Bio:
Teno Wycleff is the youngest Fire royal, and the only daughter. All her life she has looked up to her elder brother Kurt, and the stronger and more protective he grew, so did Teno become gentle and of a nervous constitution. She is a deeply fearful person, but nothing scares her more than the Dark Realm. Growing up on stories of their evil ways and heinousness machinations has only grown a deep seeded mistrust and terror of the northern kingdom. She remembers very little of the fateful day that sealed the continent to war, but she’s more peaceful to ignore it. The rumors that swirl around the court are more than enough to give her nightmares.

She is a very generous and kind person. She likes to see to each member of her kingdom individually and care for them. When she can, she has been known to volunteer throughout the capital city, caring for children, the elderly and animals. Even with her kind heart, Teno can be blinded by her immaturity. She often makes rash decisions without consulting higher ranking officials. When she becomes particularly anxious she has been known to lock herself away in her room and not attend classes or events.

Teno spent most of her youth following her brother like a puppy. She loves her brother very deeply. Second only to her brother and family, is the love she has for her kingdom and her people. As the siblings grew and ultimately had to part for long periods of time, Teno began to focus on the arts. She has taken time to travel to some parts of her kingdom to study their art, music and performances. Though most of her time is spent in the capital city, she has been known to sneak away to the Fields and forests to practice in her concentrations. Despite being young, she’s one of the premier artisans in the kingdom.

Teno has very little interest in the courts or the battlefield. She would rather be among her people, performing or working alongside them. Some days, when she is alone, she dreams of a life as just a simple farmer. These day dreams have become more frequent as her wedding day draws near. Knowing she will have to move to the kingdom of the beasts weighs heavily on her. Her weak skill with creating and controlling fire has become a focus for her as a protection.

At the end of the day, her kingdom and her people’s safety come first to her. She will have to set aside her fear and anxiety and face her wedding with the conviction of a true ruler. (Unless she can figure out how to run away first.)

Bio:
Kale is a quiet and gentle boy. He has spoken even less since her elder sister Katrina passed of a mysterious illness. Since her death and the decree to bring peace to all kingdoms, Kale has started to isolate himself and practice his Storm Calling. The storms have become more unpredictable and violent and tied too deeply to his emotions. The only people who can calm his sadness and confusion are his younger sister Kai and his best friend Serenity.

He spent his youth with Katrina as they learned their duties as Royalty. The spent time out on the water practicing their Storm Calling and Tide Control. Katrina was always the most powerful and most poised. Her death has left Kale and Kai in a terrible position to live up to a role that should have already been filled. Before Katrina's death Kale spent a few years on the trading ships, traveling the world and getting stronger. He has had to give that up and take up the role of the ruler of his land. His friendships dwindled, with only Serenity sticking around, and he thus grew even closer to her.

As a prince he is very distant from his people. Most of his time is spent in the courts and war rooms, plotting and planning. When he gets time to himself, he makes trips to the Homeland with his sister to quietly appreciate the beauty and magic in his life. He has a deep worry about his younger sister being sent to the Industrial Empire. His information about the Empire has only caused deeper concern about the civil unrest and street gangs, particularly the Strays. He fears for his sister and has tried desperately to change the decree on her marriage.

Kale is smart and kind, and when the mood strikes him, he can even be very funny. However, he often gives the impression that he is cold and closed off. His greatest ally is Kurt Wycleff of the Fire Kingdom, who he deeply respects. He has kept correspondance with Kurt in the hopes they might find some kind of loophole for their sisters. Kale is hoping to find a way to stop some of these marriages from the inside, or at the very least find some way to bring spirituality and calmness to the Industrial Empire. His mistrust of the Industrial Children is not soon to vanish.

Personality: Kurt appears a calm individual with a commanding presence and even intimadating presence, standing around 6'4" even the posture of his walk is strong. But the prince is by no means unfriendly, fact is he enjoys conversing about almost anything, about everyday life, military tactics, science, politics, etc. Kurt can have a booming voice, great for being heard above the battlefield or the courts. A strong statesmen with a great deal of patience, his knowledge of the nation gives him an advantage when crafting policies or maneuvering through politics to achieve his goals. His first foremost priority is his family, mainly his young sisters and her safety. His second, but no less greater priority is his duty to his friends and people, to the point where he would sacrifice even himself. Kurt has proven himself a capable and valiant warrior, as well as a good strategist; a leader who can lead from the front or back. Kurt is great friend, especially among his brothers-at-arms, more often then not listening rather than talking, but when he does talk he talks with purpose. Though, he has problems being intimate with people. What doesn't help this dilemma is his tendency to fill his schedule to the brim with business and little time to social, many times those two things seemed to mix. Some may say he is a workaholic, something that Kurt strongly denies.
Powers:
Fire Manipulation- Ability to create and control fire.
The Rays of the Sun- Kurt can call upon the light of the sun at any given time, which takes a great of deal of energy from him, but will illuminate a rather lengthy area.
Physical Power- Trained from birth to be a warrior, Kurt is both incredibly strong and impressively fast.
Charismatic Leader- Kurt is a leader through and through, whether it be from the back lines as a strategist or at the front of the battle lines. But it isn’t just in the army he is a leader, even amongst civilians his presence is enough to inspire.
Innovative Statesmen- A young man who understands policies and the politics in running a nation, as well as maneuvering through politics to achieve betterment for his people. Though he appreciates tradition, he is the one leading the charge in innovation of science, promoting cooperation between science and magic.
Weapon:
Karag Angkar(Light Bringer)- A dwarven artifact gifted by the dwarven race who have taken up in the various mountain sides of the Fire Nation. Karag Angkar is a two handed warhammer with runes imbedded into it when it was forged, include a rune that either allows Karag Angkar to burn bright or shine bright.
Hell Splitter- A family heirloom passed down for generations, that allows the royal family to channel their fire through its blades.
Champion’s Plate Armor- Plate armor that the prince won in a competition, it has been since retooled by the dwarves with an added rune that makes it both tougher and lightweight, as well as add his own symbol, the iron cross.
Ludger’s Fury- The first ever flintlock pistol produced from the first ever foundry of the fire nation, gifted to the Kurt when he was only a young boy, he carries the flintlock pistol as a backup weapon.
Bio: Born as a prince to the Fire Kingdom, the young Kurt Wycleff was the eldest of two, the other being his younger sister Teno Wycleff. Unlike his younger sister, Kurt was trained to be a warrior and a nation’s king, the heir to the fire throne. But even at a young age, Kurt knew who he wanted to be: A soldier, and a leader of a nation. Before we talk about what Kurt has done, let me tell you a story of what pushes Kurt to be who he is.
It began when Kurt was a young boy growing out of his toddler years. His sister was still a toddler herself, but the boy was old enough to run and play. The King and Queen were on there way to a city in the countryside when they’re journey was interrupted when their carriage broke down. Now it is still unclear how, but the young Kurt managed to wander away from the commotion of fixing said carriage and into the countryside where he promptly got lost. He was picked up by a passerby, who happened to be a captain in the Fire Kingdom’s army, who was returning to visit his family. Said family did not know that this particular child was a prince, but they did know he was lost, and took him in for the time being. They treated him like one of their own, the children were slower to warm-up to him, though one boy would fast-become Kurt’s friend. Kurt stayed with the family for about a week, even though he lived like a commoner, what made up for the lack of wealth was the sense of strong community, boosted by the fall festival. The young Kurt participated in and pre-festival, a community oriented festival celebrating harvesting season, and he loved every minute of it. But perhaps inspired Kurt the most was a incident regarding a bandit raid on a local town. The family would go on to find out he was the missing prince, and the captain would go on to bring the young prince back to the capital. The captain told the little prince many stories of his military career, and also explained the importance of duty, community, and selflessness. On their way back they approached a town which was under attack by a bunch of bandits. The captain who had found Kurt had immediately took command of the local militia and led the defense that repealed the raiding bandits. The young prince saw it all, and even at one point himself was threatened, but was saved by the captain. It would seem the young prince had found himself someone to look up to, and it would inspire the young boy for years to come.
The prince was returned to his family, much more motivated to begin his studies. Kurt trained himself hard, pushing his body, and his mind, to the limited. He would pack his days with training sessions, once that was accomplished he would go on to learn as much as he can, from everything from local customs to city ordinances to the history of the Fire Kingdom itself. As the young grew, the classroom didn’t seem enough for him, so he would venture out of the safety of the castle to learn first hand of the nation he would lead one day. Kurt would often journey to many places in the fire nation to learn of it’s people and grow closer to them; and ever fall he would journey to the small town when he was lost to participate in their annual harvest festival. Kurt would always bring back a little souvenir and stories for his little sister regardless of where he went, one day he brought home a griffin, tamed in the wild, a remarkably small yet ferocious little fella that Kurt named Dawnwing, who grow to be one of the biggest griffins in the lands and a fierce companion of the prince.
As the prince grew into his teenage years his travels lessened but his presence in the royal courts increased. Kurt would take part in political debates and inquiries, most notably the introduction of a new engineering college and foundry as well as the migrations and settlement of proud dwarven race from the Dark lands, both which he was able to convince the court to agree upon, to which he was gifted two weapons: Ludger’s Fury, and Kurt’s now famed warhammer Karag Ankar, the “Light Bringer". But the life in court was not nothing that Kurt had envision himself doing, so he enrolled himself into the relatively new Fire Kingdom’s military academy, promising to write to his sister often. Though he was royalty, the officer and sergeants did not spare any quarters for the prince; and though Kurt was quite the capable fighter for his age, he had much to learn as military leader. During his time there, he learned a great deal of things, from fighting to tactics to grand strategy to formation fighting. But, he also learned camaraderie and brotherhood. Kurt would go on to graduate at the top of his class, before returning to his family.
Then the war rolled around, Kurt barely had time to spend with his family after so long in the academy when the dark children showed up, Kurt was with his sister at the time. Kurt saw this as an act aggression not just against the crown but also against the people of the nation, at least he would rationalize it like. So he took to fields, in his father’s steed, to slug it out with the enemy and lead an army into battle. At first, he was seen as a figurehead by the generals and veterans for his lack of his experience. But the prince proved many wrong, serving valiantly and gaining fame for many heroic deeds against the armies of the dark child. During his time, he reunited with old friends, as well as making new brothers-at-arms, and army itself saw the Prince as a beacon of light amongst the chaos of the battlefield.
Luckily the war did not last as long as previous conflicts, as now the conflict against the dark children came into question. Kurt himself was beginning to question his rational when he realized how much this conflict had costed, and was relieved when it came to end sooner than expected. However, in return, a political compromise was reached: He would be married off to the princess of the former enemy kingdom. It was mainly his friends that were the ones that were outraged that he was to be married to one of “them” just like that. Kurt himself, well, he wasn't really upset about it; in fact, he was the one who convinced his friends to support it. The only real problem he had was that his younger sister was being sent stright into the heartlands of a former enemy, to get married nevertheless! But regarding himself, if all it took was marriage, even with a former enemy, to protect his people, then so be it.

Position: Administrator, Advisor
Powers:
Administrator- As an administrator to the Prince, it is his job to sort out minor issues of the nation that does not warrant the direct attention of the prince, whether it is going out into the field for inspection or filling out piles of paperwork. Most people would be terrified at the amount of paperwork needed to help run a nation on a daily bases, but not Otto. Though he is by no means in love with the paperwork, Otto possess the will to tackle paperwork no matter how high they may be stacked.
Secretary- It is Karl’s job to present the Prince with tools to aid the nation, it’s also to not waste the Prince’s time with smaller issues, instead presenting the Prince with major or pressing issues while presenting options to solve this problems. It is also his job to pass on any orders or edicts from the Prince to the lower offices.
Logistics- To carry out the policies, you will need to gather the proper resources. You must consult the treasury for fund, obtain the materials, mobilize a workforce, etc. Otto is well schooled on the logistical steps needed in order to carry out a plan.
Fencer- Trained at a young age to hold a sword, though he is no expert he can certainly hold his own in some situations.
Weapon:
Flintlock Pistol- A good tool for defense.
Arming sword- Not the fanciest, but good enough to defend oneself
Spectacles- For seeing things
Bio: The best way to describe Otto is unamused. Granted he can acknowledge a good joke, but that’s the thing, he really just acknowledge a good joke. Most of the time he would just snort at it or scoff, in fact, most people have not seen Otto ever laugh or smile. But even so, that doesn't make him anti-social. His job requires him to deal with many people on a daily bases. He is rather inquisitive in the way he goes about people, always questioning them and jotting down notes for later. When things need to be done, Otto can hand out orders with not just the utmost confidence but also with a bit of a commanding presence. All of this makes most people think that Otto is a cold and rather unemotional fella, but Otto does all of this to keep things professional. Deep down he cares for the well being of many people, especially for the citizen of the Fire Nation and those who work with him, he would go a great deal to protect them.
Otto was Kurt’s childhood friend from they were schooled as kids. Kurt went on to college, but when the war rolled around, he signed up as a logistics officer, where he would meet Kurt once more. Otto supported Kurt during his time in the army, handling much of the logistics and paperwork attached to the army. When the war was over, Kurt offered Otto a job as his advisor, which Otto took up. He now helps the young prince plan his days, and handles the tedious paperwork.

Fire Mastery~ A master of summoning fire, but the true power is how he wields it. He can create massive tornados of pure fire, or let the magical blaze flow through others, allowing them to harness the burning fury of the blaze.
Swordsmen~ Siegfried can easily hold his own in a fight using his fire sword.
Weapon:
Fury’s Blaze~ A sword said to have been crafted in the heart of a volcano, though it is what they say...right? The weapon is attuned with the wielder's power, allowing it to light ablaze.
Sunflare~ A magical iron staff with a small brazier at the top that is constantly on fire. It enhances and magnifies the wielder's fire based power, not to mention a powerful weapon for the wielder.
Bio: Siegfried is known to many as a prodigy at pyromancy. He has known in the fire kingdom as a warrior wizard and an adventurer who’s said to have even journeyed far and wide, even to the Dark Kingdom's many times before the war. But these days he’s best known for as an agent to the crown, dealing with disputes and smaller inquiries overlooked by the larger government and reports to the prince. Sometimes, he marches with the army, hurling fire balls at the enemy and boosting the strength of his fellow soldiers. Siegfried also serves as one of Kurt’s advisor, teacher, and companion, teaching him not just more of his powers but also about the world in general. All in all, Siegfried is generally the last to pull the punches in Kurt’s group, but he pulls one of the hardest when he does.

Powers:
Leader of Men~ Like his father, Baldwin is a capable leader able to inspire the men he fights side-by-side, encouraging them to be more disciplined as a result.
Soldier~ The strength of men is there capability of fighting together as a unit, Baldwin is strongest when he is within a rank of soldiers.
Weapons Proficiency~ Baldwin knows how to wield just about every weapon the Fire Kingdom’s army can provide, from muskets to halberds.
Drill-Sergeant~ Overseeing drills is one of the young man’s specialty, and can turn a group of common citizens into a disciplined regiment of soldiers.
Weapon:
Sword and Shield~ A simple sword that was a passed down by his father when he retired, as well as a shield with an iron cross on it for protection.
Flintlock Pistol~ A simple flintlock pistol for ranged combat or simple last line protection.
Weapons of the Fire Army~ A variety of weapons that the Fire Kingdom provides, from greatswords to halberds, crossbows to repeater muskets.
Prince’s Standard~ A magical standard with the picture of the iron cross on it, it gives the holder a boost in strength and durability, while also giving those around a slight boost in their abilities as well.
Bio: Baldwin was the third eldest in a family of four, born in a farming town to a farming family. But the thing was, his father was a captain of the Fire Kingdom, a common born soldier yet no less valuable to the army. His father was who Baldwin aspired to be, as he was second eldest son he was suppose to be the one to enlist himself should a draft comes, so why not make a career out of it? His mother was not exactly pleased to hear about this, but his father a felt a bit of pride in that, so he worked with the young Baldwin when he had the chance, training him not just in combat but tactics. Though whenever Baldwin’s father would return to the army, Baldwin himself would count the days for his return.
Who would have known the young farm boy would ever get to know the prince of the Fire Kingdom, but it just so happened that his own father brought home said prince one day when Baldwin was waiting for him. The prince was his age and it excited him finally to have another play mate his age in town(He was the only boy his age in his town). The two became fast friends, as they worked and played through the week. When the fall festival came around, the two boys worked hard to set the festival up and played harder. Eventually they found out that Kurt was a prince, of the Fire Kingdom, so when his father returned to the capital he had to bring back Kurt. But since then, for the rest of his childhood, Baldwin would always see Kurt, who would venture back to the town for the yearly fall festival.
But there’s a point where childhood ends, and that was when Kurt’s court life ate up a good deal of his life; which meant that the prince was not able to always attend the town's yearly fall festival. Despite that, Baldwin decided to enlist himself into the army like his father did, at a really young age one might add. But years of training with his father had taught him well, and he was able to keep up with most of the drills, learning the weapon of the regiment, and even excelling to a point where the local captain was able to recommended him to the Nation’s military academy. Coupled with his own father’s recommendation, Baldwin was able to enter the academy. And wouldn’t you know it, that’s where he met Kurt again!
The two became closer friends through their training, graduating side-by-side. While the prince headed back to the castle, Baldwin headed back to his family. The young man was welcomed back into his town like a hero, and his own family prided him for his achievement. He was now the second one of their family to become an officer, the rank of captain right out of the academy. Just in time to, because that was when war broke out with the Dark Kingdom.
During the war, Baldwin served under Kurt, being placed wherever he was needed, from the front-lines to the rear. He served alongside many regiments, halberdiers, musketeers, etc. Soon, he became the Prince’s own standard bearer, carrying his flag into battle from time to time. But that didn’t mean Baldwin didn’t lose a lot during the war. With his own eyes, he has seen regiments decimated by the dark arts, and he has lost more than friends...
Kurt’s army in the south was able to bypass the dangers passes thanks to both the dwarves superior tunnel navigation and fighting as well as the Arial troops such as Pegasus knights and great eagles, showing up on the other sides where they’re disciplined lines and overwhelming firepower came to bear against the dark kingdom’s western armies, but they were halted when the Northern army was pushed back by a small dark kingdom force. Eventually they would have to withdraw, due to the newly established peace between the two nations. Baldwin had no objection, the war was taking it’s toll on all sides. What he did object to was when his best friend was getting married off to some dark kingdom princess, like the rest of his retinue. But in the end, he was convinced by Kurt that this was the best for their people.
Baldwin is said to be a upbeat lad, polite, yet loves to laugh and drink with his mates. Even in battle he taunts the enemy with courage and let’s out war cries that men around him will cheer along. But there is something to be said about having a grudge, and that is dwarves do it the best. Yet Baldwin...tries to rational, tries to not to be prejudice. But after what he has went through, it is difficult for him. But unlike many in the fire kingdom, he simply keeps the comments to himself. Long as the prince stands tall, then he will be by his side, ready to take on anything that comes at them.

The Sun Gives Us Strength!~ As a warrior priest of the sun, Luthor can call upon the rays of the sun to strengthen himself and his weapon, as well as those around him. It also allows Luther to perform healing actions, though the more severe the wound the more concentration is required of him.
Warrior Priest~ Raised as a child to become both a warrior and priest of the sun, the man is a beast of a warrior.
Fear Not the Darkness~ This man can inspire soldiers and people around him, filling them with courage and purging any fears they have in their hearts.
Weapon:
Hammer of Rays~ Luthor’s weapon of choice, a large warhammer crafted to receive the rays of the sun.
Armor of the Sun~ Armor that strengthens an already durable man. It can take many blows and incorporate the rays from the sun.
In Libro Solem~ The Book of the Sun, the text that allows priests of the sun to call upon the powers of the sun. This scripture is attached to the side of Luthor with a chain.
Bio: Luthor was started as an orphan, taken in by the Church of the Sun. Even as a child, he was big and he had brute strength, so he was sorted, to become a warrior priest of the sun. His childhood was spent between studies of scriptures and training for battle. When he graduated to adulthood, he was one of few warrior priests sent to the armies of the Fire Kingdom. Fire many years he served, as an agent for both the church and kingdom. Luthor never was the one to make friends, letting his hammer do most of the talking. But then the war wit the Dark Kingdom occurred, and he was sent to accompany the army of the Fire Prince. It was there, he met Kurt and his retinue. He was able to form a strong bond with the young man, as both of them had many similar tastes, mainly in weaponry. Luthor soon became one of Kurt’s brothers-at-arms, known as the champion of the Fire Prince’s army. Luthor challenged and won against many of the Dark Kingdom’s champions, and help lead many charges forward. When the war was over, Kurt offered a position to Luthor, as his personal champion. Luthor could not help but agree, and thus his post today is at the side of the Prince of the Fire Kingdom.

Spymaster- A witch hunter is also an intelligence and counterintelligence specialist, that when in times of need, can vanish as easily as he appears.

Bio: Victor Van Heinz’s background is said to have been simple: He came from a merchant family, but it seem a quiet life did not satisfy him. Victor had joined the army at a young age, but was seen to have potential by one from the order after a brief incident and was promptly brought to the entry trials for the order. Victor passed, and he was accepted into the ranks of this order, eventually climbing it’s ranks but never attaining the rank of Witch Hunter Captain for reasons still unknown.
What is known is that Victor has served in the war, as a hero leading troops, as a spy gaining intelligence(mainly through interrogations), and a aid to the fire prince. It was a strange thing indeed, as witch hunters normally kept to themselves, working only when necessary. However, it would seem the level of corruption was greater between Victor and Kurt, even after the war, the prince had requested a permanent posting for Victor at his side. Since then, Victor has served as one of Kurt’s chief source for knowledge as well as one of his best agents in the field when it comes to more inquisitive internal matters.

Sniper- Armed with a musket, especially with a specialized scope, Dietmar can pick off enemies from a distance.
Artillerymen- Dietmar rose the ranks of his college partially due to his skills in the field of artillery. Dietmar knows how to calculate and then aim the cannon, he also knows how to effectively load it even under pressure. Thus, whenever Dietmar joins a artillery crew the crew itself will become much more effective at their job.
Sapper- Dietmar knows how to both undermine and strength a position no matter how strong it’s defences are.
Weapon:
Engineer’s Weapons- A catch all phrase for inventions from the Fire Kingdom’s college of engineering, this could include rifled muskets to repeater muskets all the way to a blunderbuss grenade launcher.
Three-Barrel Flintlock Pistol- A three barrel flintlock pistol that can be discharged consecutively, through each barrel needs to be reloaded separately.
Mace- A simple mace, capable of battering about armor.
Hidden Flame Thrower- Some people think Dietmar can wield the power of the flame, however it’s just a trick. Dietmar has a pipe connecting to a sort of wooden gas canister on his back, the pipe is hidden in his left sleeve, allowing him to pump out chemical fire. It’s magic, it’s science.
Bio: THe son of a farmer’s family, even at a young age Dietmar had a fascination for science and how things work. As he grew, his family was able to save enough money to send him to a local school, where he excelled, even rising up a few grades. This eventually caught the attention of a Engineering Guild, who would promptly take Dietmar under their wing as an apprentice. Working with many of these like minds, Dietmar’s potential became a reality.
When he was just turning into a young man, Dietmar and his Guild starting petitioning the government to help a fund a college of engineering's as well as a foundry to produce cannons for the Fire Kingdom’s armies. It was an hill battle, but it was here Dietmar met the young Fire Prince, and thanks to the young boy the project was approved. Dietmar would go on to work as a young teacher and inventor at the college, helping develop the cannon and train the cannon crews. Then the war rolled around, and the cannons from the Fire Kingdom’s forges were called to action.
Dietmar was assigned to head a battery assigned to known other then the same Fire Prince, but this time he was much older, not to mention bigger. Dietmar served Kurt, as a artillery officer, but also helped the Fire Prince plan out sieges, building defenses, and help to lay out the passageway to and from the Dark Kingdom. After the war, Dietmar went back to the college of engineering, though he was requested to be the Fire Prince’s personal advisor in the field of technology, and is available to be called upon by the fire prince.

Dwarf- A dwarf may be short, but they are also ridiculously tough and strong. They also possess great skill and craftsmanship in mining and smithing, and feel most at home in the mountains or underground.
Dwarf Warrior- All dwarfs know how to fight, and they love to be blunt. Whether it be holding a shield wall against a horde of enemies, or chopping their heads of with great weapons, these guys can be right nasty in a fight.
Dwarf Ranger- A dwarf ranger is a rather undwarf like figure, though they are not any less useful. Excellent pathfinders, especially in the mountainsides and underground, they are natural ambushers capable of leading foes astray and hitting them where it really hurts.

Runic Axe- A dwarf crafted axe, with runes imbedded in it to give it some intreasting properties.
Shield- A round shield, tough enough to take many blows.
Dwarf Crossbow- A masterworked crossbow, capable of shooting armor-piercing crossbow bolts with a high accuracy rating.
Dwarf Flintlock Pistol- A finally made weapon, used as a last means of defense.
Beer Mug- An iron beer mug, good for drinking out of and smashing enemies on the head.
Bio: Not much is really known about Ugnuk past other than he was outcasted from his clan and became a dwarf ranger. He arrived with the dwarf migration into the Fire Kingdom, in fact he was one of the first dwarfs to return to the homeland and one of the first dwarfs to meet the young Fire Prince. He assisted the dwarf in the reclaiming of their ancient holds in the mountains and the rebuilding effort. Ugnuk has also participated in the war against the Dark Kingdom in the Fire Prince’s army along with his kin. His biggest contribution was scouting out the tunneled passageway into the Dark Kingdom for Kurt’s army. After the war, he became a representative for dwarf people to the Fire Prince and has helped Kurt out on numerous occasions.

Bodyguard- Volker was once a soldier, now he’s the personal bodyguard of the Fire Prince, both on and off the battlefield. This has trained him to be ever vigilant, as well as quite durable in order to protect his charge.
Greatsword- His weapon of choice is the greatsword, quite the big hunk of steel that requires great strength, yet deadly in Volker’s hands.
Weapon:
Runic Greatsword- A finely crafted zweihandler with runes imbued into it not unlike his fellow comrades. These runes can be activated, though only by either Kurt, a fire wizard, or a Priest of the Sun.
Plate Armor- A fine set of plate armor that can protect against most incoming blows.
Arming sword- A secondary weapon, either for close quarters or if the primary weapon is out of action for some reason.
Flintlock pistol- Does not hurt to be prepared for anything.
Bio: Volker was born into a family of fishermen, really just another normal kid with a normal family. The only real thing that made him stand out was how big he grew, and as time went on he became stronger and much more durable. He would eventually enlist himself into the Fire Kingdom’s armies at a young age. From then on, he began training with his regiment day and night, and that’s where he stood out. His commanding officer recommended him to the new military academy in his early twenties, where he was schooled in tactics and command. There, he met the like of the Fire Prince and became one of his friends/classmates from the academy. After the academy, Volker would find himself now at the head of his own helbildier regiment, just in time for the war against the Dark Kingdom. Many times Volker and his regiment held the line, serving within Kurt’s army. Volker is perhaps famous for his rearline actions, preventing the enemy from intercepting their supplies or driving them off from the flanks. After the war, Kurt asked him to command his own bodyguard regiment of greatswords, known as the “Flame’s Greatswords.” How could Volker say no to a friend?

Knight- As a knight, Ottmar must possess great strength and durability, as well as skill when wielding weapons.
Lieutenant of the Iron Cross- Ottmar is not unfamiliar to commanding a formation of knights, and has lead a charge at the spear point of the formation.
Heavy Cavalry- The job of the heavy cavalry is to break the enemy, working as shock troops, and if needed, dealing damage to opponents larger than they.
Weapon:
Sword and Shield- A knights sword and shield, a good defensive combination.
Lance- Most useful when mounted, deadly in the hands in which are skilled at the weapon.
Greatsword- Occasionally, when anticipating a larger opponent, this knight can bring along a greatsword for that extra punch.
Plate Armor- Plate armor protection, including a helmet, that can soften most blows.
Flintlock Pistol- Even as knight, it would not harm him to have an extra advantage.
Heavy Charger- Although not as fast, the heavy charger is armored and is quite ferocious on the charge.
Bio: Ottmar was the third eldest child to be born into the Von Barun family, though he was the second eldest son. As the second eldest son, he was expected to be the one to represent their noble family in the military, so at a young age he was taken up as a squire, to become a knight. Though his parents were the ones who pushed this life onto him it was ultimatly his decision to become a knight, mainly to get away from his family, just like the some of his other siblings… He would become a knight and join a knightly order, raising the ranks until he was appointed lieutenant of the young blooded knights. The war against the Dark Kingdom came, and they were called to arms. Ottmar’s brother, Otto, serving as a logistics officer at the time, introduced the knight to Kurt. Their friendship would become brotherhood, as many times during the war, they lead the vanguard forward, riding side by side into the thick of battle. After the war, Kurt offered the knight a position to lead a new knightly order after the Fire Prince’s own symbol: THe Iron Cross. It was an honor for Ottmar, who took up the position of heading the Knightly Order, and to this day he serves as its leader.

Powers:
Outrider- An outrider has many duties, escorting VIPs, scouting out a position, but most importantly they function as a hit and run unit. Outriders are light cavlry, meaning they can move much rapidly than the main force and traverse terrain quickly as well. Though they may not last in melee, they are equipped with ranged gunpowder weapons to make up for that.
Musketeer- Otwin is an accomplished duelist, like any of such, he can be quick on his feet and strike just as fast. It is also should be noted, he’s not to bad with gunpowder weapons.
Pistolier- Some could call him a gunslinger, but Otwin is quite well versed in firing flintlock pistols, especially with one in each hand.
Weapon:
Cavalry Sword- A simple double-edged sword made for the likes of cavalry.
Braces of Flintlock Pistols- What the outriders are known for, their trusty flintlock pistols.
Half-Plate- Not as much protection as full plate armor, but not as heavy either.
Light Horse- Though not armored and a bit more vulnerable, these horses are much more faster than their heavier counterpart.
Repeater Musket- An experimental weapon, given to him by Dietmar from time to time to test out it’s effects on skirmishing.
Bio: Otwin, like his brothers, was born to the Von Buarn family. He was the 5th eldest child, but the 4th eldest son. Unlike his brothers, he was never really meant as more than a pawn in his family’s game for power, and unlike them he was much more rebellious about it. More times then once, he ran away from his home, only to be caught and returned to that accursed home. When he was of true age, he was able to escape his life in the noble home, joining up with the army in order to hide from his parent’s prying eyes. He joined with the Outriders, many of whom were also young noblemen’s son who were very hot headed and filled with bravado. However, they were officered by veterans, who were able to real them in and displine them. It would seem that the war with the Dark Kingdom would roll around, which allowed Otwin to see action with his regiment. THey preformed admirably, serving as scouts and skirmishers, chasing off skirmishers, ambushing the enemy, preventing reinforcments, all in a days work for an outrider. Otwin even got to know the Fire Prince thorugh his brother, and has even been ask to serve directly under him after the war. Today, he serves with two of his older brothers both their prince and their kingdom.

Weapons: 20 black sowing needles which are razor sharp and are always kept on Penelope's person at all time in case of emergencies.
Powers: Penelope has no magical powers but the 17 year old women did certainly posses a powerful aura. Along with her aura the girl had been gifted with superhuman eyesight which made throwing sowing needles far distances a lot easier.

Bio: Penelope has never understood discrimination or inequality maybe because when the four kingdoms were formed her ansectors took in the misfits, the freaks, the undesirables, this had made Penelope into a person who shall never judge based on appearance but only chatacther. She despises weak hearts and frail minds finding them a burden as she prides herself on her mental strength but maybe this is Penelope's greatest flaw as well as the intense barriers that she has put up around her heart have stopped her from experiencing the true joy in things. She is a strong young women who doesn't like to rely on people and only really cares about herself and her brother. Another striking feature is about how short she is as the Dark Princess stands at only 5'1 and to her subjects it's quite comical to see someone so serious stand at such a height but her subjects still admire her strength to protect the misfits, the freaks and the undesirables. Penelope had never really thought anyone as her enemy, even when the wars broke out she did not care for fighting others but only protecting her people as that's what any proper royal should prioritise but she did hold a slight grudge towards the fire nation as they certainly weren't offering any mercy to the dark kingdom.
Others: Penelope is gifted musically as well; she plays both guitar and piano to a high standard while also being able to sing pitch perfect which made her the go to women for small festivals as her people have always loved listening to their princess sing.

The reasons for Penelope's short height is that her family tree does not consist of all humans but with occasional dwarf ansestors popping up in her family tree but those features seemed to be more prominent in Penelope as she was of course smaller in size and frame but also her ears were more of a pointed shape than rounded.

The Axes of Sabaton: his twin axes that Sabaton has with him since his first deployment. They're perfectly ordinary.

Bio: Sabaton was the only son of a poor family, his family was very traditional. with his father often insisting of being the only means of income for the family despite the protest/instances of his sisters and mother, but his father always said the same thing "Men hunt & gather, Women stay within the home & protect the calfs"

Sabaton when he still lived with his sisters, he did everything to protect them. Even the smallest of slights against them would bring out Sabaton's full wrath on those who'd potentially bring harm to his siblings, not even the crime lords were exempted from his protective wrath

He was eventually jailed after having gone overboard by castrating the boyfriend of his sisters (The asshole was trying to date all his sisters at once) he was charged with Vigilantism and he was given a choice in his sentencing, be made to serve in The Freemen Division (Named so cause the division is manned entirely by prisoners & convicts) of the Dark Realms army or serve a 20 years jail sentences.

He chose the former, where the army proceeded to take advantage of his rage & strength by teaching him to harness his rage and releases it at the right time, while in the army Sabaton began making friends with the people within in his division & actually enjoyed his time in the army for a time.

He and his division became known for the complete lack of mercy towards the enemy, never taking prisoners, they were feared & respected. But despite their reputation, the division was almost completely wiped out by the soldier's & machines of the Industrial Empire during The Massacre at The Singed River, it was a certain victory for the Industrial Empire, and it would have gone down into the history books as such.

Hadn't Sabaton gone on a grief-stricken rampage across the battlefield slaughtering everyone still alive, Sabaton doesn't remember much of the massacre, he can only remember himself crying and holding onto the lifeless body of his friend, his final memory before the black out was him looking at the war-machines of the industrial empire.

When he came to was covered from head to toe in the blood of his friends and enemies. it is said he spent two days after that just crying amongst the rotting corpses, before being found & retrieved.

He was later discharged from the army on the grounds of mental instability, since then Sabaton began going by his middle name only, He hasn't seen his sisters since his stay at a mental hospital, has grown to become quite self-loathing and prone to start crying at the sight of blood, he's also developed a case of insomnia, due to frequent night-terrors. He makes his money as a bodyguard-for-hire

Bio:
Kai was born on the first full moon following the end of the war. The youngest of the royal family, Kai never worried about the marriage alliance because it was made before she was born and before the death of her older sister Katrina. Kai loves her family, but Katrina was more than just a sister to her, she was everything Kai wished she could be, smart, beautiful, and everything you’d expect of royalty. She had died from a strange and incurable illness recently and left a large hole in the family, and Kai’s heart.

Kai grew up without having to worry about any of the responsibilities of being a princess. She spent most her time playing in the waters surrounding the palace and learning how to sing from some of the sirens that lived nearby. Kai is still as bubbly and curious as ever and always finds her way into trouble. Since all the duties of a royal princess have fallen upon her, she hasn’t been able to be as carefree and naïve as she once was. While she loves helping her people, she doesn’t like all the policy and planning she has to learn about, and most of all looking like royalty. She is even more opposed to the idea of a marriage that was never meant for her. Kai tries hard to forget about her responsibilities and often takes day trips out to visit the Homeland to lay up in the trees. It is only there that she can go and not be recognized as a royal, since most still think of Katrina as their princess. After all, she always preferred her comfiest clothes to the new high fashion ones she is forced into at the palace.

Her love for her people and family runs deep, but she is not one to show much emotion when in the limelight.

Katrina Baymoon died a mere six months before her arranged marriage, throwing her family and Kingdom into a great depression. Her role in the marriage alliance is carried on by her younger and naïve sister Kai. It is alleged that her death was caused by a poison from the Red Bandit, however their relationship may run deeper than many know.

Bio: After her homeland was burned to the ground by Fire Kingdom soldiers, Katya was captured as a spoil of war and married to a powerful general, who wanted little to do with her. She studied her magic in secret, since her abilities were shunned for their roots on black magic. She spent her time in the king's court, gathering information about the war and the state of the Gilded continent. After her husband died in combat, instead of remarrying, she fled the kingdom and roamed the neutral territory, searching for any other survivors from her village.

Katya sought solace in the Dark Realm and made a living supplying the wealthy with trapped furs, while conducting a side business in dealing information about the Fire Kingdom. She made powerful allies in the royal family on both fronts, and was well provided for her efforts. No one questioned her sources or her background--they shared a common enemy. She remains a dubious if useful figure behind a victimized community, but nonetheless victimized herself.

There is a dignity Katya holds, a self-respect that keeps her from falling into poor choices. She knows of her strengths, her skills and her advantages in life; but with that- she also understands where her weaknesses are. That's where her confidence comes into play, as she can do her best to cover any weaknesses and appear indomitable to those whom threaten her. Though she is not an overly-confident, stuck-up woman. She merely knows her place in the world, and when it comes to a task at hand, she strives to succeed. She comes off as frosty, but she is fiercely protective of children and cares for the infirm.

She’s bold and strong-willed, confident and proud, though she doesn’t always broadcast these qualities; a quiet demeanor, layered by a soldier’s posturing, suppresses much in the way of body language. Even her eyes, incandescent in their cool blue pragmatism, reveal very little as to what goes on in her head.

When asked about her name, there are two possible answers, it might be because of her unnatural calmness after her birth or because of the many serenades her parents sang to her, maybe even a mix of both. Although she has always been an only child, she was never spoiled by her parents, as they were convinced that it would have a bad impact on their child. Contrary to that, she has lived an almost ascetic life until the age of 16. This kind of education has led to her being able to live and enjoy life with the bare minimum as well as adopting a gentle, as well as kind-hearted personality, in addition to her already calm demeanor. She will always put other people’s needs above her own and will most definitely catch a (non)-metaphorical bullet for those close to her.

Most of the time people don’t realize that Serenity is a Siren, as it isn’t very apparent. When not underwater, there’s nothing that differs her from the Human race. Yet, when completely submerged underwater, the gills, situated beneath her jaw, become visible, as well as the scales, which are, unlike a fish, distributed rather loosely and lightly across her forehead, as well as her arms, legs and pectoral area. Not only her appearance changes, but also her abilities. She is able to swim faster as well as breathe underwater.

During her spare time, she enjoys accompanying one of her parents during their work, if possible that is. This provides her with some helpful information for future reference, as she will most likely follow in their footsteps when choosing a career path. If she is not following them around, she enjoys some time by herself, simply thinking about recent happenings, while going on a walk, although her being a dreamy girl, she often gets lost in her thoughts and ends up lost. (Although not for long as she somehow always finds back!) Serenity also enjoys doing some voluntary work where it is needed, or pass some time knitting, which she herself finds to be a weird, yet satisfying and useful hobby.

When asked about her opinion on the forced weddings to finally put a definitive end to all the wars that had ravaged their land, she can’t really give an answer. Of course, any act of violence is, in her opinion, atrocious and should be stopped and forbidden. On the other hand, to her, love is something precious and of great importance. And marriage? Marriage is like a contract that seals it all, and so much more, it sustains you. You should be the one choosing the person you will spend your life with.
Although she isn’t directly affected by the marriage, as her best friend, the prince of the Water Domain, must marry the Industrial Daughter, although they might be considered their complete opposite, still makes her feel somewhat involved in this. Nevertheless, Serenity will support them, no matter what the Prince decides to do.

Unremarkable- One of the reasons Jack and his gang is so hard to catch is because of how unremarkable they look compared to those around them, often time the working class, and thus it’s almost impossible to figure out who they are in their elements.

R.I.P.- A rather large but simple knife, that has gained infamy every since it fell into the hands of Jack.

Bio: Jack grew up as one of thousands of orphans in the streets of within the Industrial Nation. He was unremarkable, just another wheel caught up in the industrial machine, perhaps it was why he was always beat upon by the bigger kids. As life went on, things didn’t get better, forced child labor, the starvation, the beatings, even homelessness, typical for a citizen at the bottom of the industrial nation.
Then the war rolled around, he was a young man then, conscripted into the ranks of the industrial nation army. Things were hell, if it was unremarkable then, he was cannon fodder now. People he knew, died all around him, it became less about winning and more about survival as the war progressed. But at least he had a meal, and a place to sleep, even sites that were not the depressing black smoke of the city. Then as suddenly as it came, the war ceased with a snap of the fingers. Thousands were lost, but Jack somehow survived.
So now, Jack was suppose to go back to his old life of toiling away endlessly with little pay and breaking work for the rest of his life.
To hell with that.
It was the last thing Jack thought when he picked up a knife, and brutally stabbed a corrupt police officer beating on a homeless worker repeatedly in front of a crowded. When he realised what he had done, who was looking at him, something came over him that to this day he did not know. Instead of running, he hopped on top of a nearby box, and urged people to join him, join him in righting the wrong, join him, because you're tired of your life. And so, one man stepped forward, a factory worker once an orphan, then another man stepped forward, a railway worker who was starving, and then another, and then another. Soon, on top of that crate surrounded by workers, in the middle of the streets, next to the docks, the Strays were formed.
The Strays got their names because the vast majority of their members were once orphans or homeless. The Strays were not the only gangs of the Industrial Nation, fact was the every city’s underbelly were teeming with street gangs due to poverty. But the Strays were different then your average street gang, instead of stealing for themselves, they stole from the rich and gave to the poor, righted any wrong, protected the innocent and punishing the guilty. Their reputation grew, respect and infamy were gained, the abusers of power feared them while honest could stare in awe at what they did. More members swelled their ranks, and their gang’s territory increased. They were a young gang, but they were growing fast. Many of the upper class saw them as filthy criminals by much of the upper class, but from the bottom they were seen as heroes. But that didn’t mean they were bloodthirsty killers, anyone seeks justice or wants to improve society can find an ally in the Strays, but those who think for themselves will suffer their retribution.

Ace Pilot- The moment Benjamin took to the skies was the moment he knew what he wanted to do, he’s been getting better every since.
Tinkerer- Benjamin likes to tinker around with a bunch of stuff, whether it be a broken grandfather clock or his planes, he’s got a mind for fixing and even inventing.
Unremarkable- Though he is the Industrial Son, he is still incredibly unremarkable, helped by the way he dresses on a daily basis; which means he can easily blend in with the crowed.

O’l Faithful- A simple revolver that Benjamin’s been using since a child, he still carries it with him today.
Freedom- A biplane that Benjamin had built and worked on since a child. It can be fitting with machine guns but generally comes unarmed.
Buzzer- A more recent machinery that Benjamin owns, a gyrocopter that has chain for lifting object. It is also capable of being armed like the Falcon.
Bio: Benjamin is the youngest industrial son, as he was called. For the majority of his childhood he was schooled and excelled at his education, but lacked physical department, mainly fencing. But this was one of the facts that proved Benjamin didn’t exactly fit into the scene, heck, he never wore anything that would befit an aristocrat. Benjamin never had any friends in his school, being made up of entirely sons and daughters of aristocrats, fact was most of his friends at the time were adults. The only friends his age that Benjamin found were those of a lower classes, many were orphans, but when Benjamin could sneak away to visit the streets he would often do. They would many games together through the streets, kickball, mud fights, and the like. But his father would have nothing of the sort, and eventually had him escorted at nearly all times. Benjamin’s life became linear,life in school didn’t get any better, as fellow school mates lambasted him as a “filthy peasant lover”.
Life seemed so bleak for a time, until one day Benjamin was hiding from his escort in the courtyard of the mansion he lived in, when he stumbled upon the family’s private airfield. Air travel was relatively new, yet a progressing field in the Industrial nation. He met a young pilot who was fixing up his airplane, when pilot noticed the young boy simply staring at him. The pilot would go on to offer the Industrial Son a ride in his plane, to which the boy was fascinated. When took off, Benjamin felt a rush of adrenaline that he never felt ever before, and it was that moment he knew what he wanted to be: A pilot.
Benjamin’s father was actually open to this, it would keep Benjamin in one place and an engineer was quite respectable, especially if the Son of Industry was one. So with the help of the pilot, Benjamin built a plane, his own plane. He named plane “Freedom”, because of the feeling he felt when he took to the skies, above the black smoke, and into the blue skies. Time would go on, most of Benjamin’s free time went to tinkering, not just with his plane, but other neat gadgets. A war came, a war went, nothing much changed in Benjamin life, other than conversations about the war against the water kingdom.
His father would eventually grant him more freedom, and one day Benjamin decide to venture back into the city to visit his old friends. But what Benjamin found instead of just old childhood nostalgia was a grim reality; many friends were toiling away in factories, others had joined violent street gangs, and yet there were others who were homeless after they returned from the war. It was then Benjamin realized how naive he had been all these years, to think all of them could survive in such an environment, everything seem to come together like some sort of twisted machine.
But Benjamin was not to stand idle, after learning of what happened to his friends, he would use his position as future “Industrial Father” to push for reformation in the Industrial senate. Benjamin was always timid on the floor, yet he made good points, but time and time again he would be defeated in the senate. But he was persistent if nothing, and was able to pass little reformations here and there. This did not go unnoticed by the people, as word got out about the young Industrial Son’s achievements. It wasn't just on the Senate floor that the young man try to help the people; he started one of the first people’s newspapers, help open soup kitchens and pushed for charities. Yet, even with helping the people, he did have personal milestones he wanted to achieve: Studying at a college. So Benjamin’s life became a juggling act, between daily visits to the senate, helping run an organization such as the newspaper, attending lectures, and whatever free time he had left he would tinker or take to the air in Freedom. Some days, he would do nothing, instead just taking to the air, or disguising himself to visit the city and his friends.
But one day, his father had an announcement: He would be married off to a Water Princess. Frankly, the young man was surprised and perhaps shocked. Benjamin was not ready for this, he already had problems talking to girls, let along having a wife! But it would seem that the Industrial Son had to add that to the list of things to juggle in his already busy life.

Bio:
Born into a small, middle-class family, Vincent lived out a modest life for the most part. His father owned a shop, and he was the one usually helping out; often as an errand boy. Vincent liked seeing the soldiers training every once in a while, and once dreamed of becoming one of them, although his mother would discourage him saying that it is a very dangerous profession, especially now that there is a lot of tension between the kingdoms. Although he doesn't really show it, he still has a desire to be able to somehow be able to do anything more exciting than bargaining and trading.

Vincent is a very curious child growing up, asking a lot of questions about anything he doesn't understand. In his free time, he would often be reading books that his father has in his collection. A lot of these books were from all sorts of people, and had subject matters ranging from magic, cooking, epic stories and even history. These were he ones that he liked the most as it really showed how much more there is to know about the world.

Vincent is quite considerate of other people, at least he tries his best to be. Up to this day, he still feels like he hasn't found what he has truly wanted to do. Part of it is because of his hobby of reading books, but he feels like he still isn't satisfied with his current life, that there is still a lot more to be learned about the huge world, seemingly full of mysteries.

Glance of Frost - Heavily chills targeted object and covers the surface with slick ice. His control is well developed from combat during the war. He can also use this skill repeatedly to thicken the ice or cause it to shatter.
Calling of Flame - Increases the heat within an object to the point of combustion. This power requires a gesture of the hand to use and is only mildly useful in battle due to its limited strength. It's greatest usefulness comes when he needed to provide campfires for his warriors in cold, wet woods and caves.
Grasp of the Master - The nature of anything can be rewritten if held in a firm grip. This takes time and requires bare hand contact. It doesn't work on people as their self-dominion is too strong.
Weapon: Animus Mort - a sword of shimmering green metal that was made by use of "Grasp of the Master" from the body of a slain Pooka. It allows its wielder to cross rough terrain and long distances with speed and ease so long as it is night. It also grants power over mist, shadow and fog.
Bio:

Danil Draven was not born the most intimidating nor the least in terms of stature. Standing at 5'10" and having a modest frame he could be easily mistaken for a human at first glance. Throughout his life he was diligent in developing both his combat skills and his scholarly wisdom. However, the Prince of the Dark Kingdom was never one to flaunt his capabilities. Until the war began many had little hope that he would be anything but a figurehead.

That all ended after his first battle. In that engagement against the Fire Kingdom's army he led a small force in a surprise night attack under the cover of fog and darkness. While he engaged the best of the army's leadership in running battles, he slew many of their common soldiers and lesser officers, tipping the odds in the Dark Kingdom's favor until the leaders of the army found themselves fighting almost alone against the prince and his warriors. Having suffered few losses, the Prince's force was able to push the Fire Kingdom's army back into the narrow and winding passes where the terrain was roughest. The Prince knew that this terrain with many cliffs and blind corners with blowing snow and howling wind was perfect for the irregular and highly varied powers and strengths of the Dark Kingdom's army. It was here that most of the Dark Kingdom's battles were waged during the short but bloody war.

It was in the howling dark of those rocky passes that Danil's courtly manner and bookish habits faded into a shadow of their earlier elegance. They were replaced by a cold efficiency and ruthless practicality. Many blamed the many battles and lost lives for the loss of the studious prince who was, in hindsight, a symbol of the kind of realm that many of the people and monsters wished for. But, in truth, it was the first few moments of the war that sparked the frigid flame of his anger and forged him into the fearless blade and calculating leader that his warriors relied upon. He would never forget the dangerous journey into the Fire Kingdom and the earnest desire for friendship that had motivated him then. But, more than that, he would never forget the look on his sister's face as her own dreams of a brighter future were so gravely wounded, nor the desperate flight back into their northern realm.

He had never been an affectionate brother, nor had he spent a great deal of time in his sister's company. Each had their own duties and trained to help their people in different ways. Furthermore, they were adopted and shared neither race nor blood. Still, he was far from indifferent.

She had a power he did not. The people and creatures of their diverse land brightened and their hearts and burdens became lighter when she was near. He saw and admired this greatly. Even after the war and the horrors of it, she was the bright light that kept their people smiling. While Danil was adept at organization and combat, taking care of the physical needs of his people and protecting their lives, he could not lift the depression weighing on their hearts. Many admired him and he was honored for his many accomplishments but, while his sister brightened the mood of any room she entered, his presence only strengthened resolve and pride. Those near him worked and fought harder and refused to cut corners in their work.

When the decision was made for peace to be pursued the army was training in the mountains and the Prince was there with it, training along with his warriors. By the time word reached Danil of the plan to use arranged marriages to bind the kingdoms to the path of peace he was already halfway back to the city in a place with many slender and thorny trees. When they left that place, four of those trees were scattered in slashed and shattered pieces across the area. The few warriors that accompanied him also kept a greater distance than usual.

It was not that he objected or opposed the decision. He understood it all too well. Yet, despite his calculating mind, he still had many powerful feelings about the war. Still, he would abide by that decision and do what he must to protect his people by ending the war.

    Enchants clothes with spells of protection against dirt, stains, and makes them less susceptible to wear and tear. He can also magically clean, press, and mend them.

  4. Pop out Drawings
    Enchantment. Allows him to pull out his drawings and paintings from their pages and then let his clients wear them. These drawings are illusions, put in place through runes.

- A Tailor's Tale -

Devon Bronson grew up in a travelling carnival. His kin, the cat-folk called Purrsians moved out of their freezing tundra home in the Dark Realm after the wars and wandered the world as gypsies and travelling fairs. He had another name then, before he took up a tailor's apprenticeship in the Fire Kingdom, under the mastery of Mr. John Cartwright, a mouse.

Perhaps it was because they were small, that the mice-folk weren't as feared as the rest of the Dark Realm creatures, that they were able to set up businesses for the big folk in the Fire Kingdom.

Devon was attracted to the cheer and laughter here where his love for graceful, regal clothes would be appreciated. He didn't want to return to the Dark Realm where most of the clothes were drearily black, so by leave of his gypsy parents he decided to strike out and make his own way in the world.

Mr. Cartwright had squeakily laughed at the idea, a cat living with mice, but Devon was very serious at becoming a tailor and seeing his clothes being worn by others, that Mr. Cartwright gave him a chance, after he signed a contract that he would not eat any of the mice.

It has been eight years since then, and now Mr. Devon Bronson lives in the rustic capital city, where his cozy shop: Bronson Tailoring, sits in the cobblestone street of Marelin Park, a pleasant side of the city where there are many delicious bakeries.

As his workmanship improved over the years, his advertisements in the newspapers have attracted clients from not only the Fire Kingdom, but from the Water and Industrial Kingdoms as well, especially the nobles. Because of the kingdom's relations, he often had to travel via zeppelin or hippogriff to his clients. This has made him well traveled, and versed with the languages and culture of the three kingdoms, which has caught the eye of some Fire Kingdom ambassadors, whom he had come to have acquaintances with to talk about the politics in the realms. Devon kept mum about his client's personal lives, though, as was his professional code.

But the best thing that happened to him was receiving a royal letter from the King. A request to make his daughter's wedding dress.

    One of Devon's precious belongings is a camera that was given to him by a client from the Industrial Empire. After taking pictures of his adventures, he visits a friend in the fire kingdom who then develops the film in a potion that makes the pictures move afterwards.

    Will never forget his first adventure with this berserker. They and Farlan, a tundra werewolf guide got drunk on coal-ale after shaving mammoth fur. That night, Devon apparently shaved his own chest and belly fur off and drew an angry face there with ash and red berries, then proceeded to dance around the campfire as the fire god.

    Then on the hike back to the Dark Realm, Farlan had this idea of dumping coal-ale in the water supply of some hostile nerubian spiders so that they could pass through this ancient underground city. It ended with the spiders becoming affectionate, and then Devon got caught by six large female nerubians and got kissed by them. He took it like a man.

The war is won and there are stories to tell of heroes and villains. Facts become legend and legends become fact. Two such stories that are now common within the Four Kingdoms are the Great White Wolf and the Red Bandit...

The Great White Wolf is a benevolent white wolf that wanders through all the lands. Some say the wolf smuggles orphaned children to loving homes and delivers justice to the deserving. Others say the beast sings baleful songs to the moon that can be heard from all kingdoms.

The Red Bandit is the greatest criminal of the Gilded Continent. Said to have no home, the Bandit is known only by name and by deed. No one has seen the face of the Bandit and lived. No one knows what they look like. They say all you see is a flash of red. Many believe the Red Bandit is responsible for the death of Princess Katrina of the Water Domain.

There are those who believe the beings are working together, and those who believe they couldn't be more separate. All that they truly know, is that they know nothing.

He is a suave and charming man who could sweep anyone off their feet. He is also the head musician and composer for the wedding.

Bio:
Tamara Esgard, or, how others usually called her, Tammy, grew up in an orphanage. What might sound like the beginning of a sad story turns out to (almost) not affect her the slightest. Before knowing what an orphanage is, she always thought of it as a big family, a house in which she lived with all her friends, which it kind of was. She never felt alone.

From time to time there would be visitors, royals even. Those where her favorite days, which felt almost like holidays! She had always looked up to them... well not exactly the royals (which she still respected) but the ones which accompanied them. The knights in shining armor. She had always stared at them in awe, and, inspired by the heroic and strong aura that surrounded them, she decided to later in life become one of them. In her free time, Tamara and her friends would even take whatever brooms and sticks they could find and pretend to be knights and imitate their fights.

Years passed and, after she had finished the necessary school years, she could finally begin her apprenticeship as a guard. The training and studies she had to absolve weren't all too easy. She would almost always be completely exhausted at the end of the day.Yet from this experience, Tamara earned strength and wisdom and it turned her from a once shy and calm person into a energetic, lively girl, passionate about what she does. Yet, some of her qualities, like her clumsiness or her naivety, will most likely never change.

Having only recently finished her apprenticeship, she has to take on smaller jobs, which are usually very pathetic. On the bright side, as these jobs are usually on the shorter side, she has a lot more free time than expected, in which she enjoys to visit her old orphanage.

Bio:
Isaac Seabury, or simply known as ‘The Doctor’, is a citizen of the Industrial Empire. Nothing much is known about his personal life, nor his age or even his looks. There are only a few things that people are sure of: First off, The Doctor has been around for quite a while. They can’t put a certain age on him, and his voice, muffled by his mask, which he will never take off in company of others, might sound rather youngish – as if he were around mid-20 – yet people as old as 30 have heard about him when they were still children. Secondly, the doctor isn’t the same that he used to be, physically seen that is. People are sure that at least a few of his body parts have been replaced by prosthetics, made by himself. Rumors have it that he is entirely a robot. Lastly, as secretive his work is, it works. Again, rumors have it that he performs experiments on everything he is able to catch, even sentient beings such as his fellow men, humans as well as other races. The thing about it is, that Isaac himself has never once contradicted these rumors or even tried to prove them wrong.

His main office is rather hidden in one of the many slums of the Industrial Empire. There, he works on new projects, and sometimes, yet rarely, receives visits and patients. For his work, he prefers traveling around all the kingdoms, as it also allows him to explore new herbs and species, which he likes to register in books for further use.

As mentioned before, the rumor about him performing experiments on other sentient beings has damaged his reputation to some degree. Yet, as he is also well known for his amazing potions and researches, people from higher ranks, even royals, tend to ask for his advice or even order him to pay them a visit. They try to do it as secretively as possible as it might damage their reputation as well.

Powers: Mechanical Clothing Manipulation. Rose excells at engineering, and uses her skills to hide mechanical parts in the lining of her clothes. She then uses her half Fae magic to send an electric current into the parts to either use them as individual weapons she can control for quiet kills or to engineer them into a larger and deadlier machines when she's confronted with overwhelming odds. When desperate, she can also pull in nearby mechanical pieces to add to her creations.

Weapon: Her weapon of choice is a dress she calls "Toxic Beauty." It's a Fire Kingdom inspired white and red flowy dress with a fire emblazoned sash around the waist. At it's fully mechanized peak, she is able to take parts from the lining of the dress to create a fully articulate scorpion tail, made even deadlier with the poison hidden within the lining of her sash.

Bio: Rose was born in the Industrial Empire. Her father was a Royal Engineer, working on projects around the Empire to improve the lives of the lower class citizens. He was a kind man with not many friends, due to his philanthropic ideals that were not popular among his colleagues or the royal elite. During one of his projects, he met a female Fae street performer singing and dancing for money. She lived in the slums, hiding her true lineage, as magical creatures were despised in the Industrial Empire. Her voice and movements were so beautiful, he could not take his eyes off her. The two quickly fell in love and had a half human half Fae child.

Rose and her Parents lived a happy and uneventful life for years. However, as rumbles of war began to spread, work had become sparse for Rose's father. He would often come home frustrated and angry, complaining about another canceled project or another of his rivals speaking out against his ideals. Rose's mother, however, saw the writing on the wall. She began to teach her young daughter to control the powers she inherited, and how to hide herself among the normal humans afraid of their kind. Everything was fine until the day a spy hired by a rival of her father spotted Rose and her mother practicing magic. That was the day everything changed.

That night, soldiers came for them. Her mother burst into her room, shouting for her to run before disappearing downstairs. Frightened, Rose climbed out the window and snuck around the building, looking inside at what was happening. She could not hear the voices of the soldiers, but they were yelling at her father as her mother stood angrily watching. Seconds later, the soldiers were attacking as a bright light filled the room, sending electrified bodies flying through the windows. More soldiers poured in as her parents tried in vain to fight them off, there were simply too many. It wasn't long before they both laid on the ground bloody and defeated.

The young 6 year old girl had no idea what to do, so she simply ran. She ran until she left the outskirts of the city, until she made it out into the wilderness, until she simply could run no further. She was tired, cold, hungry, and sad. Her clothes were torn and she was full of dirt and cuts, but she still continued to run. On the 6th day, her body finally gave out. She was lost and very near death. She huddled up beneath a tree, sobbing at the memory of her parents, as a stranger dressed in black approached her. Her body was so far gone, she didn't even notice another presence, nor did she hear or feel her lift her up and place her onto her horse.

10 long years passed since that day. Rose was now 16 and living in the Dark Realm with a diverse group of children her age. Most of them were from different kingdoms, and were all a wide variety of species. Every day they trained in the harshest of conditions. If they had powers and abilities, they were constantly put in life or death situations to develop them further. They were taught to assimilate into the culture of every kingdom, blending into the people to stealthily perform missions and reconnaissance. They were taught to kill when necessary, beating into them the danger of creating meaningful attachments. It was a very hard life, filled with very little joy or reprieve.

The person who had saved Rose was a spy master and headmistress of the facility. Even though she was charged with training each of the children to be spies for the Dark Realm, she had taken a liking to Rose. Having found her, nursing her to health, and training her since she was a child, she had grown attached to her. In many ways, she had become her surrogate mother. She gave Rose more attention then many of the other children and trained her harsher to ensure that she was the best.

The day Rose turned 17, she was finally given her mission. Rose was to infiltrate the Fire Kingdom and befriend the Fire Princess at any cost. Many of the Dark Elite were unhappy with the treaty and sought war among the Kingdoms. They tasked Rose with doing whatever it takes to sabotage the wedding, even going so far as to assassinate the Princess as a last ditch effort.

A day later, and Rose was off to her new life. She took nothing with her but a stipend of money and a Fire Kingdom dress given to her by her surrogate mother. On arrival, she took residence in a safe house, converting it into a repair shop and home base. Little by little, she is using her repair duty access to do recon around the kingdom, planning for her eventual meeting with princess.

High Society - Alice's upbringing has given her the ability to thrive in the cut throat world of High Society. Her standing among the upper crust has opened a lot of doors for her in the past.

"Kaylee Frye" - Alice's engineer, always developing new and innovative equipment.

Weapon: "Element Blaster" - Experimental weapon tech developed by Kaylee Frye. It is a sidearm capable of shooting elemental bullets based on the various magics found in the world. The power does not compare to the actual elements, but when used properly, can be very deadly.

"Syn Sofgram" - Alice's bodyguard. She is the only person to ever embarrass Alice both physically and mentally. She often deals with situations with extreme prejudice, before they become situations that Alice needs to be involved in.

Bio: Alice, the eldest of the Industrial children, was born into a world of high society. It was a world of backstabbing, ruthlessness, and two-faced people with power fighting for more power. It was a disgustingly unnecessary world, but she loved every aspect of it. It was all a game to Alice, one that she rarely lost. Her intelligence and brutal military acumen always kept her a dozen steps ahead of the competition. To her, there was nothing better then shaming anyone that came after her, and the people loved her for it.

While her younger brother had become known as a champion of the common man, Alice had become the face of the Industrial Kingdom leadership. Along with attending to many of the obligatory events expected of the Industrial Daughter, Alice also frequented most of the military strategy meetings. She had a keen eye for strategy, so much so that at the age of 18, her father allowed her to form a small group of specialists to carry out her own personal missions.

The most trusted among her team was an engineer named Kaylee Frye and her advisor and bodyguard Syn Touka. Kaylee was an eccentric young engineer, ignored by her peers because of her wild and impractical ideas. She met Alice while blowing a hole through the wall of her bedroom to try and get her attention after months of rescheduled meetings. Since then, she has developed all the equipment for Alice's team, saving the newest and most unique items for Alice herself. Syn, like Alice, was another child thrust into Industrial High Society. The two were rivals, often trading victories and losses with each other. Syn was the first person Alice recruited. It took weeks of negotiations before she joined, eventually coming down to the fact that as her guard and advisor, Syn ultimately had the power over Alice to influence all her action and decisions. Her reasoning was quite petty, but she was fiercely loyal and rarely left Alice's side.

Because of her upbringing, Alice had very little interest in the suffering of her people. She often butted heads with her younger brother, never understanding why he spent so much effort trying to help everyone. Alice disliked everyone, choosing, instead, to help the standing of the kingdom as a whole. Although despite their differences, Alice truly loved her little brother. She counted him among the few people she could trust, even if she did choose to keep certain things from him.

Alice was unsure how to feel about her wedding. The strategist in her knew it made sense, a single sacrifice to ensure peace and prosperity. On the other hand, the woman in her dreaded being forced to move to a kingdom of people she had no respect for. She had visited the Water Kingdom once as a teenager. The people were so friendly and familiar with her that it made her feel uneasy. Her daily life was a constant battle for superiority, she was unsure how well she would fit in such a calm and serene place. Her bigger concern, however, was how her younger brother would deal with the situation. He was so young and idealistic, she kept much from him to give him the opportunity to live the life she could not. She would always have her spies keeping an eye on him and the situation in her kingdom, but she feared what would happen in her absence. Only time would tell.

  • Kicks and Punches || He hits really hard.
  • Fold-able broom stick || Just in case he needs to clean a room and it's travel size which is wonderful. It's made with metals that resist rusting and he can use it to whack someone before running away.
  • Poisonous sharp teeth || He may be a horse but he's still a Fae! A bite from him is painful and dangerous, but it's rare for him to bite anyone because he thinks it's barbaric.
Bio:
Rein was found by one of the maids who worked for the water kingdom's royal family and was raised by the maids and chefs there.

As the years went by and the war raged on with the Industrial kingdom, the Kelpie realizes his potential at fighting with his abilities but he chooses to stay away from the fights. To him, physical fights are silly unless there was a good reason behind it and he will do his best to find out what's truth and what's gossip first before really getting himself involved.

When he heard about the arranged marriages, Rein thought it was a good idea at first since it will stop the wars...then he heard who was marrying who and it worried him. The Water kingdom is the most spiritual kingdoms, how can they arrange the most spiritual to the less believing? It's too much of a difference!

So when everyone was wondering who would want to go with the Water Princess to the Industrial Kingdom, Rein volunteered willingly. He didn't want the bubbly princess to be alone without a friend or at least someone who will lend an ear to her plights. Now, he was getting her and himself ready to leave their home and go to their 'new' home where her husband-to-be is...

  • Bark! || It's to grab people's attention, enough to deafen the ears for a minute or two.

  • Kitsune mask || This item helps her change into a kitsune. She keeps on her being at all times.

Bio:
Yoko left her home to find out what her nine life goals are as it is tradition for kits at the age of nine to start their journey after realizing their potential.

However for Yoko, she didn't know what she can do or what she would like to do yet even with her three tails. So she wanders around between kingdoms, one of which she avoids; the industrial kingdom. As the wars were happening, the young kit had to take shelter in the fire kingdom, not wanting to be part of the war at all.

Then while wandering around in the streets, she saw a store that featured a certain cat tailor's designs up in front of the window. Yoko was so entranced by the craftsmanship that she left to find the tailor who caught her attention, hoping that he will teach her of his ways of tailoring and creating clothes as beautiful and intricate as his.

Nowadays, she would be seen going inside his shop and help around, wanting to learn more and more of how he does things. Perhaps with this, she will eventually have nine tails like her grandmother.
