ORITHIUS.jpg
Name: Nádúr (Also known as Orithius Wyrmwood)

Age: Unknown - Has been living as an Elf for a few years
Nationality: Former Guardian of Ireland - has unofficially retired from the position

Race: Green Dragon
Appearance:
d464eb438f8a06c27e120ccf469394fb.jpg

For/Against the king: He is not aligned at the moment, but would most likely be against him was he aware of his actions.

Personality: Inquisitive, Focussed, Calm, Charming, Fair, Morally Apathetic

Backstory: Nádúr has always been the quiet one of his kin. Instead of the brash, ultraviolence so celebrated by his neighbours, he and his people have always been known to celebrate their lives in a more relaxed, contemplative manner. When angered they could, and have shown fury as few might ever survive, but preferred to spend their time contemplating those things that would, and according to them, should occupy the lives of the just and the good. Family, friends, life, and growth, in lieu loss, treachery, death and decay - Nádúr, a dragon of nature hoped to inspire those under his charge into embracing the kinder aspects of life, and in doing so, become greater for it. For hundreds of years, this was his charge. For hundreds of years, he believed that this would be what ultimately saved him and his people from a future of chaos. For hundreds of years, he had been foolish. Hope, undistilled by reason, was willing ignorance. Nature was not just creation... it was destructive. Cycles of interchanging decay and rebirth. Fire sometimes served just as well as fertiliser. Death served life just as life served it. Enlightened by this realisation, Nádúr escaped into isolation - into deep meditation on the nature of his own being, exploring aspects of himself which he had for too long ignored. Being, essentially immortal, he barely noticed time pass him by, as he took up the name of Orithius and started living as an elf among his people so that he might have the peace and quiet required to study his newfound realisations, and the powers that came with it. He has come to embrace the darkness, just as much as he once, embraced the light.

Powers/Abilities:

  • Touch of Decay/Creation - Grow or destroy flora of any type at an accelerated pace. He can have trees grow hundreds of years within a few minutes, and have vines and roots spurt from the ground. He can also have them rot as though without nourishment for years in a few seconds.
  • Breathe of Life/Death - He breathes out a massive cloud of microscopic spores that either heal those who breathe them in or effectively poisons them with a powerful neuro-paralytic agent, which interrupts breathing and suffocates the brain and body. The healing breath can counter this.
  • One with Nature - When in nature, he can become effectively invisible and undetectable as he can cover his scent and camouflage his body within the trees. He also does not need to eat or breathe as long as he is in direct sunlight for at least five/six hours a day, as he can absorb sunlight for energy and sustenance.
  • Biomancy - He can take biological matter, which still needs to be in a stable but simple form, and manipulate it into new forms - which he had then tend to like one would a plant. As such, he can at it's least invasive change the colour a plant will be when it blooms, or at it's most invasive - he can manipulate children while still developing in a womb, and change their traits - the scale of which is determined by the time spent on the project.
  • Speak with Animals - Communicate with Animals of All sorts, and they are Naturally Servile towards Nádúr.
  • Control Weather - He can control the weather in a one-mile radius around him, creating mists, increasing or decreasing humidity, causing light rains, or creating the sound of thunder.
  • Grand Regeneration - While near, or in contact with nature, he can regrow much of what he lost - including limbs and much of his body. If his entire form is destroyed, but the forests around where he was destroyed remain, he will be reborn within ten days from among the trees.
Weaknesses:
  • Nature Dependency - He needs to be around earth, grass, or some other source of natural resource, otherwise, his powers are severely diminished.
  • Physically Frail - He cannot really take on another dragon in physical combat, and will need to use evasive manoeuvres to try and subdue the other before taking too much damage.
  • His constitution makes him resilient against any diseases and poisons, but he does not have a great amount of stamina, and as such can only really fight for shorts bursts - if he is within nature, this weakness is almost completely nullified.
Likes: Gardening, Art, Music, Reading, Science, History, Beauty, Food, Wine

Dislikes: Bravado, Rage, Stupidity, Wastefulness, Destruction without Cause, Cities

Name:
Ddraig, the Welsh dragon (Also known as Tân Goch)

Age:
Unknown

Nationality:
Guardian of Wales

Race:
Red dragon

Appearance:
5f50c9ceb1f7672bbc6552550d3a49d1--fantasy-creatures-mythical-creatures.jpg

For/Against the king:
Strongly against

Personality:
Ddraig personality is exactly what you would expect from a fire dragon. Hot headed and short tempered. He is Arrogant and sarcastic. Yet, he cares for the people of all nations and keeps them all under his protection despite his main interest being Wales, his dominion. He is not all blood and war though, he does have love in his heart both for the people of the kingdom and a certain person dear to his heart.

Backstory:
Ddraig has always been at the front of challenges, if the Welsh were to fight a war, he would be there (albeit under his alter ego mostly). He feel deeply in love with the Scottish dragon, her beauty knowing no equal in his mind. He loved her greatly and wished to one day merge the two countries so that they may join in their protective duties of them.

In recent years he has spent his time amassing a great amount of coin and has built himself a large castle in the small town of Caerphilly. This castle was once destroyed by Gwyber, greatly enraging Ddraig and causing a bloody war between the two, which ultimately ended in a humiliating defeat for the white dragon. His love tried to calm Ddraig but inevitably failed, leading to the end of their relationship.
The other dragons believe this is why Gwyber seeks revenge and is assisting The King and also why there is such animosity between the two dragons.

Once he had realised that his love had left him, and that he could not follow, Ddraig flew into a fiery rage. Plumes of fire erupted from previously extinct volcanoes, lands dried up, the rivers turned to naut and a drought never seen before held the land in its grasp, . The Welsh people believed it to be the end. Realising that the destruction he had caused, and was still causing, was the sole reason for his broken heart, Ddraig repaired the damage (with the help of the Irish dragon) and receeded into his castle. He has remained there since. Some say that they have seen a man cloaked in flames, stood at the edge of the coastline, calling out the name of his lost love.

Ddraig resides at the castle at all times and due to the size of it only a few have ever seen him. There are rumours around why his alter ego never ages but these have never been proven. Once a year the banquet of flames is held in the castle which draws in travellers from around the nation who enjoy strong drinks and fine foods. All paid for by Ddraig himself. Ddraig has attempted to leave the castle to put an end to the king and Gwyber but has been stopped on many occasions but his close personal friend, a national hero. Though he won’t be stopped for much longer.

Ddraigs main goal in life is to explore the nature of fire, it’s destructive power and how it has shaped human evolution. He wishes to understand how his flames may be a force for good as well as destruction. Maybe this will regain him the love he has lost.

Powers/Abilities:

The ever-flame:
The fire that Ddraig breathes of hot enough to melt almost any substance. Once it has left Ddraig’s body it can only be quenched by himself and the Scottish dragon.

Pyroclastic touch:
At will, Ddraig can touch something and turn it to ash. This is not a quick and painless death, it is agonising and slow, burning the body from outside to in.

Fire manipulation:
Ddraig can create and absorb fire. He can also change its size and intensity. Essentially he can turn a campfire into a burning inferno by simply clicking his fingers. Also, when absorbing fire, it allows Ddraig to regenerate.

Father of the roaring flame:
When around fire, Ddraig becomes stronger physically. It is once said whilst standing in a forest fire Ddraig became so strong he shaped a whole mountain range.

Drought:
By flapping his wings Ddraig can cause great winds and plumes of ash similar to a pryoclastic flow. This is unnavoidable and anything in its path turns it to solid ash

Weaknesses:
-Water is like acid to Ddraig and is extremely painful when he comes into contact with it. You will never see him out in the rain.

-Ddraig is extremely brash and will rush head long into any situation believing he can solve the problem. Even though he may be dragon he is not a god.
-Not of a strategic mind. Ddraig does not have strategy when faced with problems, he has only one solution: burn it.
-Needs to regularly absorb fire or he becomes weakened.

-Fire
-Banquets
-Alcohol
-Fine foods
-Castles
-Ballads of his great deeds

Dislikes:

-Water
-Rain
-Things that don’t burn
-Strategy

Name: Peigi Murron

Age: 28

Nationality: Scottish

Race: Half - selkie

For/Against the king: Against

Personality: Peigi is a cold kind of person, most likely due to the poor relationship she had with her father when she was young. She often is unable to control her passions and finds herself lashing out irrationally. She is also very prideful and does not take insults well.

Backstory: Peigi's mother was a selkie, whose sealskin was stolen by Peigi's father. This forced her to become his wife, and they had Peigi not long after. But the girl found the hidden sealskin by accident when she was young and gave it to her mother, who immediately returned to the sea, never to be seen again. Peigi's father was never the same, blaming her for ruining his life and taking away the woman he loved. She left as soon as she was old enough, unable to stand the sheer resentment her father showed toward her. Soon after she left, wandering the seashores, her mother confronted her and gave her her own sealskin, which she is able to use whenever she wants.

Powers/Abilities:

Sealskin: When Peigi puts on the dappled gray rubbery skin her mother gave her, it transforms her into a seal. When she is on dry land, she is then able to remove it.

Water Runes: Peigi has dabbled in water magic and is able to use magic-imbued objects, such as runes carved on a stone, to cast this type of magic.

Selkie Song: Singing this ancient tune dulls the senses of everyone around Peigi, giving her an advantage on the battlefield.

Weaknesses:
-Peigi drinks a lot of water. Like, a lot.
-While physically strong, Peigi is strongest near bodies of water.
-Peigi and hot weather don't mix very well.

Name:
Gwyber the Dragon of Ice, also known as Ana'te Faladel

Age:
"It is quite rude to ask a lady of her age." - Ana'te Faladel

Nationality:
English

Race:
Ice Dragon

Appearance:
glam_affair2-1-jpg.385882

For/Against the king:
For the King

Personality:
Ana'te has throughout history been called 'The Iron Woman'. She is not someone who likes to play games, and she is perhaps the most feared among the dragons that roam the planet. Because of her status as a protector and guardian of England, as well as that of other kingdoms - she has no time for foolishness. She will put anyone she meets in their place should she feel the need, often using her quick and poisonous tongue. This she does with a civilized and polite rapport - as she values respect and abhors rudeness, listening to their positions before inevitably choosing her own as superior - whether it truly is or not. Her beauty and strength have given her confidence in herself, but her need to improve herself often leads her to challenges that could lead to her downfall. This she realizes. but her stubborn need to affirm herself often overrides reason. It also means that she hates being told what to do, and will often do the opposite out of spite. Her more animalistic nature shows through in combat, where she is merciless, cold and resilient - never sparing an opponent her wrath, save when they have information she requires or when she sees further use in them. Over her lifetime she has developed a social tolerance for some, and will sometimes attempt to reign in her rage when slighted. This is partly due to her innermost desires to be of use, and have someone to care for and be cared for. Her life has not allowed her that luxury, and as such - she has suppressed her emotions and needs in lieu a stony, icy visage. This calm and controlled personality has proven to be very effective in manipulating others, especially humanoid men, who find her persona strange and intriguing, something which she has learned to manipulate and utilize to it's fullest. Some have even come to consider it a curse, avoiding interactions with her in fear of falling trap to her charms.

Backstory:
Before dragons were known to the world, still fragments of myth and fiction - all of them were born in fire. At least in the minds of those who spoke of them. To them then, the still young Ana'te, who was born wreathed in black, slowly turning white with age - remained a curiosity for many years. Terrible stories of her nature spread like wildfire, some attributing the slowly rescinding darkness to her birth - lingering ashes of whatever hellfire she must have spawned from, giving way to the icy terror beneath. It took her many years to develop a more wholesome reputation, fighting stigma by serving as protector and guardian of her country. Her brilliant strategic mind led England to many a victory, and her courage and confidence seemed to catch among those she led. Eventually, she was counted among brave England was known for, serving as a knight in service of the crown. This continued for many years... until a new threat rose against her homeland. Her retribution was swift - leading an ambush under the cover of the night against Wales - and their own fiery champion.

The attack was a disaster, and she quickly lost almost half of her force. Having served with them for many years, she had come to think of them as a family - and their loss turned her heart cold, for there was no glory to be found in their slaughter. Cold, seething vengeance clouded her mind and soul, and she took up a crusade against her enemy, laying waste to their lands, their people and their leaders. A cold blizzard seemed to stretch over the country, an ever-expanding wasteland heading towards the domain of the Red Dragon. Eventually, she arrived and destroyed his domain, burying those within in ice, and rending its walls to the ground. No amount of destruction seemed to still the hurricane inside her, and she returned to her country - bringing ill fortune along with the ill tidings of the war. Before long she sided with King Marik, killing Edward - becoming an icy instrument of death for the stolen crown. Her cold demeanour lost her the respect of her people, and her merciless nature branded her a monster among both her victims and wards. This seeming betrayal further hardened her heart, undermining any and all affections she might have had for them before. No longer does she show her light to the world, wallowing in shadows instead - serving a king who seems to have far to great a level of sway over her- whether by magic or not, few now remain who still held hope of her redemption.

Powers:
Freezing - "... to reduce the kinetic energy of atoms, thereby lowering temperature." Also, she can freeze just about anything that she freezes anything that is living and non-living. And can create temperatures that can range from 30 degrees to below 0.

Cryokinetic Constructs - she has the power to create any weapon, armour, a barrier of her choice that is made of ice.

Abilities:
Enhanced Endurance - she tries to feel no pain, it is only after a couple of repeated shots thrown at her, then she will start to feel weak. But she will fight until her last breath.

Enhanced Senses are like any other dragons, she can see far better than any human and from a distance as well. She has a heightened sense of smell, taste, touch, and hear.

Memory Reading- she has the ability to tap into her targets most recent or most hidden memory and view it. She does this by simply touching the targets and allowing herself to enter into their memory.

Ice Breath - she can emit a cold and often freezing breath and often uses it to freeze her opponent (or when she wants to cool down her tea faster, hehe)

Weaknesses:
- She can't be in a place that is hot for too long, or else she becomes weaker because she can't stand high temperatures.

- With the whole ice breath, ability, she can exhale a freezing temperature of wind for only 10 minutes and then gets a winded out, which is why she rarely uses it.

Likes:
-Animals
-Tea (obsessed)
-Food (maniac)
-Weapons/Combat
-Music
-Reading

Dislikes:
-People
-The Red Dragon
-Spiders (she absolutely despises them)
-War
-People who try to go against her

Theme(Optional):

Extras:
She has a scar on her back which is from the Red Dragon, but of course, nobody has seen this before because heaven and hell both know that she won't let a single person come out alive if they've seen this on her bareback. (Also it reminds her of what happened in the past)

Alexa Day

--Age--
16

--Nationality--
1/2 Japanese || 1/2 Welsh

--Race--
Human

--Appearance--
353bc3e80066c2fd36e97ff384a873f8.jpg

--For/Against the king--
"Noooo, of course I won't be against that motherfucker who killed off my mother..."

-Alexa using sarcasm

--Personality--
Alexa Day is a cocky, bitchy, mischievous, jackass brat who is also a pest. She's very witty and tends to use jokes to break the ice. Sometimes, it doesn't go as planned. Alexa does not believe in love. If she feels that emotion, she'll do full "tsundere" and deny that she's in love. She does not have sympathy or pity. When she was younger, no one cared about her, so why should she care about them?

Alexa's cockiness is sometimes a good thing and a bad thing. Her opponent get's confused because she's so cocky. Her opponent then loses their confidence. However, sometimes it's a bad thing. One day, her cockiness will hurt her pride. Her fatal flaw is her cockiness and arrogance.

Alexa is a jackass because she's not very smart, actually. She doesn't have booksmarts. She does, however, have street smarts which makes up for it. She's clever in her own way.

She's also mischievous. She creates chaos wherever she goes. She's a troublemaker.

--Backstory--
Alexa Day used to be an energetic, outgoing child. She had friends, and everybody loved her. Her family was perfect. Sure, they had some flaws, but that's what made them perfect. Victoria Day was the best mother she had. She was a tailor. She gave Alexa her necklace, an important necklace that was passed around in her family for generations. Apparently, it gives the owner "protection". Alexa never believed in that, but she kept the necklace, since it was special. Her father, Roy Day, was a blacksmith. He was the best father, ever. She got her love of making stuff from Roy. Her sister, Abigal, was the best sister ever. They would do mischievous acts together, play together, and even prank others together. Everything was perfect, until the king's bandits attacked.

You see, Alexa was playing with her sister with a few fireworks. Accidentally, she lit a firework, making them visible to the bandits. The bandits saw the fireworks, and immediately chose that village to attack. The bandits stole food, money, etc. and kidnapped women and children to sell. Abigaal was actually a victim, and her parents pleaded and begged them not to take Abigaal.

They earned an arrow to the skull.

Alexa was not a victim. In tears, she decided to avenge her family, and kill the bandits. She saw a bow and took some arrows from her father's office, and she decided to draw the string to kill them. She was unable to do so, after all, she was only eight. Instead, she decided to grab a dagger and stick it in their hearts. She decided to take them on by surprise. When they weren't paying any attention, she would run in and stab them.

It worked.

In tears, she was covered in blood, looking at the dead bodies. She started blaming herself for everything that happened. If only she wasn't playing with fireworks! If only she didn't take the protective necklace, she would've been dead and not her family. "It's all my fault!" she would cry. She remembered that day very well. Why? Oh, 'cause she has Eidetic Memory. She was traumatized over the event, and that she actually killed people.

A kind twenty-five year old man named Alistair took her in. There, she was trained. She was trained many types of fighting techniques and such. He showed her how to fight with bows, knives, and swords. She trained her Eidetic Memory into something bigger: Photographic memory. She then found out she was a witch, or a magic-user when she was ten. No, she was a rhyming witch. She tried practicing magic in secret, but she hated it, and preferred hand-to-hand combat. She soon got over her trauma, since she believed that Alistair loved her, and she loved him. However, she still have a piece of that memory of that night in her head. She still believes that it was all her fault.

Because she loved him, she ran away five years after. Alistair was such a kind man, yet he did not have enough money to even feed themselves. Heck, he could barely even feed himself. She didn't want Alistair to suffer, so when she found out about it, she ran. She ran far and far, living as a homeless person.

No one looked for her. Not even Alistair. She started to believe that he didn’t care if she fell and died in a ditch.

Alexa then started her life in crime. She stole many items to survive, included food, clothes, and even money. She was never caught. For four years, she lived that type of life. Since she’s never been caught, her self esteem went up. What did you expect? Of course she’s going to get cocky!

Her emotions like pity and sympathy started to fade away. No one cared for her, so why should she care for them? That’s just how her mindset worked.

Alexa started to enjoy stealing and such. It started to be her source of amusement. She knew a lot of information, like who’s going where at what time, if the fabrics' quality is good, etc. She became an important source for criminals. Name it, she has it. Kill her, all hell breaks loose.

However, when she realized that the new king had been killing off magical beings, she was furious. Some of her friends were magical beings.. and it hit her. Her mother was killed because she was a magical being. She was a witch, which the king hated. They didn't hesitate to kill her mother.

Alexa was furious and angry. She decided to hunt the king down and kill him with her bare hands and claim revenge.

Little did she know she had became an antihero.

Powers/Abilities:
o Fire Manipulation
o Photographic Memory
o Witch Magic - Magic
o Elemental Combat

--Weaknesses--
Acrophobia
Alexa has Acrophobia, or the fear of heights. She cannot stand heights, even if she's like seven feet from the ground.
Cockiness
Seriously, dude, this woman might lose her pride one day. Her fatal flaw is being too cocky, actually.
Inability to feel Pity or Sympathy
Some may say this isn't a weakness, but it actually is. Just because of her inability to have pity or sympathy, she might end up killing someone, or even worse.
Bringing Her Past Up
If you mess with her past, she'll completely break. She'll believe everything that happened was her fault. She would go null and stunned, making her opponent easy to attack her.

o Sweets
o Food in General
o Stealing

o Heights
o Bitter Foods

Name:
Uisce, Dragon of Water, also known as Synastraea V'hir (Vih-hear)
Age:
Unknown
Nationality:
Guardian of Scotland
Race:
Blue Dragon
Appearance:
Drachen-Grusskarte-Age-Of-Dragons-Water-Dragon-Anne-Stokes_600x600.jpg

For/Against the king:

Against
Personality:
Uisce, like any dragon guardian, will fight like a storm to protect what she cares about, however, she tends to stay calm in most situations. Residing mostly deep underwater, she has begun to take on its characteristics. Patient, kind, peaceful. However, she is also a force to be reckoned with, unrelenting in a fight over what she believes in.
Backstory:
Uisce, unlike most other dragons, is revered with respect, rather than fear. Before the war, she often interacted with the people of Scotland, hoping to assist them in any way. And because of her relationship with the dragon of Wales, she often did the same for his people. She loved watching those around her enjoy life. Seeing what they created, built and discovered was her daily routine. And she loved Ddraig as well. With all her heart, she cared for him, hoping to one day unite their people and guard them together. However, fate did not agree.

Gwyber, the ice dragon, led a fierce attack on her love's lands. And while she agreed with fighting back, she did not agree to which the extent Ddraig did. His fierceness in battle had always been something she admired him for, but this time, it frightened her. So she ran. Back to Scotland, back to her home, back to where he could not follow. The sea. For many moons, it rained in Scotland. Floods and storms were common, however Uisce, too broken-hearted to reveal herself, remained deep under the water, secluding herself from the world.

Townsfolk near the sea often speak tales of a maiden, more beautiful than the ocean horizon, who is only seen once every few years. She appears mysteriously and disappears just as quick as she came. Where she once would have cared as the world falls into destruction by the hands of Gwyber and the king, she does not. Because her world had already crumbled.
Powers/Abilities:
-Water shot (Rather than breathing an element, she can shoot water at bullet speeds)
-Water Manipulation
-Fog/Mist Manipulation
-Enhanced Speed/Agility (Due to the anatomy of her wings & tail)
-Underwater breathing
-Water barriers (Block various magics and slow down physical objects)
-Aura Sensing (She can sense different presences and intentions)

Weaknesses:
- Ice, it counters most of her abilities
- She has a habit of putting herself in danger if it means saving those she cares about
-She can be a bit naive, always trying to see the good in others which
sometimes comes back to bite her
-Her water barriers can't block most physical weapons, but can slow them down

Likes:
-Rain/Water
-Music
-Quiet
-New things

Dislikes:
-War
-Fighting
-Pollution/litter

Extras:
She is the only one who can subdue Ddraig's flames, other than himself

He's also very courageous and bold, and will never back down from a fight, especially a fight between him and Alexa. He's extremely loyal and will never break a promise or vow. He is also very dependable. He may seem like an impossible task to befriend him, but really, he's a sweet guy.

--Backstory--
Eren was born in the same village as Alexa. He was interested in her mischievous behavior, and they quickly became friends. He never really knew his family well, actually. It's all a... blur. So he stayed at an orphanage.

When the village was attacked, he saw the king's crest on their uniforms, and immediately realized that they are the king's bandits. The bandits killed all the magical people in this world, and they targeted Eren. However, Alexa had killed them just in time.

Eren felt changes in his body. He was stronger... quicker.. and had sharp teeth. He also had an unusual craving for blood. So he had come to a conclusion one night, because he let his hunger get the best of him.

He was a vampire.

He told Alexa about it, and she was didn't care.

Alexa was found by a man, who Eren did not know. However, he visited the house at times. Finally, she decided to run away, and she did, along with Eren. They had many adventures together... and he was her partner in crime.

When she heard that the bandits were the king and that the king had murdered her family, she was furious. She wanted to kill the king with her bare hands. So, she turned to Eren, her only friend. She asked him if he wanted to tag along, and he was happy to. The king killed her--his friend's family, so he was more than happy to help her out.

Name:
Alexandria von Wolf

Age:
40

Nationality:
English

Race:
Human

For/Against the king:
Strongly Against

Personality:
Inspirational: The Word that best Describes this Grizzled Knight.
Alexandria make come off as stern and slow to trust at first, but she is nothing like that. She is a kind and caring woman who has a strong sense of honor and justice. She is the Hero of England, but is extremely humble and never brags about herself. The woman is quite intelligent and thinks fast. She attempts to be comedic but sometimes falls flat on her face with her jokes though her sarcasm and witty retorts are a danger to all. Normally she is cool and collected, but she can be angered if she sees an injustice be committed. Once on the battlefield, she becomes almost an entirely different person. She is sadistic, disregards all life and morals and is extremely vulgar. She reveals her true self on the battlefield, the Alexandria that she hates so much. Lastly, the woman is extremely loyal and has a strong set of morals and ideals. Betray her and you will make a deadly enemy.

Backstory:
Alexandria was born into a family of nobles, one known for its impressive swordsmanship and strong sense of honor. For generations her family were famous knights that served the King as body guards, champions and advisors. Alexandria would be no different either, and took high aspirations placed on her with stride and pride.

From the age of five and onward she began to learn how to use a sword from her father, William. She was adept at it and quickly mastered the basics of swordsmanship. Throughout her early childhood she would spend her days with her father, as her mother had passed away at birth. Apparently she was the better swordsman between herself and Alexandria's father.

At the age of fourteen Alexandria became a squire for her father's friend, a knight by the name of Lance. Alexandria would learn a great deal from her mentor, and the two would become inseparable in due time.

William was the person that made Alexandria, but Lance was the one that molded her into what she is now. He shared a strong sense of justice and was an idealist, and these beliefs would rub off on the impressionable Alexandria. Lance was also the knight that made her into the swordsman she is now, having her go through rigorous training to hone her speed and increase her stamina. The two would be Knight and Squire for nearly ten years before Lance was murdered. Alexandria was gravely affected by his death and would hunt down his killer. She'd torture the man for three straight days before killing him and avenging her mentor. She felt at ease with the killer dead, but could not stop her sadistic urges.

Alexandria then became a full fledged knight at the age of twenty-five. This would allow Alexandria to carry out her sense of justice and ideals, but also allowed her to occasionally sate her sadistic urges through punishing criminals. Through time, Alexandria would gain a reputation for her swordsmanship and speed earning her the nickname of The Lightening Swordsman. She was known for being efficient and taking any sort of task to help aid those in need. Whether it be slaying a pack of wolves or helping an old woman to the market, she'd do anything to help.

Five years would pass and Alexandria would continue to carry out her knightly duties. She would take on a squire whose name was Arthur. He was a brazen young lad with a certain fire in him. He reminded Alexandria greatly of Lance, and eventually she began a relationship with her squire. The two were madly in love, the first and last time Alexandria ever felt that way about someone. Sadly, it would not last long, as he would end up getting himself killed trying to help an old man.

Arthur's death hit Alexandria harder than Lance's, as Alexandria had no real way of avenging her lover. She could not avenge him, and had no one to take out her grief on. Alexandria would become depressed for some time, but eventually with time, her broken heart mended itself. She would pick herself up and continue her knightly duties. Of course this was a mere distraction for herself, as her heart would probably never truly heal.

At the age of Forty, Alexandria had become one of England's Heroes. She had saved the Kingdom on numerous occasions and was a close friend of King Edward. After King Edward's death, Marik attempted to assassinate Alexandria, as she was known to be a strong ally of Edward. The attempt failed with Alexandria quickly killing off the two assassins. She would quietly leave the capitol and distance herself from politics and Marik's regime. She now wanders the countryside, helping wherever she can. She knows that when the time came, she will strike down the usurper and avenge her fallen king.

Powers/Abilities:
A Thousand Blades:
An ability given such a name must be quite grandiose, but this ability is not so. She cannot create a thousand blades, she is not Emiya. Merely she is extremely quick, and with this ability she can cut down a group of foes in a single strike, making it appear as though she has a thousand blades at her disposal.

Wolf Whisper: Alexandria has the ability to befriend wolves and is even able to communicate with these noble beasts. She is so adept that she can easily tame these beasts and use them in battle.

Master Swordsman: Alexandria has been a Knight practically since birth and was taught how to wield a sword since the age of five. She has devoted her life to this singular weapon, and is renowned as one of the best.

Enhanced Speed, Stamina and Agility: Alexandria is regarded as The Lightening Swordsman due to her quickness and reflexes. She is deadly fast and hard to keep up with and due to her quickness she has built up an impressive reserve of stamina.

anime_devushka_gotika_glaza_15108_1024x768.jpg
(arazel as her usual self. her form as one will see changes entirely when she is forced to battle. )

Name: arazel silversoul

Age: 19 (do NOT let her appearances fool you)

Nationality: ireland

Race: unknown, arazel's kind has long since been forgotten after an ancient war before the forging of the four kingdoms had torn apart her homeland. though arazel refers to herself as a zyloran

Appearance:

(as seen above)

For/Against the king: unknown. arazel prefers to remain neutral. it is not yet known if she would rather side with or against the king.

Personality: arael is generally very unpredictable when it comes to her personality. but when one would observe her she is generally quiet and keeps to herself despite her appearance. although very hard to become friends with arazel. if one succeeds they may find she can be quiet the talkative girl.

Backstory:
arazel has a very troubled and dark past. although arazel was once a girl that loved to interact with others, it had all changed when her village was attacked and mercilessly destroyed by the ravages of a war that had occured years before ireland was brought to its current state. she had lost everyhting she ever knew. including her mother, amara silversoul. at the age of only ten years old arazel had been left alone . wandering through the lush and dense lands of irelands natural environment to fend for herself. having developed a heightened sense of sight hearing and smell . arazel has survived solely on these three natural abilities. arazel still wanders the lands of irelaand even now. searching for a family that might call her their own. now nineteen years old. arazel is currently living in a forest of ireland called bran-bai. a forest of immense beauty. bountiful fruit. and also dangerous predatory creatures. (more shall be revealed within roleplay if that will be acceptable)

Powers/Abilities:
arcane force: judgement rain| a high level yet simple and easy to use attack . the attack is so named due to the fact that it rains down a spread of arcane daggers, upon which will explode, or have harmful effects on arazels opponent if they draw too close. the attack can have many forms. but the dagger rain is the mst common

specialisation. soulbeam of nova| a specialisation attack. when used it allows arazel to fire a concentrated blast beam of pure "nova" energy. an energy that is rumored to be drawn from the very stars themselves. how arazel manages to power this attack is not known for certain. but it may have to do with arazels own soul.

wrath of nova: hellfire star|so far arazels most powerful attack known. and only a last resort. arazel will leap high into the air and charge energy into her own body for this powerful blast implosion. requiring her to use herself as the weapon. the attack itself does not in anyway harm arazel herself. but it still takes a great toll on her ability nd capacity to fight. as it uses a very large amount of her mana. the resulting blast of hellfire star is not fire at all. but a concentrated and overcharged implosion blast of nova energy, the attack is said to have the same force as a super nova. but once again it is not known for certain. as noone left alive has been able to pass on any observations thatmay have been made

blood of life, twisted nova: a rather very unusual mixture of blood AAND arcane magic. when used it allows arazel to "freeze" herself in a small time-lapse bubble. stopping time for her but in a rather unusual way, so unusual in the fact it "heals" her wounds

enhanced speed, strength and endurance: arazel has, over the course of her time in the wilderness of ireland. grown to have an enhanced level of speed.and physical strength. allowing arazel to take on tougher and more stronger opponents and or obstacles she may encounter. it is through these battles she has grown to be increasingly more durable. and it is this combination that makes her a formidable foe in battle.

Weaknesses: wrath of nova: hellfire star due to the amount of power arazel places into this powerful attack. the setback of this is that when the attack finishes. arazel is left completely vulnerable. as she does not yet know how to use her magic powers entirely. most of her powers are locked. and there fore inaccessible to her
dark magics. arazel is weak to dark magics. as the energy the attacks of dark magic seem to have cause negative efffects such as disorientation .

Likes:painting, music, nature, gemstones, roses, meat, ESPECIALLY likes fish (no she is not a neko)/ drawing, exploring,
seems to enjoy building things with her magic, also likes fishing. as there is a lake next to her home in the forests of ireland (one might be able to befriend arazel if they brought her a rose)

Dislikes: hates being called a demon ESPECIALLY a demon, hates when her artwork or paintings are ruined, seems to dislike it when people go near her home. a large cloister made of trees entirely made of crystal. it is rumored that arazel made the tree with her magic by infusing crystals in the local area.

Theme(Optional):

Extras: arazel preffers to fight with daggers, swords, and a scythe for close combat. arazel seems to always carry around a small toy that is as big as a human arm. it looks like a small girl made of crystal. but the toy itself looks as though. it MIGHT just be a girl that was turned to such a state by arazel or someone else

Name: Yael Cavan

Age: 24

Nationality: Irish

Race: Human

Appearance: Yael is a woman of average height and build, save for her bosom which is larger than the average. Her hair is silver and almost unkempt when let down, but is kept in a high ponytail. Her eyes are golden like honey and her lips are soft and peach like. Her skin is a very pale white, almost sickly in nature due to her Irish heritage. Often, she is seen wearing her Guardian robe, which is a long article of clothing that obscures her entire body, even down to her ankles. It is woven with arcane threads that prevent the robes from decay, filth, and certain damages. The robe itself is a dull brown, like soil, and has a hood near the top along with a shoulder cape.

For/Against the king: Against

Personality: Calm and reserved. Often in quiet contemplation. Very passionate about the dragons and protecting them. Unnerved easily.

Backstory: Yael was born a prodigy of the arcane and gifted with its enigmatic secrets as if it were common sense. Her childhood was simple, even to her parents confusion of magic. She went to an academy to hone her powers, only to learn that she didn't need to hone anything: she could innately control the arcane. The matter was learning to control herself. She was presented with the invitation of joining the Guardians -- people chosen to protect the British Isles from harm using their innate prowess -- as an Archmage at the age of 18 and took up their offer. For 5 years, she studied to become one and learn of the spells they specialized in. At 24, Yael became the youngest Archmage to become a Guardian. Now, with the threat of the world's end due to a fearsome dragon, Yael steps forth as a defender of the isles.

Powers/Abilities: Arcane Manipulation - Yael can weave and use the mystical plane to her desire, transmuting energy into power. Such examples are an orb of energy that swirls like a black hole, a barrage of magic missiles that seek foes, and a powerful blast of magic targeted directly at her opponent.

Magical Barrier Creation - As a Guardian, protection is key. To Yael, a good Archmage needs offense and defense equally. To this end, she can create strong barriers, woven like shields and strong as steel, to protect her allies and friends. These can be simple wards placed around allies or, when desperate times call, a large barrier that consumes her own energy and life force to protect everyone in it.

Weaknesses: Being a Mage, Yael is susceptible to melee attackers, having no good way to defend herself upclose. Due to the volatile nature of the arcane, one can try to overload her with energy. Lastly, if a Mage is silenced due to an outside force, their link to the mystical plane will be cut off temporarily, leaving them vulnerable.

Likes: Magic, dragons, women, robes.

Dislikes: Evildoers, the king of England, most species of rats.

Theme(Optional):

Extras: Yael is totes a lesbian.

For/Against the king:
Slightly Against

Personality:
Marx, a grizzled veteran, is experienced even for his age in the ways of life as a mercenary. He is rather distrusting and careful around others, often even leaning to outright pessimism. He is not easily tricked or manipulated due to his suspicious nature and does not fall easily to the feminine charms either, however the latter is more influenced by the fact that he no longer feels safe to engage in such interactions given his curse.

Whilst he is somewhat kind deep down, he will usually only look out for himself, serving his own motives and desires. However, money talks and Marx will not hesitate to serve those that pay the highest price, a staple for those that work in his profession. Of course, his loyalty always lies with the job and he will not betray those who have already paid him, meaning he cannot be bought out of a mission by a higher bid. First come first serve, as they say, Marx can be trusted once you have him in your pocket - a trait revealing his hidden morals that otherwise remain hidden. He is ruthless in his work and tends to have little sympathy for those who are unfortunate in life, including if a job requires him to kill innocents. He might not like it, but money is money after all.

Backstory:
Marx's story is one of violence, vengeance, victory and venerability. Born in Scotland to a bounty hunter and a local whore, Marx was left with his mother for the majority of his younger life to live as a street urchin vying for money or things to interest him. It was only years later when his mother was slain by the hand of a drunk foreigner, likely dissatisfied with her services. Angered by this, Marx followed the man to the inn he was staying at and snuck in through the back stables late at night. Sneaking into the foreigner's room, he killed the man in his sleep in cold blood using a kitchen knife he'd found downstairs.

Of course, he was found out. It seemed as though his entire life had been one big error of judgement after another. The innkeeper captured him to turn over to the authorities, but when they arrived it came to light that the man Marx had murdered was actually a wanted criminal with a high bounty over his head. The reward was held in Marx's name until he was old enough to claim it.

At least, it would have if not for another error of misjudgement came waltzing into his life again. Marx's father; apparently having heard of his son's unbelievable feat, had returned to see his child. Resent and bad blood brewed between the two when they met for the first time, but this didn't seem to matter much to the bounty hunter. He took Marx and claimed the reward in his name, then travelling far into the country towards mountainous terrain. There he began training Marx, deeming him worthy enough to continue the family business. "The boy can kill, he had the guts to push down the knife after all, and that's always the first step in this line of work."

Years went by. Marx trained with the sword. He accompanied his father on jobs. Assassinations, theft, monster slaying, money laundering, wars, couriering; you name it, Marx and his father could be bought into doing it. And experience came with doing it yourself; so Marx was never allowed to shy away from the gore, the depravity, the shame in his new profession. Upon becoming a man at the age of 18, Marx, on a solo mission this time, lost his left eye to a tricky assassin from Ireland who was attempting to claim the same target as him. Perhaps it was a lucky shot, but the assassin ended up worse off. However, the Irishman did leave behind one gem for Marx with his death: his eyeball.

It seemed to have held magical properties when Marx had fought the man, but of course Marx had no magic himself. And yet, when he leaned close to the assassin's face to get a closer look, the eye leapt up at him, socketing itself in the place of his missing left eye. It was then that the extent of its magical abilities became apparent. When Marx showed it to his father upon return, the man seemed genuinely shocked for the first time since Marx's conception. It took a few years to master its use, but by then Marx was already a seasoned warrior.

A few years later, Marx had undergone another mission with his father to track down a rampaging brute in England that was apparently terrorising the local towns and even cities. The battle was tough, especially given the ridiculous gap in physical prowess between the brute and the two Hawthornes. His father sustained a grievous injury, permanent, and would be unlikely to fight again. Marx was injured, but nothing serious. The brute's dying words were a family name, one that Marx remembered: it was one that belonged to a certain Irish assassin he'd traded eyes with several years ago. It seemed the man was a relative.

Marx was fuelled by rage. His father, his teacher, his goddamn master was dead, having succumbed to his wounds. Marx had been robbed of his left eye and been left with an unpredictable and uncontrollable power that was prone to random outbursts. After consulting an information broker he often worked with named Zava, Marx had also discovered that the drunk that had killed his mother had also been related to the same family. That decided it. He sought revenge. Tracking down the family name of those who had hurt him, Marx travelled to Ireland.

Upon arrival in the territory of the family, Marx did not let loose any mercy, he did not concede any pity. They died, they all died. His sword rose and fell in the blood and smoked stained air, the stench intoxicating him as he murder men, women and children indiscriminately. Eventually, the highest ranking family member, the grandfather of it all, appeared. They fought. In his final dying act, he placed a malicious curse upon Marx's body to ensure he never lived life as a normal person again so that he may forever suffer the burden of his sins. Marx was 33 at the time when his body stopped aging and ceased to exist in its human form.

And from there, Marx simply continued on with his work. One day, he hoped to find a way to rid himself of the curse placed on his body and perhaps even atone for his atrocious acts. Until then, he would simply work for a better quality of life. To that end, he soon found himself in the employ of Marik. While he disliked the man's methods, he was in no position to judge given his past and, well, money is money after all.

Equipment:
Devourer - This sword is nearly as durable as dragon scales. It may suck up the blood of those its cuts and convert it into magical energy to be used as attacks or for storage. Wounds made by this sword can be opened into slightly larger ones, causing more damage after the initial strike, at the expense of some blood magic energy.
ce71e3135ed473721e97a4fa56673fe9.jpg

Ghostwalker - This sword is nearly as durable as dragon scales and is lighter/longer than the previous. It may temporarily phase through physical matter (but not magical) and can create phantom strikes around a target area, attacking an enemy from an unexpected angle or from behind, for example. Requires magical energy to be poured into it for use.

Powers/Abilities:
Eye of Sealing - Marx's left eye possesses the power to suck in and consume magical energy/abilities like a vortex in a cone-like area directly in front of him, the radius ranging from the edges of his peripheral vision. Marx can then discharge it as raw magical energy for attacks, constructing a basic barrier around himself or to choose to keep it within himself to supplement his other magic. This ability may consume any magic, including elemental attacks and magical barriers, and will cancel out mental/influencing/manipulation-type abilities if they are currently affecting him. If too much magical energy is consumed at once (I.e. If an attack is too powerful) then Marx's body will be overloaded and he will probably die, the same happening if the overall amount of magic within his body reaches a certain threshold (due to his curse). Marx cannot use this ability at the same time as his "Eye of Beholding" as the magical energy transfer when using both will overload his body, likely killing him.

Eye of Beholding - Marx may use magical energy via his right eye to empower himself, enhancing his speed, strength, senses and durability for as long as he has magical energy. The buff scales with how much magical energy he has absorbed and may even gain traits from a type of magic if he has absorbed a lot of it (I.e. If he has consumed a lot of Fire magic, the magic aura he gains will appear in the form of raging flames engulfing his body, granting him some fire immunity). If Marx has not got any magical energy in his body, this ability uses his own life/soul energy, further increasing the limits to which the buff scales but slowly killing him in the process. If he uses the ability in this way too much, it will kill him. Marx cannot used this ability at the same time as his "Eye of Sealing" as the magical energy transfer when using both will overload his body, likely killing him.

Dark Spite: Curse - Marx has been cursed by a magical spell that he apparently cannot dispel. His heart had been replaced by an empty space where the majority of his magic gathers. This functions as a pseudo-heart, ensuring his body can still function. He does not need to eat, breathe or sleep and he no longer ages. He has no blood, instead soul/life energy/magic courses through his veins, meaning he cannot bleed from normal injuries, he cannot be poisoned by non-magical poisons and grevious injuries on vital organs are not lethal to him. Marx may spend this magical "soul blood" to fix his bodily wounds, but he has a finite amount of it and has no conceivable way of regaining it.

Sellsword - Whilst he is no master, Marx has had plenty of experience over the years fighting foes as a mercenary with his sword. As such, whilst he might not be the most skilled at wielding it, he has picked up the knack for predicting attacks, making him rather talented at blocking, parrying and counter-attacking. He is also naturally stronger, faster and more durable/enduring than most due to his training/experiences (but not more so than those who have it as a main ability, such as the pirate lad).

Weaknesses:
Eyes of Power - Marx cannot use both of his eye abilities at the same time or the stress it puts on his body will kill him. If Marx cannot see the target's magic, his Eye of Sealing cannot consume it. There is only so much magical energy that Marx can store and output in one go with his current state, so he cannot stack energy until he is as powerful as a dragon.

One-Eyed - Additionally, he can only have one eye actually open at any given time, creating a blind spot on one side. Wounding an eye prevents Marx from using its magical ability.

Anti-Magical - Marx is very susceptible to falling victim to those who have similar magical energy-stealing abilities. If he has no magical energy inside his body, he either must absorb some or be forced to use up his life/soul energy instead to attack/defend, even becoming slow and sluggish in his responses as a result.

Accursed Soul - Marx has no idea if it is possible to remove his curse, but also worries what would happen to his body if it is removed. Would he regain his heart? Would he simply die? This is a tender subject for him and it won't fail to draw his ire if touched upon too inconsiderately. Additionally, Marx does not benefit from any healing magic from outside sources whatsoever and it is the curse that limits the magical storage and input/output capacity of his Eyes of Power.

"I will Get what I want."

Name:

Zava

Age:
40

Nationality:
Irish.

Race:
Human.

For/Against the king:
Whichever benefits her the best.

Personality:
Zava is a shady, rowdy and vulgar person. She gets along well with anyone, but usually because she has an ulterior motive. She's a master liar and manipulator. She is also greedy and is slow to trust others, especially men. She has a sense of pride, claiming to be able to swindle anyone out of anything. She can be quite sexual as she tends to use this side of her to deceive and use people. Zava is also quite intelligent, wise and observant when she needs to be. When she warms up to people, she tends to show a more caring and compassionate side, and becomes surprisingly loyal. While still maintaining her wild side, she tends to act motherly towards her few friends. Zava is also quite religious, but keeps this to herself.

Backstory:
Zava was born in Ulster, Ireland. She grew in the worst part of Belfast. Her dad was a drunk and a womanizer and would occasionally beat her. Her mom was a servant and served a Noble Family. Whenever her mom could she would take young Zava to the Manor, there she would watch the child of the Manor play and be a normal child. She admired the young boy, and was a bit jealous of course. She never found the courage to approach him.

At the age of 13, her mother died and her dad sold her to some men so he could buy more liquor. These men would abuse her and use her as a sex slave. She was viciously raped and gang raped daily by her captives and random men. She hated it, anyone would hate that. She was eventually bought by a mysterious woman whose name will remain anonymous. After she was bought the mysterious woman set her free. She was 18 at this time. She had been a sex slave for five whole years. Rage and Anger had taken over her body, and she returned to her previous owners, killing them all in their sleep. She was never caught, and the mysterious woman let her live with her.

This woman would reveal to Zava that she is the descendant of Ireland's most famous hero; Cu Chulainn and shared similar abilities to him. The woman would train Zava in the ways of the spear and hone the young girls abilities. Eventually the woman would send Zava on a quest to find the lost spear of Cu Chulainn, Gae Bolg. It took a year for Zava to finally find the spear, and upon finding it she met her Ancestor's Spirit. The two conversed, and Cu Chulainn sent Zava back to the woman with his cursed spear. After some time the woman would die, and Zava believed her to be a seer meant to guide the girl to this discovery.

Zava did odd jobs and turned to a life of crime after the woman's death, and committed crimes from robbery to thievery, for a few years, saving her money in order to accomplish a goal of hers. She eventually moved to Londonium in England and In that time she had honed her skills as a swindler and spearman, and used people to gain items or money. She was becoming the best con artist in the Isles and an even better spearman. Finally, at the age of 28 she had amassed enough money to fulfill her dream; she opened up her very own brothel in Londonium. Truth was she hated men, with a raging passion, but she enjoyed manipulating and using them much more. She also loved sex, due to her constantly be used as a sex slave, she became a sex addict.

She ran her brothel, and made it a success. It soon became one of the most popular and respected places in the Isles. You could buy anything there; from information to sex. Zava became known as the Queen of Information. Any and everything she knew. It came through her doors and she learned it. She used this to her advantage to swindle many nobles, businessmen and if need be she is willing to show off her excellent spearmanship as she practices with it for up to four hours a day since receiving Gae Bolg.. She still runs her Brothel, and even owns other businesses. The Queen of Information is becoming a power player.

Powers/Abilities:
Gae Bolg:
a cursed spear which is said to inflict wounds that do not heal as long as the spear remains in the world. It targets the heart and will pierce its target.
Master Spearman: Due to a couple of decades of using and intense training with Gae Bolg, she has become a Master of the Spear. She has a plethora of techniques and styles at her disposal,
Protection Runes: Runes used to give Zava Protection from enemies and mythological beasts.
Determination of a Wish: This ability allows Zava to keep fighting even when suffering mortal wounds. Her singular wish that she must obtain keeps her alive and fighting. While helpful, she will go beserk and eventually attack allies along with enemies. This ability increases her spearmanship and combat prowess.
Enhanced Senses: Zava has enhanced senses, making them better than a human's. She is able to hear better, and see better and small better.
Charisma: Now this woman's charisma is a whole different beast than a normal silver-tongued person. She can talk the socks off of anyone, and has the ability to barter and negotiate her way out of any situation.

T H E B A S I C S

Name: Clair O'Reilly

Nickname: ‘The Crimson Terror’

Age: 21

Height: 5 ft. 8

Date of Birth: 16th August

Place of Birth: ?

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

● ● ●

W H O A M I ?

Personality: Clair is a psychopath and there is no way of sugar coating her actions. Clair is completely insane, enjoying nothing more than toying with the emotions and mentality of her enemies.

In battle, Clair loses all of the sense of humanity and wishes nothing more than to cause as much damage as she can to her enemies. Outside of battle Clair still retains her psychotic behaviour however she shows this more in the form of mentally disturbed or mentally torturing those around her.

If one can learn to cope with her impulse based torture, they can truly come to befriend Clair. In fact, they will likely become very good friends.

History: Clair was born and raised in an undisclosed location, which for those who do not know, is an oddity for those of arcane blood. Therefore let me go further and explain why this oddity came to be.

You see due to the circumstances of the time, a secret militaristic project was drawn up and put into action by Marik. The plan was simple, take an arcane and raise it to be the perfect weapon, the perfect biological weapon of mass destruction.

Now enter Clair, well firstly her parents. You see biological weapons require parts and fine tuning just as much as their artificial counterparts. Basically the short story of Clair's parent's boil down to this: They were essentially used to set about creating the perfect mix of arcane DNA that would provide Clair with a destructive arcane nature. That's it! And well once she was born and tested, her parents were discarded and put to the stake alongside the failed subjects..... Look I never once said this was a nice story!

Now finally we can get to Clair's role. You see after all of that came to pass, Clair was raised in secrecy by Marik and his military officials. She received the best militaristic education of the time, the best military training of the time and essentially lived the life of a military soldier from the age of five. Now Clair was also mentally conditioned to be psychotic and well in time all these things came into play when Clair reached the age of sixteen.

This is when she was officially drafted into Marik's private army and it is at this age that Clair finally began using her powers to their fullest. Clair at this stage was leagues above anyone else in her year group and as such rose through the ranks with incredible ease. In fact, in just a year Clair had risen to the position of general.

In the years that followed Clair found herself being transferred to Marik's personal guard and then again to knighthood once he became king. Without a doubt, the plan was a success and without a doubt, Clair is living up to the level that was expected.

Clair has brought suffering and destruction to countless people during the reign of Marik, she hs wiped out entire towns with her magic and tortured hundreds of rebels by order of the king. She is and always will be hated by the masses of her country, the death she brings wherever she walks has earned her the title of 'crimson terror'. Clair is the embodiment of fear itself and the mear mention of her name brings just that.

Goals/Aspirations: Clair wishes to simply live on and serve her kingdom to the best of her abilities.

During a blood moon, Clair's power becomes even more powerful, during such a moon phase Clair could easily wipe out an army of 5000+ with ease.

Name: Cadegan Mac Morrigan ("Just call me Cade. Cadegan sound's like one of 'em noble arse faces.")

Nickname: King of Pirates, Lord of Riches, and the Arse Face that keeps taking our women!

Age: 24

Nationality: 1/2 Scottish, 1/2 Irish (Loyal to Scotland)

Race: Tuatha de Danann-Mixed Blood Human

Appearance:
Joe Ro'ani.png

For/Against the king:
"Well the bastard never did nothing to me, but his dragon has caused my homeland's guardian strife. The seas have never been the same, so consider this a declaration of war titfucker."

Personality: Carefree, laidback, and adventurous. Cade is the very definition of pirate (although he swears he's not!). Cade is always willing to share laughter, a good drink, grand stories, and fellowship with even the most outlandish of people. Cade would knock you on your ass, then offer to buy you a drink with a smile on his face. Whenever a new tale of mystery or adventure wanders into his ears, you can bet Cade will be the first to sail off to check it out. His sense of freedom is matched by his quick wit and silver tongue, don't be surprised to find yourself in bed with him after a quick conversation. However, underneath Cade's easy-going attitude lies a beast ready to pounce if angered. Often called a sea devil when in battle, his fury knows no bounds when brought to fruition. And a good battle will always be front and foremost in his mind. Never before have you met a pirate as loyal to his homeland as Cadegan.

Backstory:
"They say he was born among the raging seas. The storm was his lullaby and the waves used to rock him to sleep. The great creatures in the abyss of the waters roared in delight at his birth and it was said Crom Cruach, that infernal sea serpent, laughed in pleasure at the newborns birth. Born to The Morrigan herself, death loves him, as death nursed him from birth. The storming seas adore him, as his father was that scottish sea-devil who plagued the seas during the time of our fathers. My own eyes have seen this beast masquerading as man, seen him conquer the fleets of the pirate lords and claim them as his own, with naught but his own hands.

His father, that monster of a man, raised him within his own armada, amongst the highlands of scotland, with beasts and man alike. From the moment of his first steps, Cadegan's life was battle, plundering, sailing, and conquering. Those monsters of the sea would rage and fight against their young lord, only to be brought low by his might. Those creatures of evil, the wraiths, dullahan, and serpents were but playthings that young lord broke within days. Even the fomorians, vile giants born of Balor, were beheaded, beaten, and brutalized until nothing was left. To his father's delight, that young Cadegan grew to become a monster in his own right, his might and power a mark of pride to his Father and Mother, who watches from the heavens.

But fear not lads, for all his fury, his love and loyalty will always belong to our motherland, Scotland. For all the raiding and rioting, the scion of death herself holds the utmost love for our mother Scotland. For she is the one who nursed his wounds when injured, who regaled him with stories of the wonders of the seas, she who held the love of his father, and it was she, Scotland, who let him roam the seas free.

Now lads, as you stand on this ship, listening to the tale of the boy who became a man and prince who became king, never shall you know fear. The Cadegan shall always draw blood, shall always seek fortune and gold, shall always be free among these seas, but never shall he turn his back against his home. Let it be known to all that would sail with him, that while death and war await you, immortality and gold is your reward.

For Scotland is his mother, the seas his love, and war his mistress. None are more revered and feared then Cadegan, Son of the Morrigan, Former Prince of Pirates, Now King!" -From the Journal of Finn Dun Scaith, Pirate Lord of Ireland and friend to The King of Pirates.

Powers/Abilities:

Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Cadegan's legend began with him wrestling a bear when he was six, not a cub, a bear. He choked it out and laughed as his father's crew stared in awe. His fights and battles over the years have only made it so that his fists have become weapons themselves. Kicks like blades and punches like cannons, Cade's Martial prowess is the stuff of legends.

Master Swordsman: Cade's father, the former Pirate King, was renowned for his swordsmanship, bordering on divine. It was only natural that Cade would have a blade in his had from the moment he could walk. Slicing through steel and the hulls of ships, a rumor has spread through Scotland that Cade could part the sea with his blade, whether that's true or not, that has yet to be seen.

Supernatural Physiology: Due to his bloodline, Cade's natural strength is an imposing sight. Not saying he can lift the heavens, but it's not strange to see Cade perform feats of strength far beyond human. Iron bends in his grip and the human eye is strained to follow him when he moves at blinding speeds. He can easily punch a hole through a mortal man with his fist and has been known to fell giants with his strikes. His skin is armor itself, impervious to most blunt force, stabbing/cutting objects, and resistant to magic. Cade can take on entire fleets of warriors with nothing but his bare hands, kill legendary beasts with his fists, and slay even the strongest of arcanists with his strength.

King's Will/Ambition Manipulation/Fighting Spirit: Cade has the ability to harness his ambition and will, using it to empower his attacks and strengthen his defense. This is commonly referred to as 'Ki' by easterners, but the pirates just call it Will. When applied to body parts, the body parts will turn solid black and gain a metallic shine to it, indicating the 'hardening' of the user's will. Can be used to predict an opponents moves and even used to exert your will onto others, knocking them unconscious, but it will not work on those with a stronger will than others. (Aka: YungJazz stole Haki from One Piece cause it's cool as hell, had to do with pirates, and couldn't think of anything for magic....what a lazy prick.)

Master Sailor: It's kinda obvious that Cade would be good at sailing, he's known as the King of Pirates for Uisce's sake. He could be in the middle of a typhoon, with a whirlpool underneath him and sea monsters trying to kill him, and Cade would still find his way out.

Equipment/Accessories:

Rhaphsodos-Blade of The Pirate King: A mythical blade given to Cade's father from the fae of ireland. This blade has the ability to absorb and erase magic of even arcane level, then can release that power with its attacks. Due to being magically forged, Rhaphsodos never dulls and always has a crimson color to its blade. This sword can cut through steel like butter and pierce the hide of many a mythical beast. One step below dragon scales, Rhaphsodos will not break or bend. It's somewhat sentient and you can often find Cade glaring down at the blade, as if it was offering sarcastic remarks to its weilder. Cade rarely draws Rhaphsodos, only for a worth opponent or if his own strength proves not enough, which is rare. Can be empowered by Cades King's Will. ("Damned thing always has some smartarse thing to say, always wondered how the old man put up with this thing for so many years")

Nuada's Spear-Star of the Seas: One of two gifts given to Cade by his mother, his only mementos of her. Nuada's Spear is Cade's beloved ship. It's seen him through many a adventure and is considered a part of Cade. Cade need not steer it nor needs a crew for it, as it is magically empowered to simply hear Cade's Will and it will set forth so long as its captain wills her. Impervious to most cannons, fire, and blunt force, Nuada's Spear is truly a marvel of both arcane and divine powers. Always having a eerie azure glow to it, yet somehow unable to be noticed when wanting to surprise her foes. The fastest vessel on the seas and according to Cade, his beloved partner.

Razor-Beast of Storms: The second of gifts given to Cade by his mother. Since the Morrigan would not be able to watch over her son and see his growth, she created a companion to accompany him on his journey through life. Razor was a strange sight to Cade's pirate family, he was a wolf pup with scales and horns akin to dragons and surged with the power of the storm itself. It didn't help that Razor was the same size as a horse by the time Cade was eight. Razor only grew as Cade got older, his loyalty and love towards Cade growing stronger with each day. Now, Razor sits well above ten feet and when not aboard Cade's ship, can be found in the frozen highlands of Scotlands mountains. Razor's roar shakes the ground and his claws and fangs are like blades of diamond. The beast has power over lightning and is said to call storms. Razor is used primarily to either bring storms to cover Cade's tracks, battle his foes, or be Cade's blanket on cold nights, often found supporting Cade as he leans against Razor for comfort. To Cade, Razor is his loyal brother who has been with him since birth.

Rhaphsodos.png
Cade's ship.jpg
Razor2.jpg Razor3.jpg

Weaknesses:
Close up combatant: Cade possesses no means of ranged weaponry or skills, so he has to fight up close
Light Magic: Being the son of the Morrigan, Cade is extremely weak to Light/Holy magic
Divine Weapons: Most normal weapons won't even faze Cade, but legendary weapons belonging to heroes and such can hurt him.
Women and Children: Cade will never bring harm to a child and will always hesitate when fighting women.

Name: Aldair Wave-Rider, Chief of Clan Glasmuin
Age: 55
Nationality: Scottish, from the Western Isles
Race: Kelpie

Appearance:
full

(This isn't actually him, it's just the image that I based his appearance on. Basically, it's just the general shape of what I imagine a kelpie's natural form to be like.)

Natural Form: Grey-green pelt and mane, grey feathers on front legs, black twisted horns, black eyes, multiple scars, black scales on tail, dark green fins
Land-forms: Old and weathered man, lanky grey hair and beard, grey eyes; strong dark-grey stallion, black mane and tail, brown eyes

For/Against the king: Personally unaligned, but owes allegiance to Uisce and so stands behind her against the king.

Personality:
~Loyal, Courageous, Wise~
First and foremost, Aldair is a warrior of Clan Glasmuin, and his people hold his highest loyalty. He stands by them unwaveringly, ready to defend them from any wrong real or imagined, and places their well-being above any others. After his clan comes his Queen, the great sea-dragon Uisce who guards the Scottish waters. It may be said that she is due his highest allegiance, and perhaps that is so, but feudal ties stretch thin over the vast oceans. That said, though, he knows his duty and treats her with great respect and loyalty, willing to obey her orders without hesitation so long as they do not threaten his clan.

Aldair has been trained as a warrior from his youth and so has learned to look battle in the face with an unflinching eye. He is a fierce warrior, terrifying to behold and seemingly without fear. This isn't strictly true, of course, but he is exceptionally brave. Some may even call this bravado, but he would argue it is not because bravado is not backed up by action.
Besides courage and strength in battle, he is also stout of heart when it comes to taking a stand. He is still keenly aware of the social hierarchy and is usually respectful, but not even a king can sway him once he has set his mind on what he believes is right.

Though age has brought him weakened limbs and heavier cares, Aldair has found it to bring one useful gift. Wisdom. As his youth began to slip away and he took up the responsibilities of leadership, he matured from a brash and troublesome colt to a wise and just chief. He is fair-minded and concerned about keeping justice, so his advice is often sought to resolve tricky issues. That said, though, he does have his blind spots.

~Reserved, Distant, Curious~
Aldair is generally a rather silent fellow, disliking showing his thoughts until he chooses. He does not trust easily, though those he does trust has it without reservation. He usually avoids unseemly displays of emotion, except those that are calculated, while he is in public. However, his closest friends know of a boisterous, mischievous, and fun-loving colt that still occasionally finds a chance to run.
An important part of leadership is maintaining one’s dignity, and this is a lesson Aldair has learned well. He is quite a splendid fellow to look at and his bearing is regal. However, though this is impressive to some, others find it off-putting and consider him rather cold and distant.

Though most of his youthful antics have been put aside, there remains one thing that continues to endure, his insatiable curiosity. Though he dislikes strangers, Aldair is always eager to learn something new. Whether or not he will actually do anything with that information is another question entirely, but he will be difficult to satisfy until he is confident that he has discovered all that interests him. However, his curiosity is more intellectual than practical, as only occasionally uses what he has learned for more than personal enjoyment. This has the serious drawback of him occasionally going through a lot of trouble or even getting into danger to learn something of no real significance. He does have a strong memory, though, so you never know when that useless tidbit of information might come in handy.

~Stubborn, Proud, Ill-Tempered~
In some ways, Aldair’s strong will and determination can be a strength; he is confident in what he does and unwavering in defense of his beliefs. In other ways, though, they can be a serious problem. One way that this manifests itself is a strong stubborn streak even over minor issues. He tends to be rigid and inflexible when he argues for his own way or point of view and rarely can be convinced to back down without a fight.

Much of this may come from his pride, of which he has a seemingly unending supply. He has much to be proud of, but though he does have what may be termed as ‘healthy pride’, he also goes beyond into downright arrogance. He nearly always believes that his way is the right way, that he can match anyone in anything, or that his dignity is of greater concern than others’. He hates failing, looking a fool, or admitting that he’s wrong, so he will usually deny it or occasionally put the blame elsewhere. He usually doesn't mean any malice by this, but it can be hurtful all the same.

Finally, an unsettling change has been seen to creep over the chief lately. Though he had always been of a rather fiery spirit, many unfortunate souls have recently experienced the lash of an unusually ill-tempered leader. He is often remorseful afterwards, though he will rarely admit it, but his outbursts of anger are becoming increasingly common and over less important matters. Many attribute this to his increasing age, but they don't dare mention this to Aldair because it is well-known that this can provoke one of the most furious reactions of all.

Backstory: Aldair has been the Chief of his clan for many years, so their well-being has been his highest concern. Though he knew of the death of King Edward and the rise of King Marik in England, he thought little of it. Yes, it was said that this Marik was cruel and mad, but Aldair had thought the same of the king before him, and one before him wasn’t that much better. Besides, what concern was it of his who sat on the English throne? They were not his king, and as yet none had dared threaten the kelpies in their own home. As well they should not dare, Aldair believed. But though neither Edward or Marik had been his King, Uisce was his Queen, and so when he was summoned and given orders to take up arms against the King of England, he knew his duty. Clan Glasmuin was going to war.

Powers/Abilities:
Shift Forms - Like any kelpie, Aldair has the ability to shift between his natural form and two land-forms, man and beast. This allows him to blend in relatively well, but close inspection will show his species. Possible visual cues include water plants in his mane or hair, oddly-shaped or backwards feet or hooves, unusually sharp teeth, or feral or black eyes. It is possible for a kelpie to mostly disguise these traits, but a sharp eye looking for them may notice.

Aldair’s strength and abilities tend to average out over his forms. In general, he is most powerful in his natural form and weakest in human form. As man and beast, he is stronger, faster, and more enduring than an average human, but less so than the average stallion. He is able to breathe both above and below water and can handle the increasing pressure and cold underwater with ease, but does not tolerate cold or high altitudes well above water.

Though he is able to walk on land without fear of being stranded, it is still important for him to keep an eye on nearby water sources. He is able to stay in a land-form for up to two days before he begins to weaken and will eventually die. This can be avoided by a long soak in a pool of water, preferably salt water. Drinking large amounts of water can slow the process in a pinch, but can’t stop it. Anything large enough to accommodate his smallest form is acceptable, but he prefers something large enough to swim in.

Capture - A common hunting tactic from when kelpies regularly hunted men, Aldair is able to capture or release people with a touch. However, it will not work through gloves or clothing; both individual’s skin must be in contact. If this happens, they will be unable to pull away and will be numb in that limb until he releases them. They still have use of their other limbs, albiet rather subdued, unless they were the ones to initiate contact. If this is the case, they're completely passive until the charm is released. For this reason, it is best used along with Mesmerise.

Mesmerise - If Aldair is able to stare straight into somebody's eyes and maintain contact and concentration, he is able to charm the weak-minded or untrained. There are many levels of success for this, depending on Aldair’s strength and concentration and the target’s strength, will, and training. Most people will experience some confusion or disorientation, and all will realise they're being charmed.

Against the weak or untrained, this can be used to plant a thought in their mind or strongly influence them to take a simple action. An average person may be distracted or slightly influenced by the charm, but may be able to pull away with an effort of will, though it will require significant concentration to do so. A particularly strong or well-trained individual will likely consider the charm nothing more than a minor annoyance, and an especially well-trained individual may turn the charm back on its caster for a battle of wills.

While attempting to cast this charm, Aldair has to maintain concentration and exert strength and will in proportion to the resistance he is facing. He is able to maintain simple or well-memorised actions (for example, walking or simple sword-drills, such as against an undermatched opponent, but not complicated actions like navigation or intense fighting), but his reflexes are slowed and his performance will suffer in proportion to the action’s complexity. He cannot attempt to cast it through glass or a similar material; he must have full eye contact and the target must make eye contact with him as well.

Battle Cry - When preparing to do battle beside other kelpies, but especially those of Glasmuin, the group of them may give voice to a fierce battle-cry that adds to their strength, fortifies their courage, and increases unity in the group. Allies within hearing are less likely to run away, though it is only of mediocre effectiveness for non-kelpie sea-folk (selkies, water spirits, etc.), and only slightly effective for land-folk. This may also serve to intimidate or even rout an opponent, depending on their training, morale, and discipline. Used correctly, it may give the illusion of more warriors than those that are actually present.

Weaknesses:
Physical- less adapted to land than water (see above), beginning to show signs of age
Emotional- quick-tempered and prone to outbursts he will later regret, easy to manipulate while angry or prideful
Mental- inflexible and often closed to new ideas, more likely to keep trying a failing plan than to consider a new one

Likes:
Fish (to watch and to eat)
Open space - preferably underwater, but open plains are nice too
Freedom
Music and Dancing

Dislikes:
Demons, Elves, Selkies... Strangers in general
Being thought old or weak
Riddles
Confinement

Extras:
You ask of my name, and well you might, for all kelpies are given a surname in recognition of their deeds, and so each bears a story worth telling and worth hearing. Before I became Chieftain, I was first High Protector, and before that, a warrior of Glasmuin. Many young colts aspire to be chosen to guard the salty lakes of our northern lands, though not all are able to endure the ordeals set forth for them to prove their mettle. But I and my guard-brothers succeeded in our tasks and joined the ranks of our fathers and grand-fathers before us. This was a serious duty, one we undertook immediately, and were assigned to guard the mouth of the cavern leading from our lake to the great sea beyond. The moon was full and all was silent, save for the sounds of the tide. But, as clouds darkened the sky, a great beast charged through the teeth framing the gaping mouth, past the guards, and toward our homes.

It was like a mother of serpents, straight from the deepest of depths, with terrible great fins, rows of teeth as large as our heads mounted on an endless neck, and a tail to match. Its eyes were full of malice, without pity or mercy, perhaps even without life. It was a grand and worthy monster, the like of which has not been told, save in the legendary tales.

Faced with such an opponent, perhaps some raw recruits would turn tail and flee, dishonoring themselves and their kin, but the guard-brothers of Glasmuin are made of sterner stuff than such weak-hearted hirelings. With the ancient battle-cry of our House, we attacked the beast, riding along in its wake as it plowed through the dark waves. It lashed its serpent's head about, flinging our brave warriors against the rocks, and slashed with its gleaming teeth, clouding the waters and staining the sands with noble blood. Many strong warriors joined their ancestors on that night, but the beast was driven away from our lake and has not returned. Those who lived to see the morn were summoned before our Chief, the storied Thyron Shattered-Spear, and honored for their bravery. Because we pursued the beast in the very currents of its attacks, though they pulled us into its jaws, we were called Wave-Rider, so that all may hear and know of the great battle.

Years passed, and then the time came for Thyron to join the everlasting feasting in the Storied Halls. We celebrated his life in the manner befitting a warrior of his fame, with feasting and song for as many days as years of his life. On the final day, as the sun rose, the clan gathered together to choose from our own who was most fit to lead us. Many warriors approached the Elders to make their case to lead, including many Wave-Riders, and they retired into the caverns to discuss their decision. There was much discussion among our kinsman as they eagerly debated and wagered on the outcome of the Elders' wisdom. However, among the warriors, neither a word was spoken nor did a morsel of food or drink pass our lips, for such would bring terrible bad luck and great dishonor on the offender and all his kin.

Hours came and went as the Elders talked among themselves, but finally they emerged from the gloom and the attention of every each-uisge was upon them. They approached in an unbroken line, but as they neared, they stopped in unison, save for the Eldest. Swimming forward from the center of the line, she surveyed the formerly boisterous crowd, which had fallen as silent as the night. The Eldest held great renown as the wisest of all, so that none would dare question her word. She spoke the name of their chosen warrior, but her ancient voice was feeble and wavering, and even her foals in their honored place at her flanks could hardly hear the name. But they did hear, and it flew from tongue to tongue like the winds of a gale. It swept toward the warriors in a great wave, crashing upon us with the magnitude of its news as it had for generations past and as it will for those to come. The name that reached our ears and was raised to the sky that day was my own, and we completed Thyron's honor by feasting to his leadership and the beginning of the next.

Aldair’s loyalties are a little unpredictable at times. It isn't always exactly clear where they lie, though he certainly knows. His primary concern is with his clan, extending out toward other kelpies, other sea-like, the Scottish humans, and only then to others. However, even if he may be in conflict with one of these people, he will still defend them against danger from outside. That is, while he would be unconcerned about the power struggles of people on the mainland, he might be persuaded to defend them against a foreign power.
Think of it as a bit like two siblings that are constantly fighting, but woe be on the poor soul who decides to pick on one of them while the other is nearby. He does kinda care about people beyond his immediate circle, but doesn't always admit it.

If the D&D Alignment System is helpful to anyone, Aldair would most likely fall under Lawful Neutral. There may be exceptions, but as a general rule he places a high emphasis on honor and tradition, avoids killing without cause (though he does not shun it within reason), and despises chaos for its own sake. A significant exception would be if an established authority or law was clearly and excessively evil, in which case he would be likely to resist it, though still as orderly as reasonably possible.

Name:
Aragon Montgomery.

Age:
35

Nationality:
English

Race:
Human

For/Against the king:
"Thyself lives and breathes for our King, for he is the perfect Antagonist of my greatest work!"

Personality:
Gentlemanly and soft-spoken. Placing the importance of the Story above all else, he will lie and cheat and by any means conduct himself that he might witness the unfolding of a grand tale, beautiful beyond compare. Consequently, he tends to distance himself from mentality of the "participant," taking instead the perspective of an abstract, "Authorial" third person. His regard for others differs by individual, dependent on their qualification as a special existence, or "protagonist." He interacts with "normal humans" only in a shallow, dismissive manner, and expresses an extreme interest in "protagonists." In slight narcissism, he frequently drops such self-authored quotes as, "Things bad begun make strong themselves by ill." He's taken a liking to certain terminology from modern fiction, such as "Death-Flagging." With short and effective words, Shakespeare brings to light that what humans usually keep hidden. This is like suddenly being poked by rambling, incongruous words, so one would probably feel shocked

Backstory:
Little is known about Aragon, and he rarely shares his past and childhood. All that is known is that he broke out as a famous playwright and author at the age of twenty, before that he was an unknown anomaly. He is known for his tales of despair and tragedy but has written stories of comedy as well. He cares for little in the world besides creating his stories, and once Marik ascended the throne, he pledged himself to the perfect antagonist.

Powers/Abilities:
First Folio
: The ultimate play that Aragon invokes. Depending on the circumstances, when invoked, the effects may vary. It is an ability that doesn't deal any physical damage, but it is the worst possible thing to face. Basically, there isn't anyone who doesn't have some kind of guilty conscience.

Regardless of friend or foe, he institutes the target group as characters in a drama of his making. Then on top of that, he confronts the target with a difficult challenge. To heroes, it would be their past regrets; to anti-heroes, it would be the moment they lost themselves. Aragon can expose the traumas that everyone holds inside themselves, and by ridiculing or censuring them, he can completely break their hearts. In regards to the target's life, it replays the scenes that mentally damages the target the most. In Aragon's words, it inflicts despair. An ability that closes the world, brings forth the script and forces the story along. Also, from the curtain rising to the curtain call, the target cannot receive or deal physical damage. The probability of being drowned and trapped within this ability is greater the more someone is confident of their physical strength. The only ones who can overcome this ability are those who can declare that they have not a single dirty stain on their lives. There are very few who can believe in something and have no regrets at all. If it's someone who can directly confront the trauma they hold, they might be able to somehow manage to overturn Aragon's piercing words. Though, when a someone has had their heart broken by this ability, they receive the bad status of “absentmindedness”. In this state, they are completely defenseless, and as long as they don’t have a ability which automatically responds to malice, they can’t deal with any attack

Epilogue: This Power allows Aragon to cheat death. It is something that is invoked immediately upon his death and allows him to manifest as one of the many characters from his books and plays. This lasts until all characters of his have been used up, and each character only lasts 24 hours. Aragon will retain his memories and personality, but also gain the abilities and powers of whichever character he manifests as. This Author will not die until his greatest work is complete!

Besides her beautiful looks, Grace Raven is a sweet and kind girl. She's very innocent and doesn't know anything that's related to lust or anything dirty, really. She's very bold and courageous. She's very determined and loyal. You can always depend on her. She isn't very smart, frankly.

Grace Raven was born in a very wealthy family. Because she had a lot of money, people expected her to be a spoiled brat or a bitch, but that was false. (" Oh what a shame, King Edward is dead... Good riddance.")
~ Caroline Fia' Matharnach ~

Name:
Caroline Fia’ Matharnach

Nickname(s):

The Blood Queen, Terror of the Coast, The Matriarch. (Or any Nicknames she's given throughout the story line.)

Age:

27

Nationality:

Scottish, habitually misjudged based on appearance alone however she’s completely native to the astounding plains of Scotland due to it being her place of birth.

Race:

Magic Corrupted Human

Race Explanation:

“Black Magic? Tis’ the Devil’s heinous work, heed my warning! Those who engage in the accursed act are damned by God himself, altering one’s appearance like that of a soul-consuming narcotic. Pupil’s as sharp as daggers yet as fiendish as a hound of Hell! Ears misshapen into wicked points as if mended together by the coals of the Earth. Abominations to mankind as we know it!” - Random preacher.

Magic Corrupted Humans are an inordinately scarce race due to Black Magic being a fairly uncommon practiced Arcane art, notably known to be forbidden amongst academies that utilize witchcraft. Yet curiosity in the proscribed always attracts those willing to sacrifice anything to gain untold knowledge, Humans are naturally always the ones that flock to this taboo abnormality as it appeals to their inquisitiveness and instinctive self-serving ideology unfortunately they’re filled with inexperience, often times injuring themselves and relinquishing pieces of their humanity while attempting to conduct rituals, hexes, and various types of spells. Caroline Matharnach is one of the few examples of naive humans who have committed their livelihoods to routinely experimenting along with honing her abilities to become ‘all-powerful’ in the wicked craft, as a consequence portions of her body have no altered to symbolize her depraved soul. The prepossessing sapphire colored eyes formerly had, now a sinister hue of apricot or violet that involuntarily give an impression of unspeakable malice to those unlucky enough to cross paths with them, they were the first change eventually claiming her ears shortly afterwards and transforming them to mimic an Imp. Magic Corrupted Humans are considered to be tremendously threatening because of the extensive knowledge they possess with occultism as well as having their mindsets twisted into egomaniacal personalities.

Appearance(s):

For/Against the king:
For the King, For now.
“Kukuku! You tease me with such an imprudent question yet I digress, King Malik is none of my responsibility for now albeit his unquenchable thirst for eradication of magical-beings is an imminent threat to my livelihood, Malik’s onslaught unbeknownst to him actually favors my ambitions, what ambition you say? Dystopia, Conquest, Power! So far every stereotypical villain’s lustful dream. With the sovereign nations under continuous conflict, bodies of sorcerers and innocence will pile and with that comes the resources needed to expand my powers beyond comprehension but that’s not all as with the untimely conclusion of magical users, I Caroline Matharmach shall be unquestioned! Kuku! I’ll let this charade of trivial politics play their little game for now until I eventually play my trump card and seize all.” - Caroline Matharnach

Personality:

Impudent, Boastful, and Ill-mannered. These are three of the most principal qualities of Caroline's disposition as she inhabits these three things the most out of anything. Never able to exhibit genuine compassion for those effected by her ruthless nature but unfailingly untroubled when it comes making decisions that only serve to her own well-being. Rash choices over obtaining insignificant supplies have almost always resulted in the imminent deaths of those unlucky enough to venture beyond the coast and into the Lost Sailor's cavern which many seafarers have titled due to ships mysteriously vanishing along with the explorers that foolishly entered. There's always a chance that she can be bargained with but like waving your palm across an open flame, there's a possibility of getting burned as a consequence. Overall Caroline's attitude is a very difficult one to get along with unless she is getting her way or spoiled like a child, conversations with the mistress always seem to irking for those involved.

Backstory:

"Gather 'round blue-jackets and fellow sea dogs! For I tell you the tale of Lost Sailor's cavern and none other than the damned Blood Queen herself! Oh yes, I speak of none other than the 'witch' they call Caroline and the untimely fates of those that have ventured into the unlit cavern and straight into the belly of the beast...I embark on this story at its very roots which only few know by heart. Long ago when Scotland was pure, free of King Malik's oppressive rule there lived a hushed child by the name of Caroline, given birth from both mother and father in the great plains of our land as they journeyed to seek unfathomable wealth in which they soon discovered in a now abandoned village just a few miles to the east where they settled down as a family. Alas not all fables can be merry nor full of joy! This false idea of happiness soon turned into a nightmare for the young girl and those involved."

"From the day that Caroline discovered the wretched art of magic was the day that the Devil himself claimed the souls of that village and the beginning of the Blood Queen. By the age of ten did she discover what we know as 'curiosity', taking the first few steps into introducing herself to the dark arts and soon practicing the forbidden craft yet Townsfolk simply did not notice, those poor-poor fools. Only days after did a looming presence dawn over the ill-fated town! The Blood Queen had mistakenly prepared a ritual that sealed the fate of everyone, even her own family, eventually a dreadful plague had slaughtered the inhabitants but all that remained was the disease-ridden bodies and a trail of small red footprints leading away from the town."

"Without anyone by her side, she was all alone and the only thing she had left to herself was the only thing she knew best... With that being known, Lost Sailor's Cavern became her home and a place of unholy work, void of God's touch and completely submerged in sin. Treasure hunters and many alike have fallen victim to the Blood Queen, only the bravest have ever voyaged to the cavern and escaped to tell the tale."
- Unidentified Sea Captain.

Powers/Abilities:
Maleficium ~ The Dark Arts
For clarification, Black magic is a variation of 'Magic' contradictory to Mysticism or White Arts.
Simply put users who practice The Dark Arts are capable of utilizing the many applications that are associated with it.

Black Witchcraft is a a form of magic typically used for selfish, self-serving and/or nefarious purposes. Though it is not necessarily "evil" magic, dark arts tend to focus toward destruction, harming, cursing and otherwise complicating the lives of other people while advancing the user's own state. Users often reject social convention and the status quo, which some suggest is in a search for spiritual freedom. As a part of this, they embrace magical techniques and practices that would traditionally be viewed as taboo and are generally willing to go farther than most would even consider if it serves their ends, Magic corrupted humans are a notable example of this! In spite of this category of sorcery having several applications, Caroline only uses two main forms of this powerful magic.

Necrokinesis / Necromancy:
The user's magical abilities revolve around manipulating the dead, death, the death-force and/or souls for good (i.e., resurrecting the dead), evil (in various ways) or neither. Users can also use communicate with the deceased – either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them bodily – for the purpose of divination, imparting the means to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge.
Many practitioners find a way to cheat death one way or another, whether by becoming some form of undead creature or by bypassing their own ability to die. (Examples of necromancy include but aren't limited to: Reanimation of corpses, Aura draining, and Communication with the dead.) (Update: Caroline can only summon undead for an hour as it's quite draining, if her mindless drone is killed or expires, they render into a pile of dust where they're unable to be re-summoned.)

Blood Magic:

Caroline has the inherent power in their blood to manipulate and/or fuel spell-casting. This is an ancient version that predates word-based magic and was considered by some to be more powerful. Blood Magic was a kind of magic based on the employment of blood which is an important component in many rituals, spells and other aspects of the supernatural world. (Examples of blood magic include but aren't limited to: Summoning, Spatial movement, and Manipulation. This is a very terrifying classification of magic and isn't to be taken lightly.)

Weaknesses:

Cowardice at heart: Ironic isn’t it? Even with the exuberant temperament this battle-axe of a woman has she still has a bit of reluctance to getting into conflict at first-hand, almost always sending droves a mindless grunts to dispatch of the threat themselves. If the situation becomes dire enough, Caroline will almost always surrender unless she has a plan, although arrogance in plans often succeeding makes this a rare opportunity to encounter.
Physical weakness: Despite having that ferocious Scotland blood, Caroline is far from the overly muscular barbarian type. Equipment such as ‘Claymores’, Warhammers, and other large-set weapons are achingly difficult for her to lift up, not only this but she can become easily overpowered if a combatant were to engage in close quarters combat or grapple her when she’s in a weakened state.
Magic resistant creatures: Entities such as Dragons who have a tendency to be irrepressible against Magic (Unless weak against her type of magic) are quite problematic for Caroline! Obviously as it's the only viable means of an offensive, making her attacks seem nothing more than minor irritations to these hard-wearing beings. Because of this devastating factor, Caroline tends to avoid direct encounters with Dragons unless it's absolutely necessary or unavoidable.

Likes:

Subservience. (Unquestionable Loyalty)
Being showered in compliments.
Participating in Mischief.
Acquiring power whether it be in influence or skill.
Similar personalities.
Magic except for anything relating to ‘Holy’ magic.
Glorious feasts, as do most.
Inclimate weather. (Hurricanes, Storms, Et cetera.)

Dislikes:

Being mislabeled as an ‘Elf’.
Non fulfilment, or simply failing.
Loudmouths other than herself.
Being ordered.
Blind loyalty except for her puppets.
Goodie-goodie two shoes! “Ick, disgusting!”
Insects, mainly roaches.

Theme(Optional):

Witcher 3 Profile picture inspired me to put this song.

Extras:

- Caroline is Pansexual -
- Centipedes and Millipedes frighten her beyond comprehension. -
- She is Neutral Evil, meaning she values her own ambitions above all else and does not shed any remorse for those she kills. Things such as order mean little to Caroline unless it benefits her directly. -
- She maybe 'Evil' but does this not mean her views can change as the story progresses. -
- Because of the Necromancy trait, Caroline is Immortal, not Invincible. She does not require sustenance such as food or drinks to live nor sleep, not only this but can manipulate her age willingly. -

Quotes:
“Everything is going according to plan, the puppeteer will conduct his ludicrous play until I decide to cut the strings.” - Caroline Matharnach
"Kukukuku" - Caroline's odd laugh.
"With this bloodied conquest of sovereign lands and a diseased swarm of undead at my finger tips, there's nothing I cannot accomplish." - Caroline Matharnach
