Introduction

This is a supporting character for a story I'm writing (The Oddballs). It's about an orphanage on the border between the Human and Magical realms in the middle of a war between humans and magical creatures. In hat orphanage, the children of Humans have a clique, and the Magical kids have a clique. However, there are five children who are basically half-bloods. They are classified as The Oddballs. This is their story.

  Flare is an incredibly bright young man. He is clever and bookish, and it takes a while to peel him away from his books. He's a little stuffy at times and has a habit of using abnormally large words to annoy and confuse people. He is VERY proud of the fact that he is intelligent. However, he is a hopeless romantic. He loves romance and will do almost anything to pursue it. He's also very fiery and can be scary when angered.
