Following Question

I've heard from some people that when they follow me, they get notifications when I post. Is this for everyone, or is there a setting for this? I don't get notifications when someone I follow posts, so I don't see there to be a reason to follow anyone. Can someone answer some of this(or at least say if they get notifications by those they follow/or not)?

If they posted in the same thread you posted in, they'll get an alert because they'd be following the thread. Is that what you mean?

@Mordecai Not quite, I think they described it as getting alerts when I posted an actual thread.

You actually can see when the people you follow posts, but comes up in your News Feed instead of your notifications.
