Severia
May you, the beauty of this world, always shine.
Surprisingly, the attack easily landed. She totally didn't expect the opposing servant to face her attack without the slightest attempt to dodge or block it, and was even more dumbfounded when the bowman grabbed her spear and held it firmly, despite just being stabbed precisely in the heart -a spiritual core-. However, she wasn't someone who was driven by emotions. As the kick arrived, Lancer loosened the hand that was holding the spear and nonchalantly left it to Archer. She momentarily thought about dodging, but the idea was discarded as she decided to gauge her enemy's power...
After being sent back a few meters, Lancer still had the same eyes she was having when Archer first showed up, a pair of unwavering, unemotional eye in spite of its owner's bad situation. Despite being something new, Lancer quickly adapted her way of thinking to suit the grail's information as she soundlessly analysed her enemy based on their brief exchange. It seemed her enemy has high overall parameters even though he being the Archer class that should despise close combat. His strength is impressive, far surpassing her own and befitting that muscular build. What's more, that level of endurance and regeneration shown just now is certainly something... So that's it, he also has some sort of defensive Noble Phantasm or Personal Skill.
Lancer then looked at her spear in the bowman's hand. She didn't have some convenient method like abandoning it and summoning the new one, so she decided to take it back in the most convenient way- from the corpse.
Thinking of her master who should have been in the middle of a duel against another magus, Lancer decided not to ask for permission to use "it" and caused her to lose focus. She opened her mouth at the same time that both servants' eyes met, and the next thing she knew, the spear was already back in her hand.
"Thanks"
A confident sound escaped the girl's lip for the first time. While there is a possibility that Archer did it out of overconfidence, Lancer only saw it as a chivalrous act, and that's when everything changed.
After a few swings and spins, Lancer heard the provocation. Now that she permitted herself, the black-haired servant's lip curled in response to it. As the arrow teared down the air between them, Lancer didn't move her leg an inch. She simply raised her spear with both hands.
And slashed.
A loud explosion echoed through the area which was once again filled with smoke. At that moment, Lancer appeared in front of Archer, unscathed. With this exceptional speed, it shouldn't be that hard to dodge that arrow or to launch a surprise attack from behind Archer's back.
She just had to return a favor.
Their eyes met as Lancer extended her arms to her side. The attack she used and failed was a thrust, spears' optimal attack that utilize their blade shape, range advantage and in her case, momentum, to their fullest. What she used now was a swing aiming for a cut. While it is normally less efficient than thrusting, the very spear in her hand is an exception. The moment that the incoming arrow was in front of her flashed through her mind.
That moment, everything was cut down; the arrow itself, vector, impact, and even possible curses and spells associated with it. All were cut in favor of this spear's legend.
Lancer swung her weapon at Archer's torso. Judged from their previous encounter, the bowman might nonchalantly take the hit again. but this time it would spell his doom.
