Hibiki, much like his grandmother Mirajane, is a very skilled user of the Satan Soul full body takeover techniques.


 


 -Satan Soul-


Hibiki's standard Satan Soul.


 Darkness Stream: Hibiki extends his hand towards the opponent and summons forth his Magic Seal underneath his opponent, where a multitude of large tendrils composed of dark energy is formed, which surround and envelope the opponent.


 


Soul Extinctor: Hibiki initiates this attack by gathering energy from the surrounding area between his hands, which subsequently takes the form of a large, black globe. The globe then fires a large black-purple beam that generates a devastating explosion


 


Evil Explosion: Hibiki holds his hands together and a dark coloured sphere gathers on his palm. When fired, it is fired from Hibiki's hand. The receding explosion is devastating


 


Demon Blast:  A large ball of dark energy is charged between Hibiki's hands, from which a dark purple beam is fired towards the target.


 


Satanic Blast: Hibiki raises his hand above his head and starts charging Darkness Magic in the form of a sphere that grows larger as it charges. The user then aims the hand at the target, sending a large blast at the target that then becomes a huge pillar of Darkness Magic covering the entire area.


 


Dark Deflect: Focusing the incoming attack on his eye, Hibiki redirects the incoming spell, missing the intended target.


 


Evil Spark: A melee spell in which Hibiki extends both of his hands to touch the opponent, subsequently channelling electricity through them.


 


-Satan Soul: Halphas-


 Hibiki's second strongest form. It's strength lies within its speed, striking and defending power.


 

Halphas Appearance


[SIZE= 16px]A form that allows the user to take over the appearance, abilities and powers of the demon Halphas. In such state, the users' ears are covered by sky long blue scales, extending backwards, and gain pointed edges, bearing resemblance to those of fictional elfs. Users also gain similar scale-like armor in their forearms and hands as well as in their legs. Each forearm also receives a fin-like protrusion on its outer side. They also grow a large, sky blue, stocky tail seemingly made of metal plates or scales, getting smaller and smaller near its end. The clothes also change, with any attire the user might be donning being replaced by a light blue and dark blue, scaled armour that completely covers their body. This Satan Soul form also dons two draconic angel-like wings that are always pointing upwards.[/SIZE]

 


Darkness Magic: When in  this form, Hibiki is capable of using darkness magic to augment his physical combat capabilities. He can also create very powerful blasts and shields.

Cosmic Blast: Hibiki charges cosmic like energy that is fired towards the target and causes a massive explosion. He is also capable of firing blue coloured magical projectiles to rain down on a target, powerful enough do damage and destroy the surrounding area.


 


-Satan Soul: Sitri-


This form is one of Hibiki's strongest forms, and it excels the previous two by a large amount. The demonic flames generated upon activation amplify the physical damage he can cause and can also be manipulated. 


 

Sitri Appearance


[SIZE= 16px]In Hibiki's case, the spell alters his appearance considerably. He becomes taller and more massive, with his facial features and expression changing accordingly and gaining a sinister look. He gains a fair amount of thin markings on his arms, as well as much longer and scruffier hair, jutting outwards in many spiky, rounded tufts. His torso and part of his lower body are covered by a dark overcoat with light edges, which is torn in its lower ends. The coat comes with notably squared short sleeves, with their outer parts extending on his arms in a spiky protrusion, vaguely reminiscent of pauldrons due to their sharp shape. The open coat is circled and secured to Hibiki's abdomen by a light belt closed by a simple buckle, while a similar though mildly larger belt circling his waist holds up a light garment, covering the back and side parts of his coat. Hanging from his shoulders is a large dark cape, possessing torn lower edges not unlike his coat. Armour plating goes up from Hibiki's neck, forming three spikes on his chin and extending to cover his ears, flanking his face, with two large, armored horn-like protrusions jutting outwards at its sides. Hibiki's forearms sport armored gauntlets almost identical to those he wears in his standard Satan Soul form. His legs appear to become covered in large, dark tattoos, resembling the shape of thigh-high boots; such markings might as well be motifs present on a pair of long, skin-tight pants. The most distinctive element of this already peculiar transformation, however, are his feet: these are completely obscured from sight, and his calves instead end in a sea of sharp flames, enveloping the ground in the immediate area around Hibiki, with their tongues reaching up to the upper back of male in height. Each leg also bears four small, light vertical lines placed one near the other on the front, where the feet themselves are supposed to be.[/SIZE]

 


 Immense Strength/Speed: When in this form, Hibiki becomes so fast that his speeds are practically untraceable even by mages of Saint level, and it appears as though he is teleporting about. His strength surpasses his other two souls by a long shot.


 


Demonic Flame Augmentation and Manipulation: Hibiki can use the demonic flames that burst and burn around his feet to augment his speed, and the power of his kicks tenfold, he has also developed the ability to freely control these flames, and use them to augment his punches as well, something Mirajane couldnt do herself.


 


Dark Magic: Hibiki can use dark magic similar to the spells he can use in other souls, however, the destruction that can be caused is incredibly horrifying, and thus, its something he'll never really think about doing.


 


-Satan Soul: Seilah-


 This Satan Soul spell allows Hibiki to utilise the spells and abilities of the Etherious Seilah, as well as don the demons appearance. In this form, Hibiki can make use of the Macro Curse. 


 

Seilah Appearance


[SIZE= 16px]When in this form, two large gold horns protrude from Hibiki's head and his hair becomes much longer and black in colour. A circular symbol forms on his forehead with a dot in the centre, and then more dots around the top of the symbol. His attire changes to that of a long blue yukata, that drapes down to the ground.[/SIZE]

This Satan Soul spell allows Hibiki to utilise the spells and abilities of the Etherious Tempester as well as don the demons appearance. In this form, Hibiki can make use of the Calamity Curse. 


 

Tempester Appearance


Appearing as a very handsome, dark skinned young man. Donning green hair that reached just past the neck and sustaining a muscle-bound chest and arms. In this form, Hibiki's attire changes much like it does with the others. He now wears a black, sleavless collared shirt with a black slime-like highlights and a short tie. He also wears matching straps secured and tied around his forearms and a pair of black shoes.

 


Calamity Curse



 


-Satan Soul: "The Underworld King", "Definitive Demon" Mard Geer Tartaros-


 


This Satan Soul spell allows Hibiki to utilise the spells and abilities of the Etherious Mard Geer Tartaros as well as don his appearance. In this form, Hibiki can make use of the Thorn Curse. This Soul is Hibiki's strongest soul, and it surpasses all of his previous souls immensely in all aspects. Due to its sheer power, Hibiki has vowed to only ever use this soul for the sake of Fairy Heart, Fairy Tail, and when absolutely necessary. Additionally, as well as having access to the Thorn Curse, Hibiki is also able to use Telepathy Magic whilst utilising it.


 

Mard Geer Appearance


Mard Geer is tall, lean and has the appearance of a young man. Often seen wearing a smirk, Mard's black hair is long and wavy, reaching his shoulders even whilst the majority is tied up in a very large ponytail. Additionally, his messy bangs all but obscure his dark, slanted eyes.


For clothing, Mard dons a long, black jacket trimmed with a light-colored flame pattern; the lapels are a matching lighter color as well. The cuffs of his jacket are rolled up, revealing a light-colored inside, which contrasts the black outside of his jacket, and have a black line cutting through the edge of the fabric. The jacket itself is tattered and splits into four torn fabric segments at the tail. Beneath the jacket, Mard wears a frilly black v-necked shirt, lined in a lighter color, that closes down the middle and is adorned with a buckle just below his clavicle; just below this is a piece of fabric that Mard keeps over this shirt but under his jacket, that circles the majority of the lower half of his torso. The rest of his attire is simple, consisting of light-colored pants that lay lazily over the top of rather plain black boots and have, on each leg, a seam running down the middle, as well as two pairs of buckles that form an X on the thigh and lower calf. However, the buckles on each thigh later disappear, leaving only the ones on each calf.

This staff is a relic of Fairy Heart, and Tenroujima Island. Created by Mavis Vermillion as a gift to the guild, and Hibiki himself, this  beautiful and ornate staff was crafted from the wood of The Great Tenrou Tree and topped with a glistening golden array of rings. This staff of imbued with the kind and warm magic of Mavis Vermillion herself. The staff is virtually indestructible, and can only be wielded by someone with Mavis' blessing. Although the weapon itself is deemed indestructible by normal means, that doesn't mean it is totally resistant of damage. If the Tenroujima Tree comes under harm in any way, the magic of the staff will weaken. If the tree is destroyed somehow, the staff will snap in two.


Light Magic: The staff inhibits the ability of using powerful light magic for defensive and offensive purposes. The wielder of the staff can do many things such as creating strong barriers out of light, or perhaps send large blasts of scorching light towards a foe. The power of its attacks are strengthened when the weirder is around other members of the guild. 


Key To Tenrou: The staff is also a key of sorts, as it enables the weirder to create a one way portal that will take them back to Tenroujima Island from wherever their location is. Those who don the Fairy Heart and Fairy Tail guild mark can freely use it once summoned, however anyone else has to be viewed an ally by the heart. 


Summoning: The staff can be summoned at will by its owner at any given time. It can also vanish from the owners grasp and go back to Tenrou Island if the user wills it.

 


Personality
Hibiki is a very kind person who can sometimes come across as very brutish. He also tends to be quite intimidating at times but everyone knows to just brush that off. He is quite headstrong and stubborn, he isn't one to back down from a task or a competition, and will most certainly give it his all. Hibiki is incredibly protective over his "Family", the mages of Fairy Tail, and will gladly fight to the death in order to ensure that they are kept safe and out of harms way. Much like his grandfather and great-grandfather, Hibiki is very proud of the guild and everyone within it, and despises it when someone bad mouths it. Hibiki is known not to ever back down, even if he is losing in a fight, he will continue on until he is physically unable to do so.


 


Biography
Hibiki grew up in Magnolia with his sister Rosaline Dreyar, much like his ancestors and pretty much his whole family. Hibiki is the grandchild of Laxus Dreyar and Mirajane Strauss, and was practically raised by them as a child. His parents were never really there, his father left home when he was born and never returned, his mother was unable to work and look after the baby, so she was forced to give him to his grandparents as they were able to provide a better life for him. Growing up, Hibiki was taught magic from his grandfather and grandmother and thus managed to pick up their magic almost completely after hard years of training and perseverance. Moreso his grandmothers though. Due to his families huge involvement with the guild, Hibiki has practically always been a member of it, not knowing anything other than the life of a Fairy Tail Mage. When he reached the age of 10, his grandfather died, soon to be followed by his grandmother a year later. Since that day he has stayed with Fairy Tail, they are his family. And he will defend them until his dying breath.


 


(As per the events of the original roleplay, Hibiki had long since left Fairy Tail to fulfil a task given to him by Mavis Vermillion. To go to Tenroujima Island and seal the wounds inflicted on the land, to nurture it back to health and too make it the sight of a prosperous society once more. The Fairy Heart.)

Wind Magic/Beast Magic


Lander uses a combination of both Wind magic and Beast magic to accomplish his goals. Some days he will use Wind magic to enhance himself and his beast magic to fight or he will use his Beast magic to enhance himself and use his Wind magic to fight. It depends on how he feels and what the situation demands. When he pairs up both of his powers to enhance himself his strength is seemingly unmatched by others but he tends to fight more head on.  If he uses both of his powers to fight then he his body becomes an easy target.


 


Wind Magic: Lander uses wind magic to many different things. It is capable of enhancing it's user and fighting. It can make it's user extremely fast and make their attacks even more power. The force behind every blow is increased by wind magic and the speed of the attacks if far greater than normal. Wind magic can also be used to make it's user fly. Besides being able to enhance it's user wind magic is also able to fight others it is capable of fighting others. It's can be used to create vortexes and form high winds that can tear buildings off of their foundation and tear metal apart.


 


Wind Dance: This spell allows him to move up to sixty miles an hour and if he pushes himself he is capable of running faster. However, pushing himself means using more magic and having a reason to push further.


 


Wind Vortex: He can create small vortexes to either cause destruction or to protect people with in them. As long as someone is in the middle of the vortex they are safe from harm but anything out side of the vortex will be ripped from the ground and then be thrown through the air. The wind speeds inside of the vortex can reach 60 miles an hour and higher.


 


Sand Storm: Despite it's name the spell doesn't use any dust instead it uses wind speeds that are fast enough to wear a way metal. It feels like being blasted by sand and being torn apart at the same time.


 


Beast Magic


Beast magic allows it's users to manipulate animals and themselves. It is great for fighting and being use to support others. The user is capable of enhancing themselves along with animals and can even talk to any animal. Animals will come to the users needs when they call to them and it can be used to heal others, although it is more costly to do so. It also makes the user more in tuned with their senses. There smell is far greater than a normal human as well as their sense of sight, touch and hearing.


 


Beast summoning: This spell summons several animals to Lander's side. He can summon one if he chose or he can summon at most three. It can be used to any normal animal but works better with animals that he has a connection with.


 


Beast Manipulation: With this power Lander is capable of changing an animal into a more powerful beast. However, he is only able to change birds with this power and he can only change two at a time.(Shown below)

The beast becomes as durable as the caster, and the caster can chose to take any damage that the beast may take. The beast is capable of flying and carrying two people on it's back. It's claws are very deadly and can cut threw metal as though it was no more than butter. It's vision is as good as an eagle's can see it's target from high up in the sky.


 


Self Manipulation: This spell enhances Lander's muscle mass, which gives him more brute strength. He can also turn his arms in to talons and form wings if he needs them. If he uses this spell to make talons they are similar to his beast and can easily cut threw metal. When he uses it to have wings he is able to carry another person while he flies.


 


Energy Transfer: His last spell is a form of restoration but it comes with a cost. Who ever the spell is used on needs someone who is willing to sacrifice their own energy to heal them. If some one wants to save another person from near death then they would need to sacrifice enough energy that they were dying themselves.


 


Personality:


Lander is extremely caring and loves to take care of his guild members. His claims that his resolves is unmatched by any other. So long as there is breath in his body he will fight if it means helping others. Besides having a powerful resolve Lander is a easy going person who loves to joke around with others. He loves his animals and treats them as though they are equal to him self. He can be seen playing with them or taking care of them when he isn't busy doing others things.


 


Bio:


Lander was born as an only child to his mother and his father was never in the picture. For a long time Lander's mother relied on her son to take care of her. she had grown ill when he was ten and had to be taken care of constantly. He would work any job he was given to earn money order to care for the two of them. He struggled to get her medicine and one day learned how to heal her at his own sacrifice. Every day while she was a sleep he would transfer his energy to her. Slow his treatment worked and she was able to over come her illness.


 


Once his mother recovered he attended a normal school, and had to study hard to get on track with the other students. By the time he was fifteen he was ahead of his fellow class mates. However, even though he was achieving great things his home life began to go down hill. His mother began dating and chose the wrong man. The man was abusive to her and her son but she refused to leave him and by the time Lander was sixteen he was kicked from the house.


 


Instead of being defenseless Lander had been practicing magic for several years before he was kicked out, dating back to when his mother was ill. His magic was advance enough to ensure that he could survive on his own and he had been working his hardest to become a powerful wizard. Also during that time he had learned how to handle a sword. When he heard of the dark guilds he thought that he should do everything in his power to bring their downfall in order to protect others. To do this he joined the Fairy Hearts.

Satan Soul forms;Naberius; Attack type demonic form; capable of flight and uses gravity control as well as being able to sustain heavy physical attacks, wields a scythe for close combat; speed is extremely enhanced almost to the point of seeming like teleportation. Lyra is fully able to control this form but struggles to keep control when forced into it due to heightened emotion. Physical fighting attributes and magic pool is enhanced in this state.Phenex; A defensive type demonic form; able to link with another person and redirect any damage to them upon herself in their stead. Bound by chains when in this form and only able to move about within the length the chains will allow her; a singular chain that doesn't inhibit a teammates movement being attached to them, it's more of a spiritual chain to establish the link. Main weakness, being attacked directly as she can barely counter due to limited movement. Take note that her defenses are extremely high in this form so it would take a lot to render her unconscious. This is her more childish form; seeming less intimidating than the others. Can only use defense like abilities in this form, giving up any offensive abilities to act as a shield.Forneus; last ditch effort, unable to hold this form for long without it depleting her magic completely; though it will refresh any magic lost before used so she can sustain it for five minutes. ( Two to three posts ) Completely catastrophic but Lyra is mentally no longer herself in this form, the demon it hails from being stronger than she is. She has a few more satan souls but they lay dormant within her, not having been released yet and being unknown to her as of current.Chameleon; When magics are used on her, she's able to gain resistances to it; not immunity, just resistances. Hair changes colour depending on the magic being used. Her hair remains a snow white until then, being void of colour.Transformation Magic; Advanced.Sleep Magic; Able to put others to sleep.Virus; Black Magic: Virus is an extremely sinister form of Black Magic which allows the user to create a virus anywhere in the opponent's body, eating at the victim from the inside. The user can also target multiple enemies at a time. The effects are dependent on the organs affected; Lyra's version of this isn't as fatal as she can only cause severe distress to organs and pain within someone's body, and not render them brain dead or cause complete failure of an organ. The effects appear to be absolute unless the user cancels the casting of their Magic or unless the virus itself is removed from a person's body by magic that allows one to do so, such as Sky Dragon Slayer magic.Personality;
Lyra's voice is more like a whisper, which causes people to think she is shy and innocent though that isn't entirely the case. She loves to play harmless tricks on people and is very good at not getting caught in doing so. She's absolutely goofy and outgoing, usually hitching a ride on Hibiki's back as she loves to pester her teammate, but being weightless makes it no hassle for the boy so if he complains then he's just being dramatic. Lyra has never turned down a challenge due to a pride issue and is the type to speak up for others when she feels they've been wronged. Besides how terrifying she can be or appear when using Satan Soul she is actually quite gentle and caring to those she knows, her emotions being something that highly fuel her and are known to spiral out of control. If one didn't know of her magic, they would be quite surprised when they see it for the first time as it's quite a 180 from her normal persona. She is quite carefree but has a quick temper that is accompanied by a short attention span as she can go from furious to mischievous in a moment.Bio;
Lyra lived in the mountains with her parents for quite some time, being hidden from the world until some of her magic was under control. This was due to her previous village shunning them for her 'demonic' like nature, finding her forms terrifying and hideous to gaze upon. Lyra had a lot of reassurance from her parents which made her feel more confident but she still found it hard not to find her magic ugly from all of the negative reactions she'd gotten. When she got a bit older, she pleaded with her parents to allow her to leave the mountains and become part of the magical world, wanting to join a guild desperately. They finally accepted and it was then that she wandered off to find a 'home', a place of belonging, a guild. Her eyes seemed to be set on Fairy Tail, as she'd heard a ton of rumors about their feats as well as their destructive behaviour, knowing this would be the best place for someone like her to be able to fit into. She became a member of the guild at the age of thirteen, settling in there quite quickly thanks to the help of some of the members.
Naturally she found herself drawn to one member in particular, Hibiki, sharing the same type of magic being a bond that caused them to become partners after a few years of growing comfortable with one another. He helped her feel less ashamed of her transformations and more grateful to have them as a part of her. Because of this, he's one of the few people whom she allows to see her without her 'mask' on.

The cards seem to have minds of their own and in order to be able to be wielded in battle they must be able to soul link and resonate with the caster. Therefor these cards are useless and unable to work when handled by another person. Misaka has formed a pact and bond with the cards though not all of them like to come forth when she calls upon their power. So far only three of the cards are willing to freely become one with her, as where the others only appear when her life is in danger or she reaches an extremely emotional peak. Misaka simply acts as a human catalyst for their power. It is a magic passed down through her bloodline that allows her to be a vessel for the spirits whereas others who have tried found that their bodies were incinerated once the connection was made.



There are seven cards total to complete the deck. The cards have a portion of the Heroic Spirits' power sealed inside them, and it can be said that they are the Heroic Spirits themselves. They draw out the power of Heroic Spirits, allowing either a Mystic Code or the user's own body to act as a medium for the Heroic Spirit's power. Overwritten by a fraction of the Heroic Spirit's power, they are able to fight others with that power. 



The true purpose of the Cards is to temporarily become a hero by accessing their full abilities. Install: Phantasm grants the Noble Phantasm, appearance, and skills of the Heroic Spirit. The user obtains a "fraction of their power", their own existence "overwritten" by that of a hero's existence. Appearance changes drastically when taken over by a spirit.

Touch of life; Through physical contact, Misaka can do the opposite of soul siphoning. She can give magical energy at the cost of her own.


While Possessed;


Arc of Time; This Magic revolves around the manipulation of the "time" of objects of non-living things and non-sentient living things, like a tree. The user can fast forward an object's "time" into the future, making it decay rapidly or rush to attack an opponent. This Magic can be even used to stop an object's "time" by freezing it in midair. The user can also rewind a damaged object's "time" to restore it to its original state, like turning ice back into water. Mages who use this Magic can produce "bubbles" of time that show the various potential things that the item could do and then pick one of the timelines whenever they want to.This Magic is said to be the natural enemy of Molding Magic Mages. Despite not working on sentient beings, this Magic has been shown to be able to affect humans to some degree by using it to evolve Mages' containers of Magic Power so that they're capable of using their Second Origin. 


Third Origin Release; This spell grants the user the Magic Power that, in the future, they have the potential to obtain, however, the casting process by which the recipient can gain this power takes some time to cast. The immediate side-effect of this spell being cast is that the recipient physically ages some years; for instance, they appear as an adult should they have been a child at the time of the casting. A Third Origin release can only be received once, as once the effect wears off, the user loses the ability to use Magic forever, something which occurs due to the permanent disappearance of Ethernano from the recipient's body.


Heart Touch; This is a unique magic in which the user can create weapons from the hearts of others. The weapon usually takes on the shape of something that represents the personality and true nature of the person being targeted. These weapons range from physical only to ones that have the ability to procure magic, such as staves or magical imbued weapons with different abilities. This ability is only draining as it is first taken, but it can be wielded until Misa no longer wishes to harness it.

Misaka is an affectionate and extremely kind girl, always seeming to tag along with some of the other members. During most of her childhood she was trapped by an ice slave spell, having worn the collar for twelve years of her life. If one looks closely at her neck they can still see the outline from how long it adorned it. The reason for this is because Misaka has been cursed since birth, having fallen under a possession spell that is unable to be broken unless released by the caster itself. This scared her family and the villagers so they shackled her using inhumane means. For half of the day, Misaka is known as Misa and she has a completely different personality and magic at her disposal. Once it hits late midday, her persona changes once again and she forgets the magic that her other half knows. In reality, it would seem she is two people forced into one body. Because of this her magic pool is abnormally high and the girl does not sleep since her other half gets to slumber in a dormant state while the other is active. Her possessed half is rather distant and insensitive, only hovering around a select few people that she feels safe with since she has grown paranoid and weary after her childhood experiences. Whereas the other side of her is nice, caring, and sensitive; trying to help in any way she can though she struggles to do so being the weaker of the two and super gullible. While finding the strength to muster up some kind of free will, Misa was able to break free of the ice slave spell by using Arc of Time on it and she soon escaped. However this forced her to be on the run for quite some time. Eventually the changed happened and Misaka was found stumbling around helplessly in the streets of Margaret town to be brought in and cared for by the guild Lamia Scale. It was their way of helping without expecting anything in return that touched her heart and made her decide to remain there as a permanent member. She looks up to every member and feels an immeasurable debt to each of them. After a bunch of drama and sadness blanketed itself over LS, Misa reluctantly left and followed after Mira to join Fairy Heart. She holds the members of LS dear to her still to this day.

Users of this magic are known as 'Mirage Keepers' and following the rules of Lann's homeworld(explained in bio). In short, this magic allows the wielder to summon creatures from various worlds to aid them. All Keepers are born with ornate runes along their arms which can be transformed into a special gauntlet. These serve as the conduits for their powers and are nearly indestructible.


To summon a creature, the Mirage Keeper must first collect the soul of the creature and contain it within a medium. These mediums are called 'prismariums', cube shaped prisms crafted by the Mirage Keeper which contain miniature worlds that serve to house the soul of the contained creature. The process of transferring the soul of a creature to a prismarium is known as 'imprisming'(Yay puns XD). A Mirage Keeper cannot take the soul of a living creature. Doing so is extremely difficult and also considered taboo. Instead, Mirage Keepers seek to save the souls of creatures who have died but have failed to be reborn for one reason or another. Creatures who meet this fate end up drifting in the space between worlds, also known as the 'Rift', in an eternal sleep, fading away until they are erased from existence, a fate far worse than death. This is where Mirage Keepers step in. First, they must locate an area where the border between worlds is thinner than normal, known as a 'Split'. Splits can only be found by those trained to spot one or by beings with supernatural senses. From there, the Keeper can reach into the Split and therefore the space between worlds, and 'fish out' any nearby lost souls they find drifting there which can then be imprismed. Once a soul has been successfully imprismed, it is called a 'Mirage'. From there, the Mirage Keeper can summon and command it freely using the corresponding prismarium. In battle, a Keeper can communicate with their Mirages telepathically, making cooperative efforts much more streamlined.

Threshold Script


(First paragraph is just lore for the magic's existence so you can skip if you want)


Being able to command Mirages isn't the only ability Keepers have at their disposal, although the name might suggest so. The true nature of a Mirage Keeper's powers lies in their connection to the Rift. Feats like reaching into Splits and creating miniature worlds in the form of prismariums seem to defy the laws of the universe itself. In truth, Mirage Keepers DO have the power to bend the rules of the worlds they inhabit. This is because unlike the vast majority of lifeforms, Keepers' souls are not fully tied to the world they are born in. It turns out that a small piece of each Mirage Keeper's soul exists somewhere in the Rift, attuning them to its properties. As such, they are not completely bound to any one world and thus are not bound to the rules of said world completely. For whatever reason, this strange trait can be inherited genetically which would mean the first Mirage Keepers somehow developed a way to fragment and transfer their soul fragments to the Rift manually. A truly puzzling mystery.


Taking advantage of their ability to bend the rules of a world, Mirage Keepers have developed a type of script magic that allows them to directly control this power. Using the power of their gauntlets, Mirage Keepers can trace runes into the air in front of them. Once the writing is complete, the runes can be activated to achieve varying effects based on what was written. An easier way to think of this magic is executing commands in a computer. By typing out the command manually and executing it, the computer will do exactly as the user desires. Mirage Keepers do something very similar to this when they invoke Threshold Script. Something to note is that although this magic can have a wide variety of effects, it cannot do something like stop time or instantly kill an individual. The extent to which a Mirage Keeper can bend the rules of a world only go so far so they can only alter minor things with variances according to the skill of the Keeper. Also worth noting is that more potent effects drain more magic power from the user. A good example of this magic in action would be being able to create a script that creates a small low gravity field. Lann is rather inexperienced at using it for now so it's rather time consuming for him to create useful scripts.

Lann is a bright and energetic boy who cares deeply for his friends and family. He can be a bit of a dunce at times but can stay focused if the situation really calls for it. Most of the time, he's laid back and loves to talk with friends. He's also got a knack for bad humor and often complains about a variety of things. Despite his flaws, he has a good heart and tends to make the pain of others his own, going to great lengths to help others, even people he doesn't know well.


Bio:


The first thing about Lann's past you should know is that he is not originally from Earthland. His home is a world called Grymoire which neighbors Earthland similar to how Edolas does. In Grymoire, Lann and his twin sister Reynn made up the youngest generation of the Farna family which are the direct descendants of the first Mirage Keepers. Their mother, Lusse, was a famous Keeper who was said to have brought about a great number of miracles using her gift. Their father, Rorrik, was an Architect, a sort of inventor whose creations were responsible for some of those miracles. Lann doesn't know too much about what kinds of feats his mother and father accomplished apart from the legends due to the fact that they never made any efort to tell their children about them. Instead, they wanted Lann and Reynn to see them as parents, not fairy tale legendary heroes. In spite of this, the twins strived to be like their parents who they couldn't help but look up to. Fortunately for them, they were both gifted with the powers of Mirage Keepers and started training as soon as they were old enough.


As it turns out, they were both very gifted in the art and couldn't wait to prove themselves to their parents. Unfortunately, they were a bit TOO eager as they relentlessly tried to find ways to show off their skill. Their father repeatedly tried to warn them that their recklessness would cause trouble for everybody but they wrote him off, saying he was jealous because he didn't have Keeper powers. Although their actions were quite selfish, Lann and Reynn were simply doing what they believed was right. They felt sorry for their mother who was often swamped with work as the only capable(and most famous) Mirage Keeper in the area. They thought that maybe if they became stronger, they could take some of the load off of their mother. Eventually, they came to the conclusion that the best way to become stronger would be to capture an extremely powerful Mirage. For that, they turned to the Ultima Gate.


The Ultima Gate was the door to a place called the 'Deep Rift'. A section of the Rift where the most dangerous souls of the multiverse were imprisoned. Thinking that they were strong enough to imprism one of these extremely dangerous souls, they opened the gate and began searching for a suitable soul to collect. As expected, things did not go as planned. The soul they found on the other side was a horror the likes of which they had never seen before. The malicious energy seeping through the gate alone was suffocating. Instead of pulling the soul out of the gate, it pulled them in. Luckily Lann was able to save his sister by closing the gate from the inside as he was the first to be sucked through. From there, Lann lost consciousness since the Rift was not a place suited for the physical bodies of mortals. It is unknown what happened to the soul Lann and Reynn had encountered but it seemed like it didn't manage to escape into Grymoire.


The next time Lann awoke, he found himself in a strange world full of people who could wield extraordinary magic. At first, he was mortified. Where was he!? How would he get back home!? Was his family worried!? He asked himself these questions and reflected upon his foolish actions for quite some time before he finally accepted his situation. He decided he would try to find a way to return to his homeworld while exploring the strange new world he had come across. He would keep his origin a secret from the inhabitants for rather obvious reasons. As he learned more about the world of Earthland, he came across the notion of wizard guilds. It wasn't such a hard decision. He would be able to explore the world and train doing missions as well as make money in order to sustain a living! The guild he eventually settled on was Fairy heart. There was something about their sense of family that he admired. And from here on, Lann's story continues after being a member for 2 months or so...

Description:


[SIZE= 12px]Lann's main partner and currently his only Mirage in Earthland. He calls her Tama and unlike most Mirages, she can talk and think very intelligently. Actually, often more intelligently than Lann. She was originally Lann's mother's partner but Lusse decided to pass her on to Lann a few months before the incident happened. Despite belonging to Lann for only a short amount of time, they have known each other far longer than that. That's simply because Tama was around when Lann and Reynn were born and played a role in raising them. Actually she was around LONG before they were born. She has existed for so long that her age is immeasurable. Despite this, she keeps a somewhat silly demeanor outside of combat while still taking care of Lann like a big sister. Her countless years of existence have granted her great wisdom and Lann can usually turn to her if he really needs help.[/SIZE]


Tama has 2 forms. A small one, suited for strolling around alongside Lann, and a large one, which is her true form more suited for combat. Both forms can freely fly through the air and if she is in her larger form Lann can ride atop her back. Tama is a Kyubi, a fox-like creature with exceptional magical and physical capabilities. An identifying feature of the species are the sword-like ornaments that float around their tails. The number of swords is actually a representation of how powerful a Kyubi is. Tama, who has 8 swords, is an extremely powerful specimen. So powerful in fact, that if she were able to unleash her full power, she would easily overpower most S class wizards in Earthland. Unfortunately, the amount of power she can wield in battle is directly proportional to the skill and strength of her Keeper. Lann, being nowhere near the level of his mother yet, can only utilizie a tiny portion of it. Actually, even Lusse herself wasn't able to use Tama's full strength. Doing so is nearly impossible for a human. At the very least, this leaves a lot of room for Lann to grow stronger.


Abilities:


Dancing Blades


The ornaments around Tama's tail can be used as swords due to their sharp and extremely durable nature. Tama can easily maneuver them through the air using her mind, making them very versatile weapons. These serve as Lann's main means of offense until lann can unlock more of Tama's power.


Foxfire


Tama unleashes a ball of fire that shifts between the colors of the rainbow as it flies through the air. It can be used as a straightforward projectile for a stronger potency but it can also be commanded to split up in midair into multiple smaller fireballs which attempt to flank the target from multiuple sides. Good for landing a sneaky hit.


Hazy Blossom


Cherry blossom petals begin to swirl around Tama's body before erupting outwards, covering the battlefield in a breathtaking display. Opponent's caught in the storm will begin to experience a pink haze on the outer edges of their vision and begin to see afterimages of anything they perceive as moving. This generally serves as a method of confusing the opponent and can sometimes even make them feel nauseous.

Golden Sand Magic


Mizari has the ability to control sand as well as produce it if need be, though she typically carries around vials and containers of it for use. Her magic is unique in the fact that she super-heats the sand until it takes on a gold tone. She can manipulate the sand as she sees fit, be it for offensive or defensive purposes. Typically she uses it to cut and burn targets in a slash like motion mimicking that of a dragon slayer, though the key difference being is she doesn't actually attack with it herself. In combat she usually constructs constantly shifting small floating arms that are around her, usually two sets of two, that take on various forms for different attacks. The most common being a set of claws to slash or a simple fist to punch.


 


Her defensive uses are rather simple and really only has a few options, shooting sand into the eyes of the opponent or creating a sandstorm to reduce vision. Usually the former rather than the latter as it uses less sand and magic.


 


Personality:


 


Mizari is typically a quiet individual, she talks and such but she rarely yells or raises her voice beyond it's normally soft tone. She's slightly shy, though this usually only extends to new people or if she messes up somehow. She prefers keeping to herself most of the time however, usually going into the forests of Tenrou to explore and find a quiet place to read or train. It's incredibly hard to get her mad and if she ever is she doesn't usually show it beyond silently pouting, or in the case of an enemy attacking quicker.


 


One of the easiest ways to get her mad is to talk over her, or rather upset her, due to how easy it is to do with her soft and seemingly shy tone of voice. She has actually been known to shout when it happens to often though she quickly goes silent afterwards and doesn't say anything again for a while. If anything her anger is more like an angry puppy than anything which typically gets people to make fun of her and only upset her further.

Personality:


Very simple and straightforward, Seth can come across as being very rude and lacking in etiquette. He says what comes to his mind first without actually thinking about it, which can lead to problems down the road. Not everybody wants to hear what he has to say, but he says it anyway. This also means that he is quite rubbish at reading the atmosphere. He is also quite proud as a mage, despite having no real significant accomplishments. Confident in his abilities, he will often times openly ignore any advice from the more senior mages, though this is just a farce. When nobody is looking he will practice on his own based on the advice of his older compatriots.


 


Seth tends to play the facade that everything is okay, putting on a happy and friendly appearance when in public, in this regard he could best be described as a coin; having two completely different sides to himself. For the most part he likes to play the fool, make jokes, be the butt of jokes and even tease the girl he fancies. Seth is someone who you can trust, to an extent. While he is the type who would keep your secret to the grave and have your back in a life or death situation, he is also the type who would sell you out for a quick joke and a few laughs. Gregarious by nature, a trait he most likely inherited from his parents, Seth relishes being in a high-spirited social gathering. While his contribution to the gathering may in fact be minuscule if not non-existent, he simply enjoys the warmth and company provided by those he cherishes.



The fact that he has to wear a 'mask' and play the facade also means that he is the type who keeps his negative feelings bottled up. Not really one to talk to others about his problems, he lets the negative emotions fester and swell within himself, thus he will sometimes explode and be overly angry about the smallest of matters. During these situations of frustration and stress, he tends to seclude himself from the outside world, choosing to drown himself in loud music so as to ignore everyone else, or simply isolating himself from others.



He fears solitude, having been forced to experience its cold grasp once already, thus he also strongly values true relationships, not the type that looks strong on the surface but in reality is fragile. While he does know the difference between right and wrong, Seth will not waver to cross the line if forced to do so. He has lived alongside the fiend that is desperation and has on more then one occasion succumbed to its devilish temptations.

Biography:


Seth comes from a really lackluster background, his family were not mages thus it was completely understandable that when Seth was born he himself had no affinity for the arcane arts. Raised like a normal child, Seth envied those that were blessed with a variety of abilities and desperately wished to have the same kind of power as they did. Though, wishes granted do not always come in the expected form and when they don't disaster often strikes. A dark guild that experimented with Lacrima's and implanting them into the 'normals' had come to Seth's home town, the Dark guild often abducting the homeless, and the young to experiment upon. Their goal was to swell up their own guild ranks rapidly, to gain the trust and loyalty of those born without power who now came into possession of magic. Magic that at often times were destructive and hard to control, such was the ability that Seth was given. Promised with the opportunity to wield Magic, he was blind to the dark and underhanded motives of the guild which had tricked him


Infused with the Lacrima of an Oni's magic, Seth suffered a long period of pain and on many instances contemplated ending his own life in order to escape the torture. The whole ordeal of having to endure his body as it assimilated this foul magic was a long one, his body burning as his body grew and unlocked magic containers (like second origin). Unlike people born with the ability to use magic, Seths body was not used to the new energy nor was he practiced in using his abilities. Years mages spent during their childhood, learning and honing their magic, Seth had none of that. Thus his first transformation into the Oni whose soul he was forcefully given was the worst. Unable to control his magic, the soul of the beast took over and went on a rampage, destroying his home town as well as the headquarters of this dark guild; one affiliated with Grimoire Heart.


Now, Seth finds himself a member of Fairy Heart, the guild created to defeat the Dark guild Grimoire Heart, his reason for joining to atone for the crimes he had committed due to being unable to control the Oni as well as to prevent other innocents from having their lives affected by the dark wishes of the dark guilds.  On top of that, a guild formed to stop one of the most notorious dark guilds to exist must be formed of strong members, mages who could also put a stop to one of his own rampages should he lose the game of tug-of-war with the Oni.

Magic: Hair Manipulation via Oni Form

In his Oni form, Seth is far stronger, faster and can endure far more damage then that of your average human being. That being said he does not have full control of this form yet and he can only maintain it for a short period of time before he exhaust himself  He wields a large club in this form. In his Oni form, Seth gains a form of magic called 'Hair Manipulation'. This is not a form of takeover magic as Seth does not have the ability to wield magic on his own and accumulate more souls to transform into, instead this is a soul stored within himself via a lacrima that can appear on its own will. Seth attempts to gain full control of this beast and presently is able to control it completely for a short period of time. The mental strain on him is large and he is often times severely fatigued after reverting back to his normal self. He cannot wield magic outside of this form. 


 


Wild Beast's relentless Rampage
Seth's hair is manipulated to take the shape of a large serpents mouth with blade like fangs. Seth uses his magic to enhance his heads metabolism thus allowing him to grow his hair longer then usual. Infused with mana, the hair takes on a steel like property making each strand comparable to thin steel wires. Their strength is further increased when grouped together, in this form they take the shape of a large serpents mouth. This attack can be separated into multiple 'limbs' or a larger single limb. 


Hair Constructs


The ability to manipulate his hair into taking the shape of various constructs ranging from everyday tools to weapons and shields. 


The impregnable wall of the Beast
Seth surrounds his body with his mana infused hair. With his hair's steel like properties, he is basically covering himself in an iron shell. Aside from acting as a shield, Seth can manipulate the hair to counter attack in a variety of ways depending on the situation. Another form of this defensive technique is that he manipulates the hair to form spikes around himself. 



Needle Rain


Seth projects strands of his hair towards the target, each strand essentially a sharp needle that is being shot in ever direction. Seth can fire either individual strands of hair, or he can combine the strands into a larger projectile


SteamRoller


Covering himself in a sphere of hair, Seth can roll at high speeds, steamrolling anyone unfortunate enough to get into his path


Entwine thy self


Similar to his hair constructs, this ability creates armors and weapons on his own body. Seth wraps his arms with his hair, allowing the hair to intertwine with one another to form the shape of his desire for different purposes, such as large claws or a lance. Like with all of his attacks, they are as hard as steel.

Magic:


Illusionary Magic - A form of Magic that revolves around the use of illusions, allowing the caster to create illusions that deceive even respectable Mages of the Ten Wizard Saints and Magic Council Captains. The user can also determine who sees and hears the illusions and who doesn't. This magic has quite a long reach, as the user can effect a large crowd of people, and deceive them fooling their minds with something that isn't happening, and place it with something that is happening.


Fading Counter: A type of Magic which allows its user to enchant himself or herself with an intangible, colorless aura-like cloak throughout their body and soul which creates a pair of illusion copy of his or her arms which automagically projects itself from the user's torso either side to block any melee type of attacks.


 


False Death: A type of Magic which gives the user and his or her allies the state of death at wherever they are located (though within 900 to 1,200m in diameter from the user), allowing them to only get up from the death state when all harmful effects and events during the battle ends.


 


Back From False Death: A type of Magic that negates the effect of one illusion from a target object and shatters it with a variety of effects.


 


Phantasmal Decoy: A type of Magic which cloaks the user and instantly places a clone of the user either in the front, back, or either sides of the user.


 


Fool's Trap: A type of Magic that makes a lock or other small mechanism as well as a non-creature object seem to be trap-type device to anyone (except the caster) who can detect traps or spot hidden objects.

Personality:
Jonetsu is a cold, stoic, and arrogant person who shows little regard to the lives of those around him.  He is, more often than not, willing to leave those who slow him down behind, even if it means their death and especially if they are not guild members. He will often turn his blade against his own guild members if necessary. But rarely he will save others, and may risk his own life for his own sake.

Bio:
Jonetsu has been around for many years, but lost his memories during those times. Jonetsu died at a young age, 19 assuming. He and his significant other had formed a guild prior to the war of a demon emperor, as it was soon about to terrorize the town in which they lived in. Jonetsu’s guild was one of the strongest guild along with blue Pegasus at the time, blue Pegasus is still a powerful guild till this day.


 


Jonetsu died by saving his significant other in the midst of battle, and was left behind before he could give out his everlasting breath. His significant other soon died after. The two were soon had their body picked up, and experimented on, as they attempted to make them again, but this time beyond human expectations. The project was a success as the new young jonetsu was born, but with their memories from the past clean, gone from existence, even he can't remember who the other child that was being tested as well.


 


Though the company was still experimenting on him from time to time, at the age of 12 they soon start training him with new ability such as the ability to cast illusionary magic like his previous part did, which soon triggered his mind seeing small bits of his past, however the child that was also being tested assume that it was the work of his magic since illusions tend to have the user's mind deceive them. By the time jonetsu was 15 he'd soon go out, and looked for a guild that is quite common known as Fairy Heart guild. The other child turned 12 right after, the two somehow shares a piece of their memory, and whenever he gets triggered by it, jonetsu does as well.


 


The unfortunate outcome soon came to a stop when jonetsu turned 17, and was also known as one of the most successful guild member in Fairy Heart. If you want to be logical jonetsu is the oldest guild member to exist. If he were to come across any type of demon, things will begin to crumble.

This magic is a type of Caster Magic, a form of Ancient Magic, and a branch of God Slayer Magic that utilises the element of fire to a phenomenal extent. This type of magic incorporates the element of fire into the users body, that allows them to produce and project incredibly scorching flames from anywhere on their body. Unlike other God Slayers, Aurera's flames are not entirely black. Instead, they are a crimson red in colour with streaks of black running throughout them. This magic has next to no defensive abilities, and is strictly offensive. However, as a Fire God Slayer, Aurera has the innate ability to absorb both pre-existing and magical forms of fire bar her own. Doing so allows her to regain her strength and rid herself of fatigue. As the Fire God Slayer, Aurera is immune to all fire-based attacks. In addition to the above, the flames created by a Fire God Slayer do not burn, instead, they have been described to be instruments of total destruction, capable of destroying everything in their path.


Due to her being a Fire God Slayer, Aurera is weak to nearly all forms of water magic and if faced against an opponent who utilises it, will struggle greatly. 


Fire God's Bellow


Aurera takes a deep breath as she then exhales, releasing a large gout of flames that blasts forwards in a torrent of destruction. 


Fire God's Raging Fist


Channeling her raw magical power into her fists, which in turn engulfs her fists in her godly flame, Aurera increases her attack power in order to deliver deadly blows. 


Fire God's Explosive Flame


Aurera releases a massive ball of crimson/black flames towards her opponent by punching towards them. Once the flames reach the target, they grow slightly in size, then explode. 


Sekhmet's Fury


By slamming her fists together and then thrusting outwards with her palms, Aurera sends forth two large flaming lioness towards the opponent. The two lioness are made entirely out of flames, and they explode into gouts of flames upon impact with the opponent. Chasing them, hunting them, until they make contact with something. 


Dance of The Phoenix Matriarch


Aurera channels her magic into her legs and feet as crimson/black flames then seemingly erupt into a beautiful frenzy. The flames take the form of phoenix like wings that enable her to blast through the air. This spell also greatly empowers her kicks.

Fire God Slayer Secret Art: Sekhmet's Revenge


After channeling her magic, Aurera completely consumes herself in flames that seemingly explode from her in large flaming ring like formations. The flaming rings tear through anything that stands in its path. However, Aurera can only keep this up to form at least five rings until her grows depleted of her magical reserves nearly entirely. 


Fire God Slayer Secret Art: Wrath of The Fire God


By taking the correct stance, (Left foot back, right foot forward, right arm downwards to the left and left arm upwards to the right.) Aurera plummets the area in flame. A sea of flames erupts from within her in an omnidirectional assault, quickly laying waste to most things in the surrounding area as the blasts of flame tear through the enemy. This spell is considered a last ditch effort. And upon usage, wears her out virtually entirely. Also, she does not have full control over it. Due to its highly destructive tendencies, Aurera has only actually used this spell once.

Naturally, she isn't one to follow orders and she is considered a woman of the people.  At first, Aurera may seem very stern and possibly even cold, however when one gets to know her they soon find that once the shell has cracked, she is definitely one of the kindest people they'll every have the pleasure to meet. Unfortunately, Aurera has a very explosive temper, and although she is very intuitive, when she is in a full blown rage she will only see blood- and nothing but. Aurera has quite a big sister nature about her, especially with people whom of which are weaker than her. She will do everything in her power to ensure they are safe and she will not stop at anything to ensure their happiness. Aurera is also quite stubborn, and she is very persistent. Once she has set her mind on something she will not stop until she has obtained or achieved it. [/COLOR]

As if part of her shattered and piece by piece, she started to lose herself. Aurera NEVER speaks of her past, and if it is ever brought up in a conversation or if she is ever asked about it, she becomes very closeted, withdrawn, and sometimes he even gets agited and violent as a response. A Caster Magic, which, as the name implies, is a form of Molding Magic, that involves creating various objects from the element of earth. It is often underestimated due to a lack of pure fire power, but it can be quite versatile and powerful due to the abundance of earth for the caster to work with. When casting a spell, the caster has two choices. They can either directly convert their magic into earth, or they can manipulate preexisting earth (whether magical or natural). This allows a Earth Maker magic mage to utilize another caster's magic making it quite useful against other earth wielding mages. Earth Maker mages also tend to be good at identifying minerals, navigating caves in the dark, and remaining calm in enclosed space; they have to spend a lot of time under ground to learn the magic.

Commonly used spells (most are pretty self explanatory):

This spell is arguably Curran's strongest offensively. It forms a giant cannon out of earth. This cannon is capable of firing large cannonballs of stone at high speeds. The impact of the cannonballs can prove devastating, and they shatter on impact when colliding with the earth or something similarly hard/ thick. When shattered, the resulting shrapnel can prove quite damaging as well, and it may tag an opponent that dodge the initial attack. This spell can cause a lot of collateral damage, so Curran doesn't use it around civilians. It also lacks in mobility, and it can only swivel in place once formed.

latest

After placing both hands together and casting the spell, the caster must place their hands on the ground. Cracks begin spreading through the ground towards wherever the caster wants to make the chasm. This spell causes the earth to split forming a deep chasm in a area of the caster's choice. It is useful for disposing of enemies that can't fly or separating themselves from enemies to escape. However, the spell uses a relatively large amount of magic.

When casting this spell the user has a choice. They can either form the dome around themselves or around another. This spell is weaker defensively then Earth Make: Wall, but it can defend from multiple angles, and it's also useful to protect another or capture an opponent.

A basic spell for when an Earth Maker mage wants to punch someone extra hard. The size of the fist can increase with the use of magic according to the caster's will. It can also be used to deflect smaller attacks without reducing visibility.

After casting the spell, an earthen hammer is formed in the caster's hand. By infusing it with more magic, the tip of this hammer can be increased in size. However, the only way to decrease it's size is to smash it into a surface as hard or nearly as hard as the hammer which will cause pieces to fall off.

This spell is much slower the Earth Make: Dome, and it's best used on slow, disabled, stunned, or unsuspecting opponents. It is used to capture a foe. When cast, it forms a cube around the caster's target. The incredibly strong walls formed by this technique can only be broken through with a large amount of magic power.

After placing both hands together and casting the spell, a wall of bursts from the ground in front of the caster. The thickness and size depends on how much magic is used. One obvious downside to this spell is that it limits sight in one direction. However, it can also be dangerous if the caster misjudges the power of an opponents attack. If the wall isn't thick enough, an attack could blast right through it.

As the name suggest, a wave of earth is formed after casting the spell rises up and crashes down on opponents. The caster can choose to conjure the wave under themselves and use the spell for mobility rather then for offensive purposes.

Personality: If Curran was to embody one word, it would be passion. His passion for everything he does burns so brightly that people are often surprised he's not a fire mage. People generally seem him in two lights. They see him either as rowdy, cheesy, and annoying or fun, inspiring, and courageous. This is largely because just about everything is new and amazing to him. However, he's often spouting off about justice or what is means to be a hero or bragging about how powerful he will be, but he does his best to protect everyone, and he hates seeing evil prevail. Even when times are hard, he continues to smile. This sometimes forced cheery nature is one of the few things that kept him going. Despite his joyful and rowdy nature, he's surprisingly intelligent and creative, and this has gotten him out of many situations. He's not above tricks and lying either. Curran acknowledges that honor isn't an option in all scenarios, and fighting dirty (slight pun) is often necessary to better protect others.

On the inside, Curran isn't nearly as fearless as he may act. In fact, he often doubts himself and his abilities. However, he's not one to let this show. He's also still encounters emotional problems when it comes to the loss of his father (Jeremoth) and his experiences in the mines, so he does his best to avoid thinking or talking about them. Most who inquire about his past will receive a vague answer and/ or lighthearted banter that changes the topic of discussion.

Bio: Curran was born in a country with a strict justice system that punished crimes harshly. Due to this, most of Curran's early childhood was spent mining. From a young age, he had been sentenced working in the mines. He vaguely remembers it as a punishment given to him to serve in place of his father. Since he was only a child and the pay was measly to begin with, he of course had trouble making it by. While all miners had the ability to buy their freedom (the price varied on the crime), they were forced to spend most if not all of their earnings on food. Only the most accomplished ones earned the right of three meals a day. Many were lucky to get two. Curran on the other-hand struggled to earn one. One particularly large and strong convict took pity on him. Perhaps, it was because he had treated the man no different then anyone else (as most of the other miners feared him), because the man once had a son or younger brother of his own, or because the man had known his father, Curran would never know. The man's name was Jeremoth, and he was a convicted murderer, but Curran suspected that Jeremoth was set up or their was circumstances he didn't know about as the man really was a gentle giant. He treated Curran quite well. He would help Curran do his work while doing his own, protect Curran from other workers, and he'd even share food with the boy. Curran soon discovered that the Jeremoth was an accomplished mage, and he convinced the man to teach him magic in secret. Jeremoth came from the land of Fiore, a land foreign to Curran. The man would tell him stories of the outside world and of his past adventures as a guild member. From his stories, Curran's own dream was formed. He would join a guild and become a famous wizard after Jeremoth and him had earned their freedom of course.

After a few years passed, Jeremoth died tragically in a cave in. At this point Jeremoth was like a father to Curran, and he was the closest thing to family the boy had. Curran found himself in a deep depression, and he began to slack in his work. This decrease in labor earned him more then one whipping and/or beating from the mine owners, but at that point Curran didn't care. Things carried on like this and Curran gradually became skinnier and skinnier until one day he had a dream or rather a vision in which he was spoken to by Jeremoth. His "father" berated him for giving up so easily, and he made Curran promise that he'd earn his freedom and be free of this place. The boy swore that he'd earn his right to make it to walk freely on the surface. After that, he worked like a machine. Secretly utilizing his magic, he did far more work then thought possible, and he'd often skip meals to save his earnings. On multiple occasions he nearly worked himself to death, and many times other miners tried to take advantage of his weakened state, but Curran held them off. He earned himself his own reputation, and he was soon feared similarly to his Jeremoth. After a couple of years he earned enough to buy his own freedom. Immediately upon release, Curran began working once again. He did various labor jobs while training at night. He quickly saved up money for passage to Fiore. He set off as soon as he had the money without a second glance. While the passage he'd bought was by no means first class, it would get him to where he wanted to be. Since he never learned of which guild his father had been a part of, he planned of joining the first one he found. His boat's first stop just so happened to be on a particular little island.

Likes: Partying, eating, beautiful women, and just about anything he didn't have as a miner. He also enjoys helping others, defeating "evil doers", brave people, and fighting.


Dislikes: Cowards, bullies, flying, gloomy people, wasted food, and forced labor.


Skills:
Tough as Stones: Due to the environment he grew up in, Curran is quite tough. While he lacks formal martial training, he is the equivalent of an experienced street fighter, so he knows how to throw and take a punch. He's also has a strong immune system and a strong stomach, so he can't eat things many others would consider inedible.

Miner: Curran is extremely skilled at navigating underground, and he can identify various minerals. Due to his years of training, mining, and other labor focused jobs, he's also incredibly strong. He can be quite the dangerous opponent if he manages to get a hold of you.

Leadership: Curran's fighting spirit can make him inspiring to others, and he can be quite strategic at times. The combination of the two could make him a great leader...if people took him seriously. His ramblings about justice and being a hero can make him look naive and/or immature.

Other: The tattoos on his body are a symbol of his previous status as a forced laborer. While meant as a mark of shame, Curran wears them proudly.

Curran is often covered in a fine layer of dirt. Due to the lack of bathing in the mines, he actually finds it feels more strange to be completely clean.

Growing up in mines, he can neither read nor swim.

Curran enjoys making and hearing cheesy jokes and puns.
