Name: Nathaniel Querty, Professor
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Asexual, probably
Skill: His specialties are water magic, theatrics, and extremely complicated runes. He often develops just because they look cool. He's extremely well-learned and studied.

Appearance: Quite tall at around 6' and rather slim. His hair is blonde, slightly curly, and often unkempt. He wears long, loose robes of silvery white with pale blue accents. He's horribly near-sighted, so wears circular silver-rimmed spectacles with one lens shaded. He was also born with anisocoria, a condition where one eye is stuck dilated, which contributes to his terrible vision and causes him to be be very sensitive to bright lights. Whenever he goes out, he wears a tall hat that matches his robes. (I'll draw a ref sometime)

Personality: Querty is generally a remarkably friendly and warm person as a natural extrovert and something of an empath, something that suits him as a teacher quite well. Especially with his younger students, Nathaniel often presents himself as pretty eccentric and whimsical, but balances that with an earnest studiousness and mature. That aspect of his personality comes out more when he's with peers or alone where he'd act surprisingly serious. Querty is extremely passionate about and devoted magic, spending most of his free time researching and practicing it. He's also quite a klutz, prone to dropping and breaking things, as well as zoning out and becoming lost in thought. He's relatively known in the magic community for his unique brand of pretty impractical but fun magic and having a reputation as a bit of a troublemaker.

Bio: At a very young age, Querty's home village was wiped out by a plague. His parents sent him to the city before he caught the illness. After being taken in by a coven, it took him a while to adjust, so he kept to himself, spending most of his time during early childhood studying magic almost obsessively, but eventually grew into his extroversion. In his early teenage years, he left his coven earlier than most would to conduct his own research. At age 17, due to a mishap during an experiment, Nathaniel accidentally flooded a large village so faced prosecution by Sigil and was exiled for a year. He only returned three years later and quickly got to work establishing his coven. By the next year, he took his first students and for the next 13 years he continued with that.

Extra: He really likes animals and breeds domestic rats as a hobby . Several stray cats and dogs come and go from the coven, which are all fed. His cooking is mediocre.

Name: Maximin Yolki
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Skill: Has sub-par wind magic as well as decent knitting and carving skills. Often tries out the different runes she develops in an enclosed area in private.

Appearance: She stands at a small 5'2, with burn marks all over her body mostly near her stomach. She is always seen adorned in a scratched up white mask with two holes in it where her eyes are, and faded brown robes with gloves and a hood that she knitted on. Her brown hair is short and brushed often, her eyes are a cold grey that are often half closed. Not much else is know about her appearance.

Personality: Maximin often excludes herself from most of the coven as she isn't the most social person. She's quiet and keeps to herself while mostly staying by herself writing runes. She isn't very open towards most people. She often comes out as intimidating to most people as her attire and her attitude drive most people away. She isn't very empathetical towards others and this makes her come of as some sort of sociopath. Her curiosity often drives her to learn more about magic almost religiously. However she is very kind to the few people she trusts often asking what is bothering them, then going out of her way to fix it. She is often very focused and precise with whatever she's doing.

Bio: Maximin spent most of her life in a nice small anti magic village, helping on her parents farm. Her parent's where fairly nice people her mother a christen mom with an affinity for knitting and her dad a former wizard. They allowed her to explore outside the farm until sunset. All of her neighbors where extremely nice to her and she gained the nickname Maxi. On October 14th her 8th birthday, she was playing a game with her friends from the village and hid in the attic of her parents home. She strange scroll of parchment in the attic and decided to keep it to see what is was about. A year later she found the piece of parchment when cleaning out her room. She decided to practice the spell in private until she was 18 when a group of bandits wielding fire magic raided her town burning it and all the resident's in the town, except for her. She barely escaped with her life having to use the small amount of wind magic she had to escape. She now searches for a coven to learn more about magic.

Noam's studied all sorts of runes, and has put that to use by going into enchantment. In addition to that, Noam has taken an interest in dimensional magic- specifically, creating pocket dimensions for himself so that they can hide from the rest of the world. While they have a good amount of variety and they've probably practiced many runes to perfection, they've never really done much playing around with the magic they've learned. In that sense, they're very much a stick-to-the-book kind of guy.[/div]

Noam looks an awful lot like some scrawny teenage kid with a mess of short, curly brown hair and rather large, tired-looking blue eyes. Their skin is rather pale, though it tans quite easily. While their sense of fashion swings between poofy dresses and suit-and-vest, they're usually too lazy to really dress up in anything more than undergarments. With boots off, Noam stands at around 5 feet and 8 inches.

[div class=Textbox]DIVING DEEPER
Noam was born in the capital to a family of relatively wealthy and powerful witches. They lived in their family's coven for a while, learning from a young age some simple things like how to draw a straight line or how to make perfect circles. When Noam was around five, their father left and their mother took them and their older sister to the country side, enrolling them in a coven which had recently started taking in students. Noam was a bright student who absolutely loved learning new things and doing them well. Earlier on in their education, they often put himself in competitions with the others- and they usually came out on top. They found themselves often praised by everyone- their peers, their mother, sometimes their sister... it kind of got to their head and they were a little bit of an asshole about it.

However, as time passed and the coven took in new people, Noam found that they weren't the best at everything. Sometimes, they couldn't do things as well. And sometimes, others were just better than them. Disgusted and afraid of the thought of failure, Noam put themselves in a little box and stuck to what they knew they could do best. When the time came for Noam to leave their home, Noam chose to stay at the coven and watch as his peers went ahead to make a name for themselves in the Outside World.

Nowadays, Noam does enchanting gigs and studies various (somewhat niche) things. They like to hide away in their little pocket dimension, where they've possible kidnapped an animal or two.

Percival Asodif, an incredibly rich and powerful witch. He was charming and funny, often showing his kids little magical pranks, until he left the family for a young and wealthy lady. He gave Noam their looks and their fear of abandonment.
Lucy Asodif, a kind yet somewhat self-centered mother who always seemed to wish for something better. Noam was never sure how to feel about her.
Annabelle Asodif, Noam's extraordinarily beautiful sister. They used to have a kind of love-hate relationship with each other, though nowadays they treat each other with reserved respect. When Annabelle reached adulthood, she went out and made a name for herself as a singer and poet. She often comes back to the Coven to learn theatrical magic from Querty. Noam envies her- she's everything Noam could've been but (in their eyes) was never good enough to be.
