Kagoma calm herself for battle. Her soul felt calm instead of the normal hyper soul. " Alex turn into your sword mode please" says kagoma as she resonate her soul. Her plan of attack was to attack nose hair jerk from earlier.

@Strawberry Preserves @SpookySableye

"Ok Yuuki, I'll do it." Alex replied as soon as he heard Kagoma say the command. Quickly, he joined hands with her, and began the transformation into a weapon. As his heart rate slowed, Alex began glowing a bit of a light blue color for a second, and then fully transformed into a silver and blue katana in Kagoma's hands. "Wow; that was easier than I thought it would be." Alex was happy that he was able to transform well. He needed to remain calm though, as him and his meister were about to fight some people.

Solomon remained stagnant, a cooling, tepid feeling washing against her soul as he was wielded by Glaive. His breathing went quieter, not attempting to dissolve or restrain himself, yet his focus simply grew so immense on Hoshiko and his new Meister Ibuki that his body remained relaxed. His mind was eased, not tensed while even in weapon form he found a comfortable feeling in Glaive's grip. Every blink radiated a new thought, and every thought brought on more communication between the two, yet this communication was nothing but silent, only communicating by the rhythm of Glaive's muscles moving forward as well as the beats of their hearts, Solomon found that it truly was possible for someone to hear his voice, his speech and how he felt in every which way. He could only smile, in his weapon form he remained composed, confident against the people who he stood against. He owed it to his meister to win this battle, because she remained open to him and his words, his guiding and she radiated back. They were in constant conversation with a medium completely engaging possibly more than simple talking, they were resonating.

Let's go kick some ninja ass.

Glaive focused, her eyes never leaving the battlefield. For a second, she listened to Solomon's battle strategies, trying to picture them in her head as she worked them out. A smile again came to her face, her posture becoming aggressive. She held the circular end of the spear up above her head, the pointed head out in front of her readily. Her hands smoothly moved along the rod flawlessly to find a comfortable battle position. She placed her right foot out, knee bent, waiting for the right moment to lunge.

Her entire body tensed, and she launched herself forwards in a burst. Her eyes shimmered, and she came closer, the spear blade held out in front of her as she charged. She had a plan, the plan Solomon had come up with. She made a quick jab towards the ninjas, stopping herself but using her momentum to continue the movement towards them.

Her smile radiated ferocity, and she became enthralled with the moment. She was ready for any actions against her, and telling Solomon what she felt like in more ways then one. Her thoughts were of joy and satisfaction, ready for this fight. The resonation allowed that, as she forcefully kept the jab going through, many thoughts flashing through her head as she did.

Ibuki went through thoughts in her head about her ninja training, remembering what she was taught. Ibuki was focused. She paid attention to each pairs muscles, looking for muscle tension from those who were going to strike. When Glaive's muscle's quickly tensed before she lunged, Ibuki saw and quickly readied herself. This is going to be fun. Ibuki quickly pivoted on her left foot, bringing her right side in front of herself as she grasped Hoshiko with her left hand, swinging the end farthest from her in a quick arc onto the incoming spear. She kept the momentum of the attack and placed the end of Hoshiko not on the spear, behind Glaive. Using her momentum against her and pushing her forward to get her off balance. Basically, a counter I would think it would be called. After doing so, she rushed forward, twirling Hoshiko on her left side. She swung the bo staff in a side upward arc, aiming for Glaive's side. Imagine like it's Robin from Teen Titans.

Battle time~ he wouldn't be surprised if all the other pairs decided to target him first, after his earlier display. But that... that was fine. In fact, it might be beneficial to him. Friendly fire was a thing, after all. The ground here was concrete. Hm, he could work with that. "As if I'd lose, blondie." His golem ran around him in circles.

A wide smirk spread across his face, and he grabbed the double-sided blade before she fell to the ground. She was pretty light, contrary to how she looked. With a Weapon in his hand... he felt powerful. "Hm, not bad. Not bad at all." He touched a finger to the edge, and smiled widely as a drop of blood formed at the tip. "Oh yes. You've exceeded my admittedly low expectations for you. Hey! If we get separated, you should try and stab one of them in the back." Harsh laughter broke from his throat, and he spun Kylei around. "Hey maggots! Wanna get fucked up? AhahAhAahehehAhaha!" His eyes flickered to the bitch from before who thought she could tell him what to do. His bloodlust began rising at the memory.

First target, get~! Oh, he'd splatter her all over the concrete.
"My, it's the violent.... thing... from before. I wish I had a better description for you, but you really didn't stand out before... You must be flattered that I remember your previous existence." He pointed Kylei at her, and bared his teeth in an aggressive smile. "At least be halfway entertaining." UFO tilted Kylie's blade to catch the sun, reflecting the light at the girl's eyes. He ran at her, swinging with the clear intent to maim her.

However, Ibuki would find her attack topped dead within its tracks. Solomon knew that her attack was easily too fast for Glaive to react appropriately or be useful other then simply counter, so he decided to take unorthodox action. Before the bo staff could meet its target, Solomon's hand quickly stopped the force and held Hoshiko's bo staff shaft with his right hand, half of his body phasing outside of his weapon form as he made no mistake to simply leave his opportunity unaccented upon. His hand placed firmly onto the shaft, the bones stinging from the direct contact he pulled the weapon forward, a firm grip on Hoshiko as he made sure not to give Ibuki the choice of simply absconding without penalty. Now, she was at good range that if she dodged Solomon's following attack, his left hand formed into a spear head as he aimed for her left thigh, she would have to let go of her weapon, the likes of which would be quickly berated as the two would be separated. However, the other edge of the blade remained in how she would quickly be immobilized, her thigh bleeding from a direct hit as her opponents would have an edge over them.

Kylei Crysten

"Ha.... Your jokes are too cruel to make sense..." The blade gave a resolute smile and kept her gaze on the opponents. Her eyes wandered over to the female meister from before and her weapon. Well, since Glaive and Salo were busy with the other pair, they'll have to take these two down... She wasn't gonna lose to them, even if she couldn't do too many actions, her own weapon self was good enough. And she would have to move at will if she had to, no matter what the danger.... The double sided blade had given her loyalty to her meister. Now, as a weapon, she would have to protect her partner and observe the opponent. Crysten carefully gazed at the girl to see if she would block with one hand, or two..... Otherwise she would have to narrowly dodge their first attack.....

@Shippo

" wow you feel light alex I thought you be heavier"says kagoma as she swings alex around in her right hand. Their souls resonate well for a first time.

Suddenly kagoma is blinded and attack by ufo. She barely dodges leaving just a scratch on her arm. The wound bleeds and blood drips down her. "That's a dirty trick" says kagoma. She goes on the offensive attacking attacking him. Kagoma gets close to him and kicks ufo with her soul wavelength " soul kick" sending ufo backwards.

Kylei Crysten

"Aha! So she's using her right hand to wield the sword... Ahahaha..." She happily theorized out some disadvantages before the female meister began to aim for her partner. "Hey!" Crysten spun herself as quick as she could, using Nose Hair-sama's arm to bring herself up cover his head, the kick hit the flat side of the the blade, but the powerful force of the opponent's soul wavelength knocked them flying backwards.The weapon found herself tumbling to the ground with her meister, the small drop of blood on her edge being washed off by the wind. "Tch! That was close!!! If your head fell off, then we wouldn't have won... But now I'm sore!!! What the hell was that kick?! Uaaa.. I'm so glad I wasn't that desk from earlier... I would've died!!! Man, it must've hurt--" An Idea popped into her head as she took another glance at the girl. The desk... Her right hand was bandaged. Injured. Kylei grinned as her reflection shined onto the blade. An injury.... Could be a disadvantage, even if the lady didn't show any pain right now, she did get it bandaged a few hours ago... And that wasn't enough time for a sprained limb to heal... Hm...

"Nose Hair-sama! You see that wrapped up hand? Remember the orientation? Remember the desk incident a few hours ago? That's her injured hand!!! It could be a disadvantage.... And hopefully if we do it right, she won't be able to use any of her two hands for this battle... Uaaa... And then she won't be balanced enough to kick me again..."

@Shippo @SpookySableye

More laughter bubbled from UFO's throat as he flew backwards, flipping in the air to land on his feet. Blocking that hit... actually took effort. That wasn't too bad... but it wasn't good enough either for him. "That was Soul Menace. Attacks you with an incompatible soul wavelength, blah blah blah. It's supposed to cause internal damage most of the time. Also, you could've strained my arm with that maneuver. Don't do it again." He adjusted his grip on the handle of the sword. "And... I'll give you a bronze star for pointing out the obvious." UFO rushed Kagoma again, slashing at her right. At the slash's zenith, he released Kylei, letting the double-sided sword fall into the arms of the golem that circled behind Kagoma.

UFO grabbed Kagoma's right wrist in a painful grip as he released Kylei, and pulled her close to him. She wasn't as strong as him either, judging from her small stature and light build. He tightened his grip on Kagoma's thin arm to exacerbate her previous injury. A small, serene smile formed on UFO's face.
"I should break your legs for trying to kick me." His smile became deranged, and UFO kneed her in the gut near her kidneys violently, adding his own wavelength to the attack. She used Soul Menace first, so he felt justified in doing so. Not that he wouldn't have done it even if she hadn't, hoho. "I think a kidney would do just fine~ That attack was enough to make you piss blood, you rancid pile of shitty mustard. Next, though..." UFO wrenched her right arm sadistically and suddenly, aiming to worsen her sprain or dislocate her shoulder. "Next are your arms~"

All's fair in love and war. Only winning was allowed.

Hoshiko reacted as soon as he got grabbed and Ibuki was going to get hit. He couldn't let Ibuki take the hit, and he couldn't let her drop him. So, he chose a different option. He changed his form, so he wouldn't be held by Solomon but would end up in Ibuki's hand, and transformed from the bladed chain bo staff to the ninjato. As the spear blade came closer to hitting Ibuki's thigh, she saw that Hoshiko had switched weapons, a ninjato. A very common ninja weapon, and one she had a lot of practice using. She quickly brought Hoshiko up, slashing away the spear end right before it hit her thigh. She adjusted her footing quickly, and back flipped. Getting a good distance away Glaive and Solomon while also kicking Solomon, trying to disarm Glaive . Once she landed, she reset her stance and held Hoshiko in her hand like this.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_10/th5K32UPPB.jpg.da5211315760ca3fed8412498e3732c0.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="79472" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_10/th5K32UPPB.jpg.da5211315760ca3fed8412498e3732c0.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p> "Quick thinking Hoshiko," she gazed upon the meister and weapon, waiting to see if she disarmed Glaive so she could quickly capatalize. "Thanks, but it isn't over yet. Let's try to weaken them. When we get the chance, we either flash bang or divide and conquer. Remember though, always be ready to adapt."

Very quickly, Kagoma and Ufo began dueling. Ufo rushed at Kagoma, which she responded to by attacking him with Soul Menace. "Wow, I almost forgot she could do that." Alex thought, "we could win this." He thought to soon, however, as Ufo had ended up grabbing hold of Kagoma, violently kicking her in the gut, and seemed to be trying to break her arm. Alex saw bloodlust in Ufo's eyes while he was doing this too. It didn't really help his case either that Ufo was slinging many insults at Kagoma, and was threatening to maim her.

"Oh crap, this guy isn't screwing around." Alex thought, "But wait, this is just a fight, right? That's normal." He began observing Ufo, trying to see if he could find a weakness, but that was proving to be futile. "Geez, this guy's a freaking sadist." Alex exclaimed to Kagoma, who was still trapped by Ufo, "I couldn't pinpoint a weakness yet, but if you can find something, I'd want to do it now before he breaks your whole arm." While saying this, Alex began feeling more and more dislike towards Ufo. He seemed to be a jerk at first glance, but seeing him be overly violent to Kagoma was really starting to get Alex angry at him.

Glaive's eyes widened as Solomon was almost shoved out of her reach. She stumbled backwards, her grip almost faltering as the kick targeted the pole. She recovered, however, and grabbed the end of the spear in an overhand grip. She then used her other hand to grip the shaft halfway down from underneath, then sloped the spear ever so slightly. She awaited Ibuki's arrival, her position ready for anything.

It was a flexible posture, able to smoothly move to anything she so desires. Her eyes were challenging, a huge grin on her face. "Good one." She stated simply, here eyes focused on her opponent with a fiery intensity. She slid one of her feet slightly behind her, preparing herself even more for drastic movements. Her attention was then drawn to the pleading kid for a moment, not knowing how to react in the midst of battle.

Her attention snapped back to Ibuki, but still listened to the kid's story.

Solomon! It's the kidnapper!

Glaive thought, her expression becoming more fierce as she thought about how many weapons had been stolen from their partners, and where they were now. Why would someone do something like this..? "I think we should go investigate. This person needs to be stopped." She stated firmly.

Both Hoshiko and Ibuki listened to the kid, but kept their attention to Solomon and Glaive. They didn't know if the two would want to help or continue the battle. Ibuki wanted to go and help. She had heard rumors about the stolen weapons and it pissed her off. How dare someone kidnap a weapon from their meister? Meisters and weapons made bonds, close bonds. Taking weapon from their meister was basically like kidnapping someone's family member as far ass Ibuki was concerned. She knew that they hadn't had much training together and should train if they were to stand a chance against this weapon thief. But Ibuki didn't care. She wanted to help.

Hoshiko on the other hand, did feel close to the same way, but wanted to train more. If this weapon thief could defeat meisters and weapons that were more experienced then himself and the other first years, what chance would they have now? They just started attending the DWMA that day. If they were to try now, surely they would be defeated and Hoshikok would be taken. He felt Ibuki's grip tighten as the person finished the story. "

Ibuki, we just now started working together. It wouldn't be wise to go after this kidnapper right now. We need to train."

"But Hoshiko, the longer we wait to fight him, the more weapons are kidnapped!"

"Ibuki, if we fight him we lose and I will be taken. Not to mention what might happen to you. Do you want that?"

"No..."

"Then let's continue the battle, unless the other two want to go help. I can see a team of first year students maybe defeating this kidnapper, but the chances still seem bad to me."

"Hey Glaive, will you and Solomon be going to fight this kidnapper or do you want continue the battle?" Ibuki remained readied, just in case they would want to fight still.

And that is the end of the first battle! If everyone could please head back to the main In Character Posts until further notice, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Eyes followed the movement, equally keeping notice of the male's expression as it changed with thought. Luckily for William, however, Kayden was more used to a katana, not the weight of the broadsword. Reaction time was fast, but movement was not; he raised the sword parallel to him, blocking the swing of the opposing blade.
At the same moment, the weapon's soul gave a minor lurch; both within the katana and the human body. He had caught the fluctuation, but had forgotten to take it into consideration for the bigger picture. Even though his expression remained unchanged, the main section of the soul felt like it sighed, swelling and deflating to "handle" the newer wavelength of the meister.

But, that was irrelevant at this point. Swords were locked for a moment, Kayden's eyes focusing on William's expression. "Keep in mind," he said then, daring enough to remove one hand from the hilt of his broadsword, "that your opponent's actions could change in an instant-"

In example - with his hand out to the side - the broadsword swung upward suddenly, clashing with the face of the katana with seemingly one goal in mind; disarming.
((Fallout 4 is taking over my life.))

In that instant their swords were locked, another clash of metal rang throughout the forest as the two remained at yet another standstill. William intended to be the first to break away but that train of thought was quickly derailed by Kayden breaking the silence.

"Keep in mind,"

He's planning something. William thought, choosing to still remain silent, his eyes quickly catching hold Kayden's hand leaving his blade, a suicidal move for any swordsman wielding a blade that requires two hands.. Unless—It was too late.

"that your opponent's actions could change in an instant-"

Will's attention snapped back to the blades as a sharp pain ran up his wrists. His katana flew a few inches up in the air before plummeting back down to the ground. The hilt of the blade being at least a foot away from him. In a real fight, he'd be dead by now. But against Kayden he may still hold a chance. The move, while disarming William left Kayden wide open. The impatient meister threw a punch directly at the Raven's gut, hoping to at least get a single hit in.

@Hoki

Oh wow hahah Honestly I don't blame you//

It was a hit he indeed managed to land, a rush of air leaving the weapon. He doubled over with the punch, a bit startled by the movement; the only evidence of this on his face, however, was the slight widening of his eyes and the raising of his eyebrows. William - being his opponent - changed his course of action in the instant Kayden had raised his sword.

Without being fully aware of it himself, a sort of chuckle left his lips. If that's how you want to play it..

Then, he dropped, his free hand grabbing hold of the other's wrist to keep it locked in one place; he hadn't dropped very far down, so there was little to no change in the position of William's extended arm.

Of course, that wasn't the goal.

Broadsword buried a bit in the dirt, it served as a support - a kickstand, if you will - and kept Kayden in a more stabilized form despite appearing awkward. A leg snapped out from beneath him, swinging with enough force to bring the meister down.

When William would fall, his wrist would be released, allowing him to fall without restraint. In that time, Kayden would rise to his feet and free the point of his broadsword from the earth. Strolling over to the blonde, he would position the sword at his throat; a sign of victory, should nothing interrupt.

@Imaginative Code

William couldn't help but grin when the hit connected. It'd been the first hit he'd landed. Little did it he know, it would also be the last.

If that's how you want to play it..

He fucked up, and he knew it. William without a doubt was fast, but his combat skills were nowhere near that of Kayden's level so there was no way he'd be able to work his way out of this fight as the winner. Then he felt something latch onto his wrist. From there on out it all went by too fast. Before he knew it he was flat out on the ground with a sword to his neck.

"I admit defeat." He mumbled, blowing his bangs from out of his eyes. He was clearly not too happy about losing.

@Hoki

Emotion finally returned to the weapon's face; a sort of smile stretched his lips, appearing small but friendly nonetheless. He laughed lightly, removing the sword from its position over William's neck and holding a hand out to him. "I won," he stated, tilting his head enough that his bangs would sway, "Albiet you did a fairly decent job."

It wasn't a lie; the meister had, after all, landed a hit and took Kayden's words of expectancy into consideration in the process. Tables had turned multiple times, and if he could blame anything, he would blame the fact that he had forced some really bizarre fact onto the poor boy. Who could split their soul, right?

The male pulled the other to his feet, his smile dropping into a small frown at the contact. His soul had given another lurch within that action, making him just as concerned as he was suspicious. However, he would ignore it for now, stabbing the broadsword into the ground before he started to turn towards the discarded katana. "How did you feel about that?" Kayden asked, referring mainly to the fight as a whole.

@Imaginative Code

(To be honest, I think we might be able to go back to the main one now. I mean, I think the fight's over? xD )

Rayo and Tori hadn't been on many missions at all since Rayo had asked For to be his weapon. They had previously had problems pulling of soul resonance, and decided to take a break from each other so their souls weren't interfering with each others. There had been obvious tension between the two. It wasn't necessarily negative, in fact it was the opposite. It was a positive attraction two one another that caused the conflict within their souls, seeing as neither confronted their feelings head on, but Rayo refused. He wasn't going to let it get in the way of their obligations, bug it seemed it would either way.

Despite his understanding of all this, Rayo was willing to take the hard route instead of the easy route. Instead of giving in and confessing, Rayo would make their souls resonate. Today was when they'd become a true team.

After class Rayo waited at Tori's locker as usual. He planned to break his idea to Tori on how they would soul resonate. "Today will be the day." He said to himself.

@DarkElite020

Tori walked over towards his locker, like he had always done after class. There he was expecting his partner Rayo to be waiting for him.

Tori walked down the hall, his backpack slung over one shoulder, and a black scarf wrapped around his neck. He wore a nervous expression as he walked, but at the same time he was happy. Tori was a little saddened at the idea of leaving his partner alone for a while, but he wasn't upset too long. He knew it would be better for them both to take a break, but it still wasn't easy for him. By now Tori knew that without a doubt that he had a crush on Rayo, and he loved to spend time with the meister.

He usually blamed himself for a majority of the failures to resonate with his partner. He would often get too nervous of messing things up or embarrassing himself in front of Rayo that, it would distract him from actually focusing on resonating well enough to actually be useful to the meister.

Aside from that though, today he was happy, because he would be able to see Rayo again. For once Tori was determined to focus today and make Rayo proud of him, even if it meant he would risk messing up or doing something dumb.

In the meantime, he soon reached his locker and stood before his meister. He gave him a soft smile and a "hello."

Tori was considering confessing to Rayo soon, especially since valentines day was coming up. Though he was still worried about it. A relationship between the same gender was often considered weird, and it worried him that Rayo would think it was actually odd. Then it would be painful to be with his meister, and he certainly didnt want that.

@Leone

Rayo stood there for a second after Tori had approached him. He stared at him with a goofy grin for a couple seconds, but as time went on, his features began to droop until a visible frown had etched it's self into his face, and tears began to sting the back of his eyelids. No longer able to hold it, Rayo proceeded to hugtackle Tori and began crying; speaking of how much he missed him. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH, I'm sorry I made us separate. I just wanted to be able to resonate with youuuuuu!" He wailed.
