Rules

  • This is meant to be a easy going group. Oc's and of course Canon characters are welcome I just ask we be respectful.
  • I will accept appearances of Awakening characters especially if you decide to play any of the awakening kids as retainers to the fates royalty. I may be open to the rest of the series but only in the sense of the Fates cast meeting them by meets of outrealms and through FE:heros. The longevity of this could vary but I would be open to it.
  • One player per character please I will do my best to keep a list of every character and their player. However everyone is welcome to play more then one character.
Hopefully thats everything I'll add things as they come up this is the first time doing something like this on a forum so be patient with me.

Story
Story

Tensions between Nohr and Hoshido have walked a precarious line for many years, with the prosperous Hoshido being the envy of Nohr that was slowly running out of resources and the people are suffering for it. For Hoshido's part, they don't feel it is their concern and want to keep their culture and home guarded from those who would try to destroy it.

But with rumblings of a third party lingering in the remains of the kingdom of Valla attempting to spark hostilities between the kingdoms, King Sumeragi decided to extend an alliance to the Nohrian King, Garon offering resources as well as the hand of his daughter, Yuna, to wed the crown prince. In exchange Garon would provide forces to handle this mysterious third party and any potential enemies looking for any weakness between the two kingdoms.

Between that and the strange rifts and strangers of unknown origins seeming to come from them, there is not a dull moment in the kingdoms.

Name: Yuna (Filling in the position of Corrin)
Sex: Female
Birthday: December 14th
Class: Samurai/Swordmaster
Personality:
Despite being royalty, Yuna is known for her common touch and preferring to spend time among the people, whether its in disguise or not, it isn't uncommon to see her working in the fields with farmers or playing with local children.
She carries herself with grace and kindness, Yuna is determined and headstrong and always ready to fight for something she believes in and isn't afraid to speak her mind. It has taken her time to to learn how to do so with tact and careful diplomacy. However she does have her moments of impatience and rashness that does lead her to conflict with those she cares about or with someone she is trying to be diplomatic with.
Very family oriented
Studious and curious by nature as well as martially adept.
Has a bad sense of humor that consists of mostly puns
Was known to be tomboyish in her youth however she has made an effort to be more feminine however Takumi will be the first to remind her of the shenanigans she got up to as a child.
Backstory: Being the only daughter of King Sumeragi and Queen Mikoto, Yuna has lived the life one would expect from a princess, if a rather rambunctious one. Learning academics, how to wield and fighting with a katana and importantly how to interact with the common man.
Face claim: Rukia

Name:
Takumi

Sex:
Male

Birthday:
December 14th

Class:
Archer

Personality:
Takumi bears the burden of most second sons of noble families: the burden of being in the shadow of his family. The shadow of his older brother, Ryoma, of his sister Yuna, of his cousins, of his very lineage. Takumi has always lived under them, just the prince who's only notable feature was his use of the Fujin Yumi. Everything he was, his hopes, dreams, desires...summed up by some family heirloom. And he hates it. ANd he makes sure eveyrone knows this. Takumi is blunt, abrasive, and deeply cynical to his very core. It's rare he ever has a good thing to say about anything, and when he does it's often forced out. But this is all borne from his deep love for his family and country. All he desires is to be recognized by the two things he loves most as someone of value, of quality. And his enemies may never know a force as destructive as Takumi, once his wrath has been earned.

Briefing on backstory:
Takumi was the second son of the Hoshido royal family, and as such free from the responsibilities of inheriting the throne. But with this game added pressure to make something of himself. His naturally quiet demeanor meant he was often overlooked in favor of his more confident older brother Ryoma, or his more rambunctious twin Yuna. Despite this, Takumi dedicated himself full sale to the art of the bow, and with blood sweat and tears earned the right to wield the Fujin Yumi, one of the sacred heirlooms of his family.

(Outfit isn’t canon. Just the best I could make with Piccrew)
Lovella
Retainer of Yuna

Name
Lovella
Seeing as Wolfskin packs often view each other as a unified family, by spirit if not by blood, no member of the pack has a last name. Rather they have titles that indicate either their heritage (such as “Daughter/Child of Clover and Fenrir”) or their role/job in the pack with Lovella’s current title being based on her current occupation as Yuna’s retainer with using her title that indicates her heritage leading to… not the best memories.

Class
Wolfskin

Boon
Sturdy

Bane
Unlucky

Personality
A serious and straightforward individual, Lovella is constantly striving towards betterment, especially when it comes to her duties as a retainer. Specifically, while she regards her duties as a retainer as simply her replaying a favor and she simply does not want to be careless with repaying it, she truly cares for the princess and those who took her in after she was kidnapped by poachers, viewing them as the closest thing she has to family at the moment and does not want to risk loosing them. She values hard work and applies herself completely to everything she does. That said, her diligence overcompensates for her complete utter lack of tact. From having little to no filter to struggling to understand and exhibit Hoshidan and Nohrian formalities with the kingdoms’ society being much more complex compared to the pack society Lovella was used to, a slip up is inevitable for the Wolfskin retainer. That does not stop her from doing her best however.

That said, due to her background, Lovella is generally distrustful of others. This can lead to her being much more aggressive to strangers, quite protective of her loved ones, and generally suspicious of any gestures shown to her if she has not grown to trust the person yet. She has attempted to control her temper lately due to Yuna’s role being focused on public relations with her doing her best to not pick fights and mind her manners around superiors.

At the same time, while Yuna does her best to be a competent retainer and soldier, she relies more on instinct more than intellect. She shows no judgement towards those who prefer to remain cautious and/or plan ahead yet she often struggles with doing the same, never having been the best with creative thinking and strategizing, instead often impulsively running into things headfirst and figure things out on the way. While this mindset may help her in a pinch, it makes her a bit of a slow learner. That said, her brawn as a Wolfskin often makes up for her brains as her abilities allow her to serve as a more tanky fighter.

Trivia
•Lovella was raised in a Wolfskin village near Nohr (same one led by Keaton). However, some years ago, her family and her were ambushed and kidnapped by poachers while hunting. When she was found and saved by Hoshidan forces, she was the only one who survived. Weak from her capture and far from her home with her pack having assumed her to be dead, Lovella was offered stay in Hoshido.

•Immediately distrustful of the kind gesture but having nowhere to go, Lovella quickly rose up to offering her services, assuming Yuna and the other royals would not be so kind to her without expecting something in return. This led to her becoming Yuna’s retainer, a role she slowly grew into as she grew to trust the princess and care for her.

•Deadly loyal. If you earn her trust, you better respect it cause she will go to the ends of the earth for you. That said, betray her, and she will never forgive you.

•Lovella’s tail and ears are quite reactive, being a good indicator for her emotions.

•Lacks table manners

•Having not had much experience with human technology outside of simple weaponry, Lovella can’t help but be rather curious about those aspects of human culture, often informally training with these weapons instead of her Beaststone just to see how it feels to wield one of these weapons (she still shows a preference for close combat stuff). She especially is interested in magic and machinery considering how different the magic they yield seems from the magic she is used to conducting through her Beaststone and how foreign machinery is to her.

•Struggles with being still

•Despite her more stoic demeanor, Lovella is pretty easy to make laugh, finding just about any joke funny.

•Lovella is just generally a curious soul, often collecting the various objects that grab her attention and enjoys learning about them as well as just holding onto them.

•Just a small lore idea but maybe while Nohr is closer, there are less poachers in the area due to how strictly laws are enforced with the underground illegal trade happening mainly in Hoshido or areas in between with Nohrian nobles occasionally paying Hoshidan poachers and traders for furs with the rewards often making the far trip worth it. I thought this could make Nohr and Hoshido feel a bit more balanced in terms of morality with crime like this being a bit more prevalent in Hoshido as well as explaining why Yuna’s forces were able to intercept the poachers who captured Lovella when her village is so far away.
