Fandom Disney: Fight For Imagination (CS)

Killerclown

Two Thousand Club
Imagination is often considered one of the most powerful forces in the world. Whole worlds can be created with just the thoughts of one man. For you, this is literal. Your world is one of these worlds, one that has literally come to life somewhere in the Multiverse and fueled by the collective imagination and wonder of Mankind.

Your world has no name, but it has many kingdoms, and many stories attached to it. It's a world where Princes rescue Princesses, where Beauties take Beasts, where lions rule over beasts, and where genies help street rats. But, what would happen to your world when the imagination begins to run out?

One day, a mysterious force dubbed as "The Blight" by Yen Sid, one of the greatest sorcerers in the Kingdoms, materialized in the World and began to spread out. Everywhere this Blight spread, it erased whatever it touched . As it spread, whole kingdoms vanished under it, leaving millions without a home and others erased without a trace .

After a year of this, only a few Kingdoms are left, and are currently under siege by The Blight, which has mysteriously stopped in its tracks. Fortunately, their may be a way to stop the Blight. The remaining great mystics of the world have seemingly found the source of The Blight and are getting ready to send brave volunteers to investigate?

Will you?

WORK IN PROGRESS

Name: Belle de Villeneuve
Age: 18
Movie/Series: Beauty and the Beast
Personality: Belle is a kind, honourable and selfless young woman. She likes to believe the best of everyone and sees passed appearances to the heart of people. She is a daydreamer, wise beyond her years and has a gentle bravery.
Reason for volunteering: Belle wants to help restore what she can of the lives destroyed by the Blight and bring back imagination to the world, given that she herself thrives on imagination.
History: Belle is the daughter of eccentric inventor Maurice de Villeneuve and an unnamed deceased mother. At some point in her early life, she and her father moved to a small provincial village near to an enchanted castle.

Belle did not quite fit in there as she liked to daydream of far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells and princes in disguise, whilst the villagers simply enjoyed their simple, rural lives.

One fateful day her entire life changed when her father was held captive at the castle by a mysterious beast and she took her father’s place as prisoner. From then on her life was never the same again.
Thoughts on the Blight: Belle has long since learned not to judge a book by its cover. She does not hate the Blight, only deeply saddened by the effects it has had on her and other’s lives. She is curious to know if there is some way to reverse its affects and restore beauty and joy.

Name: Rapunzel
Age: Eighteen
Movie or Series: Tangled
Personality: Rapunzel is a bright, bubbly, but headstrong woman. Very kind and sympathetic to others around her, and she can have quite an uplifting energy to everyone around her as well. Rapunzel isn't afraid to step out of her comfort zone, and is very determined to get what it is that she wants to achieve.
Reason for Volunteering: Since Rapunzel is sympathetic, she loves to help others in need, especially since she's apart of a royal family, she doesn't want those within her kingdom (or anywhere else for that matter) to be erased.
History: Her mother came down with a sickness while pregnant with Rapunzel, that would've of caused both of their deaths. However, the discovery of a magical flower allowed her to come into the world healthy, but with a magic touch, her long beautiful golden hair. Though a old woman, determined to keep the flower all to herself to keep her looking young, kidnapped the young baby from the castle locking her in a tower for a majority of her life.
Thoughts on The Blight: Saddened seeing the world around her disappear, but also slightly angered at whoever did it, she's impatient, wanting to get rid of The Blight as fast as she can, which is why she wants to volunteer.

Name: King Arthur Pendragon

Age: 13

Movie or Series: The Sword in the Stone

Personality: Arthur can come off as awkward and goofy, an inept youth who is always making a mess. But on the inside he is a truly brave individual, always ready to try new things and to help out those around him. He dreams of being a hero, of having adventures, and being a genuinely good person.

Arthur also loves to learn. From starting as an illiterate squire in training, Arthur has come a long way and now believes that knowledge is power. As such as King of England he wants to learn and experience as much as possible, otherwise he could never be a proper ruler.

Reason for Volunteering: As King of England, Arthur feels it his duty to protect the kingdom. Also he is excited to go on an actual adventure of his own.

History: The long lost child of the Pendragon Clan, Arthur would be an abandoned baby, taken in by an obscure knight named Sir Ector. Calling Arthur by the name Wart, Arthur would be raised to serve Ector’s son Kay, who also wished to be a knight. Arthur would have dreams of becoming a knight and going on adventures, but he recognized them as dreams. Instead he focused on helping out around at Sir Ector’s castle.

That would be his life until his twelfth year, where he discovered the cabin of the Wizard Merlin. The strange old man would immediately begin tutoring Arthur, moving into the castle to be closer to him. Arthur would learn many new things, such as reasoning and wit during his lessons with Merlin, often involving using magic to transform Arthur into an animal as part of the lesson.

During these lessons, Arthur would almost be killed by a Witch named Madame Mim, only to be rescued by Merlin. After this Arthur’s studies would continue, that was until winter when he was named squire to the newly knighted Sir Kay. Merlin would get mad at Arthur for picking a mundane path and leave. Arthur and Kay would then head to London, where there was to be a tournament among the knights to see who becomes king.

Once in London, Arthur realizes that he forgot Kay’s sword at home, and rushes to find a replacement sword. Outside a church, Arthur finds a sword lodged in a stone. Arthur manages to pull it out, only for a knight to notice that the lad had lifted the fabled sword in the stone. Before Arthur knew what was happening, he was dubbed King of England.

Moved into the royal palace, the boy king would be overwhelmed. However Merlin would return and offer to counsel Arthur so that he one day might become a great king. Arthur was just a few months into his reign when the Blight appeared.

Thoughts on The Blight: Arthur is unsure of what to make of the Blight. He wonders if it’s a part of the natural world that Merlin had spoken of. But another part of him sees it as a monster that needs slaying.

X-Men-Storm-Animated-Series.png

Name: Ororo Munroe, "Storm"
Age: 30-something
Movie or Series: X-Men

Personality:
Disciplined and responsible, Storm focuses on being a teacher and leader. She strongly emphasizes teamwork, self-control, and honesty. She has claustrophobia from a traumatic incident in her youth. She is especially forgiving and averse to killing, preferring to merely subdue her enemy. She often mentors mutants whose powers center around various types of energy projection and manipulation. Storm is also in-touch with nature, loving the rain and the outdoors. The one thing Storm tolerates least is intrusion—she respects people's privacy, and any act that would unnecessarily infringe on such discretion heavily disappoints and offends her.

Reason for Volunteering:
Storm is considered one of Professor Xavier's finest students, with impressive control over her powers, high proficiency with martial arts, and great leadership skill. Given only one defender could come from their world, Xavier naturally chose his best.

History:
Ororo was born into a line of priestesses from Kenya. While staying in Egypt, her parents were killed in a terrorist attack that left her pinned in the rubble for a few hours. She was taken in by a thief and lived a life of crime before returning to Kenya, where the people revered her as a goddess incarnate due to her awakening powers.

Professor Charles Xavier later visited Ororo, hoping to gain her cooperation in rescuing his original team of X-Men from the sentient island Krakoa. Under the codename Storm, she soon became a mainstay of the new team, feeling it was where she belonged. Her understanding of psionic powers and energy projection made her the leader of the X-Men's Gold Team and a great mentor to younger mutants with such powers. Her peer Wolverine also trained her and the other women of the team in various martial arts, further rounding out some already impressive skill sets.

Thoughts on The Blight:
She is unsure of what the Blight is, but as someone who has fought to ensure world peace, she is determined to emerge from this epic clash victorious.
