 I will give a basic update on the current rulers of Hoshido and Nohr


Queen Katerina of Nohr: The first and only legitimate wife of King Garon and the current ruler of Nohr. She was often busy with military duties when her husband was alive and after she give birth to her only child, the Crowned Ruler of Nohr. King Garon was known for his polyamorous lifestyle, he had many concubines and lovers beside the Queen, but she didn't care, as long as he loved her as well as all his concubines she didn't care. But while King Garon loved all his children, he only considered his child with Queen Katerina the only legitimate ruler to Nohr, so the concubines abused and killed each other to gain the approval of the King and hopefully have their child be considered a Prince or Princess. This went on for years but due to the Queens duties she didn't even know this was happening until she became the official queen of Nohr when King Garon met his end in Cheve after a failed peace treaty between hoshido and Nohr. When she became Queen she was horrified about the treatment of the children and weaker concubines so thew Queen had all the violent and Abusive Concubines executed and the rest given a warning, she also adopted all of the reminding children (4) as her own and raised. She also raised two hoshidan royal children who were kidnapped during the failed peace treaty,  they were taken without her blessing but she considered it good luck, they had leverage over Hoshido with their kidnapped Princess and prince. But not long after the Queen started to raise the two children as her own did Hoshdians kidnapped one of her adopted children, a child from King Garon's Favorite Concubine, Arete, A songstress from a faraway land. While the queen tried to negotiate the child safe return she couldn't agree to the terms and she was forced to leave the child in Hoshido. Queen Katerina never tried to brainwash the hoshidan royals with torture or magic, she raised them to believe that Hoshido was evil and uncaring. One believed her, another didn't.


King Sumeragi and Queen Ikona: The King of Hoshido. King Sumeragi is the father of six children, Four with his first wife, Ikona and two with his second wife, Mikoto. The king loved both of his wives and all of his children. During the peace treaty, he originally wanted to go, but his second wife went in his stead. For his safety and for another unknown reason only she knew. But that reason will never be known since Mikoto died in the peace treaty and her two children were kidnapped. The king wanted go to war but Ikona advised him not to, for that was something Mikoto wouldn't have wanted. Instead the King and his first wife tried to get their children back but it didn't work, the guards on the two siblings were too strong to break though so instead they kidnapped the unwatched adopted children of the queen, they kidnapped the one that around their children's age. At first the Hoshidans didn't trust the kidnapped child but when the negotiations didn't work the King adopted the child raising them as his own, Ikona was colder towards the child, but she never hurt the child.

Madoka is a tall man with long black hair and dark grayish eyes. He always wears his white ceremonial robes and head piece. Half the time his face is hidden by his robes giving him an air of mystery, but never maliciously so.

Personality:

Madoka is a calm man, his temperament is even and cool even in the most temperamental of situations, he rarely shows anger, confusion or fear on his face or body. He is a very supportive person, always willing to give somebody the time of day to listen to or to let them cry on his shoulders or giving them a small snack or drink if he noticed they haven't drank or eaten that but no matter what he will listen to them. He is a very self aware person, he knows his flaws and strength well and won't do anything that's outside his limits or boundaries, he knows where he belongs to others and he will not over step it. but he does have a bad habit of being too selfless, he let's people use him and take advantage of his kindness and he won't get angry if he learns that they doing that. He also has a bad habit of being forgetful, he forgets minor or majors details about people even their names if he just heard it moments ago, he also has a habit of forgetting to doing something important even if he leaves reminders all over the place for him to remember. He can also be rather wishy-washy, while it comes to his kingdom he determined and a good ruler, but when it comes to down to earth interactions and choices he is indecisive and has no force to his personalty often being controlled to choose something by others.

It's a little hard for him to open up, but he's a brave and loyal man and isn't afraid to show it in battle.

Appearance: Her hair is colored light yellow. Her eyes are colored Amber. She is tall and skinny. Her armor is colored black with gold.


Personality: She cares a lot of herself and her siblings. She is a strong and brave person. She is very open about herself. She likes to tease her siblings. She gets serious about different things like her kingdom or when she is about to go to battle to defend her kingdom but she shows honor when in combat and lives by it. She is very friendly and easy going. She can be seductive to her enemies to get information or to anyone but not her siblings.

Appearance:

Athena wears a light blue mantle around her neck, the insides being red and the trims being gold. She has blue hair that travels to her neck and shoulders. Along her left shoulder, is a black steel shoulder guard with gold plating on top of it. On both of her hands, are fingerless black gloves, with a golden bracer on her right, and a iron armguard on her left. Her skin is rather fair in it's complexion. Athena also has purple irises, as well as dark blue hair that travels to her neck and shoulders. Her attire is blue royal garbs, with white tights and matching white boots with black and gold designs. 


Personality: Athena is formal, honorable, and heroic, as befitting for a princess like him. She is actively suppressing his emotions, as she thinks that she must do so in order to win any confrontations or a war. She does not concern herself with women and romance, instead choosing to focus on her battles and training to grow stronger. The reason as to why she trains is quite simple, she feel as though she doesn't deserve to be apart of the Nohrian royal legacy. First, is the fact she has a... rather weird taste of partners, which would bring shame to Garon and the kingdom for a royal to love someone of the same gender. The other reason, is that she feels that out of all the royals... she is the weakest of them all. So, she trains and trains to become strong, and to prove herself to others and to Garon, who despite being her father, she is quite afraid of him when he is present.
