Mamura is normally very quiet and indifferent towards his surroundings. He is cold to other people, especially to girls, though this becomes less prominent later on. He didn't like girls most likely due to his mother, who had an affair with a co-worker and ended up leaving the family. After that, Mamura thought of all women the same, and was digusted by them. He is also normally perceived as cool and aloof, but proves to have a gentle and caring side to him that he rarely shows to others. Mamura also has a very adult-like side to his personality, he's mature. Initially, it is shown that when girls touch Mamura, he blushes profusely. This is because he lives only with his father and younger brother, as his parents divorced, and is thus unsure of how to act around girls. He's also a fast adapter, when the apocalypse began to break out, he didn't freak or think twice, he just fought and ran.

As stated in his personality, Mamura grew up with only his father and younger brother after his parents divorce, and because of this, he doesn't know how to treat women. He lived a rich boy's lifestyle but was never very fond of it because of the way everyone looked down on him, saying he was cocky and stuck-up, when in reality he just didn't give a shit about anything. After entering high school, Mamura joined the baseball team and eventually became the captain upon entering his second year. And now...this shit happens.
