Ace of Spades
Thomas pulled his car out in front of O'Malley's, stopping by the entrance. He climbed out, knowing no-one was insane enough to touch a Cutter's car in New York, at least not this close to Brooklyn.
In spite of how early it was, he pulled his flask from his jacket, taking a drink from it, then wiping his mouth and returning it to its place.
Once inside the pub, Murphy approached the two already there. He removed his coat and cap before sitting down and lighting a match for the cigarette he had held in his mouth. It would probably be the thing to kill him, but It was one of the few things that kept him sane so he wasn't too keen on letting it go just yet.
"So, when is that dinner?", he asked, "As founder of Murphy Company Limited, I should probably know the times of events I go to, especially those regarding charity." The way Thomas spoke, mostly when discussing business, was far different from the way he spoke normally. However, he did not trust these people, and for good reason, so he didn't yet have a reason to relax around them.
