Xio'wai Yan's annual martial arts tournament is one that holds a lot of history. It has existed for approximately five-hundred years, predating a lot of the technology that is currently running rampant on Earth. Due to its longevity it is the Earth's most watched and greatest funded event by far, millions of viewers have their eyes glued to the television or computer screen during its broadcasting. The hype surrounding this year's tournament is greater than ever due to the very sought after prize— dragon balls. The tournament is accepting new contestants until the moment the tournament starts. The line spans several kilometers with more contestants than a helicopters camera can capture. There are some very strange people among-st the crowd, all of which are human. Many are toting various fanatical costumes with stage names and a few have chosen to show up in a t-shirt and their favorite pair of jeans. The strangest of the competitors have yet to arrive, however.

Far above the sky a light seemed to spark in a intricate manner. The spark was only bright enough for only the most perceptive individuals to catch a glimpse of. It seemed to grow bigger with time, as if it were approaching the Earth at an incredible pace. Finally the light was bright enough for many to see. Several contestants pointed to the sky and jeered, pondering what exactly was going on. The lights proximity was close enough now for its form to be obvious- it was a space craft as large as an airplane. Perhaps capsule corp. was testing some new sort of aircraft, many had inquired to ease their worries. Despite the similarity it had bore to many of capsule corps. devices the ship was completely alien and it would soon be landing.

The ship was dangerously close now, and everyone realized that it was not slowing down. Panic seemed to overtake as the line to entry was split to avoid the ships path, a crash was imminent. The ship slammed in to the Earth's surface sending a cascade of mud and dirty flying in every direction! The circular ship skid against the Earth's floor borrowing deep. It destroyed countless stands and cosmetics, but luckily the crash had no human casualties. Finally the skidding was halted and smoke had begun jetting out of the ship obscuring the vision around the area. Behind the smoke a mechanical door slowly began to open, until it had clicked in to place.

A peculiar creature leaped out of the ship and on to the surface below it. It had carried an object in its arm, which was obscured until the moment it breached the smoke and appeared plainly for everyone to behold. There were several gasps, whether they were shocked, horrified or awed is something that cannot easily be determined. The object in the creatures hand was a large bone from an unknown specimen— the remains of what used to be the ships pilot. With a wide mouth the creature gnawed in to the thick bone as if it were paper. He hardly needed to chew before gulping it down. Admittedly, it was hard to keep himself from eating many of the delicious looking humans that had gathered here. Organic life was relatively vacant on his home planet, so to see so much here was pretty overwhelming. New things to taste, new treats to indulge himself in... he was beyond enthused to get eating. He felt ashamed when he realized that he was drooling... that was not why he was here. He needed to participate in the tournament that he heard about and win its prize. "Is this where I sign up?" the bug had spoke plainly to the surrounding crowd, taking another chunk out of his former pilot's remains.

Within a small house in the city, a pod tucked away in the back deactivated, the door unlocking, and shifting up as the man inside fell forwards. After taking a few long breaths, the man slowly stood to his feet and made his way into another room, where he found his clothes hung up inside a closet.

Huh. Wasn't asleep long enough for this stuff to rot away, at least. Thanks for the small miracles.

After putting his clothes on, he walked back into the room where his pod sat. Checking a screen on its side, the young man was able to receive an update on his physical status, and after reading it, he pressed a button on the machine, causing it to descend into a small storage area beneath the floor.

Alright. I'm in good shape, everything looks up to standard, now to get an idea of how long I've been out....

The man turned on the television, switching through the channels in search of some news as he poured himself a glass of water. He found it soon enough, but his attention was drawn by something a bit more interesting. Apparently, a spacecraft of some sort had landed near the site of some tournament, with the prize being some items called Dragon Balls.

So, a bunch of strong people fighting for a bunch of badly-named artifacts that can grant someone a wish?

The young man stared at the screen in shock, his glass overflowing as he tried to comprehend what he was looking at, unaware of the massive grin forming on his lips...

---
Not long after, he stood in line for that same tournament, glaring up at the large man he held in his grasp, lifted a few feet off the ground.

"You're taking waaay too long, big guy. How about you stand aside and give someone else a turn?"

Tossing his victim aside, the man walked up to the signup table, slapping his hands into the table.

"The name's Moeru. Sign me up, already."

Suddenly, Moeru hears a 'CRASH!' behind him which startles the people at the table. He turns, eyes raised in curiosity as he examines the pod and the alien creature that climbs out of it. He whistles softly, turning back towards the men and women at the table.

"Heh, looks like things are bound to get a bit more interesting here, don't you think?"

"Dad, calm down I'm fine." Hera laughed as her father and creator checked over her body. He was doing last minute preparations, checking her coding, her robotic cell fiber, etc. "I can't take any chances . .." he muttered, finishing as he dusted her off, holding her shoulders as he smiled. "You've . . . Grown so much."

"I've been Nineteen for five years father, I don't believe that's much growth." She said with a laugh, but nodded. She hugged him, "But regardless . . . I'll always be your baby girl."

Dr. Manhattan shed a tear, coughing as he nodded. "Good . . . Now go on, you don't want to be late now." Hera nodded, grabbing her blade by her side, and running out of the mansion. She blasted off into the sky, white ki flourishing around her as she laughed. "I love flying!" she yelled into the sky as miles and miles whipped by her as the flew faster.

She stopped as a ship flew to earth, maybe it was capsule corps? But it wasn't stopping. She gritted her teeth, moving out of the way as it crashed into the ground. She blinked, sensing the energy from within. "Well then . . . " she muttered.

Algidane
As Algidane flew through space, with absolutely no care in the world, he watched how beautiful every planet was. Some of the planet's had a lush green terrain, whilst some looked barren with speckles of creatures. Surprisingly, he wasn't getting pulled in by any of the planet's gravity, all the while he was still searching for a special planet. A planet with deep blue water, because he wanted seafood. Driven by the thought of seafood he flew faster until he had found exactly what he was looking for. A planet with bits of barren terrain, lush green and of course water. He dove directly into the water from 700 miles out and once he got close to the water, something jumped out. This thing had very large teeth, a white underbelly, a gray topside, fins, two dark black eyes and it smelt delicious. He ran full speed into the thing and knocked it out and ate it alive. After he ate it he felt as if he consumed enough food and that this planet was interesting enough to explore. Then as he started to walk he remembered that he heard many rumors about this planet's famed Dragon Balls and the tournament that is conveniently being held today to dictate who receives these Dragon Balls. He wandered the planet in search for this tournament and without the help of others he found the tournament registration desk and went on to wait in the line.

She shook her head, flying back down as the inspected the person whod stepped out. It was . . . A shock, definitely, to see a standing bug, holding a bone, and walking out of the fallen ship. He was a large, almost grasshopper like insect, with a green exoskeleton, and large black beady eyes.

He dropped the bone, easily being what Hera imagined as the former pilot of the ship, and looked around. He had asked where he was to sign up, and she blinked. No way, he was signing up? It was a shock to the young Android as she raised her eyebrow. She shook her head, and turned, to see something that looked . .. oddly familiar.

It was some kind of arcosian like being, she remembered hearing of the frozen race from her Father, some of the strongest space pirates in the galaxy. He had designed her part of them, well, her cold resistance at least. Any more and her body would normally reject the designs and cells. But what was it doing here?

No way.

Was he joining to? Well, it seemed so, since he was in line for it. She floated over to him slightly, not too tense, but not to laid back as she tapped his shoulder. She had already lowered her power level since she exited the house, now to the less than normal amount for a human, "Hey there." she spoke with a soft smile, "You gonna join to?"

Ivy continued to practice with her sword. As long as she was on this ship she would not stop training, as she didn't know whether these "humans" were threats or not. She decided she'd find out soon enough. She continued to hit invisible foes when suddenly she felt gravity shift. She looked out the window and saw that she was heading into the atmosphere of this "Earth".

"I hope they have something to eat ... I'm starving" Ivy stated aloud even though no one else was around. She watched out the window as the ship was heading towards a forest. Once it was about a 100 feet from crashing, she put it into manual pilot and began to pilot the ship towards a giant island.

"I can sense a lot of people here, this may be the place ..." As she got closer she noticed the giant line of people and decided that she was probably right. She looked for a place to land and decided that right next to the other space ship would've been fine

"I guess they expected aliens to come. They already have parking for ships!" Ivy said aloud as she started to land the ship, next to the other one. Once landed she walked out, her skirt flowing in the wind, her sword strapped to her side, although she could always make a new one. She turned towards the giant insectoid, " Excuse me ... Do you know where registration is?"

She blew a strand of her hair out of her eyes and spotted a plant on the ground. She grinned and picked it up, popping it into her mouth. She didn't expect this planet to have poison ivy but she wasn't complaining. It was her favorite snack. She mentally noted how many of the humans looked at her in disbelief. She pouted. Didn't they know it was rude to stare.

Algidane Ize Algidane waited in line, with a sort of tense feeling in his body, but it had nothing to do with the tournament ; the feeling was more of a 'I don't like standing in close parameters with people'. He by no means enjoyed his time standing in the line and when he saw some green alien he felt less anxious knowing he wasn't the only alien like creature here. And as he relaxed he felt someone tap his shoulder and ask him if he was joining. He turned around and looked her in her eyes and even though he had never thought this of any race other than his own, he realized that she was cute. He smirked and his cold eyes lit up as he looked at her and said

"Yes, I am joining."

those were the only words he could muster as this was the only interaction with someone else he had in about a week, because he was too busy flying through space and fighting people to talk.

Hera smiled, giving the strange arcosian like being the best grin she could muster. It was both half genuine, and half fake, as she studied his body up and down.

She'd never seen an Arcosian like this before. He was definitely . . . Something. A bulky, demonic appearance, two horns on the sides of his head. He was taller than her by about 5 inches, but then again, who WASN'T taller than her?

She laughed, moving some silver hair from her face as she let the strand of hair rest beside her. "Interesting, so what brings you from so far away? You obviously aren't man-made, and you have no robotic parts or anything considering that of a human. Any specific reason?" She kept her blade behind her, always at arms reach. She didn't trust anybody.

She caught his eye, however, as he looked her up and down, and struggled not to react rashly. She had to remind herself, not before the tournament. She couldn't risk getting kicked out, not with his life on the line. Instead, she just gave him a soft smile back, her brain wracking with what to do.

Moeru watched as the new additions to the tournament grew stranger and more exciting by the minute. A number of Aliens, all seemingly attracted to the same spot, meaning they'd all likely been drawn by the dragon balls.

Makes sense, after all. They've probably got some good reasons to be here. Not that any of it will even matter...

After he was registered, Moeru walked off, stretching as he looked for a place to be alone, before the battles to come. He sat, crossing his legs as he relaxed.

He closed his eyes and slowly dragged his ki to the surface, his body exuding a pale clear aura that grew larger by the second.

"Do you always have to sit so still? You're not a statue, you know..."

For an instant, Moeru gasped as his aura surged, growing far more noticeable than intended, and shining with a light shade of red as he snapped out of his thoughts. Moeru tried to catch his breath, clutching his chest as a tears fell from his eyes.

Timothy wandered down to the stadium. Thankfully, the tournament was just a quick fly away, but since he had shown up somewhat early he had spent the last two hours seeing the sights in the surrounding city. His meandering route had taken him to visit a small museum for a bit, before he finally made his way to the tournament. Arriving and waiting on line, the line eventually progressed to the point where he was about to sign up...when...an alien spaceship arrived and the occupant asked to sign up. Hell, the alien had obviously killed the pilot like some kind of parasite! And...no-one was going to deal with the obvious space-corpse?

Well, hopefully the government could benefit from the autopsy. Still, aliens were really nothing new: Look at the Namekian Elder who kept the Dragon Balls active in the first place. In any case, he had some papers to sign. Later, having completed the sign-up process, he wondered what he would do before the matches began. There was a man sitting alone, projecting his aura and...crying? Timothy, not one to leave a man in such a miserable state, moved to Moeru and said, "Hey, are you alright?"

"It's a tournament Sir.
Yes Sir.
Fighters from all over the planet.
They say even contestants around the Universe are going.
It's something called the Dragon Balls.
Any wish you could possibly want...
Play by the rules?
You know we could just take over the planet and steal- ....
Yes Sir.
The best Fighters they say Sir.
Of course Sir.
Whatever you wish Sir.
Wouldn't tell a soul."

With that she lifted a finger and pressed a finger into the ear piece communicator, effectively switching off the line and leaving herself to her own thoughts, as she leaned her back against the wall and stared curiously out of the window of the Galactic Air Ship. Even despite her earlier resistance, the woman couldn't help but let a grin flow from ear to ear. The strongest of the strongest they say? Well that sounds exciting.. A once in a lifetime opportunity even. She didn't much care about these Dragon Balls, which was probably for the best. But if it was a chance to fight all these supposedly exceedingly strong contestants... who was she to judge? The woman let her long thing tail unwind from around her waist to flick and twitch behind her in a clearly excitable manner.

----

Earths atmosphere appeared in the horizon and when the Air Ship the size of a decent sized Fighter Jet hit it's atmosphere it started to glow and shake a shudder. Huge thrusters roared into focus and just how the air ship had landed not to long before them, this much bigger Air Ship landed with a much more dignified grace on the West Side of the Tournament. Once landed, there was a huge expulsion of steam and gases as the chambers inside depressurized and slowly a massive wing door lowered and slammed into the dirt of the Earth into something similar to a ramp. Once the ramp was locked into place with an audible echo that responded for miles, Eve stood to the entrance with her arms crossed and that same self entitled smirk covering her entire face. She didn't seem worried, far from it. She glanced over her shoulder for a moment as her mouth opened, like she were talking to people inside the Air Craft though whomever was inside wasn't in view yet. And with whatever that was, said, she turned and walked straight down the ramp and across the field closer to the tournament.

Reaching up a hand to press to her Scouter, peering around curiously to the plethora of different power levels, Eve was somewhat woefully underwhelmed. They were all pretty weak, at least in her opinion, but she still wasn't aware if they had even learned to hide either power levels. Either way, she had a sinking sensation this tournament was going to be a white wash and that bored her to no end. The girl with the huge mane of hair, tied surprisingly well in a braid down over one shoulder, walked straight past the huge line to the sign up desk. Here, she got a call or two from annoyed contestants waiting, and once she got to the desk she grinned as she hooked a leg out and swung it rather quickly to trip up the guy standing before it, watching him land with a gasp flat onto his back. Then, rather uncaringly, the woman stepped straight on over him to appear before the Judges.

"Contestants.... Three of them." Holding up three fingers as she did with that same arrogant smile plastered on her face.
"Saiyans." She further explained when she was asked about her race. Her shape sky blue eyes breaking their visual on the two judges at the table before peering around the other halfway infuriated contestants. "And please hurry up with this Tournament. I really dislike waiting around, as does my Leader. So if you could please? And do tell me you have more then this scrap of toddlers participating... If this is it, you may as well just hand over the Prize now!" A hate filled laughter ripping through her lips.

Nagato

Nagato walked up to the female saiyan, calmly putting a hand on her shoulder as he looked down at her. "Now Eve . . . Calm down. You're scaring the natives." He nodded over his shoulder, and gripped her shoulder. "You wouldn't want to jeopardize the mission would you?"

It was less of a question, and more of a threat, as he glared down at her. Of the Group of Saiyans that had came to the planet, Nagato might have been the calmest. He always was calm, not much of what the Saiyan handbook said that Saiyans were, but who cared?

Unlike the other Saiyans, he always liked to keep a calm and cool posture, never letting anything get to him, and never letting himself show any sign of weakness. He never let anything get to him, and always kept his stern processed face. It has kind of just, become the norm for him now.

He sighed, and let go of her shoulder. "But really, that wasn't necessary."

Moeru's head snapped towards the man standing near him. He finally noticed the tears trailing over his cheeks, and wiped them away quickly as he stood to his feet. He took a deep breath and reigned in his ki, the aura around him fading quickly.

"I'm fine. Just a little weirded out by strangers walking up to me so quietly...Where's your heartbeat, anyway?"

Moeru stretched, looking the man over curiously. He wasn't exactly in the mood to talk, so he wondered what gave the guy the impression he was looking for conversation, or comfort, or whatever he was trying to do...

"Forget about it. You're here for the tournament, aren't you? You observing or participating? From your look, I guess the answer is participating."

His two black beady eyes peered to the sky as another ship had rapidly approached his own. It seemed that the tournament had picked up quite a bit of interest. The prospect of owning anything you could ever want whether it was tangible or not was enticing. The ship had landed must less abruptly than his own, likely because the pilot of the ship did not get a bite taken out of them mid-flight. Go grew hungry and the pilot was the most delicious thing in the ship by far. When the women stepped out of the ship his eyes focused in at her. He had starred at for quite intensely, looking her up and down. The women practically looked like a salad... after eating a bit of meat a few veggies would not hurt. Drool had pooled on the floor beneath him without him realizing it. It took him a few moments to snap himself back to reality and when he did the puddle of drool had seized.

The walking salad's words than resounded in his head, "excuse me...do you know where registration is?" Go scanned the area as he had wondered the very same thing. There appeared to be a very dense line of fleshy looking creatures built up not too far from where he stood. The insect did not care to wait in such a long line. He doubted he would be able to control himself for long if he did with so many delicious scents lingering in the air. "I think it is there Ms. Salad," he finally answered. The insect pointed a finger in to the distance to face the constantly growing line. With one foot after the other he had stepped towards the line to await his entry.

(Time Skip.)

The beginning of the tournament was rapidly approaching. There were 12,000 contestants in total-- some of which were not even from Earth. The battle arenas were small, but there were many of them. The arenas were approximately 30x30 ft. in scale with white panels. They were flat on the Earth's surface with the borders clearly visible on the green grass that stood below. The first round of the tournament was merely to breed out the weaklings and this served to make the process go by as fast as possible. The tournaments facilities were divided in to four parts, 3000 contestants had been sent to separate corners to divide them. Of course there were too many fights for all of them to be televised, thus the media had chosen to focus on the fights that they believed to be the most interesting.

All of the competitors had gathered in a crowd to be briefed of the tournaments rules by an announcer. "No weapons are allowed. If anyone is found utilizing any form of weaponry they will immediately be DQed and suspended from future tournaments. You are not allowed to kill your opponent. If a fighter is moved even a centimeter outside of the ring, then the victory is yielded to the remaining competitor. Flying is allowed inside of the ring, but not outside of it. Flying outside the borders will resolve in a DQ," the woman had stated in to the microphone for all to hear. When she finished the large monitor that stood behind her had sparked on. The monitor had held each of the competitors names as well as who they would be fighting. Next to their names was a number describing what arena the fight would be held in.

Eve Zefara vs. Goheane - Arena 289

Moeru turned as he heard the announcer speak, smiled as the request was made to head into the arena. He looked at the man standing before him and nodded.
"Well, it looks like that's my cue. Maybe I'll see you inside, yeah? Good luck, whatever you're here for."

Moeru made his way towards the listings, scanning the board for his name, and nodding in acceptance. He made his way to his designated arena, and stretched, calming his breath as he awaited the arrival of his opponent.

Silver turned away from the Arcosiam fellow she had been speaking to, keeping her power level lowered to a simple three, as she walked off. She turned, giving him a slight smile. "My apologies, but I must leave now~I am up to fight after all." She gave him a wink, pushing her white hair up as she turned and continued to walk.

She looked up at the board, checking for her name and nodding. "203 huh?" she muttered, nodding to herself as she bit her lip. She was excited, but shook the thoughts off. She needed to hurry.

She ran to her Arena, and sat in the middle, waiting.

It was honestly rather ironic that the man who he approached earlier turned out to be his opponent! Observing Moeru with his 3D Scan Mode, he discovered...cybernetic implants? Interesting. Combat cyborgs weren't too common outside of research labs, and many of them tended to be illicit, such as the dreaded Red Ribbon Army's R&D division. That would also explain how Moeru recognized that Timothy didn't have a heartbeat. Timothy had hid his origins as AH-1 for six years without revealing it once. Some people just thought he was eccentric for not using the bathroom or eating food with them. But none of them had ever come so close to discovering his secret as the man in front of him. This was bad. If it came out that he was a robot, people would start asking questions. And then, his origins as an RRA superweapon would come to light. When that happened, his career, reputation, livelihood and quite possibly his life were all forfeit to the whims of a judgmental public.

Thus, the obvious solution was to not let Moeru hit him hard enough to reveal his internals. The man was only about 11% stronger than him. He might actually be able to pull this off. Emphasis on might. The determination coming off of Timothy was palpable. Gone was the compassionate man who had tried to find out what was bothering Moeru. Now his eyes were like steel. However, Moeru might be able to barely detect...unease?

Algidane Ize
Algidane was about to respond, but before he could respond they said the tournament would start and so started to act more serious, as now he understood the stakes. He couldn't afford to be distracted by a beautiful girl who just so happened to wink at him, did she wink at me, realizing this Algidane high fived himself and went over to the board to see who he was matched up against. Nick Takemura, huh what an interesting name, at least by Algidane's standards.

Algidane moved to Arena 205 and started to warm-up his kicks, with all the battle experience Algidane had gained during his years as a mercenary, Algidane knew that if this person wasn't willing to kill then it was bound to be the end of his life. Even though Algidane said this he wasn't going to start at 100% power, but instead he was going to start at around 90% and gauge his opponent's power and once he did that he would spike his power from 95% to 100% in short burst exerting his speed to the max. One thing that Algidane knew he didn't have to worry about in this tournament was speed, but some might be faster than him he was quicker as he knew the moments where you need speed and don't using it efficiently. As everything seemingly quieted down Algidane began to think of more methods to increase his power during this fight as no matter what he wanted something out of this battle.

Moeru sighed when he saw the man approaching from the other side of the stage. He shook his head in disbelief as a laugh rose up unbidden from within.

"You again? Wow, that's ironic. Though you probably figured that yourself by now...Hey, Timothy, right? Tiny Tim? Hellooo!"

Moeru observed the man standing before him as he jested and raised an eyebrow, finding Timothy's sudden change in expression interesting, to say the least.

At least he's a bit less talkative and prying, but...for a guy who looks so serious, I still can't catch his heartbeat. I mean, it's not like I haven't met people like that, but he doesn't exactly seem calm enough to manage it. So, either he's just that good at controlling his own body, or...

Moeru immediately shrugged off the thought passing through his head and took up his fighting stance as well, a weak aura forming around his body. His grin grew even larger, even as his teeth started to grind hard enough to crush diamond between them.

"There's no way in hell..."

Eve Zefara

The Saiyan woman sneered in an arrogant manner, well up until the point she felt a hand resting on her shoulder. On her beautifully polished armor.. The woman couldn't help but tense up and one could swear her tail bristled as it flicked in a dangerous manner behind her. She turned her head a portion to look to just WHO would put their filthy hands on her body armor, only to see it Nagato, one of the three that was traveling with her. The fact he was always so calm and collected really drove the irate woman mad, and he would be well aware by now she absolutely detested being touched. So then it was a pretty bold move, on his part, when he put his hand against her shoulder and then tightened his grip. "You know what would jeopardize the mission further? You, if you don't get your hand off me right this instant... I wonder how weak a Saiyan would look with only one arm mmm? I suggest getting your hands off of me before I force-able rip it off."

She didn't like his tone. And for some reason he didn't think her actions weren't necessary. That made another heavy laughter rip out of her mouth before she twisted to face him and slapped the hand away in a not very gentle manner. "Oh please... I don't take the time to care for bugs and insects. If they are weak enough to be in my way they can just get squished for all I care. I'm not here for some stupid Mission. I'm here to see if this planet is capable of producing or attracting strong fighters. Damned what the Commander thinks!"

With that said, Eve turned on her heel and left the stern man and his silly expression be.

----

Little did she know her little analogy of bugs and insects would come to fruition. The Saiyan woman was first on her arena as she paced it curiously, peering to the flooring before looking to the edges. The thing that really annoyed her was the no killing rule. "Stupid Earthlings and their silly rules. I mean honestly, if someone dies it's their own fault for being too weak." As she waited she found herself with her arms folded behind her back and she was sort of teetering on one leg. No unlike how a Flamingo does, but high on her tip toes and she didn't look in danger of falling down. "Alright where is this guy anyway... it's rude to keep a lady waiting." She said with a sneer.

Silver stood up quickly, nodding at the girl who had came up, and gave her a short smile. "Sorry bout that," she patted her shoulder, "I'm in the wrong Arena~Silly me, must have mixed up the numbers." She laughed, giving her a wide grin before turning around and jumping out of the Arena, her blade in tow by her side.

She safely walked back to the board, checking her name, to realize she was in Arena 205. With . . . The Arcosian, Demon, whatever the man was. She sighed, shaking her head. Was she really going to have to fight the guy? He seemed so cool, and nice. She had actually began to, sort of like the fellow.

"Oh well." She shrugged, guess she had to drop the damsel in distress act. She stopped in front of the Arena Entrance, taking in a deep breath, and letting it out. She opened the door, walking up to him with a bright and wide smile on her face.

"Well, well, well. Look who I just happen to be paired up with~"

Algidane Ize
Algidane was slowly preparing for his battle with this 'Nick' guy, as he focused more and more on clearing his mind and focusing on himself. His mind began to run in circles as he realized that he never did this before a battle once, the only thing he ever did was wish for an Icejin gem on his abdomen. He opened his eyes to a familiar voice, then when he understood who it was he was, incredibly confused. He saw that girl that winked at him standing in front of him and he was confused, he swore he read that he was fighting a guy by the name of Nick.

Actually why do I care, a strong opponent is a strong opponent, this should be fun.

Algidane measured his opponent, she was simply stronger than him. He pondered why he could only think she, didn't she have a name or something, so Algidane asked.

"Oh. It seems I forgot an introduction, my name is Algidane Ize. I'm a Frost Demon and who might you be?"

Algidane felt satisfactory with that introduction, so he bowed. Then he took his fighting stance, by relaxing his arms guarding his weak spot, which happened to be his abdomen, so his arms stayed relatively low on his body. He got lower, which also lowered his center of gravity so he wouldn't lose his balance easily. He bared his fangs and waited for the match to start.

Nick finally moved. His attempt at being mysterious and hanging out in the corner to gather attention was unsuccessful. "Ivy Poi, ey?" He said to himself, hoping someone was listening.

"With a name like that, they must be a foreigner or an alien. Either way, they must have some rad moves."

No one was listening. This didn't didn't help his confidence, as he knew that the other members of the gang were probably jobbing to a jiggler, or something to that effect.

Nick made his way to the specified arena, humming his would-be entrance music. It seemed, however, his opponent wasn't there just yet. Licensing costs money, and there was no way he could pay that out of pocket. By legal means, anyways.

Ivy Poi
Ivy looked confused for a second before looking back at the board. Then she understood. She had gotten the opponents for 203 and 205 mixed up.

"I hope I meet her again, that sword looked pretty cool ..." Ivy thought as she turned around.

Once she made her way back to the arena she then noticed the man standing in the arena. She smiled and walked over to the male, "Hello. I'm Ivy Poi. It looks like I'll be your opponent."

She stuck her hand out, making sure not to accidentally secrete anything that would harm Nick before the battle started. If she was honest with herself, Ivy was digging the hair, jacket, and overall the entire look, but she couldn't let something like that get in the way of her mission.

"I have to win for my planet" Ivy thought to herself, hand still stuck out towards Nick.
