According to Second Ed, the Primordials created creation in order to take their rest from the wars with the Fair Folk. It implies another reason for the latter hating creation, as one might imagine that creation on its own wouldn't be much of a hindrance to them. And yea, they apparently dislike how it offers some kind of boundary to their infinity, but even in first ed they hinted at other worlds and universes.
