Everything Changes.

The neighbour cocked a brow, frowning at the foreign tongue. “…D’you…have any money?” He slurred, guessing that the dark-haired Lieutenant wanted one of two things – both of which was gonna cost him. Slow, thudding music was playing in the background of the dimly-lit room, with the bird-women still chattering noisily over the dinner table. Behind them, a tiny giggle echoed across the room. Adrian had manage to scrape himself off the wall, away from the fish-dancer (who had moved onto another client), and out into the living room.

The doctor was lying on his side, doubled over as his body shook from the chuckling. Both hands were wrapped around his ribcage, tears streaming from his eyes and drool travelling sidewards down his cheeks. Adrian had been drifting in and out of these laughing fits for the past hour – his entire face ached from it and yet he couldn’t stop. Every single thing he saw became suddenly so warped it was ridiculously funny. His eyes glazed over Cassidy as they briefly refocused, and Adrian’s mouth curled into an ardent grin. Before breaking into another fit of laughter, smacking the floor in amusement at his drahy from across the room.

Cassidy gave the man a blank stare, utterly at a loss at how to respond. He felt the man may close the door on him, and he began to, right as the echo of a giggle traveled across the threshold and to his ears. He put his foot in the door, placing a dark hand across the boarded up window on it. "Adrian!" The Lieutenant pushed past, towards his lover, arms out wide, trying to catch Adrian before he smacked into the floor.

Failing to do so, he fell so his knees, gently pulling the human into his lap with meticulous attention to his color and breathing. Every thing seemed in working order and in place, except Adrian was laughing hysterically at him, and with himself. Cas picked pieces of the cyan off his drahy's clothes, rubbing it between his fingers, as he looked around at the scene. Pulling in the rough group of drug addicts, prostitutes, and benefactors.

Cas hurried to scoop up his lover, collecting the redhead in his arms, as he pointed and laughing, spitting in humor at Cas. "C-Come on, Adrian-" He interrupted the other, praying they could just leave...

Ade was coming down from another laughing fit, tears gathering in his eyes as he was pulled onto his back and into Cassidy’s lap. There was a prominent red mark on the side of his face where he had smacked the ground, several times. His lover seemed miles and mile away, and the Lieutenant's serious voice squeaked in a comical style to Ade's ears. “Ahah – ahah – ah ah ah-” Ade sniggered, lifting up a pale arm and jabbing at the air in front of Cassidy’s face, as if he was popping bubbles hanging in the air.

A finger landed on the Lieutenant’s cheek, and Ade suddenly recoiled at the warmth of his skin, eyes widening in shock. “Ade-reeeaaaaan…?” He whispered, repeating his name in a high-pitched squeak. His face fell and he poked at the other’s face, touching at his nose and lips as the freckles danced on his dark skin. He licked at the thin line of drool on his own chapped lips, furrowing his brow, “I need to f-find – my – freckle -” He said in a determined voice, head lolling back into the crook of Cas’ arm as more sniggers started to ring out. The dark eyes glared back at him as he opened up his palm and gently slapped Cassidy’s cheek.

Oi – Oh - got it…!” Adrian’s face crumpled, into a euphoric grin. He swiftly broke into another bout of loud, hysterical laughter, chest vibrating as he sent hoots of amusement across the room. The doctor’s back arched violently, causing him to almost fall out of Cas’ lap and smack against the floor again.

Cassidy was busy making sure Adrian was okay; he cupped Adrian's face, shaking and weighing his head, before he rubbed the crystals between his two fingers, narrowing his eyes at the fine crystals that melted between the tips at the heat. He had no idea what this drug was.

Scrutinizing powder, then the room, Cas muttered that they needed to leave. He crouched, lifting Adrian up, before gasping as a shock wave travelled up his bad arm, to his shoulder. His hand went numb, his finger tips tingling while the spot where he got shot burned. Dropping Adrian slightly, he cursed, squeezing both his eyes shut in a wince.

Forcing himself to lift Adrian, he shoved his way past the curious owner, struggling to hold his lover up. Adrian was poking his face, and buzzed airplane noises, pretending that as he carried him, he was soaring through the air.

Adrian was delivered to the apartment, and dropped on the nearest couch. Cas doubled over, gripping his arm and breathing a wail. Massaging the muscle, he breathed through his mouth, "Fuck!" An airy yell escaped, sinking down into the couch next to Adrian. They did a shoddy job on his arm, and who knows if it would ever get better.

A pasty finger brushed across his freckles, the tip dancing across his skin as Adrian began laughing hysterically, rolling around on the couch and gasping laughs, desperate to express his joy. Cas turned to Adrian, a smile finally spreading across his lips. Amused at the spectacle of Adrian having so much fun, in such a dumb manner. Cas climbed over Adrian to rest at his side, settling in next to his drahy as he resumed playing with his face in joy, commenting on the blurred features.

Cas noticed a tad of the crystals were left on Adrian's neck and collar. A devilish smirk appeared, and the Lieutenant paused, eyes flicking up to look into his drahy's as he lowered himself to kiss Adrian's neck, purposely touching his tongue to the crystals that melted like cotton candy in saliva. After a few seconds he lifted his head, lips striped with bright cyan now, waiting with a pesky grin.

The doctor’s now-hoarse giggling was escalated at the warm sensation on his collarbone, and he squirmed, wriggling playfully as if he was expecting to melt right into the couch. The doctor gave an exaggerated gasp as he saw the blue at the other’s lips, stifling another laugh as he struggled to speak, “You’re – yo-ou’re cold? Icy – icy - icy cold,” He jeered and sniggered.

Adrian continued to sputter, blinking innocently at the Lieutenant's mischievous grin. He wrapped his arms loosely around Cassidy’s neck, tugging down on the other and dragging him down so their faces met, “I’m – I’m a doctor – warm, happy doct- Mhmmh~” He sloppily met the Lieutenant’s mouth, giggling even more in surprise as the crystal’s on Cas’ lips melted between them. Another rush of blood shot to his head, making his entire face flush beet red as he continued. Every few seconds Ade broke off, green teary eyes almost completely closed as the rest of his face scrunched up in amusement. His hands eventually traced down Cassidy's back, reaching underneath his shirt and giggling some more as he felt the warm dark flesh shudder beneath his fingers.

Cassidy's giggles started out as soft, genuine ones that were in touch with reality, adoration of Adrian melting his mischief. Within a minute, as the drug rushed to his head, Cas was a slobbering pile of giggles too, running his fingers through Adrian's ginger hair in wonder. He re-arranged the tufts of hair, sculpting them with a chain of laughter in between sloppy wet kisses.

The Lieutenant poked Adrian's cheek over and over again, just as the other had done before to his freckles. As he listened to Ade's laughter, and climbed all over the other, he convinced himself he as accidentally tickling Adrian. Well, he then decided that it wouldn't be an accident anymore. After all, as Adrian dragged his hands up and down his back, wasn't that was he was trying to do?

The dark haired agent viciously tickled the other, leaning in with eager bouts of laughter to smooch Adrian as he wriggled, "One-" He leaned back up to look at Adrian, unable to hold back flirtatious giggling, "Two~" Cas dragged his hands up to his drahy's scalp again, remembering how hard he had been laughing earlier, when he was tickling his scalp. Cas hurriedly ran his hands over the back of Adrian's head, rapidly pecking the other's face, counting as he went, "Three- Four- Five- Six- Seven-!" The Lieutenant began laughing so hard that he wheezed, running out of breath, as he laughed noiselessly, stopping and clutching at his stomach, convulsing with silly giggles.

----------------

Fifty-seven…Fifty-eight…ahah – F-fifty-nine…” Ade counted along with Cassidy, unable to keep a tiny snigger out of his voice as the last of the drug evaporated from his mind. Both of their bare chests were pricked with tiny goosebumps from the cold of the living room, however neither of them seemed to care very much as the Lieutenant slowly resumed his assault on Ade’s face. One hand was still at his auburn curls, rapidly fluffing and rearranging in an attempt to get another chuckle out of him, while the other, injured hand, rested on his pale stomach, as it rose and fell from his breath. The doctor wiped the back of his own hand at his drool-covered chin while Cassidy began to laugh noiselessly again, pressing his nose against his lover’s collarbone as he caught sight of Ade’s eyes.

As Adrian rapidly came down from the drug, the laughing eventually died down from his voice entirely. His face became a frown, the same hand moving up to massage the sore muscles around his jaw. He looked around in bewilderment, confusedly wondering how they had gotten here – the memory of the last few hours being fuzzy at best. The doctor vaguely remembered going out to get something for Cas - but never coming back to the dusty old apartment afterwards. He was caught off-guard as the Lieutenant fired another kiss, although he missed and sloppily hit Ade's ear, chuckling euphorically as his body fell limp against his drahy's. “-Cas…Cassidy-“ Adrian murmured in a slightly amused tone, stroking across one of his dark shoulderblades, “What’re you doing, hun?”

Cassidy's high was much fresher than Adrian's, so he continued his giggling fit even as the amusement sunk from his drahy's features for the most part. Adrian stopped counting, and Cas blinked, stopping too.

"Oh-hohoho~" Cas reached out to Adrian's hair again, the laughter continuing to rise out of his chest, "What- you wanna start over?" He cooed in mischief, lifting his nose off Ade's collarbone. Scooting up Ade's chest, still straddling it, he pressed his overly wet lips to the other's mouth again, dipping in fast as he counted, "One- two- three-!" Cas wrapped his arms found Ade's back, brushing his nose again the other's between hungry smooches.

Cas, what the - ?” Ade asked him quizzically as the other started pecking at him again. He followed along for the first few kisses, however as they got more and more manic he recoiled, smirking weakly while putting a hand on Cas’ chest. Cassidy didn’t stop however, and he only paused after a few minutes to laugh hysterically again, wheezing hard and raising his head slightly. “Eugh,” Ade groaned, squirming as he wiped a pool of drool from his face. He regarded the crazy Lieutenant straddling him, especially at the bags beneath his lids and the hoarseness of his voice.

“-Cas,” He said with slight concern, smiling weakly as the other stared at him with hazy, far-gone eyes. He ducked out the way as Cassidy started squealing ‘niiine!~’, swinging in for another kiss, and he put a hand to Cas’ mouth. “-Have you taken something?” The doctor looked around for any voffs or the like littered on the table, but found none. Just as he wiped his saliva-covered hand on the side of the sofa, he felt a grainy substance in the edge of the fingernail, and he rolled it between his fingertips, frowning at the tiny blue crystal. “What’s this?” He murmured, having no memory of it at all.

Cassidy's eager grin was attached to long chains of hysterical laughter, hovering over Adrian's nose. He leaned in for another kiss, and hit his nose and lips against Adrian's hand. He snatched it up, nibbling at the thumb playfully, before Adrian removed it to wipe at the drool.

He made a fake gasping noise at Adrian's shock, sliding his arms up to wrap tightly around Adrian's neck. "Maaaybe- I found it. You shared with me, how thoughtful!" Cas watched Adrian's finger, mesmerized as the blue crystals fell onto his shirt. "You were- you were-" Cas laughed directly in Adrian's face with a sharp wheeze, the force of it causing flecks of spit to strike Ade's cheek. Calming down only slightly, the agent huffed out a reply, "I-" Another minute of laughing, rolling around on Adrian in hysteria, "Found you on-" Yet another thirty seconds of endless giggles, "Neighbor's floor. You gave me-" Cas started laughing again, almost out of breath. He shook silently in hilarity, unable to continue.

The agent pushed his head down, nestling his face in the crook of Adrian's neck and the ends of his auburn hair. He clung to Adrian as he tried to move away, only holding tighter as the other tried to sit up. "Yooooou aren't going-" He blew in Adrian's ear, making the other jerk as the warm wind tickled the lobe, "Anywhere at all. Unless..." He fell into a whisper, "We're going on an adventure." A tighter grip made the other tense,

I gave it to you? I don’t think-“ Ade scoffed, face turning sour as the other started laughing again. He refused to let his features soften, even as the other nuzzled his neck and blew in his ear. “Cassidy. Let me up.” He muttered, frowning at the spit on his face. He rolled his eyes at the sound of an adventure, although his joyous and excited demeanour was a welcome change from the fight that had had earlier.

Oh, you want to go on an adventure…?” Ade murmured. A smile drew across his face as he leaned in closer, pressing himself against the edge of the couch as he prepared to dive off it. “In that case, I think we shou - Oh my god, what is that behind you?!” He suddenly screeched, eyes opening wide and peering at a spot just above Cas’ shoulder. Suddenly alarmed but still giggling uncontrollably, the Lieutenant’s head swivelled, and Ade took advantage and slithered out from underneath him, twisting his forearms so Cassidy lost his grip on his drahy. He crumpled face-first on the sofa, still snorting and chuckling as Adrian stood shakily. He hastily did up his pants, rolling his eyes as he then grabbed Cas by the shoulders and forcefully turned him over, just incase he was so high he would suffocate with his own drool.

Right – you are going to sober up,” Ade huffed, ruffling Cas’ hair and smiling as he looked up at him from the couch, giggling and reaching up with a dark hand to poke his face. Ade stalked across the room and locked the front door so Cas couldn’t wander off, before returning to the bedroom and closing the door quietly, so Cassidy didn’t notice him walk away. In between obnoxiously loud giggles he heard the other call out his name, practically wailing as he searched for his husband in between the couch cushions. Ade himself sank onto the worn, deflated mattress, rubbing his eyes in tiredness as he listened out, hoping that Cassidy’s sniggering would peter away into snoring and they could both finally get some rest.

Flipping his head around, black bangs shifting to roll over his eyes. The sensation of being blinded by his own hair threw his attention from Adrian and the mysterious object behind him, to the blackness of his hair. He didn't care as he was rolled off, and onto the couch. His dark hands flew up to play with his bangs, "Ooooh~" He cooed, running his finger over the thick, silky strands.

Thoroughly distracted as Adrian had padded out of the room, Cas eventually noticed Adrian was gone. He shakily stood, convinced his love was playing hide and seek now. He wobbled as he walked round the plain, empty apartment. "Ade!" He giggled, "Oh~ Adrian!" Cassidy was walking in a circle, not even moving out towards the miniature kitchen or bathroom. His wobbly ankle caved in, causing the other to crash to the floor in a heap, making to whole building shake on its foundations. The room fell silent. Within moments the neighbor below was screaming through the floor boards, smacking her broom on the ceiling in her fury.

Cas laid on his back, staring at the ceiling in a daze, tracing a crack running across it with a blurry dark finger. "Ooo~" He sucked in a breath, before his loud laughter once again filled the apartment, as he rolled around incessantly.

Ade raised his head at the thud as his lover crashed against the floor, waiting in tense anticipation of a cry of pain, only to roll his eyes at the incessant giggling that sounded straight after. He pressed his head against his shirt, which he’d rolled up into a makeshift pillow, and sighed deeply, letting his eyelids flutter shut after an utterly exhausting day.

----

…I can’t believe you’re doing this.” Gus growled, looking up at his brother in contempt. Adrian avoided his gaze, flicking away an invisible strand of hair as Angus lowered his head again, scowling as he fiddled the other’s cufflinks. He dropped Ade’s hand as he was done, staring at him harshly for a few more seconds before his face softened in concern, “You don’t have to do this, Ade. If he’s offering to pay you – or worse, threatening to hurt you if you don’t - ”

“-Don’t be stupid, Angus.” Ade said, cocking an eyebrow and shooting him a dirty look. He straightened his tie, again, breathing exaggeratedly against his extremely tight chest in an attempt to loosen up. The nerves were making it extremely difficult to take anything in properly, let alone Angus constantly bothering him about the decision he was about to make, as if he knew at all what he was talking about. “He wouldn’t lay a finger on me. If you weren’t so scared of him, you could talk to him yourself – and you’d see that he’s a damn sight better person than you.” Ade’s voice was shaky but proud, and he straightened up in the mirror, looking at himself self-consciously and biting his lip.

Behind him, a few close relatives – little cousins, uncles, even Adrian’s grandfather – were sorting their own attire and chattering excitedly, in between generous gulps of celebratory whiskey. The two brothers kept their voices down, scowling at each other in the mirror. Ade toyed with the gold engagement band around his ring finger, his palms slick with sweat.

“It’s happening, simple as that.” The doctor finally huffed, trying to tell himself just as much as he was telling Gus. His green eyes snapped around to Gus’ blue ones, narrowing as his mouth curled into a satisfied smile. "If you don't like it, you can leave."

Cassidy stood in the next room, being mauled by his mothers. Sabe stood off to the side, watching with the tiniest of endeared smiles. Alecia was already crying, and Rozelyn kept patting Cas on the back, making references to... Later that night. Which only make Alecia wallow in tears even more.

Cas began ducking out of Alecia's grasp, as she played with his hair, and used her own motherly spit to wipe away a bit of chocolate that Cas had messily wolfed down despite her protests. "A-zaa, Mom, you have been getting me ready for hours- I. Am. Fine." He huffed, dodging with a lean backwards her fingers, as they batted at his nose.

A woman peeked in from the door, holding the hand of a tiny red headed girl, who held a tiny white basket of flower petals. "Ready?" The older one whispered, and Cas gratefully nodded, hopping out of his mother's grasp. Sabe came up next to Alecia, hooking her delicately by the arm, and leading the crazed woman away, whose dark cheeks were streaked with tears as she peeked over her shoulder at her son. Rozelyn followed them close behind, sniggering after she elbowed her son, whispering the comment, "You look good. You're gonna stun him. Especially later~"

Cas shifted in his fancy clothes, straightening himself out so he was comfy, readjusting the top, and what his parents had wrongly moved. The flower girl prematurely stepped forward, tossing a pile of blue petals into the air at Cas with screech of joy, clapping in excitement. "Adrian's mummy is beeeetaful!" The blonde woman shushed her, smiling with a shrug at Cas from where she knelt. No one had explained to her that Cas was a man, or that not everyone that was in a relationship was a 'mummy'.

Cas grinned at the little girl, leaning forward and giving the small child a noogie. Her fine hair lifted up, the fine red strands twirling up around in the sunlight that flowed in through the tall windows, bouncing off the white and cream colored walls like it was also dancing at the occasion.

Behind the doors their cue blasted- the sound of organs and a bagpipe. Cas straightened up quickly, huffing his chest out as the first form of nervousness welled up in his belly and chest, clutching at his heart. The tall doors began to swing open before them...

I think I’m going to be sick.” Ade muttered, gasping tensely as he squirmed on the spot. The familiar sense of nausea was strangely absent from his stomach as he waited, but he said it anyway, casting a worried gaze over to Lydia from the other side of the altar.

She smiled sympathetically, straightening out her tailored suit and clasping her hands in front of her. “You’ll be fine, Adrian.”

Ade’s chest only tightened further as he saw Alecia, Roza and Sabe take their places from a side door, shuffling in the front seats. Alecia’s eyes were watery and she dabbed at them with a feeble, tissued hand, sniffling quietly as her eyes scanned around the cosy main hall where the majority of Ade’s family were gathered in rows. Tufts of light brown and auburn hair were dotted around the room, with Angus sitting anxiously at the front, his legs covered in the same deep red tartan print as Adrian. Roza whispered to Sabe in amusement about something, and the father rolled his eyes, stifling a chuckle and shaking his head. He briefly made eye contact with Adrian, who puffed his chest out as he took a deep breath in, hands clenching together behind his back when music started playing.

He shuffled on his feet as he heard footsteps approaching, with the squealing of his little cousin’s excitement echoing across the room as she ceremoniously flung fistfuls of petals in the air. The doctor kept his head down for a few seconds, before tensely raising his eyes, biting his lip as all stood and the bride stepped out. His worried expression was almost immediately replaced with a sigh of relief and a euphoric smile, the embarrassing sting of tears welling up as he caught sight of Cassidy for the first time. The other started to strut up the aisle, teetering on his heels and grinning in amusement. It was a tiny prank on Cas’ part – but one Adrian actually found funny, and the doctors lips pressed together as he stifled a surprised chuckle while the whole picture came into view

Cassidy’s dress was – as tradition – a sheer white, contrasting with his darker skin tone and hair. It fell neatly from his broad shoulders with wide straps made of lace, complementing a choker of the same material, and gathered at the chest in a vague heart shape before flowing outwards, giving the illusion of a feminine physique as he swung his hips. The wild black wisps on his head were looked a little more tame than usual, thanks to Alecia’s fussing, and the worst parts were pinned to the side of his face with a white rose barette. There was no veil, but a tasteful jewelled tiara perched on the top of his head. In his hands he clutched at a petite bouquet of copper-coloured flowers, the same colour as both his partner’s hair and his home planet - they seemed to set alight as the sun streaming in through the windows hit them. Either side of him deeply accented voices whispered their approval, with Alecia’s and even Rozelyn’s sniffles becoming audible as he slowly made his way down towards his fiancée. The red-haired flower girl danced and sprung in front of him, whooping and cheering in excitement, getting scooped away by her mother to sit in the front row before she accidentally went too far.

Ade smiled sheepishly as the Lieutenant neared him, lowering the hand wiping at his eyes and shuffling closer to the altar, getting into position with another nervous sigh. Lydia moved back to give Cas a wide berth, smirking as she lifted up part of the train so he could climb a tiny step up towards Adrian. Now closer-up, the doctor could see a thin, dark smear of eyeliner on his lids, backed by a faint dusting of eyeshadow and a tiny smattering of gloss on his lips.

…Wow.” Ade gushed, clearing his throat and unable to keep the grin off his face as he met Cas’ eyes. The other smiled back, flashing a set of pearly teeth and briefly sticking his tongue out, before turning his attention to the clergyman whom moved to stand in front of them both.

Cas stepped out into the tall cathedral's hall of worship, the height of the ceiling shooting up far above him, the walls seeming to back bundles of meters away to make room for his approach.

Confident and gracefully, Cas stuck up his nose and began striding out across the hall, down the aisle towards Adrian. The white, flowing material bounced and swung around him with each step, making him swing his hips a little more to get the material to ruffle and twirl around his legs.

Lowering his eyes, that were locked on the tall golden organ far ahead, tracing its swirls and spiraled pipes with his dark eyes, they locked on someone impossibly more intriguing and beautiful to look at. His fiancé: Adrian.

The Lieutenant's eyes washed over the man, wobbling on his heels as he took in in the fiery red tartar and auburn hair that glowed in the golden sunlight bouncing off objects. His green eyes glittered, a pale green that enchanted him to remember that beach, and the glittering white sand- like Adrian's skin. The sunlight warmed his hands and shoulders as he passed by tall windows, adding to the dream's effects. But as he got closer, reminiscing about an island got less important than his fiancé before him.

Cas went up each step, one by one with the help of Lydia, raising the couple on a platform above the crowd of ready teary eyed onlookers. His dark gloved hands slid out from around the bouquet, handing it to Lydia so Adrian could eagerly take both, squeezing and molding them beneath his sweaty palms. Cas stuck out the tip of his tongue with a devilish grin; Ade looked about to faint from excitement.

The clergyman cleared his throat, beckoning the two who were busy staring at each other to turn towards him now. "Let's begin..."

Ade’s eyes were almost parallel with Cassidy’s, and he grinned stupidly as the clergyman began to speak, barely paying attention to the words as he opened the ceremony. He squeezed Cas’ hands, trying to relieve some of the tension that was still built up inside him. Behind the two their families sat and settled, with Sabe wrapping a sympathetic arm around Alecia as she refused to stop bawling.

“…Now, Adrian and Cassidy, please turn to face each other, so you may see the gift they are to you.” The clergyman urged, nodding at the couple to turn towards each other as they had been previously. Ade shuffled on his feet, gazing into Cas’ dark eyes as in excited chill ran through him. Everyone else in the room seemed to melt away, with just the two of them standing there in front of the altar gleefully.

“I will start with the groo-…er, Adrian. Repeat, after me.” He smiled at the auburn-haired doctor, shuffling a book in front of him as he started reading the vows. Ade swallowed thickly, starting at Cas with intense, determined concentration.

“I, Adrian Mason – take thee, Cassidy Petar – to be my wedded husband – to have and to hold – from this day forward – for b-better or for worse – for richer for poorer – in sickness, and in heal-health -” His voice quivered slightly in excited nervousness, however it was clear and understandable, unlike his binding ceremony vows had been. The priest smiled sympathetically, giving Ade a second to let go of Cas’ hand to awkwardly wipe at his cheek again, before nodding at the final phrase “…‘till death do us part.”

“Amen.” The priest said, before turning to the dark Lieutenant, not even batting an eyelid at his unusual attire. “Now, Cassidy – repeat after me -”

Cassidy's dark eyes bunched up as he smirked at Adrian, who was stumbling over his words. Adrian's words quietly reached his ears, Cas unable to suppress a cheeky gleaming smile as Adrian stared at him, tripping over syllables and mushing together words. He began silently chuckling as Adrian wiped at his cheek, while someone in the crowd said aloud a joke in a hearty Scottish accent, causing half of the attendees to bust out in laughter, and some tears to start freshly a-flowing.

The Lieutenant didn't break his gaze as the minister turned on him, staring straight into Adrian's verdant eyes. Cas leaned forward, taking his fisted hand from Adrian's grasp, and reaching up to ruffle the other's combed, glowing auburn hair. The sunlight danced through the strands that flew up, making the hair appear as though it was made of leaping flames. Cassidy giggled, spouting in Kershnaille and interrupting the minister, "I'll give you something to really be nervous over later when I-" He stop prematurely, because he was only looking to rile Ade up more. Classic Cas was awarded with a bout of laughter from Rozelyn, and tiny chuckles from Sabe. Alecia hid her face in her hands. The rest of the room erupted into laughter as Adrian's face grew red.

Cas began, glancing at the minister with a quick apology, "I, Cassidy Petar, take thee, Adrian Mason to be my wedded husband... To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness, and in health." Cas' words slipped out gracefully, flawlessly making his vow to Adrian, each syllable proudly enunciated as he stared across his pointy nose at his lover, their hands now grasped anew, Adrian squeezing the darker ones as if his sweat would make Cas' too slippery to clutch, his partner's hands held onto his tightly, crushing his fingers together in a ball. The Lieutenant adjusted the grip so their fingers were interlaced, never breaking the gaze, only grinning afterwards, flexing his fingers.

Ade’s face remained a rosy pink tone as the Lieutenant read his vows, blushing at both the seductive joke, and the slightly confused laughter that followed. He never stopped smiling, however, reassured by the firm grip Cas had on his fingers as he finished. The priest smiled, satisfied, and beckoned Lydia forward, whom fished two gold bands from her pocket, forcing the two to break their excited hand-holding in order to receive them.

Taking Cas’ ring, which was slightly smaller than Ade’s, he fiddled with it in his sweaty hands for a few seconds, before shakily pushing it on the other’s extended finger, “W-with this ring-” He murmured, eagerly and unprompted, resulting in a raised eyebrow from the clergyman. The doctor bit his lip, but he continued, breathing out a sigh of relief as he was reminded of the words;

With this ring, I offer – you a symbol of my love – and – and with it I – join my life to yours.” Adrian swallowed thickly, once again clamping his hands around Cas’ and almost making his partner drop the ring he was still holding. Ade smiled weakly, whispering a sheepish ‘sorry’, before offering out his pale hand for Cas to do the same.

As he was done, the priest brought his hands together over the two’s, smiling at them both, and nodding to the people behind them. “And with that-” He said, raising his arms ceremoniously, “-I now pronounce you spouses for life. You may…” He smirked as the two eagerly sprung forward towards each other, Ade’s arms curling around Cassidy’s waist and ducking down slightly to press their lips together. He tilted his head as their mouths embraced, sighing deeply in relief as he pulled the other’s body close to his. Excited whooping and clapping rang suddenly broke out in the church hall, the sunlight filtering down on the couple as if to bless their marriage with it’s warmth.

Cas let Adrian take his hand, frantically trying to remember the words as he began to early. He hoped his giggles wouldn't make the other fall apart, but he turned a brighter red as he stood there laughing at the other, completely amused by the nervous one's fussy attempt to eagerly make Cas his husband, and to get this other with.

The Lieutenant took his partner's hand, with a smirk scrawled over his face. He repeated the vow, sliding the ring painfully slowly onto Adrian's finger, tongue almost stuck out in a tease. Once he was finished, he dropped his hands, before Adrian hastily reconnected them, tugging Cas close prematurely. A firm hold around Cas' waist hauled him in close, green eyes flashing before his eyes thanks to his heels. Adrian still had to duck a couple inches down to reach his mouth.

The dark haired one's head tilted back as Adrian advanced, opening his mouth with a grin, raising his arms to bury his fingers in Adrian's fiery hair. He tugged his new husband closer, pressing his forearms against the back of his head and digging his finger tips into the top of his head, mushing their faces together as the applause died some. In the crowd Alecia clasped her hands together, sweating as much, if not more, than Adrian was. Tears streaked her dark cheeks and she jumped up and down in place jovially, pushing the back of her hands to his lips to hold back a squeak. Rozelyn started clapping harder as her son tugged Adrian in for some spelunking, while Alecia quietly mourned his innocence.

The scene fast forwardly past them running past the crowd, hand in hand, to the dining hall that had tables lined up in rows. They were sat at the head of a long table, at the far end of the room, their parents and closest family on either side. "Adrian- it's time to cut the cake~!" His auntie skipped up, her ugly yellow hat's ginormous bow bouncing along to her hopping. She handed the doctor a knife, the crowd began to clap.

Cas sat in his seat, admiring the other's back in his fancy clothes as he turned away to the miniature table holding the three tier white cake, lined with decorative lace and ribbons, and piles of braided whipped frosting. Atop there were mini figurines of them, a Scotsman with a kilt, next to a dark little bride, who comically and unrealistically was half the height of the male figurine.

Before Adrian got the chance to cut it, his grandmother stood up in objection. "No!" She barked, holding a fork high above her head, as if it were a pitchfork. The room fell silent, confused by her seemingly angry tone. "You have to use this she tossed the fork across to land on the table in front of her grandson, "And feed Cassidy the first bite. What's wrong with you?"

Ade breathed a sigh of relief, briefly panicked that something was wrong. He chuckled, reaching forward to grasp the little silver fork, “O-of course. Sorry, Nana…” He twirled it in his fingers, suddenly feeling self-conscious as all eyes fell on them again. Cassidy’s parents shared confused glances at the bizarre request, watching with intense curiosity at the primitive tradition. The doctor bent up to reach the highest tier, scraping a generous wedge away from beneath the miniature Cassidy’s feet. The inside was a rich deep brown and chunky filling– his grandma’s home-made fruit cake, no less.

Adrian smirked as he carried it over to his new husband, holding a hand underneath it incase he slipped. Several flashes went off as the family - mostly his aunt - started excitedly taking pictures. The wizened grandmother watched, pleased, from afar, scrutinising the Scot's moves to make sure they were doing it right. Ade stifled childish giggles as he held up the fork to Cas’ mouth, cocking his eyebrows at the other. He loudly ordered “Open wide,” in a purposely seductive manner, resulting in several cheers from their audience.

Cas lifted a single brow as the grandmother ordered the display. He sat back in his creaky chair, surprised at all the suggestive parts of the ceremony. Adrian stood over him, towering at least three feet above him while he sat, and ordered him to open wide. A mischievous narrow of the eyes, he sniggered, "Oooh~ Wish you used that tone of voice more often."

Rozelyn was shaking in her chair with laughter at that, only laughing harder as Cas snapped his jaw open wide with an 'Aaaah!', his gaze unwavering. This caused Alecia to groan, and she grabbed Rozelyn's shoulder and hid her blushing face in her sleeve.

Ade’s smile didn’t falter as the other curtly responded, and several amused chuckles rang out, Ade’s grandma cocked an eyebrow at the two, and Angus turned away, grunting in disgust as he tried to resume his conversation with his dad. Spurred on by the whoops of the audience and the slight giddiness after three glasses of champagne, Ade leaned in, retaliating with an equally sultry voice, “I think you’ll regret that, when you’re choking on my -” He quickly shovelled the cake into the other’s mouth, giggling with amusement as he recoiled in surprise. “-cake.” He watched as the other held a hand over his mouth, trying hard to chew and swallow it quickly before his laughter caused him to actually choke on it.

The rest of the family clapped and flashed with their cameras, Alecia reaching over and smacking Ade’s elbow feebly in protest as he resumed his seat. His grandma stared down at the two as she waltzed in to retrieve the heirloom fork, scowling at Ade with the frown that was permanently etched on her face. When she had her back turned to the rest of the family, however, she waved the fork at Ade, “I think we all know who’ll be the one choking tonight.” She sauntered off back to her place, winking over her shoulder at Cassidy as she did so.

The innuendo was a stretch and surprise for Adrian, and Cas' eyes bulged, beginning to laugh with a wheeze right as Adrian shoved the forkful of cake in. He actually choked, his laughter turning into a coughing fit as he reached desperately for his glass of wine, downing the whole thing with a few shocked blinks.

Before he could retort, Adrian's grandmother had for him, and he smirked with a huff, pointing at her as she walked past, "I like her-" He whispered, his laughter renewed.

Mischievously Cassidy eyed the other as he turned away to cut the cake finally, swiveling round in his chair to once again admire Adrian's backside. Ade delivered his husband the first piece of cake, and Cas held up his fork, scooping a hefty piece off, "Now- how about YOU open up?"

-------------------

Normally he would’ve felt a little silly, dragging Cassidy along with all these old-Earth traditions and rituals – especially with the other giving comments every few seconds about the ridiculousness of it all. But thankfully today he seemed quieter about it, only joining his parents occasionally in the confused glances and amused smiles. So the doctor remained grinning as he took Cassidy’s hand, silently tugging him up from the dinner table and leading him over to a cleared space on the floor.

The original nervousness from the ceremony had melted away, and there was a drunken rosy blush to his cheeks while the upbeat background music changed, slowly getting quieter and filtering out. He held Cas’ hands similar has he had done that morning, squeezing his hands and pulling him closer, sliding one arm around his waist. People started turning their heads from the tables there were chatting at, making little aww sounds as a cheesy slowdance song echoed through the hall. The doctor started rocking slowly from side to side, still unable to stop smiling as he leaned forwards and gently touched noses with the other, before attempting to sway in a vague kind of dancing.
