Anime & Manga Does anyone have any anime to recommend?

I'm mostly creating this to complete my "ten posts 24 hours" requirement, but I've also run out of good anime that I haven't already seen. (Having access to an english dub would also be a bonus).

I recommend adding a list of what you've already seen and what sort of genres you're into, to get better responses.

Now before I fly away, for anime, I recommend Baccano! It's a fantastic fusion of Depression-era noir and fantasy with a non-linear plot, from the director of Durarara!! Exclamation points part of the titles, emphasis not mine.

1. ATTACK ON TITAN

2. OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB

3. SWORD ART ONLINE

4. RWBY

5. THE STUDIO GHIBLI MOVIES

I definitely enjoyed Ouran, Durarara, most of the Studio Ghibli movies, Madoka Magica, and Yuki Yuna Is A Hero! I appreciate all the suggestions! (Just a warning, I'm going to spam post on here (like 8 posts) so that I can hit my 10/24 requirement)

List of anime I've watched & come to love recently:

- Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

- Selector Infected WIXOSS

- Tokyo Ghoul

- Assassination Classroom

- Noragami

Hello and welcome to the site, by the way! We're glad to have you around.

Kokoro Connect is a personal favorite. Gosick is also a really good one. RWBY is awesome and easy to watch. Jormungand is nice if you are into action. Shakugan no Shana was a nice concept, though the 3rd season ruined it a bit... too much. I would not recommend watching Berserk though... that ending... Yeah...

1) Soul Eater

2) Free! Iwatobi Swim Club (MUST WATCH)

3) Durarara!!

4) Ouran High School Host Club

5) Sword Art Online etc.

I adored maid sama, and everyone I've recommended it to loved it as well so you should give it a try :) )

I'd recommend Yuru Yuri (seasons 1 and 2, haven't watched the OVA and anything after it), as a slapstick comedy featuring cute girls.

I've been marathonning Tokyo Ghoul this week :) Both seasons are on Youtube in English Dub and good quality.

Other than that I'd also say Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Wolf's Rain, Death Note and any Studio Ghibli Movie are all really good options!

I just finished the Konosuba anime and I completely recommend it. It's a great spin on the tired 'stuck in a fantasy world' series that swarmed in after SAO's 'success'. One of the few legitimately hilarious anime out there today. Other than that, Jojo season 3 and Tokyo Ghoul are good to watch.

Black lagoon if you have a craving for an occasionally humorous, yet also dark and gritty tale. Especially if you watch Roberta's blood trail after watching all of Black Lagoon. Best gun porn ever btw.

It also has one of the best, if not the best English dub which absolutely outshines the original!

Terror in resonance, just wonderful! <3

I'd totally recommend Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and even though it's not anime I'd also recommend Avatar: The Last Airbender ((anime is just cartoons anyway lmao)

It really depends on what kind of genres you're into.

If you like action/adventure, then One Piece or similar shounens (Attack on Titan if you don't mind some violence and gore).

Precure series is good if you want to see teenage girls beating up monsters with their fists.

For comedy, there's Nichijou (which is REALLY random), Yuru Yuri, Lucky Star (I never got into this though because there were so many references to other animes), and Haiyore Nyaruko-San. Love Lab is pretty funny as well.

Canaan and Ga-Rei:Zero are some good action anime as well, but don't expect any happy endings from them.

Also Madoka Magica if you want something dark and tragic.

For mystery/supernatural, I really enjoyed Occult Academy.

Aside from some good things people have already mentioned, I'd like to recommend Chihayafuru, Shinsekai yori or Kaiji. They're all very different, but enjoyable nonetheless.
