Within Corrina it is split into 6 factions, each with their own core values and jobs within the kingdom. On your 18th birthday you will be chosen by the spirit of one of the elements, you do not however have to leave your home since all elementals live together in towns or villages surrounding the castle. The fire faction value the rules above all else and are perfectionists, often being called kill joys, people with the control over fire are disciplined and usually become warriors or teachers. The water faction are more prideful and value intelligence, they become lawyers or doctors and are ambitious and persistent. The air faction are the most reserved and loyal of all the factions and have often been consider the most kind hearted. They become scholars and priests with many remaining optimistic in the face of danger. The earth faction is the faction of builders and farmers and are the most hardworking. Often called stubborn they are boisterous but reliable.
The other two factions consist of normal humans without the power over the elements. One group of humans live in the woods and devote themselves to the spirits, being master healers they choose not to interact with civilization and are protected by said spirits. The other humans are intertwined into the kingdom and do all types of jobs however a large majority of them do household jobs and work within the Queen's castle.
The unidentified are a new group of people that are arising from nowhere but seem to be linked with the rise of dark magic. They control all the elements and it has even been said they can hear the spirits.
While this is the blueprint of the factions it is not set in concrete, just because your person controls water doesn't mean they will have these traits of become a doctor. It is all up to you how you make your person.
