Due to compromises, eternity is back
The UNSC Eternity is one of the 2 infinity class starships. It boasts the ability to become its own military if need be
The total known estimate of Troops aboard eternity is 7,150. The majority of its forces are marines, estimated total being at 5,400. With 750 special forces ODSTs, 800 army troopers, and 200 airforce personnel. Along with 50 spartans. The captain of this vessel is Commander Aya Faye. The General of the vessels main military forces commanding officers(Colonels of the marines/ODSTs, and majors of the army and airforce.), Kodi Richard. See reference picture for more details.

The Eternity was on its way back from a test flight(going from earth to Reach's remnants. It went into slipspace and somehow entered a portal to this unknown universe. The crew, before entering the portal, went into cryo sleep. When they came out of the portal the time to wake up malfunctioned, and the ships AI going offline for the time being. The portal opened up far from the spot it was supposed to open, leaving the ship to drift in space.
