Power
Jake can manipulate stone, metal and crystals to forms shapes, Armour, weapons and other basic constructs.
History
During the Golden age Jake was part of a small team called the Elemental's. Four powered individuals with abilities to manipulate the for main elements. Earth was Jake's power and he went under the name of Golem due to the large stone and crystal exoskeleton he formed over his body while fighting. The other members were Jane Foster (Flame), Jacob Matoa (Wave) and Tori Singer (Typhoon). The group came from all over the world and was more like a family than a team. Until Jacob Matoa was captured by a villain known as Valkyrie, a powered hero hunter. The team found him three weeks later. She had drowned him. A few months later the team disbanded. They couldn't handle being together. Jane went into seclusion the death hit her the hardest. Tori and Jake stayed together to try and hunt down Valkyrie. But Tori's became to dark as the blood lust consumed her and Jake went it alone. He hasn't spoken to either of them since nor has he found any trace of the Valkyrie. He has recently moved to a town in new mexico after hearing rumors of a powered settlement.

Personality
Jake has issues with teams ever since the dissolution of his own. He doesn't like being a loner but he just doesn't want to see the same thing happen to a knew group of people. He doesn't know why he has sort out this settlement. Perhaps hes just tired of being alone. Jake is slightly paranoid due to his appearance and its likelihood to attract attention. He rarely stays in the same place an always pays with his dwindling cash supply.

Citizen Identity

Jonas Wendel

(Painting or realistic. It doesn't matter for me.)
Age
40
Former Superhero/Super-Villain Identity
Turmgeist (German for "Tower Ghost")
Physical Characteristics
(Basically, how heavy, tall is your character. What does his or her face look like. Skin and hair colour, etc.)
Skills
(What skills does your superhero have that isn't derived from their own power?)
Power
Turmgeist was a very unusual striker/brute/breaker/mover/stranger, who could be potentially immensely strong, but with a lot of collateral damage. The first stage of his power consists of turning into a long, spindly-limbed, glowing white form. During this stage, he is essentially incorporeal, though he won't fall involuntarily through the floor. The second stage is collecting body parts. These used to literally vary from something the size of a given normal body part to an articulated lorry- there was an upper limit but he never did find it. He collected these parts by simply inserting a limb into them, and then they became part of him, able to be crunched to flex like a joint. They would each gain strength proportional to their mass, and he would have enough strength in his body to move them as well. He usually required one object per limb plus a head and a chest, though he could easily just have used one at a time. He's Manton limited to no living matter, but any dead material is free game. The way to damage him in this state was to tear off the parts that make him up, after which he'd be forced out of the objects safely, but would be vulnerable and have a cooldown of several hours.
Nowadays, he is barely able to scrape up a stranger 2/mover 2/breaker 2 rating. He hasn't been able to take over even a desk lamp for years, and can barely hold his breaker form together for more than maybe a few minutes at one time.

History
Jonas was a German immigrant, now citizen of the USA. He was born and raised in east Berlin while the wall still stood, constantly living repressed and in poverty. As a young boy, however, his power was as strong as it had ever been, and, coupled with the strength of his hatred towards the wall and what it stood for, was able to use four train carriages and two cars as his body, smashing through the wall without having to care about the bullets being shot at his enormous form, only slowed by the mines that gradually wore away his legs. Many east Berliners escaped from the wall's evening shadow that day. Jonas went with many of them, seen as their hero even as a kid, and his group, including his family, were mostly able to make it to America, a place they saw as offering liberty and a fresh start.
Jonas was welcomed with open arms into various hero teams throughout his life, and he loved everything about his work. He was one of the quirks that would be called against some of the greater physical threats - kaiju, natural disasters, powerfully destructive quirks and other similar events.
Injuries eventually piled up over time. He was vulnerable when forced outside of his breaker state; nowadays he walks with a slight limp, and his right arm is entirely artificial - the one thing his power has been able to hold onto.
His career eventually ended due to these injuries slowing him down and his own power fading away. He was able to live off his savings, having been brought up to be frugal and save what he didn't need - not to mention, the life he led had paid well.
