    For as long as Yasashi could remember, he always dreamed of becoming a professional hero. It was quite the ideal goal to strive for. Unfortunately, those around him thought differently. Weird, right? Why would people think that way? Well, his mother being an incarcerated criminal could probably explain that. You know what they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. It wasn’t fair and Yasashi didn’t deserve it, but hey, that’s reality and these sorts of things just happen.

    Anyway, even at the orphanage he was sent to, instead of being around other children and those who were meant to care for them, negativity continued to flood Yasashi’s life and given his abilities, he knew and felt every bit of it all too well. Being alienated and rejected by society at such a young age never lead to anything good. Instead of helping Yasashi veer from a life similar that of his mother, those around him did the opposite and practically pushed him towards it. Though passionate about his dream, it was difficult to not waver given how everyone thought of him; he was just a child and had his limits. Yasashi cried a lot, he was bullied, and was frustrated with his life, and eventually, he started giving up on his dreams. Yasashi started to accept that things would not get better unless he did something about it.

    As time passed, Yasashi eventually learned how to handle the constant pessimism directed towards him, and at one point, he began to find it amusing. He learned how to control his own emotions, then how to shrug off negativity came next. Dealing with those around him soon became less taxing and Yasashi’s outlook on life had begun to improve. He was confident enough to run away from the orphanage and took to the streets. There, he learned the harsh realities of the dog-eat-dog world he found himself in.

    Akane's parents are the co-owners and executive chefs of Koge, a well-known restaurant in Roppongi that specializes in Japanese cuisine. Their claim to fame is the dining experience that they provide. Their skilled use of their quirks and the synergy between the two, along with their bright and welcoming personalities, were the reasons behind their extraordinary level of showmanship and extravagant performances in food preparation.

    With her quirk turning out as it did, Akane was meant to join them and eventually carry on the legacy that they had established. Unfortunately, being overexposed to such an environment had been counterproductive to the wishes of her parents. At the young age of nine, it was apparent that Akane grew jaded of the culinary world; whenever topics related to it were brought up, the boredom and disinterest in her eyes were hard to miss. As much as Akane's parents wanted to address this, they were too preoccupied with work. Although she didn't take this against them as they were simply doing what they loved, Akane couldn't help but feel envious. She wanted something to be passionate about, but sadly she had nothing.

    As for Akane's reasons for pursuing a career in heroics, this dates back several years ago. While being driven home from school, the vehicle Akane was in - along with others beside them, were caught in an accident caused by a rampaging criminal. She couldn't recall all the details as it all happened so fast, but she remembered finding herself hanging upside down with only the straps around her waist and across her chest keeping her from falling. She was lightheaded and a bit dizzy as blood was trickling down from her face. Turning her head towards the window, Akane had a good view of the individual responsible for the situation she was in as it was still flailing its arms, screaming at the top of its lungs as it was being suppressed by several heroes. Instead of feeling awestruck, or something of the like, for what she was witnessing, Akane couldn't help but focus on her disdain and anger for the criminal. However, before ill emotions could become deep seeded, it was immediately plucked out by feelings of respect and admiration. But for who exactly? Well, as the fight had continued to go on, a few more heroes had appeared and turned to the civilians. The concern from the calming words and outreached hand being offered to her were genuine and made her feel safe. As Akane's consciousness gradually faded, she smiled. Finally, she knew what type of person she had wanted to become.

Backstory​


Yori comes from the Ohashi family, a family which has had heroes rise throughout history on occasion from its lineage. The family also owns an adaptive Dojo available to train people. As a result of this background Yori has been trained from a young age in offensive and defensive martial combat styles, to keep in line with the family tradition. Yori’s childhood was a fortunate one in that she has a family who cares about her and her success. As a result of this she did her best to improve herself on all fronts. In school, while not being the most popular she was far from unpopular, and found herself with friends, however after the death of her oldest brother for a period of time she started to self isolate, and loathe, until after a near death experience which she was saved by a hero that she refound a purpose in her life and the desire to move forwards to live and perform to the best of her ability in her brother’s memory. Yori aspires to become a professional hero to a similar pedigree of her oldest brother, as well as find the villain who killed him and bring them to justice. She has high ambition for the future. Besides wanting to continue the family’s tradition of hero operations, she has a strong sense of justice and being proactive in achieving it. She is also highly competitive as a result, and strives for the best results. She tends to value those she deems as strong and effective, as well as those who share a similar value system to her own. Sometimes she can be stubborn in her ways, and sometimes has a hard time working effectively with those she perceives as cowards or who have values which from her perspective contradict her own.

Quirk Description Any Non organic subject that makes contact with its geometric neon collage is inflicted with different effects depending on TMK’s intent on how it affects the subject. Larger things such as walls or floors are only affected over a 2 - 8.5 Meter radius To change the effects, TMK would need to mentally state in detail what effect they want CE to inflict (in posts), whether it be extracting data from devices, or increasing a knife’s edge. In its neutral state, Code Essence appears to leave glowy splotches where its touched. It has no effect whatsoever, but it’s a nightmare to clean. Quirk Name: Neko/ mutant. Quirk Description: Akihiko has the characteristics of a cat due to his mutation. First off are the senses, his eyes are easily adjustable to both daytime and night-time with enhanced vision better than the human 20/20 to see far ahead. He does have the slit pupils to determine how much light enters the eye (this is what assist with his nighttime vision) and to judge distance between him and an object. While his ears can pick up sounds four to five times further than a common person and pinpoint its location. The higher the frequency the easier and further he can pick it up. His cat ears do have flexibility, able pick up different locations of sound without having to move from all sides almost like a surround sound system. is smell was also heightened, average cat sense of smell is 14 times better than an average human and able to trace a smell -but this depends on weather and area of activity on how far he can track the scent. due to his mutation Akihiko Is unable to taste anything sweet this taste actually has worsened to where only sour,salty, and bitter things have more flavor but even this has been dulled. This was due to the development of a vomeronasal organ at the roof of his mouth that picks up chemical pheromones in the room and on a person. Able to smell fear, anger, sadness, and desire. Very faint and white whiskers are attached to his cheekbones (see picture for reference), they are very sensitive but do not offer much purpose to him. Only other quirk is the extra vocal cord where his hissing and purring sounds emit (he tries not to purr as much as possible and if he DOS he denies it). For changes to his body it is obvious he has a tail that falls down to his ankles in length, he finds this offers balance that he didn't use to have when walking on thin plateforms. Lengthen canine teeth. At the tip of each finger and toe is a roughen pad of skin almost like calluses to resemble a paw pad (toe beans!) To help with traction and grip as well as scent glands. Long thick nails to resemble a cats claw an be found on each finger and toe, he keeps them sharp. After his mutation his legs and arms did stretch, giving him a limber look that helps him with reaching, climbing, and jumping. He has a shaggy head of hair that became fuller after the incident and changed in color but his head of hair also extends down the back of his neck a making his hair look long unless someone lifts up the strands to see it attached to the skin. He has white tuffs of hair surrounding the base of his nail and on his elbows that he keeps covered. The remaining body change is the addition to his spine, to assist with flexibility similar to a cats- flexible and elastic cushioning covers each disk on the vertebrae. Quirks Drawbacks: The drawbacks of his heightened senses is as followed. 1) His heightened eyesight can be easily blinded by sudden flashes of light that can actually hurt and cause headaches. He cannot see in a completely dark room, he needs some type of light source even small to bounce off objects. 2) His hearing can be compromise by close and very loud sounds, causing him to flatten his ears and muffle sound. Also blow sounds are harder for him to pick up at a similar distance compared to high pitch sounds. 3) His sense of smell is heightened that he has to be very careful not to pick up anything too strong otherwise this can irritate his nose and throat, usually walks around with his mouth open slightly to breathe unless he HAS to use only his nose. Without his tail Akihiko struggles with balance as its almost like a missing limb so to have it restricted would harm him. 4) His major drawback is the instincts that came with being a cat. He is more active during the night with a large bout of energy, during the day he is more tired and prone to naps to keep his energy going. He does like to nap in the sun if possible. He has to scent people first before getting too close and is wary of strangers especially after what happened with the commission. At random times he finds the need to scent areas that belong to him and people (but so far this has not happened). He can be distracted by sounds or things that are shiny like any other cat

Backstory: Akihiko life began as a simple one, his mother had the cat quirk trait on his side of the family while his father had stringer senses. Akihiko was born at first with the belief he had his fathers quirk and canine teeth from his mother side. It may not have been much but he wanted to become a hero to support his family who worked low end jobs due to the little demand of jobs needing their quirk. He wanted to enter the hero course, but his family and school thought better for him to be in support since compared to other students in his class there wasn't much fighting he could offer on the battlefield. Then enters the commission, Akihiko was easy prey due to his desire to be a hero and the low use of his quirk for their plans. It was easily to convince the young boy with aspiring dreams that they can make them all come true and he could be a hero! His parents were not happy with the paperwork they had to sign that basically took all their rights away from their young boy. But if anyone could help him train his quirk it had to be the commission who worked with hundreds of heroes and promoted them. At first, Akihiko went under training to build stamina and to judge his physical capabilities. During this time the commission was routing around his families quicker to see what could be of use to them in possibilities. Akihiko was as happy and unknowning until he started on tests that caused unknown fluid to be entered into his system. It was a trail run for this department if the commission that would leave him feeling sick, dizzy, and almost passing out most days. After multiple tests and trial runs over the years he was strapped to a table and the completed form of a quirk enhancement drug was made and used. The commission wanted to see what this drug that used to be sold on the streets could do for their hero's. And that is when Akihiko felt the most pain in his life, it was an instantaneous change to his body and quirk. One that was designed to last forever instead of just a few hours. The commission were hoping he would gain more of his fathers traits but they never prepared that he actually had his mothers and took to the mutation of a cat quirk. Because of social views on mutants the commission could not have a hero with obvious mutated quirks as a hero nor could they keep him around just in case it was leaked to the public. With his current state the commission decided to throw him into an alley of an abandoned lot, not expecting him to live long without treatment after the ordeal. Erasing most of the files of his existence from their database. But Akihiko lived either by luck or by sheer willpower he woke up and crawled out of the alley while his body felt like it was on fire and his muscles melting. He fended for himself at first eating leftovers (packaged leftovers and things that looked safe to eat) that grocery stores would throw away until his body healed. Akihiko does not remember where he came from...in fact his memory is a little fuzzy on the early years of joining the commission but he remembers them..vividly of what they did to him and what they trained in him for combat and weapon use. His revenge will need to take time, he knows he can't go up against a huge corporation without help. So while waiting for the right time to strike Akihiko worked alone and found he was an amazing thief in the night, able to steal from houses, stores, even rare pieces to sell on the black market. He was also a hit man but all contact was restricted and only went after scum who bullied the system to cause harm to others but he doesn't take very many jobs such as this. Feats: N/A Equipment: He has a quick foldable sniper strapped to his back but surprising has never used it to murder so far, only to hit as a warning or take people out of the fight. Quirk Description - Chihiro has the ability to control fire and transform into a nine-tailed fox. This quirk makes her look young beautiful, too. (Sorry if it's a short description! I suck at this kind of stuff!)
Quirk Drawbacks - If she uses her fire for more than 5 minutes, she will have severe third degree burns all on her skin. If she is in her kitsune form for more than 5 minutes, she'll go berserk and start attacking her allies.
