Appearance: Shawn, a fair-skinned young man, stands at 6 feet even and weights in at 170 pounds. With a relatively athletic build, a square jaw and symmetrical features, he is considered to be objectively handsome. His chocolate brown hair and gray eyes are his most striking features. He tends to dress in a "semi-casual" manner as pictured above, dark jeans and button up shirts with the sleeves rolled up being his everyday average wear..


Biography: Shawn is a small town boy who used to work on his father's farm in his teens before moving out of his home country and into the big city to follow his education, where he adopted his current style of clothing and looks. Though he appears at first glance to have a firm grasp on the situation, he occasionally - as a result of his uprising as a French-Canadian countryside kid - slips up in his behavior (examples include; talking to himself, over-sharing, and being uncomfortably friendly even to relative unknowns). Back in high-school, he was considered to be a prodigal musician, playing the violin marvelously and this earned him large bursaries and his acceptance in a prestigious European academy... which unfortunately went towards his "city" clothing and flight there. To save up on money, he thus opted his best option was to split an apartment with someone else. The fact he's just recently arrived in Europe explains his lack of a job.

Appearance Description: Carl is a pale, lanky young man standing at 6 foot two and weighing 150 pounds. He has a long, thin face and mostly symmetrical features. His hair is a deep brown, while his eyes are a dark green. His usual clothes include cargo pants and a geeky T-Shirt featuring some image or slogan referencing popular culture or intellectual concepts like mathematics or science. When he's cold he wears a jacket, but usually won't go any further than zipping it up. True to form, these also often reference popular culture or intellectual ideas.


Biography: Carl grew up in the city, where and his parents and he didn't usually have much room to spare. This shows in his small personal space bubbles, and a slight discomfort in open spaces. He went to Academically Selective schools for most of his education, and thus has little experience around people of lesser intelligence than he is. Overall, his school life was happy, as there was no taunting for being intellectual when all those around were intellectual and it was easier to fit in. Due to his ADHD, he is often hyperactive, and he generally lives his life at a slightly faster pace than everyone else. It also means that he sometimes zones out and loses focus, and he is easily bored. However, this also provides him with a slightly different perspective on life, allowing for new areas of creativity. He has medication for it, but he doesn't take it unless he needs to focus on something, as he likes himself more when he is affected by his disorder. The day he decided to move out overseas to study was a sad day for his parents, but they sent him on with their best wishes, and they are proud of him. Now he is adjusting to a city on an entirely different scale to Sydney, as well as his schooling being in an entirely different environment. He has yet to find a job to support himself in his new home. Because of money restrictions, he has decided to split his apartment with another student, hoping that he will be one of his first friends, and thus an anchor of safety.
