the loss of their rulers. When his aunt (who was the baby of the family) was wedded to his father's best friend, both were killed on their wedding night by the infamous 'Black Widow'. His father was the one to actually capture Shannon thanks his magic abilities. Griffen was only 15 when Ivelda killed the rulers and kidnapped the princes and princesses. Shannon, always one to hold a grudge, sought vengeance against Griffen's family and ended up having his entire family slaughtered, with the few survivors put into slavery, he one of them. The boy quickly became a man and managed to escape bondage with a few other slaves. Slowly but surely, he and his crew would build up their own rebellion group and found sanctuary from Ivelda and Shannon in the underground caves of Angalais. Griffen is extremely cautious in who he targets and manages to make alliances with other smaller Angalais rebellion groups to form one big one in the hopes they can overtake Shannon's troupes. While Griffen has no expectations of Lilith and princesses returning, a part of him does hope for peace in Rhindeval once again. He's currently 28.

Sebastian is the proxy for Angalais. He's the royal advisor of rulers and was the best friend of King Rector. Having grown up in the capital, his own father was the previous advisor before an accidental death led Sebastian to become advisor even before Rector took over as king. It was actually through his actions that Rector would meet Meridian's mother for he first heard Kerrigan before telling his friend about her. He was the best man at their wedding and is Meridian's godfather.

Much like Kerrigan, he always tried to make sure Meri 'behaved herself'. Hearing about his friend's death and the capture of Meridian devastated Sebastian and he was making plans to have Angalais defended when Eowyn convinced him to follow her plan before the castle was sealed away and everyone in the palace and nearby town put to sleep. Despite his youthful appearance, he is 30.

  Lyrica is Leviathan's older twin sister and the current proxy of Hortensia. She and Levi grew up on the same island as Fathia. And while the three of them were not completely friends at first, they did grow to trust each other. They only became official friends thanks to Azami. Who was able to open up the stubborn Fathia into finally accepting the fact that were friends. When Azami and Fathia rose to the throne, she was one of the first to be invited to work in the palace as them. Serving as an advisor and official artist! Whenever she had a free moment she would sit by the shore and sketch the familiar views of the water. It was her passion and was able to make a bit of a living by selling some of her paintings. She even began teaching Ziran a bit of drawing whenever she had to babysit him when his parents were busy.
  
  Hearing what happened to her dear friends along with Ziran being held hostage by his parents' very murder, absolutely broke her heart. The thought of never being able to see them or laugh alongside them was crushing, however, she knew that she couldn't stay depressed. All of their leftover business, she made it her responsibility to make sure their dreams and goals keep living even after their passing. She was soon told of a plan by Eowyn. To cast a protective barrier over the palace and the nearby town while also putting everyone in it to sleep. It was reassuring to have help, but it felt like she would be abandoning the rest of the kingdom. So, she tasked her brother with protecting the people who would remain outside of the barrier while she slept. So that everything their dear friends have worked for wouldn't be completely undone.

  Levitathan is Lyrica's younger twin brother. A lot like her, he lived on the same island as Fathia. Grew up with her and befriended both her and Azami when he eventually started coming around. However, unlike his sister, he wasn't as attached to the two. They were friends, but while she enjoyed spending time with them, he enjoyed his time alone. He wasn't much of a talker. He would help and hang out with them but enjoyed just hanging out in the background. When the two rose to the throne, Leviathan had become one of the personal guards of the new king and queen. And in turn, he could protect his sister who was always working close to them as their advisor. When Ziran was born, the young and energetic prince had become one of his highest priorities. Whenever he snuck out on the streets behind his parent's or Lyrica's back, it was usually him who ended up finding him. There were definitely times when he might have made the prince cry while scolding. But just like his obnoxious father, he couldn't stand the idea that someone didn't like him. And the more he seemed to be rude to the kid, the more he kept coming around. He wouldn't admit it, but he did like Ziran a lot. He even trained both him and his father with gauntlets. Azami...wasn't physically strong. So they trained using one of the lightest weapons around. That being gauntlets. Ziran would try his best to mimic them while watching.
  
  When he heard of what happened, he had half a mind to march right over and take the young prince back and maybe kill that wicked witch himself, thankfully, he didn't and his sister was able to keep him from running straight to his death. It was frustrating that there was nothing he could do to avenge his friends or protect Ziran. But he did have a task to do. Given from his sister what he knew the late king and queen would want. When the barrier went up, Leviathan had a small part of the royal army with him. Over time he was able to enlist and gather more people to form a proper resistance against Hortensia's new overseer and her army of people.

  BIO:

  Kalima was a part of one of the wealthiest families residing in Hortensia. They ran a monopoly business. They treated their workers, who came from a lot of the poorer islands, inhumanely and underpaid them. A lot of these islands were similar to the one that the twins and Fathia lived at. Anyone who tried to compete with them or sell similar goods to them would find their sales being sabotaged. And if that didn't stop them, threats and even violence would become their next form of action. When Kalima inherited the business the company only became much worse. She was ambitious. She wanted to have total control over Hortensia's market. Basically being on par with the influence that the royal family had over the market. However, this was quickly put to a stop when Azami took the throne. Unlike the previous rules, including his parents, that overlooked these types of business that basically enslaved the poorer less fortunate people of their country because they brought in so much money for the kingdom, Azami and Fathia wanted to create a kingdom where the rich and the poor are working together instead of always going against each other. And to start that meant they had to get rid of these toxic companies. Kalima's was one of the first companies to be shut down. And she did not like that.
  
  Her first attempt to regain her power was to try and kill the new royals. She along with a lot of the other corrupt nobles raided the palace to try and restore the power they had before. That was a terrible fail. They were quickly stopped by Leviathan and his troops. They arrested all but Kaliam, as she managed to slip away. Those who threatened the lives of the king and queen were soon executed. While the hunt for Kalmia continued. But she was close to impossible to find. They were only able to find traces of her when she attacked and attempted to gain complete control over the smaller islands. She soon became known as the sea witch. One who promised things too good to be true only to take advantage of naive and desperate people and use them to her own benefit. This continued for a long time till she was finally tracked down by Ivelda herself. With the promise of more power, she eventually accepted the deal.
  
  As the overseer of Hortensia, she has developed a pyramid-type scheme. Where poorer people are forced into doing all the hard and manual labor where she and others that she has deemed worthy enough to work with her are able to reap all the benefits. Living at the top comfortably.

  BIO:

  Azami was born into the royal family of Hortensia. The only child of the previous king and queen. As such, it was expected for him to grow up and become a strong and competent leader for his country. Sadly for them, he had other plans. Azami was a rebel. Always sneaking out and exploring the joys and sights beyond his castle walls. Despite being a prince, he wanted nothing more than to be considered as one of the common folk. Having more fun on the bustling streets in the capital than being stuck in the castle. Why would anyone ever want to be a prince? Eventually, his parents began to get seriously concerned about Azami's behavior and insisted that he be brought along during his business to learn firsthand how to be a proper king. That plan soon backfired as he met his soon-to-be best friend. A loner girl who lived on one of the poorer islands. During their stay, Azami made it his mission to befriend this girl. Being stubbornly persistent and following her around like a lost dog. Eventually, a friendship would be made and he would continue to sneak out to her island long after his parent's business on the island was done. Fathia was always the one in charge while he always took a more passive role. Two sides of the same coin who would soon rule the kingdom and begin to change it for the better together.
  
  The birth of Ziran was probably the first time in all of Azami's life that he began taking things seriously. He didn't want to be like his parents who kept trying to force the whole royal thing down his throat. But he also didn't want Ziran to become overly rebellious like he was in his youth. He made sure Ziran had a perfect balance of fun and responsibility. While Ziran may be a carbon copy of him with his wife's eyes and personality, Ziran also inherited Azami's love for festivities and friends. Two social birds that would stubbornly leach onto those they wished to befriend. The day of the party was something both of them were looking forward to the most, sadly this party would be his last. Azami was never much of a fighter, but much like his bloodline he had a special connection to nature. And he was able to call for their aid should he need to fight. He and Fathia stayed by Ziran's side to the very end. Protecting their child from the blood bath that was happening before them. And trying their best to shield him from the horrors of this manslaughter. The two would fall together. Bidding this world farewell and praying that he would not see his child on the other side so soon.

  Fathia is what most Hortensians refer to as country folk. Growing up on one of the many islands that make up this kingdom. She was headstrong and independent. Adventuring across the oceans for as long as she could remember. While Ziran definitely takes after his father's looks, he inherited a lot of his mother's personality. A caring person with a strong sense of freedom. Fathia hated the idea of being held down. Deemed that she would be fine on her own but that all changed when she met Azami. At first, she despised him. He had visited her tiny island with his family, the former king and queen, and she was quick to assume that royals and other high-class people were all stuck up and terrible. It was just what she was used to from other nobles. Fortunately for both of them, they clicked together better than they could ever imagine. The two had been friends since their early childhood, and when Azami finally came of age for the throne he proposed a deal. Azami makes Fathia his queen while he gets to keep staying by her side! It was an odd confession but it was just in that man's nature. Fathia accepted the deal finding no better joy than staying alongside her new husband's side. But she also looked forward to accomplishing the dreams they set out for each other together.
  
  Ziran was the pride and joy of her life. The little bundle of joy was pampered and coddled by his parents a lot. Even if he did have a mischievous streak. Much like her and her husband. The day they were attacked Fathia was determined to fight and protect her family to her last breath. She had great control over the element of water and fought side by side with her husband to protect their child. She and Azami fought together as a team their whole lives. Remaining as a team until their dying breaths.

Hazel was a firm but loving father and king. He, too, had a kinship with beasts, although he could only speak with serpents. That earned him the epithet "King Cobra". The affinity he had for channeling Akantha’s blessings also earner him the title of champion and the respect of every spirit in the valley. It wasn’t purely status and lineage though; each victory over the spirit lords was a hard-fought battle, and he fought tooth and nail to maintain his position in the hierarchy. Under his rule, there was a perfect balance between nature and civilization.

Athalia was a talented alchemist from the mountains surrounding the Silvani Valley. She was a compassionate queen and a loving mother beloved by all denizens of the forest. Stories are still told of the saint who stole King Cobra’s heart and brought an economic boom for the kingdom through the ethical trading of botanical alchemy ingredients. Potions, elixirs, salves and botanical spell components, all could be grown and regulated in the valley. Under her rule the kingdom flourished and the people were happy.

Akantha

As the guardian spirit of the Silvani Valley, Akantha oversees all life between the mountains. She’s the one who sits atop the hierarchy of spirits in the valley. It’s her power that flows through the bodies of each and every druid in her land. She made a covenant with the first ruler of the Elwood dynasty, promising them power if they upheld order in the Valley. That covenant was broken with the death of King Hazel. Akantha has a spirit form (snake) and a human form.

Asher Fell

The eldest cousin of the late King Hazel, Asher sold his soul to a devil in exchange for power to become the next king. His plot was discovered by the Athalia mere days before Hazel’s coronation; it wasn’t long before Asher was arrested and later tried by the Sages of Greenhaven. He was excommunicated from the sagehood and sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of consuming nature spirits, learning magic from devils, and conspiring against the Elwood Dynasty. 30 years later, Ivelda set him free and recruited him as an ally. He now oversees the Silvani Province, where he consumes spirits and uses them to produces powerful concoctions for the Queen’s army.

Karim Oak

Karim was the captain of the Silvani royal guard's ranger division. He also acted as Sylas’s childhood bodyguard. In the years after the incident, Karim has fought tirelessly against Ivelda’s forces. There were others before him who led the resistance: fellow members of the royal guard, even sages from Greenhaven. All of them lost hope or were captured by Asher. He keeps fighting the good fight in the hopes that the whispers of the spirits are true: The young prince lives, and one day he shall return to honor his covenant with Akantha.

Shula is the captain of the Chain Lynx mercenary company. She is a revolutionary at heart and believes that all vassal states should be free. With the destabilization of power on Rhivendal, she sees a perfect opportunity to help shatter the fairy queen's empire. For now, however, she supports the usurper queen and her gold-filled coffers. She’s been mentoring Sylas for years now and in many ways regards him as the son she never had. But she shows that via tough love and ruthless training, to make sure he can keep himself safe wherever he goes.

He was challenged constantly and had little time to take care of his son. the few moments they spent together were for lessons or for a progress check. Yet he would always soften when speaking to his son, and if he heard even one word or insult about his 'mad' son..he would challenge and viciously protect him. He himself believed his son was mad, but loved him none the less. Whatever was wrong, he would shape his son into a fine leader.

Not a native of the Land, Retia was at first the Court Mage of Resauk. Given to the King at the age of 18, due to a broken pact. She served the king dutifully, and was quite gifted. Especially with Runes, magical wards that she would place aroudn the kingdom to protect the inhabitants. She soon became the King's Concubine before officially being wed to the King. Many tribes and clans objected, yet they could not deny that her Runes had been very helpful in defending their settlements and keeps. Plus, she assimilated into their culture well.

She had alot of interaction with Ido. Spending time with him much in gardens and by ponds. She tutored him in runes and bestowed knowledge of the magicla arts..but mostly she just let him have fun, ply, and relax. A break in his schedule of tutoring and lessons.

The late king of Hanasaki, it's pretty obvious where Kaito got his looks from. Shuchang, or Shu as most people called him, was actually from the working class of Hanasaki. He was a lead researcher at one of the schools that would lead him to working at the royal palace itself, which is how he came into contact with his future wife. He was pretty introverted and always was nervous around a then Princess Meilin, which she often found endearing and sought to get those kinds of reactions out of him, when he finally had enough and 'put her in her place', which finally earned him the former rulers' respect for they knew just how feisty their daughter was. Finally getting to know the heir, Shu found himself falling for her but never dreamed she would return those feelings. After their marriage, Shu found that he prefer working behind the scenes more. When the couple's first born son was born, Ichiro, Shu found himself becoming more direct when it came to handling manners, especially after Kaito was born. After the death of Ichiro, Shu became very protective of Kaito, so much so he made sure the boy was never alone. Despite his high intelligence, he still died by Ivelda's hand.

Meilin, despite being the 2nd born, in her family, became the heir after her older sister preferred something else. Meilin always loved a good challenge and set high expectations for herself to be the best heir she could be; a trait she would pass down to Kaito. She immediately took a liking to her future husband but went about the wrong way of getting his attention. This eventually caused him to snap, and Meilin sought to rectify her own behavior and ended up falling for the researcher. She even got help from Shu's younger sister, who was in line to become the next captain of the guard. After the couple were married, they soon became rulers of the land. Meilin did her best to be a good mother, but with her first born, she encouraged his independent behavior. She blamed herself for his death and like her husband, became overprotective of Kaito. Unlike her husband though, she wanted Kaito to continue to train as a warrior, besides being a good scholar like Shu was. She would do her best to defend her family when Ivelda attacked but even with her own magical abilities of controlling the wind, she was still outmatched by her.

Chaoxiang, or Xiang for short, was born into a family of humble origins, but due to his ambitions for something greater, he began to look down on his family, especially when his studies led him to become an alchemist. He eventually gained enough notoriety to teach at one of the schools and it was here he came into contact with the future king of Hanasaki, Shuchang. Despite being colleagues, the two never really got along, especially when Xiang started taking greater risks to get better results. This experimentation would eventually lead to his downfall, especially when Meilin came into the picture. The alchemist thought he was more suited for the heir then Shu, and did everything he could to pursue her, even try things that were considered taboo when it came to alchemy. Meilin saw the madness that was beginning to claim him but still try to keep him on the right track. However something snapped in Xiang when he learned that Meilin chose Shu to be her husband. Mad with jealousy, Xiang sought to kill the king, but was caught by none other than the future captain of the guard, Shu's sister, and was brought to justice. He would have been sentence to death, but he managed to escape and was on the run. He eventually came into contact with Ivelda and became 100% loyal to her. Despite his obsession with Meilin, his anger towards her was greater so her death was cathartic for him. He's now the Overseer of Hanasaki and even taught his late nemesis' son, Kaito, for a time.

Hanasaki's former captain of the guard and Kaito's aunt on his father's side, Chyou grew up very much a tom boy in the family. She is pretty much total opposite of her bother when it comes to personality, but still looked up to him. At a young age she became interested in weapons since one of her uncles specialized in weapon making when it came to alchemy. She did like reading, but only when it pertains to battle strategy. She would eventually sign up to be part of the royal guard and showed promise at a very early age. She helped bring together her brother and future sister-in-law. When her brother's rival though made plans to kill him, it was Chyou who discovered this plan and stopped it, pretty much guaranteeing her Captain of the Guard position. When her nephews arrived, it was she who started training them. Ichiro's accidental death took a toll on Chyou and she started training Kaito harder, adding to need to be careful too. Chyou, being the original Proxy leader, was watching over Hanasaki when she got word of her beloved brother's death. Refusing to leave the kingdom to the whims of Ivelda, Chyou chose to not go to sleep and instead convinced Meilin's older sister to be the one inside the palace when the seals went up. She did her best to rally the people of Hanasaki to resist Ivelda as much as possible, but even her forces did eventually fall against Ivelda's forces. She retreated, taking the remnants of her army into hiding and forming a rebellion group. They hid within the underground areas of Hanasaki. In time she learned of what happened to Kaito and it broke her heart to learn he was now serving the very woman who destroyed their family. She's making efforts to reach out to the rebellion groups from other kingdoms. She still hopes for the return of Lilith and the princesses and keeps instilling that faith with her followers. Chyou is proficient in many types of weaponry.

Yanay is Kaito's aunt and the older sister of the late queen Meilin. She was originally raised to be the heir of the kingdom, when at a young age, even she didn't feel suited for the role, so when she was 8 (when Meilin was 7), she told her parents she didn't want to be queen and the pair was fine with it, but still wanted her to be raised as a Princess of Hanasaki. She expressed interest in history and their ancient texts and found her passion in working at the temples throughout the kingdom. Through her schooling at these temples, she eventually rose to the rank of High Priestess of Hanasaki. She felt her sister's death the moment it happened and it was a major blow to her. She tried insisting on 'staying awake' like Chyou, but the woman convinced her to stay inside in case something happened to her.
