Nickname: Iron
Age: 32
Appearance:
Personality: Iron is a very bright man who possesses vast knowledge of the law and who constantly needs mental stimulation to keep from becoming bored. He is the type that can get along with nearly everyone, but had a subtle way of never letting anyone come too close, and if he doesn't like you, you will know. Not many people know what he's thinking most of the time, as he tends to hide his true emotions from even himself in favor of his easygoing persona. Without meaning to, he can be a bit two-faced, saying one thing and doing another. He loves playing chess, is a great conversationalist, and has an absurd fascination with eggs.
Fears:
- being left alone with the inmates
- being alone, period
- somehow losing his mental capabilities
- being trapped
- routine living
Position (Captain or regular guard): Just an average guard
History: From his childhood onward, Iron had always dreamed of becoming a defense lawyer. It seemed like the perfect job for him, with its constant unpredictability and the chance to show off his intellectual skills in front of a large group of people, and so he pursued this dream eagerly, enrolling in law school after finishing undergraduate school. However, his education was cut short when he was arrested one night after a particularly strange party at his friend's apartment for causing a fatal accident while intoxicated behind the wheel. While in prison, despite a constant fear for his well being, he began to find the officers there, and even some of the other inmates, fascinating, and so, after being released early, only one year into his sentence, he decided to go back to college and pursue a career in law enforcement.
Other: He got his nickname because of the prosthetic arm that he received during his first year working at the prison after he lost his real limb to a violent inmate, and everyone seemed to think that "Iron" sounded cooler than "steel." Hardly anyone even remembers what his real name is anymore.

Danny see's himself as somewhat of a tyrant, but it's an evil that must transpire. He's fairly cocky, and has a fantastic done-it-all seen-it-all attitude. More or less because he pretty much has. He's not a captain for no reason, and makes sure the inmates understand that everyday he walks through the prison.
He walks as if he owns the damn place, and that's how it should be. For a place cluttered with filth and disgust, one must establish dominance anyway he/she knows how. Even if it means hazing every now and then, it must be done. He's got a pretty riddled past in the art of violence, and uses this job as an outlet before his eventual retirement.
He's not all bad however, and if he were to meet an inmate that showed respect; he would probably extend his hand of brilliance. Of course, for him to truly trust a person, they would have to help him out as well. It's of no conscious though, since he very well repays such acts of kindness greatly.
•Fears•
- He has an acute fear of spiders, and tends to overreact in their destruction.

Danny Reaver was born in SanFrancisco California, taking in the great amount of pop culture and artsy revolutions at a young age. It was because of this however, he started in visioning the idea of modern day pirates. This idea appeased him greatly, him studying marine biology; and any form of underwater study, along with small courses that had to do with boats of all kinds. Since he was born into a rather rich and luxurious family; they frowned on him going to officers school, later joining the US Navy. It wasn't long before he started commanding ships, something he executed rather brilliantly.
He did nothing but create contacts, and save money in his 25 years of service. He was also involved in multiple small naval conflicts around the world, but none of them were wide-spread; except for the Golf War. When it was time for him to retire, he left
with a large clientele, and a fairly large sum of cash. Since he was in, his family had notionally passed away as well; granting him a heavy inheritance. He put all of it into his first pirate ship, him using his clientele from the Navy as his pirate crew.
The ship saw plenty of action, moving from dock to dock, raiding small settlements for drugs and other forms of initial payment. Of course, none of these raids took place in the US; that being their central hub of recruitment. This long and ever so sprawling business lasted for about four years, them finally building themselves up as their own Private Security Company known as: The Renegade Crew.
The Renegade Crew was literally a high-dollar pirate crew disguised as private security; allowing them to have their own offices in Hawaii. This grand establishment made Danny a bucket ton of revenue, and even inspired people to join from all over the world.
Since then, Danny was involved with multiple instances of crazy doings; some being large scale bank robbery's. However, he was never caught; and saw to it that his company would be able to flourish, even with him gone. Once he turned 57, he handed the title of Captain to his first mate; Sandy Dillinger. She now leads the company with an iron fist, and constantly feeds Danny money whenever they make a big score.
Danny since then became a prison captain. Not simply because he was bored, but so he could help any potential members of his company if they were to become incarcerated. The whole plan is genius, and it motivates the company members to try their best, and to never fear the consequences. Danny's term is almost up, Sandy will eventually be taking his spot in this position as well. But for now? It's a waiting game, and these scum need to be kept in line.

I absolutely love Lolotte, and how well thought out this is! There's no rush, take all the time you need to fix it up. But for now, ACCEPTED!LilMsGhoulishDelight said:
Name: Lolotte Lilith Antonietta
Nickname: Other inmates call her Lo', her brothers called her Lolly, and throughout the world some detective slapped her with the moniker of Lolita after realizing the coincidence in her name and demoting her as her partner's childish pawn from the way she dressed.
Age:
29.
Appearance:
110 pounds and 5'2". Lo was accustomed to dressing in nu goth styles and it used to be once in a blue moon when you'd see her without a brightly colored wig. Prison has regulations so she's back to bland.
Personality:
Lolotte is very competitive, clever, witty, and loves hanging out with winners, but enjoys even more the company of people who have both earned her trust and manage keep her on her toes. She can be mirthfully brash and sarcastic to people she likes, not really one to beat around the bush unless she's particularly crafty or wants to get her way with something. She only feels wickedly playful with those she knows very well, keeping a content, laid-back, and only somewhat ego-maniacal persona for most people. Oftentimes, Lolotte has an air of craftiness when dealing with people. Along that vein, she is intelligent, able to learn information quickly by paying very close attention and hardly anything else.
Lo has a fiery and imaginative flair to go with her fiery and imaginative way of thinking, able to rock wearing a potato sack due to her undoubting confidence, and has hardly any care with strangers. With strangers, though she shows little consideration, she can be a bit untrusting if a stranger is said to be particularly unsavory. She'll still have her swagger, but it has an undertone of wariness. Due to her upbringing, she's has adopted an inflated self-esteem that will appear subtly to even new-comers. Despite her high opinion on herself, Lolotte is infallibly, nearly unquestioningly loyal to those she trusts. With these select few, she is a bit of a control-freak and a needy game-player. Luckily for her, those traits are paired quite usefully with her quick-thinking.
Lo is full of passion, putting her all into the things that she adores - such as morbidity, music and literature - and she does so unabashedly, startlingly bold with everyone she meets. Lolotte is a woman eager for adventure, her curiosity, her teasing, quick-witted, and bold nature making it all too easy for her to dive into adventure. Lolotte has mastered a delicate balance of being charmingly at ease and not far behind on varying situations, only getting worked up by things she truly really cares about. This is all while she exerts her control-freak tendencies subtly over time that only those who know her well pick up on it. However, she is learning how to back out of a fight no matter how protective she is of her pride and people. Key word: learning. Despite this, Lo has learned very quickly to shut up around certain individuals, and pelt others with her endless questions. Curiosity has always been her forte, and her patience with learning helps. Listening before acting, Lolotte is able to give good advice once she gets adequate details of the predicament. Lolly has learned how to start and stop arguments with equal swiftness, and uses her silver tongue to her advantage; she can cut someone down a peg only to build them back up again. She usually has a very go-with-the-flow, easily adaptive way of going about, very relaxed in posture and light on her feet. Her nonchalance, mixed with her teasing and bold smart mouth, makes it so that she borders on annoying. She struts subconsciously, leaning back with confidence and fiddling with her clothes when around people who interest her. If she is really captivated by a person, she leans forward to hear them clearly, often with her hands on her hips or shoved in her pockets. When out and about in foreign places, she usually takes on a "don't mess with me" walk, putting one foot over the other as if they each weighed a ton, and holding her chin high.
Lolotte is the kind of person who would cheerfully blabber on about morbid curiosities; such wish-wash feelings on death was just how she was raised, and she taught herself to be analytical about the little details of those ill-fated accidents. Lolly adores those morbid details about death and its just as dark subject matters: illness, crime, the occult, mental disorders, etc. She has an endless fascination with cadavers and crime, writing many a poem on such subjects of terror and becoming an expert on occult knowledge. She can relate with these dark things in the sense that in order to get exactly what you want, a few things have to be sacrificed.
Fears:
"If you've done something stupid, you're the one who should be scared."
Being stuck in an uneventful, unrewarding, stupid position.
She gets scared by people shouting and sudden bursts of violence. They trigger her PTSD, which has become less absent now that she's in prison.
Lo is frightened of being trapped, ignored, helpless, and unable to stop crying. It reminds her of her childhood.
She fears huge animals and thunderstorms.
Crime for which they were convicted:
"I was walking on egg shells, and I got answers."
She was an information gatherer, forger, and eraser for multiple sources.
History:
Lo's Mexican father was heavily involved with the city's drug cartel and her Italian mother was an attorney born into a very wealthy family, so they were more than well-off. The children were Domenico, Lolotte, Santiago, Vangelo-Vera, twins Mauricio and Mateo, and Emiliano from oldest to youngest. All were born in Buenos Aires.
However, the family was definitely far from happy. The father, Jerome, was far from subtle at hiding his affairs and the mother, a woman perpetually unaware of her inner and outer beauty, ruined herself by drinking to forget her husband's infidelity. Both parents became too engrossed in their own pile of misery that they deluded themselves into thinking that showering their children with the latest trending gifts would repay the love they neglected to give. Her mother, Camilla, was a bit more careless than her father, taking the children to whatever place they wished and leaving them at places, but neither parent ever listened very well to the children's worry for their parents. Instead, they developed an ill habit of abusing their children. Both parents never warmed up to having children, and they had enough trouble keeping themselves intact to listen to their kids' whining.
Children were to be seen, not heard. The children were locked in rooms and forced to keep the youngest ones quiet when guests came over. When a few of the children attempted to reported the father's infidelity to their mother, the older were beaten by father and the younger locked away by mother. Constantly at least two of them were forgotten at places whenever they went out, and took many taunts and hits by the pair for "straggling behind". In an attempt to get their mother out of her haze, the children destroyed bottles of liquor when they were alone in the house. That provoked both parents' ire and none of them ate for a week. They never did it again. Their parents would gripe about how each of the children were unwanted, dead weight, and stopped them from achieving their fullest potential. They were full-on narcissists and manipulators. To get away from that noise, the children played outside to avoid their parents altogether. At a young age, the eldest children started parkour, and it stuck for them since. They used it on their run-away.
Speaking of which, when the abuse became too much, the more assertive of the children - twelve year old Domenico, eleven year old Lolotte, and ten year old Santiago - ran away. They lived on the streets for two years, taking care of each other and evading the adoption system for as long as they could. When they did eventually get caught, it was hard to find a home for them three because of their ages and the fact that they didn't want to be broken apart.
When Domenico was about to turn fifteen, they were adopted by a passing couple, a theatre director and a therapist. The three were taken to their new home in New Jersey, and given a better life. They were less well off than before, but in a much better environment. They were always taught to question for clarity, and their adoptive parents tried their best to cater to the damaged children's psyche's, but could never fully heal their souls. The three remained reliant on each other and distrustful of others for years. They showed signs of PTSD, anxiety disorders, and a raw independence from living neglected for so long, the two eldest especially. Domenico and Lolotte refused to get too deep on the traumas they suffered at their biologic parents' hands, or what little they knew of the business their parents were in, yet the two gorged themselves on the information they collected. Occasionally, if given enough attention, Lo would crack in a waterfall of emotion, which the parents never did attempt to discourage, so that became her main negative emotion outlet. Domenico, on the other hand, was as steady as a stone for months on end. It was only when his relationship with the parents became more comfortable did he blow his fuse at the dinner table, expressing a volatile temper. Santiago tagged along for the ride, but was much more compliant in answering their adoptive parents' questions. They all were watched heavily by their therapist of an adoptive mother, but she never was too good in helping her children deal with their problems - so the abuse symptoms never really were handled correctly aside from frequent showering of love and acceptance.
During their time with their adoptive parents, the children took on different fields of interest. Domenico found a love of accounting, learning how to handle the bills and expenses of both parents professions at a young age while occasionally studying traumatic events. He had a long standing interest in detective work, and that bonded the siblings together. Lolotte took on a mesh of artistic and supernatural interest. She loves photography and writing best, exploring desolate buildings for inspiration on things that could go bump in the night. Her love of exploration, imagination, and insatiable curiosity led her to help her brother with his detective work. Santiago was more subdued in his ventures, pursuing athleticism and promoting the healthy lifestyle the family upheld. He found desserts to be a welcoming challenge, and strove to find an even ground between healthy and sweet. He'd make energizing lunches for his siblings, finding food to be an interesting type of science experiment, and was Lo's exploration sidekick. Santiago was the one to bestow the nickname Lolly to his sister upon noticing her affinity for candy, and it stuck ever since.
The siblings were homeschooled for a duration of their remaining childhood until each of them turned 14. They were sent to a boarding school in Barcelona, Spain, when the theatre director's career took off. Being quite charming and charismatic, Lolly easily made friends with others, but preferred the company of people who could teach her a great deal. As such, she focused on her grades and fostering her creative spirit. She was a teacher's pet, was in all artistic clubs, and ran track. In other words, she showed great initiative and potential, which bolstered her ego.
The teens practiced parkour. For the boys it was only a bit of fun, but for Lolly it was the first step in getting back into her street rat ways. She hadn't meant to get back into the swing of things at first. Her ego was stroked enough already now that she was juggling all sorts of clubs and had sparkling grades. Still, she adored wats to safe her curiosity and provide challenges for herself. From parkour, she re-added lock-picking, then practiced pick-pocketing. Her curiosity was assuaged with this knowledge temporarily, and she swore to use the skills on other people only in emergencies.
The siblings eventually separated during college. Domenico went into the detective agency in Gotham, Santiago was deep in the culinary arts and moved to France for college opportunities. Lolly had her fair pick of colleges, albeit was pressured by her father to go into the theatre route, and decided to go to New York City for college. She decided on honing her evidence-handling skills with a couple of quick courses on forensic analyzing. Since she learned quickly, Lolly polished that off rapidly before deciding to focus on her artistic pursuits, namely creative writing, poetry, theatre, and music. Her muse was complex, fit for horror and fantasy, and it took a while for her to lean away from that. Instead, she focused on more softer pieces, creating philosophical twists and turns to get out into a new comfort zone. That was when she first approached the topic of brain teasers and riddles; it was different from the hobbies her mother gave her to relax - sudoku, origami, puzzle boxes - and yet didn't stray too far. Plus, wordplay was a favorite of hers. It became a casual challenge, and she enjoyed a challenge.
Speaking of challenges, with the stress of college and a hole burning away at her wallet, Lolotte began neglecting the healthy eating she had been raised with. During college, Lo stopped eating altogether, and what she did eat was sloppily prepared. It was when Santiago moved in with her to open his candy business in NYC that her eating habits went back on track. He was adamant she eat and exercise to get back in shape, having finished culinary school in Paris a few months prior. Within two months, the two siblings calculated calories and began exercising via parkour and track; the activities became their bonding activities.
Once Lo was out of college, Domenico rang her up to continue their research on their family. He needed someone to continue investigating since he was swamped with work, and she was the only person he knew would be dedicated to the task set for her. So, off Lo went to meet her brother; better correspondence that way. This was her first official step into what she calls the "info business."
It didn't take too long to solve that mystery; the drug cartel got to her folks eventually and the remaining siblings were scattered or dead. Still, this mini-mission was important because it led to a long-standing partnership between Lolotte, her siblings and one man. That partnership became her break from her normality, and became a doorway to a plethora of unanswered questions.
Percival Maxime DuPont was a man who adored having all the answers to all the right questions. In other words, someone Lolotte got along with swimmingly. They met at the place that harbors knowledge: a library. Lolotte was reviewing her "info business" techniques, and it caught the man's attention. He remarked on how useful such strengths could be and that she seemed to know a lot about what she was doing. Lolotte took a shine to him immediately, and they formed a friendship. It was a pleasant surprise when she ran into him in the night club she frequented, but he was there on business. After dealing with a rather shady individual, Percival had an interesting task he figured Lolotte could help him with. Covering their tracks became her new objective in exchange for the two of them uncovering answers to, well, anything and everything. Since their business required them to only rely on one another, their bond strengthened. They worked together for years, becoming an admirable sleuthing team, juggling between hiding evidence and procuring it for various crime organizations and crime-stoppers.
Despite Percival's staunch, serious businessman demeanor, he was more than just a knowledgable slot machine of a partner to Lolotte. Oh yes, he was a hobby now; a grumpy, intelligent hobby. Little did she know, so was she. While she was fascinated with his encyclopedic knowledge of nearly anything and everything and the fiery determination that tagged along, she was confusing in her own right. How could she love both the extraordinary and the mundane so fluidly? Wasn't better, well, best? She was just a curious woman, but there were things she did or said that gave her an edge he didn't quite understand, that sparked their own curiosity. When she filed, Lolotte shared strangely accurate ways to hide evidence that even he had trouble remembering; once, when she couldn't find the right key to a cabinet, she just picked the lock as if it were nothing; Lo made it a point never to owe anyone a thing; she didn't react too well to shouting and shockingly cried easier than expected. But there were things Lolly did that sewed his prying thoughts shut for days: her embraces left him feeling like a child's favorite toy, instead of the customary ice in his veins, although he still flinched and froze even after a few years; Lolotte went exploring without hesitation and introduced him to all the nooks and crannies their terrain had to offer; she helped him figure out how to better pick locks; thanks to him, her organizing skills had gotten much better; his increasingly frequent vain and insulting comments didn't phase her in the slightest; Lo teetered the line between annoying and useful; she was so stubborn and optimistic to learn, he would have been jealous had he still much to learn.
They saw something in each other - a sort of fractured kinship they didn't quite understand yet. It was alarming to them on how they spoke so languidly with each other, how quickly they became lost in thoughts, ideas, words and, eventually, actions. With one another they were able to trade wit and just talk about anything that struck their fancy, eventually forming a passionate bond neither could properly put a name to. Acquaintances was much too impersonal after all these years; just friends was too trite; they acted like siblings and best friends, but there was much more underneath the surface that made the word feel incorrect: There were glances and touches that extended far more than friendship. With all this to consider, it was even more maddening when lovers seemed about right yet simultaneously not nearly correct. By one thing was for sure: whatever they were to each other, they would always have each other's backs.
However, before they had the chance to discuss their partnership's development, they were ratted out by a past business associate and promptly arrested. Lolotte cried for days. She cried for being caught; she cried for being unable to silence the snitch; she cried for her family; she cried for her potential; she cried for her partner, who stood stoic throughout, a stark contrast to her raging emotions until one peered into his blazing eyes. But Lo was caught, so here she stays, plotting her escape and looking for anyone that would help her. She hasn't seen Percival since the arrest and is looking to reduce her sentence without ratting him out.
Other:
Lo is scary good at keeping secrets, and is very understanding, her big eyes and small appearance lending a softer quality in opposition to her sly thoughts.
Lo is only a cat person; put her with any other animal and it is bound to get messy.
Despite her bossiness, Lo isn't very intimidating to strangers, especially when she gets teary out of frustration. Her curiosity and witty teasing tend to land her into difficult situations. Despite being a non-confrontational person unless her pride is at stake, Lolotte is way better at verbal fights than she is at actual fights, but ends up starting up the latter more often with her touchy-feely body language. She can escape from a fight easily, though.
Lo has a weakness when it comes to gathering interesting, dark information. As such, she has a deep knowledge of the occult and supernatural.
She's a cat lady, especially when it comes to exotic shorthair, owning three of them prior to her arrest.
Lolly adores getting praise from people she deems knowledgeable and can't help but participate in philosophical or literary discussions. She won't shut up with her questions in the presence of these individuals unless explicitly told to do so.
She's also a bit of a hugger, especially to people she adores, whether they like it or not. Those people tend to be rather cold or fake, for those are the type that have the most interesting secrets.
Lo has difficulty saying no to sweets, hence her nickname, for they are close to a costly weakness if she weren't so clever.
She works in her own best interest, a total opportunist, which can prove to be a problem.
Lolotte employs the word "hella" a lot and loves fruit.
I'm on mobile right now, but I'll fix it when I get home.
