Breif Bio:
Epidote is the amalgamation of Emory and Spinel, the two served under the same captain on the well renown Schorl Squad for quite some time. As the newest and least physically imposing member of the Squad, Emory had been partnered with Spinel, a much more experienced gem. They were to cover each other's weaknesses until Emory had fully accustomed to the updated limb enhancers issued to her by the captain. They worked well together, despite their much different skillsets the two found much in common after the initial introductions were out of the way. And even after Emory had mastered her limb enhancers, the captain found it wise to pair the two up for various missions from that point onward.
Epidote was formed out of necessity, during a planet conquering campaign where the two were tasked on a sabotage mission deep behind enemy lines. A sudden shift in enemy movements had effectively cut off their original escape routes and made possible reinforcements next to impossible. Both were perfectly willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the mission, and had made it perfectly clear to their captain via communications. The Captain, however ordered them to take a different approach. Though it was against protocol, and seemed highly unwise, the Captain ordered the two of them to fuse. Loyalty to their immediate superior led the two to fuse, despite the initial awkwardness of it, and Epidote was soon using both their abilities to not only complete the mission but escape as well.
After that mission, the Captain encouraged the two to keep fusing in order to complete missions more effectively, and soon the two began fusing constantly. Acting as Epidote more often than not, the fusion served the captain for the next few centuries until their squad had been recruited to aid a researcher in the study of Earth's corrupted gems. After occupying the diamond moon base, Epidote and her teammates have been completing tasks around the planet.
Personality:
Taking after the two gems who fused her, Epidote is first and foremost a soldier. Loyal to her superiors and all the usual shebang. Gaining an easy going militant vibe from Spinel, and an aggressive stubbornness from Emory, one thing Epidote definitely is by any definition is confident. Able to relax in stressful situations, Epidote often times seeks entertainment in the sorrow/ annoyance of others. Often harassing her squad mates, getting reprimanded by the captain, and all around having fun messing around. She can be sly when she wishes, able to lie easily, coupled with her desire to annoy others it can get out of hand at times. Sometimes she'll lie for months on end just to get some form of humorous pay-off near the end.
Her cockiness isn't without foundation, with the skillsets of both a technician and a warrior, Epidote is often the jack of all trades among her peers. Able to provide assistance in most fields if one could tolerate her many annoying qualities. She often aides others just to later rub in how superior she is, though most of the Schorl Squad has learned to cope with it, and she will not hesitate to capitalize on another's downfalls should she find them. Though intent on annoying peers, this doesn't detract from Epidote's loyalty a bit. Even at her most annoying, she's always come through for her teammates, sure she'd tease them about it later but she'd always contribute nonetheless.

Epidote's smaller set of arms are usually equipped with limb enhancers, while her larger arms either wield a standard issue destabilizer or Spinel's Staff
Do you have a room or place you hang out: While off duty, Epidote often wanders the Kindergartens tinkering with gem tech and fighting Gem Mutants for giggles. She never bubbles gem mutants, unlike the Corrupted gems she and the rest of the Schorl Squad are hunting, she just poofs them and leaves them to reform later. .
