Biography:

Eleanor was raised in a small town in Alaska, with a father who left on work trips often and a mother who preferred to leave the young DuMonte child to her own devices, spending evenings locked in her room to drink her Mommmy-Juice. While most would have been outside playing with friends, little Eleanor would be immersed in her books or experiments- Most of which involved her trawling through the woods by the playground and writing down everything she knew about the flora and fauna she came across. She was always a strange little girl, and when her teacher realised that she had excelled far beyond her peers academically, she insisted that her mother allow her to take specialised classes or skip a few grades. Her mother of course declined, preferring to believe she didn't have a child in the first place.
She had one close friend, or, to be more specific, two. Her best friends were a set of rich twins, they had been close since childhood. She would still keep in contact with them under Longmire's roof.  Her first year in middle school ended on a poor note, with plenty of bullying. Eleanor never realised what was happening because she thought they were just being her friends. She also didn't really get involved with middle school drama and politics like most children. She was granted a scholarship to a school for gifted children for the rest of her middle schooling, and when high school rolled around it was a surprise for Eleanor to be transferred back to public schooling. She lived with little to no money to her own name, and was entirely shocked to have been scouted by Longmire.

Personality:

Eleanor is an odd girl, she's practically a genius. However, what she has in book smarts, she lacks for in street smarts. She is socially inept, she can pick up on physical cues but has no clue what they mean or how she should behave. She talks a lot when nervous, spouting off random facts or things she's noticed around them. She doesn't have many friends, and hates being touched by most people. She is a bit of an outsider in most groups, finding herself rather alienated by others. Her few friends are the only people that Eleanor will actively cling to and follow around. She is very analytical, occasionally viewed as aloof. She is just awkward around most. She is just awkward around most, vacillating between rarely speaking and not shutting up. Eleanor is fairly clueless when it comes to most things, completely missing any subtleties unless she is told explicitly.

Companions (if any):
[Now, I don't know if I will follow through with this idea. So don't hold any of this to heart]

A young peregrine falcon born with malformed wings she rescued as a chick. She named him Alaska.

Other Stuff

She brought three large suitcases, one entirely stuffed with various textbooks. She doesn't have many clothes, and used her own clothes to wrap and protect the more fragile mementos she brought with her.

Video Essay:

What would you do with a (enter obscenely large money relative to the kid's current wealth)?  You can write it up as Takes.  The holovid recorder would come with the letter.  It would be about the size of an Android tablet folded in half.  The kid gets to keep it.

This doesn't half to be done right away.  And it can be added to with more takes even after arriving.  I don't care if the character is serious, sober, records his dog doing things only dogs do.  Just list the Takes in order they are done
