Fandom Dawnclan: Life to Death

Dawnclan territory is situated on a cliff covered in lush forest. A thin river runs through the center of the territory. New apprentices are just about to began their training and journey through the clan. The leader, Thistlestar, gathers the clan under Tall Oak to name them.

Crowpaw

Crowpaw was nestled close by his mother with his black pelt puffed up silently. He had a lot on his mind lately since his father left out of anger. Crowpaw slowly opened his ember-orange eyes and glanced at his mother; who was a white she-cat by the name of Snowheart. She had recently told him of why his father left and he couldn’t forget about it. Not at all.

Crowpaw slowly stood to his paws and outstretched his body with his rear up in the air. He yawns and looks at his mother who says the leader is forming a meeting for the clan. He grumbled something to himself and waddles next to his mother as they sat down to listen.​

Lunarkit
Lunarkit scampered up next to his father who was sitting under Tall Oak watching Thistlestar take his place in one of its branches. His sister was already there, neatly groomed, with her tail wrapped around her. This made him notice how unruly his pelt was, most of his fur was sticking out randomly and covered in dirt. The thought was quickly driven from his mind when Thistlestar spoke. "Lunarkit," Lunarkit stepped forward. He could feel his father's gaze burn his pelt. "Lunarkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lunarpaw. Your mentor will be Birchcloud. I hope Birchcloud will pass down all she knows on to you." A brown tabby she-cat stepped forward beside Lunarpaw.
"Birchcloud, you are ready to take your second apprentice. You have received excellent training from Rustytail, and you have shown yourself to be loyal and fierce. You will be the mentor of Lunarpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him." Lunarpaw touched noses with his new mentor, then took his spot back beside his father.

Eclipsekit
Eclipsekit watched her brother's apprentice ceremony. Soon, Thistlestar spoke again. "Eclipsekit," Eclipsekit stepped forward. "Eclipsekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Eclipsepaw Your mentor will be Moonglow. I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you." A beautiful sliver tabby she-cat stepped forward next to Eclipsepaw. "Moonglow, you are ready to take on your first apprentice. You have received excellent training from Ripplethorn, and you have shown yourself to be strong and courageous. You will be the mentor of Eclipsepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." Eclipsepaw touched noses with her mentor and took her spot back with her father, who have her a nod of approval.

Emeraldpaw ~ Medicine Cat Apprentice ~ 7 moons ~ Molly

Twin emerald orbs opened as Emeraldpaw awoke slowly, stretching her front legs out as her jaws opened in a large yawn. Her tawny spotted coat caught the sun slightly as she exited the medicine cat den and sat down, preferring to keep her distance from the larger gathering of the clan, her one partially blind eye turned, so it wasn't facing the group. Her tail tip flicked as the savannah cat apprentice watched the clan meeting, her eyes sparkling with happiness at the two kits becoming apprentices. Emeraldpaw couldn't help but wonder if her mentor was awake, or if her fellow medicine cat apprentice was attending the meeting either. Maybe she could offer to go gather herbs, she had noticed the stash of marigolds was a bit low and hoped she could take along with a patrol to get some more.
