However, her eye colour is not consistent and often varies, depending on the light and surroundings, between shades of brown and occasionally orange. Her body has been depicted as well-toned, with little, if any, in the way of body fat. Kaori also has a small scar on her right thigh, which she tends to cover up with her clothes. She had found out that the scar was due to the car accident that’d occurred when she young, which she hates as she sees it as a reminder of that day. However, she can be very friendly or snarky when she chooses to, but usually that depends on what mood she's in. At times she has this energy inside her that oftentimes thrusts her into the spotlight - but that isn't always where she wants to be; she would rather prefer to stay low-key. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Luckily, Kaori knows how to relax, and is perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirt on the dance floor, often with a suddenness that can surprise even her closest friends. Being in the mix also gives her a chance to connect emotionally with others as she believes everyone should take time to recognize and express their feelings. However, she needs to be quite cautious. Growing up, her father studied architecture - taking after his own father - and grew up to become a famous architect for building one of the greatest attractions there. Her mother, who took an interest in fashion, ran her own clothing store called the 'Mei Boutique'. Up until Kaori grew up to be two years old, her parents and she were involved in a car accident during the trip they took to visit some family relatives around winter. However, due to a rough storm, the car slipped and skidded down the hill into a couple trees. By the time anybody had noticed the wrecked up car, it had been six full hours and during those six hours, Kaori's father slowly passed away from internal bleeding while her mother and she luckily survived with a couple bruises and broken bones.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Her mother was traumatized by the event and became very frail and was hurt easily because of it. Everything Shiro had owned, went towards Kaori, however, being a two-year-old - she couldn't really do anything with the money, other than for her mother to keep it saved up in a bank account. Akiko had managed to take very well care of Kaori, who became over-protective of her fragile mother. That was until a robbery had taken place as a postal office. At the age of eleven Kaori had murdered somebody. Why? To protect her mother, her only parent, as she was taken as hostage, under gunpoint. The first thing that came to the eleven-year old's mind was to save her mother. Biting the robber's hand, the two fought and she'd somehow ended up with the gun in her own two hands. Unfortunately, the gun had set off in her hands when the man had fought to take it off her, resulting in an accidental death. Ever since then, she'd developed an intense fear of guns and slight fear of scary-looking men. Because of the incident that spread slowly around the city, she was bullied up into high school and the fame that her father once had died down because of it.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Her mother decided that it was the right time the two moved to a different city to start fresh where she hopes that no one will find out about her daughter's past. The relationship between Kaori and Akiko had become distant yet close. Akiko cares for her daughter's future, however, the two do not have a typical mother-daughter relationship that anybody would expect. As Kaori began to slowly grow up with her mother in Osaka, she may not have known much about her father, however, she took interesting in looking at the few building's he had managed to build and took a huge interesting in architecture because of it. She hopes one day that she could, maybe, just maybe, become an architecture - or something similar - like her father.[/SIZE]
