I am the Deathkitten! Fear me!
This is an rp that I have had as a 1x1 for a while, but have not done as a group rp. I would need to flesh it out more, but these are the bones of it. Anyone interested?

Planet: Ciel - 2x size of Earth, pangea-like continent, mostly ocean, many islands, thick atmosphere, deep oceans, many deep ocean geysers, Neko-like native inhabitants, natives have considerable technology but it is magic based, Humans are generally welcoming of them, natives are wary but accepting of the Humans generally, generally accepted that crossbreeding is impossible (possibly that the government of the colony has it in place that they are experimenting on the crossbreeds and their parents? in actuality it isn’t likely, but not impossible), giant trees

Humans:
A race originating from Earth, humankind began space exploration roughly ten years past. In that time, though, many corporations had jumped on board, sending volunteers to literally every planet they would be capable of populating and terraforming. The company sent to Ciel was named Ragnos Corp, a massive pharmaceutical company that dominated much of the medicine industry on Earth. Armed with space age technology like anti-gravity fields and associated forms of transit, as well as railguns of all sizes and intense lasers often used for mining and woodcutting. They have been on Ciel less than six years by now.
Nekos:
A race of shape-shifting cat-people, the Humans deemed them Nekos and it rather stuck. Their own word for their kind couldn’t be said in the Human languages, so they took the word as a translation for their kind. They are a magically driven people, and pride themselves on their abilities. They are also a prideful people, seeming much like the cats from Earth. They are kin to their cat brethren on the planet itself, though those felines are much larger than they are.
Appearance wise, they prefer to appear to Humans as humanoid people with cat ears and an assortment of tails. The number of tails that they have tends to correspond to the magical power that they hold, and more often than not their standing in society. Rarely do they have more than nine tails, though they will tell stories of Nekos that got over 50 tails. Though they shapeshift, they cannot shift to have more tails than they would normally have, but they can have less than normal. They have fangs, and nails that are far sharper than they look.
They are primarily carnivorous, only eating plants as a supplement or for a special occasion. Their ages are still mostly undocumented by Humans, as they have only been there a short time. They live longer the more tails that they have, their lore speaking of Nekos reaching over a thousand years of age. Theoretical biological immortality.
They are protective over their kind and those they deem as their mates. The Females have the right to choose their mating partner, as it is a Matriarchal society. Their choice can be contested by another Female Neko, but the Males do not have a choice. The Males are expected to be honored to be chosen. There are much fewer Females than Males in their society, leading to some Humans believing they are some sort of cloning birth race, but with differing genetics spliced in. The Females, since they are cherished, are expected to stay within the confines of their cities, and many have never seen the Humans. Female Nekos do not commonly have multiple tails, and those that do are even more cherished for their possibility to pass down their tailed genetics.
Their technology is powerful, on par with the Humans, though it is more magically driven. It is geared more towards defense than offense, and their offensive magics have to do with close range combat and speed, as well as stealth. Their tails, however many of them they may have, are all prehensile. Many Humans have mistaken them for monkeys for how they use the tails to swing through trees.
Their religion is to be one with Nature. To work with it, or it will fight against you at every turn. They believe strongly in Gaia, though they are not sad when her metals are forged. It is simply them giving her metals new shape and new use, not something to be sad about. They are protective over the animals of the land, as well as the flora, only taking as much as they need to live and be comfortable, but not overly so. They have certain members of society who Gaia has deemed worthy to talk to, and whether they are Male or Female, they are revered as near godly.
