Le stage
This roleplay is based on the conflict between Protestants and Catholics, and a mercenary group that find themselves accidentally fighting for equality in beliefs when just getting another contract. This contract, however, binds them against a rival mercenary team, who they end up fighting. One man of the opposing Guild survives, the main mercenary family killing the rest in order to complete the contract. But they have to kill all of them, and that means that the last man that survived had to be hunted down by them.
The Religious conflict is strong, people constantly referring to various beliefs and rights to religion. The main mercenary family are Protestants, the least popular choice in Europe, where this will be based. It will start in England, but later branch out as the guild becomes quite popular and a large organisation.
Don't be afraid to be diverse, you could be a black or Muslim just to further the discrimination of the group. There is also a very teeny weeny winy amount of magic, but it's only in very subtle references to gods and various other religions.
