  letitia's happiest moments in life have been those that she's been able to share with the people around her. first impressions? she's incredibly well - mannered and hospitable. the woman has a strong sense of duty and forms close bonds with those who have values that more closely align with her own. two words to describe her are generous and reliable. if there needs to be glue to hold a community together, she takes it upon herself to be that glue. she's an altruist down to her very core, and she has a moral compass that's clear and unshakable. she believes in doing the right thing and serving others.
  
  to letitia, there's always a certified right and wrong thing to do in every imaginable situation, no matter the circumstances. it's difficult for her to see things in shades of black and white, leading to moments where she struggles to accept it when those she cares about take actions that she doesn't understand. letitia is incredibly opinionated and leans more towards the traditional side. she believes that established laws and social norms are meant to help her navigate her day - to - day life.

  letitia builes was born on september 26, 1981 in memphis, tennessee. she was the only child of michael and pamela builes. letitia doesn't remember much of her early childhood, but remembers her mother leaving the house one day after an argument with her father and never returning home. her life would be relatively peaceful, quiet, and normal. by all intents and purposes, she was your average girl. she was a high school prodigy, excelling academically, and would go into college after graduating to become a nurse. this would change early on for letitia as everything began to fall into place.
  
  when letitia was twenty - six, her life began to change rapidly. she met an older man, who she ultimately would never learn the true name of, though he would serve as her introduction to the other side of the line; monsters were all around, and she was one of them. an incredibly rare specimen known as a ' tri - breed ', letitia's parents weren't human themselves. she's the child of a nephilim and a demon, though she never finds out which parent was what. the man, known to her only as dusty, stole her away from the mundane functions of her everyday life in order to teach her how to protect herself, and how to hunt.
