tae's family has been in silver city since its
conception. the opportunity was great; the
city was shiny and magical... but that was
generations ago.

silver city is known by many names now--
tarnished city; city of glass; gilded paradise.
what was once a place of economic boon is
now a land for the rich to play, and the poor
to suffer.

tae's family hails from the lower levels of
the city. it is separated into tiers like a cake:
the wealthy on top, and the poor supporting
them from the bottom. his parents always
strived to be able to give him a good life, but
when he became a teenager, he realized it
was not possible. they were prisoners in
their own city.

that was until he met mr. [xxxxxxx]. they
met on a jobsite; tae a lowly worker, and he
the director of the project. something about
tae's demeanor must've struck him. upon
completion of the project, tae was offered a
chance at a position in his home.

the rest is history. tae works hard every
day of his life to make sure he never has to
work another laborious job again. he serves
the very people who oppress him, but there
is little other choice. he is content in his
position as a little dog-- at least he's off the
street.​

Brief Introduction

Luna Rhodes was born in one of the richest families in Silver City. Her father, Mr. Rhodes is her step-father. Long ago, Luna was just like all those lower class people, but her mother had always acted like she was rich. Which caught Mr. Rhodes' eye for a woman, eventually they got married into money. Luna has remembered those past times that she's not proud to show to her friends. So she eventually forgot about where she came from. Luna has numerous friends that are about the same class level as her, but not as rich as her family. Rhodes last name? Not Asian, Luna was born before Mr. Rhodes came into the family, and took the last name to be well-known.

The Rhodes family was kinda the second to the ultra-rich part of the city. The Halstead family managed to beat Luna’s family by $5 million an hour. Which was frustrating for the family. But Luna was happy nonetheless given what they have. A full house the Rhodes family used to live in. But the moment that each of them turned 16, they were given their own lot. So all 10 of Luna’s brothers lived on their own, and so did Luna, with her servant, Tae.
Being the only daughter in the family could be frustrating at times. And it’s only a matter of fact that she was different from the rest of her family, she was more calm, quiet, polite and grateful. Unlike her family body who were just possessed with a violent and bratty attitude, especially her parents.
Luna’s dad was very controlling of Tae, whenever he wasn’t contemptuous with the quality of Tae’s work, he would beat and starve the poor man. But Luna would sometimes leave some food for Tae by his door just in case. Her father would be especially mad whenever he found out and she got a worse punishment than him. But thankfully she was able to move out, so it’s just the two of them.
Today Luna had a packed day, she had to go to the Rhodes’ designer to help her mom out and she brought her friends with her. Around midnight, or what everyone says now, Silver’s Night, she came home exhausted. Luna went upstairs and changed into some loungewear. Then unexpectedly her uncle came to her house and visited. A very close friend of her dad’s, Nick Upton. She went to put food by Tae’s door before going to the living room to talk with her uncle.
“So…you’re the only daughter of Danny’s, and you’re doing quite well” Nick smiled as he sat on the couch, admiring Luna’s house, Danny, whom he mentioned was her father’s actual name but he’s more well-known for his name Mr. Rhodes. Luna smiled and sat on the other side of the couch, “yeah, working hard to become a prosecutor” she stated.
This made Nick’s eyes widen. “Wow, talk about the differences in the family,” he said with pride. The two of them talked for a good two hours. But as Luna was saying goodbye, she turned around and when she saw her uncle, he was motionless and lifeless on the ground, with a .9 mm bullet in his head. Luna bent down and looked desperately for her phone.
Then a cold hand touched her mouth and whispered a threat. But Luna couldn’t hear in all of the chaos in her head. Thankfully she learned self-defense, which really paid off in this situation. She tried her best to fight the masked man off, but she was pinned on the floor. Luna muffled a cry and that’s when the monstrous man took off out of the house. Luna looked at her dead uncle and sat beside him, clenching her stomach and crying…
