Fate/Stay Night and the unlikely franchise which branched off the original visual novel is incredibly popular. To explain the concept: servants - historical figures, both real and literary - are summoned to assist in Grail Wars, literal fights to the death to win the Holy Grail, in this setting a wish granting device.
This idea, more or less, is to explore through OC's the setting of the third grail war, which in the franchise occurs during WW2. The servant classes will be the same (Saber, Lancer, Archer, Assassin, Caster, Rider, and Berserker), but masters will not be required to be mages. I'll set a cut off date for about 1862 for servants, meaning that historical/mythological/literary figures who weren't famous or dead by that date will be excluded.
I can go into more detail as interest trickles in. But for now, does this appeal to anyone?
