    Currently Charity is a very quiet and withdrawn individual. She really doesn't feel like she belongs anywhere for she views herself too different for this world. She'll only talk when she has something to say also. People tend to think she's colder then she appears. She does have a soft side though and one can see it when she paints for her paintings are very soft and peaceful. She actually loves nature and reading. She has an affinity for birds of prey and anything equine, especially horses. She's also very instinctive and perceptive. What she doesn't realize is her current behavior is a result of her past life in Remura. In her previous life she was more optimistic. She always willing to do what was right and did her best to protect as many people as she cool. However, due to her self-sacrificing and naive nature, when the Corruptive force started attacking Remura, something in her broke and she blamed herself for not being able to protect everyone, even though she ultimately gave her life to create a sanctuary in the Light Region.

    History
    Charity was born and raised in Texas Hill country, northwest of San Antonio. Her family owned a ranch so Charity learned how to ride a horse at a very early age. Despite growing up with a good family, Charity never felt at peace with herself. She only felt it around the horses and in the hills surrounding her ranch. Due to her quiet nature, she was often a target for bullies at her local school. Even though her siblings did their best to protect her, the damage was still done and Charity grew up with only her siblings and other relatives as friends. Charity was also very good in art and eventually would receive an art scholarship at a college in Upper State New York. Wanting a fresh start, Charity decided to take this opportunity to 'find her place'. Even though she loves the college, she still hasn't found her place yet. However, ever since attending the college, dreams have started plaguing her. What she doesn't know is the dreams she's having are those of her previous life. In her previous life on Remura, she was known Aveline Cartwright. Born in the Light Region, she was raised to be a sorceress and became very proficient at it at an early age. So much so that she was labeled as 'gifted'. By the time she was 16, she was old enough to travel on her own and decided to travel all over Remura to help others. She became very proficient in cleansing magic and shielding. During her travels she also learned how to fight with a blade too. All of this would be put to the test when she was 24, for that was when the Corrupted Force attacked Remura. She tried with all of her might to fight it off and stop the spread of corruption, but it would be too much for her. Wanting to at least protect her homeland, she placed a magical barrier around the area where unicorns roamed, near the place of her birth. With other Magic users she would give her life to stop the corruption, but ultimately failed.

While being as confident and clever as Murdock, Arthur is far less crude and abrasive. He is wild, but not nearly as fickle and flakey. Arthur is fiercely loyal and will go to great lengths for his friends and family. But he still holds a level of bluntness and honesty that can get him in trouble in many social situations.

History
Arthur grew up an only child, born in California but raised in Washington, he always felt like there was more to life than what was told of him. He always had a desire for more, and for things greater than what others provided him. He did well enough in school, but very quickly began disregarding his academic responsibilities in high school. After many fights with his parents, an agreement was made that if he focused and took school seriously, they and other family members would help pay for his college so he could pursue the things that interested him the most.

After graduating high school, having agreed to the terms of his parents, Arthur was quick to find a college and begin his quest for freedom. All his life he felt there was something missing, and he decided he would find out what it was in New York. Bidding his family goodbye, Arthur went off, beginning a new chapter in his life, not knowing what the future held for him, but being excited for it all the same.

Confident, Conceded, Cunning, and Clever. He was seen as fickle and rarely showed any steady loyalty or commitment.

Despite being such a wild card, Murdock held some good qualities that made him worthy of being a guardian. But he did not show these qualities to many, openly.

History
Nothing is known of Murdock before his arrival in the lightning region. A young man with powerful air magic and schematics the likes of which were never before seen in Remura. With the help of inventors and engineers from both the lightning and metal regions a warship designed for aerial travel was constructed. In the following months, Murdock quickly acquired a crew of misfits and rogues from all the regions of Remura, each capable of great magic in their own right. With his crew, Murdock traveled and quickly established himself as the pirate king of Remura, using the weaponry of his ship to obliterate opposing fleets and devastate entire battalions of troops should they dare attempt to deny him his title or threaten it's legitimacy.

After a brief few years of terror and piracy, Murdock began work as a mercenary for the different regions and even provided travel for those who could pay or simply agree to a set of terms Murdock would have for them. During his days as pirate king he had amassed a number of enemies, rivals, and allies. After encountering a magic user from the light region, Murdock became one of the guardians of Remura. And while his days of piracy continued even after becoming a guardian, there was far less violence and lawlessness in comparison. He would meet his end, alone, piloting his ship against the corruption after establishing the first sanctuary, falling in battle as free in death as he was in life.​

    History

    Tungsten: Having grown up in a poor home in the metal region, his father was a minor while his mother was a mender. He was taught from a young age the value of hard work, and also taking care of family. When he was 16, he was married off to a girl from another poor family, and their marriage started off in a rocky state. But after their first child, they had grown to love each other. They had a total of four children, and his ability in metal extracting was the most powerful in the kingdom. He became fairly prosperous, and soon his family was able to move into a better area. But suddenly the corruption came and took his family from him. His three sons were enlisted into the army, and all perished. While protecting his how town, there was a guardian there who witnessed his prowness in metal bending, in which he liquifies metal and reforms it in the air. He became the oldest guardian and often helped the younger guardians temper their abilities.

    Ferris: Born in a mining town in Colorado, he was surrounded by minors and their talk. He was groomed to have a fascination with metallurgy, and decided to go to college for that. Other than that he had the typical american teen life. When he graduated high school he moved in with his aunt in California and volunteered at a Rescue the Youth program and taught kids sports and metallurgy.

History: Cymbeline was born in the Fire Region of Remura. Cymbeline was always a very passionate, curious, and eager young woman and showed an interest in Magic at a very young age. Her parents noticed Cymbeline's interest in magic and taught her everything she could learn about Fire Magic and as she seemed to have a natural talent for it she ended up becoming a powerful Sorceress and Guardian of the Fire Region. As well as magic, Cymbeline also had a love and interest for the Animals and the Animals of the Fire Kingdom, in particular, Cymbeline was very fond of the Dragons in the Fire Kingdom. Cymbeline was also a very charismatic, loving, and nurturing person and so she made friends with lots of animals and people in the Fire Region and across Remura. Once the corruption came to Remura, having made a lot of friends, animal and people alike, Cymbeline did her best to try to protect and save as many of her people as she could before putting up a Sanctuary to protect the Dragons she cared so much about until she met her untimely demise.

What is a Laine? Or better yet, what is a man but a miserable pile of secrets!? To answer that, Laine is what could be described as a fool. Not in the sense that he's lacking intelligence, but more-so in his way of acting. Some might describe him as the mirror image of an extravert who has their life together, brimming with confidence and concisely marching towards a clear goal for the future. But some mirrors are warped, and others bear cracks. While there is a degree of confidence in him, the majority of the connections he has are people kept at arms-length- never close enough to hold. Doubled down with a penchant for teasing those who attract his interest, and a persistence to meddle in matters that he has no right to be part of, and you have the somewhat annoying 'mischief-maker'. Or to some a pest.

Violence is far from the preferred method, especially if that happens to be the result of his curiosity, though intervening for someone else is an entirely different story. As such, he'd bred rumors of being a 'miscreant', but the sacrifice of reputation or even getting a bit scuffed up was nothing against doing what he felt was right. To that point, he tends to showcase a bit of impulsiveness, and that leads to recklessness in pursuing that or those who he becomes curious about. It should be noted that recklessness and fearlessness are not one and the same in his case, as there is at least one thing in this world capable of making his blood run cold. But within the model, lies yet another fatal flaw to his image. Due to numerous factors, his future is an aimless one, and rather than think about that unshaped future, he simply continues wading into that murky water.

Despite his... eccentricity, Lain is surprisingly adept when it comes to emotional matters, even growing to be empathetic from an early point in life. In similarity to his previous incarnation, Laine is surprisingly perceptive- some may argue even more so than in his previous life, now that he has some level of emotional understanding. As such, he's quick to show kindness in his own way, often doing so under the guise of whatever reasoning he can come up with for the sake of sharing another's burden. Being a shoulder to cry on, or even antagonizing someone into lashing out, with enough persistence, he'll eventually help or be folded beneath a burden he couldn't handle.

But until that day comes, the fool will continue pushing forward while living life one step at a time.

History:
Laine was born in Misery.... Er- I mean Missouri. Being the firstborn child, he was very quickly acquainted with the role of being a pair of first-time parents' biggest hurdle, which was surprising given that one of them was an accountant and the other happened to be an insurance broker. Despite this, his life started off in a quaint and cozy home with an unremarkably safe neighborhood surrounding it. Their home was just out of the way enough to avoid any tourists. With the stability of his parent's careers, it was rather smooth-sailing for the young son of the Spencer household. But that all changed when Kaylee and Kyler came into the picture. In the middle of the night, Laine was woken by his father and dragged to the waiting room of a hospital, still dressed in his dinosaur-printed footie pajamas. He simply sat there in a daze.

Many hours, and one nap later, and he awoke to see two pink and pudgy babies with one in either of his parents' arms. These two would define the next years of his life, from their annoying screams in the middle of the night to their growing incessant desire to prank their elder brother as the years flew by. In spite of this, he couldn't find it in himself to be angry at the twins, and he began to dote on the two- admittedly spoiling them far too much. School hadn't been an issue until one day he noticed a flyer on an announcement board by the office. It announced tryouts for a swim team. Given his love for swimming, he went all out in this, and up into middle school he began participating in the swim team. Given the accomplishment, and his siblings pressuring their parents, the family took a trip to a relative's ranch where they supposedly made their own ice cream. Something which amazed the children, despite being a simpler thing in retrospect.

While the twins were milking one of the cows, Laine was with another of the workers handling a calf, and the young animal began to panic. Laine happened to be behind the creature as it started to get more agitated. Needless to say, a swift kick led to a cracking sound and an exclamation of pain. Given the misfortune surrounding his now broken arm, he was unable to participate in the swim team for the remainder of his middle school years. Additionally, he would suddenly break out in a cold sweat whenever he happened to be near a bovine from this point forwards. Thankfully, this hadn't inhibited his ability to make friends. If anything, the cast had been a welcome chance to get a few more. Though he was teased relentlessly by his teammates for "breaking a bone to skip practice."

High school was when things had really kicked off though. In his first year, a scout from some school up north had come looking for him. The promise of a scholarship for joining their team when college got closer came up, and a simple "I'll think about it" pushed the urgency back. Part-time jobs and monetary troubles came about and before long the scholarship offer came around once more. Given the penchant for mischief he'd harbored over the years, his parents had been a bit apprehensive towards the proposal, but caved to his wishes after a bit of back and forth.

Upstate New York? As good a place as any to find yourself. Or at the very least, a decent place to cause a bit of trouble!

Personality:
Kleis is a bit deceptive in his personality. From a brief conversation, he comes off as aloof and distant. Often, if pressed for a response, he would respond with something like "Too bothersome" or "Hmm.. is that so?" As such, it wouldn't be atypical for someone with a sense of urgency to find his behavior rather unpleasant. Following this, his face, which seems to remain blank on many occasions, makes it quite a challenge to understand what is going on in his head. Much of this grief is unintentional though. In truth, Kleis is one who is deeply attentive, often leading him to fall into deep contemplation where he is seemingly 'absent' from the conversation. Coupled with the seemingly endless pool of patience he has for everyone other than himself, you have the unfortunate combo of someone who will overanalyze every aspect of a situation.

In terms of his emotional abilities, he's rather kind to those he happens upon. Yet any kindness, or positive emotions, directed his way seem to have some sort of misunderstanding. He's still likely to accept said sentiment without processing what it means. In a similar vein, he often appears hesitant to exhibit his own emotions outside of any microexpressions he unconsciously presents. The only other occasion on which he expresses himself would be in combat. Truthfully, the majority of his emotional 'confusion' and even his way of thinking comes from a deep-rooted case of self-loathing. Paired with a tendency to bottle one's emotions and the result is a silenced ticking time-bomb.

History:
Allegedly, Kleis was found resting atop the dented cap of a glowshroom, wrapped in swaddling clothing. He was said to have been staring up at the top of the cave all while remaining eerily silent. Throughout his youth, this had been the story his mother told him, but just from their looks alone it was impossible for them to not have been related. Though the home they shared was far from glamorous, if anything, it was barely enough to support the two of them. But all the same, it was a warm place to rest his head, and a loving home filled with the whimsical nature of a mother. Much of his time, outside of what had been set aside for educative purposes, was spent playing with the 'neighbors'. Initially, these were merely children of the races who called the Dark region home, his closest friends coming predominately from the werewolves who came to play. But soon this friendliness began to spread to the less... sentient friends dwelling in the caves, much to mother's horror.

In that time he learned of his first love, a beautiful pale visage which he rarely managed to see in full. Every so often he would manage to sneak out of the caves only to find himself staring up at the night sky of the Earth Region. Almost every time she was there to wait on him, all the while seeming to shine brighter than even the stars in the sky. On one such night as he was watching her coast through the sky, he was happened upon by an odd individual. A tall lady dressed tip to toe in black, and bearing a veil which obscured her face. In the coming years, she would be his mentor and, under her guidance, and the thinnest shred of natural talent, his growth as a practitioner of Dark magic began to bloom rapidly.

Perhaps it was the fault of childhood naivety, but excitement brewed a desire for approval- to show off. "This gift is not a toy, or trick. Respect magic, for it won't do the same for you." The words of his mentor fell upon his own deaf ears. In a fervent desire for praise, a lapse of control quickly warped into a downward spiral. The injury wasn't fatal, thanks to the intervention of the veiled lady, but what Kleis had done was something he couldn't undo. A scar inflicted on the mother who had only ever shown him love, and a face full of fear and confusion directed at him. It shook him to his core. It wasn't the magic which had caused this, but his own negligence. He had hurt someone. That night, he was taken away by that Veiled lady, a means to refine his control and hide him away from those whom he might harm.

Growth continued once more, though stifled at first. Fear had grasped his heart and like an invasive vine sought to choke out his growth. "Bone-white Boy, if you're scared that you'll hurt someone again. Then, learn to control it to keep such a thing from happening again." With time, Kleis came to do just that, and as the 'Bone-White Boy' became a 'Bone-White Man', his position as a Dark Sorcerer was recognized. The threads of fate pulled him from her side as he found himself bound within the tapestry they wove. Guardian, a position he'd never consider himself fit for and yet it was bestowed upon him. But the others who bore this title, interested him greatly. In times of them being near, he couldn't help but to observe them, only ever speaking with them in reaction to being approached. In spite of the distance between these people, he would come to silently consider them as cherished allies, perhaps thinking one-sidedly this way.

Soon none of that mattered as a poison, corruption, began to flow into the planet's veins. Regions had begun to fall, and with it many of those who inhabited them. It seemed that one-by-one they were being taken down, the world they loved was being robbed of everything they stood to protect. Every moment from the first notice onward was either used for recuperation or the creation of the sanctuary, it's central point being none other than the town he'd once called home. Soon that threat came knocking at the doorstep and those known as the Guardians answered. Weakened and broken, the decisive battle came to a close as death lulled everything to stillness. Kleis Lyall had joined his fallen comrades in defeat...

Personality: Lux was a very inquisitive but kind individual. He could be described as oblivious to a lot of things by his peers. His interests lay in knowing all there was to know by going out into the world. No amount of danger could stop him from making a new discovery. Intelligent on a rather strange array of topics. Lux was a downright dork when talking about his interests. A courageous soul by nature. There was no stopping Lux from pushing forward to protect those in danger. Not even losing a limb was enough to snuff the light inside of his heart.

History: Lux Rios was born to a traveling family of healers. Although from the Light Region originally. He would also find himself feeling comfortable in other regions as well. Although having some talent as a healer. Lux chose to train as a swordsman after a man from the Metal Region saved him as a child. Finding swordsmanship coming naturally to him. Lux would eventually become an adventurer in hopes of seeing everything the world had to offer. One of his adventures had him discover a relic sword within an old ruin. The weapon bonded to him and the leader of the expedition ceded it to him since the sword drained magic from everyone but Lux at a dangerous rate. When the Corruption began affecting his homeland. Lux chose to stand on the front lines. Those early days of the conflict saw the Light regions attempts to purify the corruption failing. Lux himself lost an arm to the corruption. This helped give rise to the myths of the One-Armed Knight, a moniker given to Lux when he continued to fight despite having only one arm to swing his sword.
