personality: Juniper is like many of the Aeris coven. Wise, Graceful and Fair. She strives to follow in the footsteps of her priestess, Circe. Juniper is a hard working individual who wants to do her very best in pleasing everyone. Leadership comes naturally to her,and she has a way of talking to people that makes them feel calm and collected. Juniper is often in high spirits and is happy to help when she can. She is comfortable being the successor, but now that she is taking the role of high priestess, she isn't so sure of herself. June can lose sight of what's really important at times but that's due to the millions of things that go on in her head. Her stubbornness is admirable, for she knows when to stand her ground. Her temper is for the most part even, but at times she can have her moments which might surprise those who were so use to Circe's calm and even exterior. She is still learning and it is quite apparent. When Juniper is your friend she is loyal to the end. She would die for her coven if she had to.

Under the name Анастасия (Anastasiya) Клара (Klara) Dmitriev, the girl was born into a Russian Coven of blood witches, in Belarus Russia Dec. 9th 1895. During the time of her birth, the Covens had strict rules much like the ones we know today. However, one of the rules during this time was to not introduce new witches (born or initiated) into the covens, for the witch hunters were forcefully hunting the Coven, trying to take care of more than they could handle would only lead to the collapse of the Coven itself. But regardless of such rules, her mother and father welcomed her into the world with open arms. Soon after, her parents were banished for endangering their own coven. They moved deeper into the heart of Belarus where Ana would grow up. As a child, Ana's abilities were uncontrollable. She simply did not have the discipline or skill to control the incredible power within, something she struggles with even to this day. Life was as normal as it could get living in Communist Pre-Soviet Russia, the days were cold, the nights were cold. Ana would have training with her parents everyday to try and harness the power within her in their small little home on the country side, the only time Ana was allowed to use her abilities.
As Ana grew, she witnessed some of the most life changing events in human history. World War II took the entire planet by storm causing the death of over 16 million people in Russia alone. Ana was torn away from her home when they took over her home town of Belarus. Luckily her parents had been prepared to leave and they had snuck out in the middle of the night, leaving the only home Ana ever knew behind and traveling to America.
They arrived in America several months after the beginning of WWII in 1939. Having successfully made it safely away from the terrors of WWII, leaving Russia behind forever. Ana who thanks to immortality,would look 22 forever was 44 when they made it, changing their names to conceal themselves even further from hunters. She was now know as Juniper Avira Langely. America was a whole new and frightening experience for her. The first few weeks were as rough as they had been in Russia, except her family didn't have a home. Her father and mother barely made enough money to survive and were terrified of using magic, not wanting to bring trouble their way. Things didn't change much, until the hunters found them out. With bounties on their heads, they were sought out by a majority of the hunters. Blood Magic had been made forbidden after it was used against fellow witches in the fight for WWII, orders were scent out to have those who possessed it slaughter. Making even the innocents pay for crimes they didn't commit.
Her mother and father were killed senselessly for crimes they didn't commit. Before their death, it was her mother who had placed a spell on her daughter, locking her memories of her past and them away forever.. knowing the less she knew the safer she would be. (Juniper is unaware of this)
When Juniper was found, she was beaten brutally and left for dead. Crow had found her through his visions and saved her from what looked like death. The Aeris Coven was dead set on turning the Blood witch into the hunters guild, letting them take care of the "parasite." But Crow saw something in her that now one else could, and Circe trusted her sons intuitions. Deciding to give the girl a chance, Juniper was initiated into the Aeris Coven in 1940 when her full training was complete. From there, she worked her way up putting her complete heart in soul to prove to those who doubted her that she was not dangerous, that she wanted what was best for her coven. Circe responded by appointing her Successor, a position she takes very seriously. Juniper was very traditional for a long time, until she remember what it had been like to live under such strict conditions...When it was rumored that the New High Priestess of Mador was a male, Juniper became intrigued with the thought process behind why many Covens believed their could not be a male high priest. This was the beginning of her friendship/relationship with Niall. (will add more later )
